Take an AI-powered tour of Santa’s $1.18M North Pole cabin

There’s an all-new, interactive way to tour Santa’s cabin on Zillow, thanks to a virtual 3D tour of the Clauses’ North Pole home generated by artificial intelligence (AI), including never-before-seen spaces like Santa’s mailroom and gift-wrapping suite.

Santa's Cabin

The Clauses home was first listed on Zillow in 2016, and since then, it has become a high-tech holiday tradition – and one of Zillow’s most visited off-market homes with more than 3 million views (and counting).

Through the AI-powered tour, Santa fans can discover Mistletoe, fruitcake, and 15 other holiday items hidden within the 3D home tour. The Clauses have also made a few festive upgrades to their cabin this year, including a custom elf door, a naughty-or-nice detector, and a hot cocoa bar.

Santa's Cabin - Mail Room

“Rest assured, Santa is not selling his beloved home,” said Zillow’s home trends expert Amanda Pendleton. “The Clauses wanted to spread joy this holiday season by adding new photos and virtual experiences to their home details page on Zillow. This immersive technology makes it easy to imagine the spicy, sugary scent of gingerbread fresh out of Santa’s cookie-baking oven, the nostalgic sounds of classic Christmas carols crackling on the record player and the comfort of sliding into a pair of well-worn slippers warmed by the fire.”

Santa's Cabin - Living Room

This interactive tour of Santa’s House was created with Listing Showcase, which uses AI to select images based on what home shoppers want to see and embed those images into a clickable floor plan. This technology definitely provides a much easier way to explore Santa’s cabin than traveling to the North Pole, providing an enchanting yet realistic look inside the Clauses’ magical home.

Santa's Cabin

Zillow first calculated a special “Zestimate” for Santa’s one-of-a-kind 25-acre property by using comparable homes in remote locations (and adding a “Santa premium,” of course). Santa’s House is currently worth $1.18M, up more than 2% since last Christmas.

Zillow offers a peek inside santa's north pole cabin, worth $1.18 million.

Santa Claus may be busy this time of the year making his lists and checking them twice, coordinating with elves and readying his sleigh, but even he needs a place to unwind at the end of the day.

Seeing where he and Mrs. Claus kick up their feet is just a click away, courtesy of Zillow's annual listing, which gives a peek inside the home of the world's jolliest couple.

Of course, their North Pole cabin is not for sale. But, in coordination with the Clauses, the home listings site figured there was no better time to offer a virtual tour of their festive home.

"Rest assured, Santa is not selling his beloved home," said Amanda Pendleton, Zillow's home trends expert. "The Clauses wanted to spread joy this holiday season by adding new photos and virtual experiences to their home details page on Zillow."

virtual tour of santa's house

Zillow estimates that Santa's house is worth just over $1.18 million, a 2% increase from last year. The cost for the two-bedroom, two-bath, 2,000-square-foot house — which has a detached garage, reindeer stable and toy workshop on the grounds — is based on the one-of-a-kind property and comparable homes in remote locations.

Pendleton points out that the Clauses first offered a look inside their home via Zillow in 2016. Since then, it's become a holiday tradition. While it's the same house, it grows in scope each year.

New this year are never-before-seen spaces, such as Santa's mailroom and gift-wrapping suite. The Clauses have been busy with home improvement upgrades, such as the addition of a custom elf door, a naughty-or-nice detector and a hot cocoa bar, which they're unveiling for the first time.

The modest log home gives a glimpse at the lives of the Clauses. There's evidence that they like to spend time in the open-concept kitchen, likely baking gingerbread cookies. And Santa is diligent about keeping up with his naughty and nice lists in his dedicated mailroom/office.

It's also clear that Santa and his helpers delight in the appearance of the presents they bestow if a second bedroom's conversion to a dedicated gift-wrapping suite is any indication.

When it's time to decompress, the Clauses might cozy up to the inviting living room fireplace with a grand hearth or listen to Christmas carols on vinyl via a record player tucked beneath the stairs. Before hunkering down, it's easy to imagine them making a pit stop at the hot cocoa bar.

In addition to a photo gallery, Zillow's online listing includes a 3-D tour of the Clauses' North Pole cabin. That way, revelers can take a 360-degree virtual tour of each room and participate in a virtual treasure hunt to find 17 hidden items throughout the home.

