Wallows Will Celebrate Album ‘Model’ With Their ‘Biggest and Best’ Tour Yet

The boys of Wallows promised arena rock on their new album Model — and they are sticking to their word. On Monday, the alt-rock band announced tour dates in the United States and Europe for their upcoming Model World Tour, which includes stops at NYC’s Madison Square Garden and LA’s Kia Forum.

“I can confidently say this is the first time that I’m really anticipating a tour announcement ,” Dylan Minnette told Variety as they announced their tour dates, which include stops in Las Vegas, Boston, and San Diego. “I’m more nervous than ever — but not in a negative way. I know it’s going to go well. I know our fans show up but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it every day.”

Wallows announced their album Model in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this month, describing it as “very honest and authentic” and “imperfectly perfect.”

“We want this to be the most approachable album we’ve made. I want people to put this on if they’re not really a fan of us, and be gripped immediately,” Dylan Minnette said. “We don’t want to take too much of their attention, but we want to keep it. We keep them the whole time and make them want to come back.”

Joining the band on the road in the United States will be Benee, the Kiwi pop star responsible for “ Supalonely ,” “Glitter,” and “ Green Honda .”

Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public on March 15 at 10 a.m. local time, while Wallows newsletter subscribers get first access to a presale starting on March 12 at 10 a.m.

Wallows Set To Embark On Largest Global Tour To Date In Support Of New Album Model Arriving May 24th

Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows have announced their eagerly awaited global tour in support of their forthcoming album Model . Wallows’ Model Tour , their biggest tour to date, was revealed this morning with a spectacular short film directed by Nina Ljeti and stars the band themselves, along with a few of their friends. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off August 6 th in Portland, OR at Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds and will take the band across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom (full list of shows below). The 38 city tour marks Wallows’ first ever headline performances at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Budweiser Stage, Alexandra Palace, Zenith, and AFAS Live. Additionally, very special guest Benee will join the band on all North American dates.

WOW! Absolutely blown away by Wallows. They were super friendly at the meet and greet and the entire VIP experience was fantastic and definitely memorable. During the show, Wallows made the audience feel very connected. Their performance was so energetic and engaging. They definitely incorporated a lot of humor into the performance. At one point they played the Drake and Josh theme song. There was a little girl in the audience who must have been 4 or 5 years old, and they asked the girl her name and let her come on stage. She gave them toy dinosaurs and Dylan let her use the mic to talk into the audience! Braedan even made a picture of the Dino his new profile picture. I would definitely recommend seeing Wallows and even going VIP.

The concert was so fun. When my friend and I got there, we didn’t know about the signing, but i. was such a nice surprise and we ended up just spending a few more bucks to meet the band, which was a great experience. As for the actual concert, the opening act was fun to watch, but when the Wallows came on stage, the whole vibe of the room changed to a great exciting feeling. The venue was the perfect size for the type of audience that follows this band and overall, I had a great experience, and i would definitely go back to that venue when I get the opportunity.

it was so much fun!!! i screamed so much i couldn’t talk after wards and i could hear out of my left ear for a whole day!! my feet and legs hurt from jumping up and down and my arms hurt from being extended so much! i know all of this sounds like negative things but in the context of a concert, these are the outcomes i’m looking for. at some point i did disassociate and kind of just stand there and stare not know where i was or what i was doing but i got over that quick and that seems to be more a problem with me and less with the concert itself.

I took my two 15 year old daughters and their friend to the Wallows concert on February 23, 2018 and all 4 of us had a great time! The venue was really cool and I appreciated being able to "stay in the back" yet still keep an eye on my kids. I was also happy that the sound level was perfect, you could hear the music and understand the lyrics without each being over-powering. I would definitely take them or let them go see another concert at Third Man Records. They have been fans of the Wallows for quite some time and are bigger fans now!

Recommend this concert greatly. I love the Wallows. They are so friendly and their music is so catchy. I cried when they came out because I absolutely love them. There was a lot of mashing, singing along, and just an overall great community of people. The tickets were easy to scan at The Fonda Theater. If they come again, I will go see them. They are amazing and their stage presence is absolutely incredible. Don't miss when they have meet and greets or they are in your town.

It was so amazing! They played pretty much their whole discography, there wasn't much of that stop and talk stuff many bands tend to do, they know you're there for the music and they give it to you. They had such high energy and are just as good, if not better, live. I would 100% recommend, this was a bucket list concert for me and I had the time of my life!

