I just saw a news article indicating the newest items for sale are Apple Products. Apparently the boxes externally look legit, but inside they don’t! AND of course, the product is a poor imitation of the real thing.

I saw fake Apple AirPods last week.
I see them selling that crap all over the place now. Honestly I just thought they were empty boxes
This is one of those situations where if you buy branded products that “fell off the truck,” you kinda deserve what you get.
Apple products are definitely expensive. But you can’t beat Apple service.
“Feel off the truck” usually refers to stolen merchandise. I don’t know if these ever were on the truck. 🤣 Regardless, like designer handbags, shoes, watches etc, there is usually a reason the price is to good to be true- stay away!
When I first saw the title of this post I thought it was going to be about something like tainted applesauce -- must have had in on my mind as have recently read articles about not only contaminated fruits, but also about some very dangerous imported cinnamon.
Twice in the last few weeks I have seen someone (maybe the same person) walking down lower Broadway below Liberty Street with an armful of small Apple boxes that he was hawking to passers-by. I thought he had lifted them from the WTC Apple Store, but maybe they were fake? They don’t keep a lot of product on the shelves there, and there are often cops around, so I was surprised anyone could get away with that.

The Ashmolean Museum , founded in 1683 at the University of Oxford, stands as the first public museum in the world. Get ahold of a guidebook & have everyone, including the kids, have each person make a list of what they want to see & do & then combine to a master list.