"This technology gives visitors to Santa's House a much better sense of its layout and an easier way to navigate the cabin remotely without a trek to the North Pole," stated a press release from Zillow. "It gives true believers a truly enchanting yet realistic look inside the Clauses' magical world."

Zillow Offers AI-powered Tour of Santa’s $1.18M North Pole Cabin

virtual tour of santa's house

The tradition continues. There’s an all-new, interactive way to tour Santa’s House on Zillow. Families can take a virtual 3D tour of the Clauses’ North Pole cabin and explore every charming corner using a floor plan generated by artificial intelligence (AI). They’ll also find bigger, high-resolution photos of never-before-seen spaces, such as Santa’s mailroom and gift-wrapping suite, organized room by room.

Santa added more fun this year with a virtual treasure hunt, hiding more than a dozen holiday items throughout his cozy cabin. Mistletoe, fruitcake and 15 other traditional trimmings are now hidden within the 3D Home tour. The Clauses are also unveiling a few festive upgrades to their cabin, including a custom elf door, a naughty-or-nice detector and a hot cocoa bar.

“Rest assured, Santa is not selling his beloved home,” said Amanda Pendleton, Zillow’s home trends expert.

The Clauses first claimed their home on Zillow in 2016. Santa’s House has since become a high-tech holiday tradition, with more than three million views and counting. It is one of Zillow’s most visited off-market homes.

Santa’s House is now worth $1.18M, up more than 2% since last Christmas. Zillow first calculated a special Zestimate for Santa’s one-of-a-kind property by using comparable homes in remote locations and adding a Santa premium.

This interactive version of Santa’s House was created with Listing Showcase from Zillow’s ShowingTime+ brand. It is the same technology sellers and agents can use to highlight a for-sale home’s best features and make it stand out on Zillow. Listing Showcase will be available nationwide early next year.

Listing Showcase uses AI to select scrolling images based on what home shoppers want to see. AI then organizes and matches the photos to their corresponding rooms and embeds those images into a clickable floor plan so home shoppers know exactly where each photo was taken.

This technology gives visitors to Santa’s House a much better sense of its layout and an easier way to navigate the cabin remotely without a trek to the North Pole. It gives true believers an enchanting yet realistic look inside the Clauses’ magical world.

Zillow peeks inside Santa Claus' impressive North Pole estate

Take a virtual tour of Santa's log cabin, the elves' living quarters and more via the online real estate site.

virtual tour of santa's house

Santa's living room looks downright cozy.

If you've ever wondered about the private life of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, here's your chance to find out.

Online real estate site Zillow features a special listing with photos from inside Santa's three-bedroom, two-bathroom log cabin at the North Pole, showing off his living room, kitchen, bedrooms and study.

According to the Zillow listing, Santa's house was originally built in the 1800s, but the 2,500 square-foot (232 square-meter) home underwent a remodel in 2013.

More holiday fun

The modern upgrades include a gourmet kitchen with hot cocoa on tap and an oven with 12 cookie settings.

Santa's home also has a stunning floor-to-ceiling fireplace perfect for roasting chestnuts, as well as a study showcasing his sewing table, where he apparently built the original teddy bear.

Santa's elves don't live inside the Claus home. They hang their little hats in their own  private dwellings that include a tiny farmhouse, a rustic mini cabin and a petite bamboo bungalow.

elfhomes

The elves' tiny homes look pretty hip.

Each of the elf homes measures 150 square feet (14 square meters). Elves seem to have been way ahead of the  tiny home trend .

Santa's estate covers 25 acres. In addition to the cabin and elf quarters, there's a state-of-the-art toy-making facility, a garage with space for his sleigh and a stable for eight reindeer, plus a bonus stall for Rudolph.

The holiday icon's property is worth an estimated $764,389 (around £599,946, AU$1,055,774) after gaining 7.6 percent in value over the past year, according to Zillow.

But don't get too excited about the price. Santa's compound isn't for sale.

Did You Know Santa’s House Is Listed on Zillow? You Have to Take a Virtual Tour

It's true: There are stockings hung with care.

You might not typically consider holiday cheer high on your list of necessities for a new home, but, if you do, Zillow has the place for you.