This concert was truly amazing! From the atmosphere to the people and music itself it was a night I didn’t want to end and could stay forever . The band were amazing keeping the flow of music going and atmosphere alive even coping with technical problems with the drum which were fixed quickly. I would definitely recommend and want to go again

The show was held in a smaller club, but I never once felt crowded or like the music was too loud. The sound quality was great. The whole show was just incredible and I had such a great time! I can't wait to be able to see Wallows perform again. I would rate the concert with the highest rating possible! Such a great show and band!

I’m a new fan every since I finished watching 13 reasons why and I feel like clay so I decided to look up the cast but I found the person who played clay and I play all of the songs on repeat I love love this Music so much I love you wallows you are amazing I feel very good when I’m listening to you’re music! : )

Wallows Announce Their Biggest Tour Yet With Dreamlike Short Film, Tease Upcoming Single (EXCLUSIVE)

Wallows - the alt-rock trio  of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston - will embark on the biggest global tour of their career starting later this summer.

"I can confidently say this is the first time that I'm really anticipating a tour announcement," Minette tells Variety of the band's 38-city tour comprised of their first-ever headlining performances at arenas including Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum. "I'm more nervous than ever - but not in a negative way. I know it's going to go well. I know our fans show up but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it every day."

After announcing their upcoming album "Model," slated for May 24, Wallows unveiled the news of a global tour on Monday with an accompanying short film starring all three members and Benee, who is set to open for the band's North American dates.

"At first, the film was something Live Nation [who is producing the tour] tasked us with. We had creative freedom and so we just wanted to see how far we could take it… and I think it's fair to say it's beyond what Live Nation was expecting," says Minnette. "But at the end of the day, it is promotion for the tour. That's what it is but we took it and made it this ironic, sort of meta thing."

Directed by Nina Ljeti, the eerie video was shot at Los Angeles' Kia Forum and is composed of several easter eggs for die-hard Wallows fans to piece together.

The film starts like a typical promo reel, with Minette discussing the first time he attended a show at the Kia Forum but quickly takes an ominous turn as the viewer follows three separate plotlines for each bandmate.

In the end, the trio is reunited, fueled by a mysterious glowing tent representing "what's coming next for the Wallows, the future - which is unknown as of right now," adds Preston. "In the scene where the light gets turned off and the other ones are blinking, it's sort of us walking through what was the setup of our last tour and arriving to what's next: a mystery."

Other parts of the film are "completely random," says Lemasters, whose love for golf is a prominent theme in his scenes. "Those details - for example, the choice of casting our friends - was almost like a nod to our fans who have been with us to say even though we are playing bigger spaces, we still share these memories and elements," adds Minnette.

"We wanted to keep it as homegrown as possible. Our friend Danny who plays with us is the guy in the video wearing the sunglasses and trench coat - that character is called Double-o-Danny, which is the name of an Instagram account that Braeden and Danny formed on our first tour. It's the little things."

With more stage room to work with than their previous, 2022 tour, the ideas for the stage design are next level… and just a tad bit over budget. "I went big with my initial pitch," says Minette, adding that they are still pinning down logistics. "We've landed on something that is an extension of what we are putting our visually right now."

"The visuals for the album started to fall into place once we decided that the album was going to be called ‘Model,' and once we started floating around ideas with [art director] Aidan Zamiri, the entire story started to make sense," adds Lemasters, nodding that the nuances of what "Model" can mean - "Model home, Model citizen, Model album, etc." also has a lot to do with the tour's stage design.

By the time they finished the recording sessions for "Model," Wallows had recorded 25 songs with John Congleton, who also produced the band's 2019 debut LP "Nothing Happens." The album's second single, "Calling After Me," is due to arrive on March 21.

"It sounds like what you would imagine or kind of hope that the Wallows would sound like," says Preston. "It's an easily accessible, kind of light on its feet but still intricate and precise record. We hope it gets our fans excited while also drawing in new listeners."

Wallows Reveal Largest World Tour To-Date 

The alt-rock scene is getting ready as the multi-platinum trio Wallows announces their global tour in support of their upcoming album, Model . The tour is slated to feature special guests Benee for all North American dates. 

The “Model Tour” is scheduled to start on August 6 in Portland at Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds. From there, the band is slated to make stops in cities such as Vancouver, Seattle, Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago, Morrison, and San Francisco before wrapping up their North American leg on September 12 at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. 

The Wallows are then set to go overseas where they will perform in places such as Amsterdam, Paris, Edinburgh, and London. 

This tour announcement comes on the heels of Wallows’ return with their latest single, “Your Apartment,” which garnered widespread acclaim and marked their highest streaming debut to date. The band is slated to release their second single, “Calling After Me” on March 21.