Zillow recently unveiled a mesmerizing that captures the essence of a true winter wonderland. Nestled on a vast 25-acre plot, this single-family residence, spanning 2,086 square feet, beckons with the allure of a magical North Pole retreat.

Constructed in 1822, this quaint dwelling boasts two beds and two baths, forming a cozy haven that whispers of enchantment.

Across the way from the exquisite Reindeer Reservoir and nestled between Jingle Bell Boulevard, Holly Jolly Highway, and Tinsel Terrace is a perfectly petite log cabin decorated with red Christmas lights, two rocking chairs on the porch, and a giant red bow on the door.

While it is currently off-market, it’s estimated to be $1,177,870 of warmth with this classically designed cabin. You can practically smell the pine needles and peppermint through the photos. It might be in a difficult location, but the current owners seem to love it.

“Welcome to Santa’s House, a magical North Pole retreat nestled on 25 idyllic acres,” the listing reads. “This one-of-a-kind dwelling offers a glimpse into the enchanting life of Santa and Mrs. Claus.”

That’s right, Zillow created a cute, festive listing for Santa’s house in the North Pole.

The home is, of course, decorated with pine wreaths and garland, carefully wrapped boxes and stockings—all of which were surely hung from the chimney with care.

A glimpse above the mantel reveals a delightful photo of what must be four of Santa's elves. The two red velvet chairs look cozy and, somehow, pretty chic, too.

Stepping into the heart of this home, you'll see an open-concept kitchen that humbly boasts just one oven. But I suppose Santa and Mrs. Claus must host the elves at a different location—perhaps this is just their private oasis.

Besides, one oven is all you need for the essentials for crafting sugar cookies and steaming-hot pots of cocoa are at the ready.

The office space is definitely getting used this time of year. A desk made of the same wood as the walls looks out through a massive circular window split into two half moons.

Its purpose is clear: to provide a panoramic view of the winter wonderland beyond while also serving as the repository for letters from the myriad members of the naughty and nice list.

The home predominately features a carpeted floor, which helps it exude a snuggly and cozy ambiance, inviting any and every visitor to embrace the warmth and comfort within the home as snow falls beyond.

The primary bedroom isn't too large, but it has its own little fireplace nestled in the corner and an en-suite bathroom , creating a retreat of tranquility amidst what must be a particularly busy and chaotic season in the North Pole.

The second bedroom is used as Santa's gift room and, if you know anything about that man, you know he needs one.

Perfectly wrapped boxes are strewn around and gift wrap is left open, along with the drawers of one classic dresser. It's almost as if Santa and Mrs. Claus didn't clean up at all before Zillow took these photos.

If you’re wondering how Zillow created such a marvel, they used Listing Showcase , an AI-powered listing experience.

“Santa’s House is featured with Listing Showcase, the elevated listing experience available only on Zillow,” Zillow wrote. “Showcase listings are powered by artificial intelligence and feature immersive media and an entirely new design to help give you richer insights into the home’s layout and features.”

Zillow even created a 3D tour of Santa’s House, allowing you to find the treasures and Easter eggs hidden throughout in a 17-item virtual scavenger hunt.

The entire home is a testament to the enduring magic of the holiday season and helps us all take a little glimpse into the whimsical and wonderful life of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Families can now take a virtual 3D tour of Santa’s House on Zillow® in a new interactive way. They can explore every charming corner of the Clauses’ North Pole cabin using a floor plan generated by artificial intelligence (AI). The tour features bigger, high-resolution photos of never-before-seen spaces, such as Santa’s mailroom and gift-wrapping suite, organized room by room.

This year, Santa has added more fun to the tour with a virtual treasure hunt. More than a dozen holiday items, including mistletoe, fruitcake, and 15 other traditional trimmings, are now hidden throughout his cozy cabin. The Clauses have also made a few festive upgrades to their cabin, including a custom elf door, a naughty-or-nice detector, and a hot cocoa bar.

“Rest assured, Santa is not selling his beloved home,” said Amanda Pendleton, Zillow’s home trends expert.

The Clauses claimed their home on Zillow in 2016, and it has since become a high-tech holiday tradition, receiving more than 3 million views to date. Santa’s House is now valued at $1.18M, showing an increment of over 2% since last Christmas. Zillow calculated a special Zestimate® for Santa’s unique property by using comparable homes in remote locations and adding a premium for Santa.

This interactive version of Santa’s House was created using Listing Showcase from Zillow’s ShowingTime+SM brand. It is the same technology that sellers and agents can use to showcase the best features of a for-sale home and make it stand out on Zillow. Listing Showcase will be available nationwide early next year.

Listing Showcase applies AI to select scrolling images based on what home shoppers want to see and organizes and matches the photos to their corresponding rooms. It also embeds those images into a clickable floor plan so potential buyers know precisely where each photo was taken.

This technology provides visitors to Santa’s House with a better understanding of the layout, making it easier to navigate the cabin remotely without a trek to the North Pole. It also offers a realistic look inside the Clauses’ magical world, enchanting yet believable.

Her motif is all in jolly red, including her  KitchenAid mixer (the same one I own I must add), tea kettle, and dutch oven . I could only wish my home was that coordinated.

Watch your elbow while walking across the kitchen island, you might bump it into the tricked out hot cocoa draft. Let's be honest, Mrs. Claus probably spikes hers with peppermint schnapps from time to time. Hey, it's a great way to warm upon Christmas Eve!

Santa's House

Speaking of heating up, make sure to check out her decked-out oven complete with 12 different cookie settings. As if Santa doesn't eat enough cookies during the holiday season, but who's counting?

Other rooms in the house include a warm and rustic bedroom , a sewing table for Santa to mend his pants (Yes, I said Santa. This is 2017, women don't have to do all the sewing) and a nonexistent bathroom.

To see the rest of the house, check it out  here.

While this $710K home is off the market for now, you can buy your own Santa Claus house in Alaska , Finland, and Northern Canada if you are in the market for a festive home. Of course, the elves and reindeer are not included.

I bet Mrs. Claus follows these 5 important baking tips .

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

19th Edition of Global Conference on Catalysis, Chemical Engineering & Technology

Victor Mukhin

  • Scientific Program

Victor Mukhin, Speaker at Chemical Engineering Conferences

Title : Active carbons as nanoporous materials for solving of environmental problems

However, up to now, the main carriers of catalytic additives have been mineral sorbents: silica gels, alumogels. This is obviously due to the fact that they consist of pure homogeneous components SiO2 and Al2O3, respectively. It is generally known that impurities, especially the ash elements, are catalytic poisons that reduce the effectiveness of the catalyst. Therefore, carbon sorbents with 5-15% by weight of ash elements in their composition are not used in the above mentioned technologies. However, in such an important field as a gas-mask technique, carbon sorbents (active carbons) are carriers of catalytic additives, providing effective protection of a person against any types of potent poisonous substances (PPS). In ESPE “JSC "Neorganika" there has been developed the technology of unique ashless spherical carbon carrier-catalysts by the method of liquid forming of furfural copolymers with subsequent gas-vapor activation, brand PAC. Active carbons PAC have 100% qualitative characteristics of the three main properties of carbon sorbents: strength - 100%, the proportion of sorbing pores in the pore space – 100%, purity - 100% (ash content is close to zero). A particularly outstanding feature of active PAC carbons is their uniquely high mechanical compressive strength of 740 ± 40 MPa, which is 3-7 times larger than that of  such materials as granite, quartzite, electric coal, and is comparable to the value for cast iron - 400-1000 MPa. This allows the PAC to operate under severe conditions in moving and fluidized beds.  Obviously, it is time to actively develop catalysts based on PAC sorbents for oil refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and various technologies of organic synthesis.

Victor M. Mukhin was born in 1946 in the town of Orsk, Russia. In 1970 he graduated the Technological Institute in Leningrad. Victor M. Mukhin was directed to work to the scientific-industrial organization "Neorganika" (Elektrostal, Moscow region) where he is working during 47 years, at present as the head of the laboratory of carbon sorbents.     Victor M. Mukhin defended a Ph. D. thesis and a doctoral thesis at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (in 1979 and 1997 accordingly). Professor of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. Scientific interests: production, investigation and application of active carbons, technological and ecological carbon-adsorptive processes, environmental protection, production of ecologically clean food.