"Model Tour" with special guest Benee

Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows have announced their eagerly awaited global tour in support of their forthcoming album Model . Wallows’ Model Tour , their biggest tour to date, was revealed with a spectacular short film directed by Nina Ljeti and stars the band themselves, along with a few of their friends. Watch the eerie, horror-film esque video which was shot at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum HERE . Produced by Live Nation, the tour will visit Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 31 at 7:30 p.m.

The tour kicks off August 6 in Portland, OR at Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds and will take the band across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom. The 38 city tour marks Wallows’ first ever headline performances at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Budweiser Stage, Alexandra Palace, Zenith, and AFAS Live. Additionally, very special guest Benee will join the band on all North American dates.

The tour announcement follows Wallows triumphant return with the release of " Your Apartment ” last month – the first track off of the band’s forthcoming album, Model, and their highest streaming debut to date. The second single “Calling After Me” is due to arrive March 21. The John Congleton-produced album arrives May 24 via Atlantic Records and is available for pre-order/pre-save now HERE. Model will be available physically on standard clear vinyl, limited edition “sunset” vinyl (lemon, tangerine & apple three-color mix) exclusively in Wallows’ web store , CD, and clear cassette. Wallows (composed of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston) have been best friends since the age of 11. They began playing music together in the LA music program Join the Band almost two decades ago and haven’t stopped since. In March 2022, the band released their sophomore album, Tell Me That It’s Over , produced by 3x Grammy Award-winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele). Frontier Touring is excited to announce the return of multi-Platinum alt-rock trio  Wallows  –bringing their biggest global headline tour to Australia this December – the  Model Tour 2024 .

Are there ticket limits in place?

There is a strict limit of six (6) tickets per customer for the presale and six (6) tickets per customer for the General Public (including VIP).

Please adhere to the published ticket limit. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or any other information.

How do I purchase Accessible Seating tickets?

We’ve updated our seating framework to include a larger range of accessible seating options. There will be an option for every price level and package available.

Accessible tickets (including Companion Cards) can be purchased by calling our Customer Service team on the Accessible Bookings line Monday – Sunday 9am – 5pm AEST:  1300 446 925 . This phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and cannot process any other ticketing requests.

Accessible tickets, both during presales and the general public sale period, can also be requested via our  Submit a request – Ticketmaster Help . Please be sure to include your relevant presale code with your request if wanting to make a booking during the presale period.

Will there be a queue in place prior to ticketing going on sale?

We expect that tickets to  WALLOWS  will be in high demand, and to make the process fair for everyone you may be placed in a queue.

You will be assigned a random place in the queue once the onsale starts. Your place in the queue is not based on what time you entered the Waiting Room. We suggest entering the Waiting Room 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the Presale.

Once you get your spot in the queue, please do not refresh your browser as you will be pushed to the end of the line.

We will get you through the queue as quickly as possible, so please sit tight.

How will I receive tickets?

All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are now digital, meaning you can easily access your tickets on your phone via the Ticketmaster app or mobile web browser via  Ticketmaster.com.au , add them straight to your phone’s ticket wallet, and share them with your friends and family.

Log into your Ticketmaster account and update your password if needed!

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Ticketmaster will regularly ask you to update your password to ensure the security of your account – you don’t want to get stuck having to change your password while the ticket timer is counting down during onsale as you can risk losing the incredible tickets you have secured.

Instead, now that you know you want to purchase tickets, log into your account and update your password today to ensure you are ready to nab those tickets.

Get to know Ticket Transfer so everyone has their own ticket

1. Open the Ticketmaster App

2. Tap on my events and select the event you want to Ticket Transfer

3. Tap ‘Transfer’ below the ticket you want to share (please note: you may have to wait a moment for the ‘Transfer’ button to load)

4. On the ‘Select Tickets To Transfer’ page, confirm the ticket you want to share (please note – you must Transfer each ticket individually)

5. Tap the ‘Transfer To’ button. Tap ‘Manually Enter A Recipient’ & enter your friend’s ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, and ‘Email Address or Mobile Number’

6. Tap ‘Transfer Ticket’. The ticket in your account will now say “Sent”. You can cancel or recall the Ticket Transfer at any time.

7. Your friend receives an email, asking them to accept the transferred tickets, and they can either login or create a new Ticketmaster account to accept.

8. The tickets are now ready to go in your friend’s Ticketmaster account and marked as ‘Transferred’ in your account
