An amazing adventure that provided great moments showing glimpses of what India is really is. Everyone was kind, informative, and welcoming. Would recommend it to anyone interested in an immersive trip where you will learn a lot, move non-stop, and have a true Indian feel. The only thing I would change would be an upgrade to the overnight trip so it is in Business Class. 2nd class was not bad but having a closed private space would have been much more accommodating for sleeping. Shout out to our amazing driver from Delhi who went above and beyond and to the tour guides who were walking encyclopedias.

I was in India for 3 months in total and the Intrepid tour was the perfect way to finish off my India journey! The tour itinerary was really well thought out and the accomodation was gorgeous! From camping in the desert in Jaisalmer, to the lush land and lakes of Udaipur, to the hustle and bustle of Jaipur and Delhi, this tour has it all! I loved how the tour was so flexible as well, we had lots of free time to do our own thing and explore outside of the tour itinerary but the option of other activities was always offered to us too which was really nice. Also a special mention in here for our tour leader Anant! He already knows this but he was incredible! He really went that extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable and always enjoying themselves throughout our trip. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking of travelling to India! You will love it!

I am going to write a fairly lengthy review because: A) I think it will help a lot of people who are unsure of booking with an agency and make new cautious about being ripped off B) Jitender provided an excellent service through out My wife and I are in india for a month, travelling from the UK. We left it to the last minute to organise the trip (golden triangle and Varanasi) so less than a week before I was frantically searching for tours and reading reviews etc. I got quotes from a lot of tour providers and Jitender had the best price. His quote was also the most simple, with a breakdown of itinerary and also the cost in £’s I explained what we wanted and he arranged everything for us, including hotels, internal flights, entrance fees and boat rides etc. Before the trip I was constantly whatsApp Jitender. He was very helpful with all my questions throughout. The driver we had called Sunil was excellent and a really nice guy. The hotels were all good, we do wish we chose 4 star throughout. The trip was amazing, the drivers good, hotels good and everything was so easy as it was all arranged for us, really made it enjoyable as India is crazy. Overall I would throughly recommend Go My Journey India to organise any trips you have in India or for the Golden triangle.

Excellent experience. The team was well organized and had great communication throughout the trip. The guides were well educated and knowledgeable on all our site visits and very skilled drivers. The accommodations were incredible with very helpful and friendly staff. Highlighted by seeing the Dali llama in Bodhgaya, a wonderful random coincidence!

North India Revealed, was an amazing tour. Our guide Sanjeev was really good. Free time is a bonus and though sometimes felt obligated to do what the rest of the group is doing, you can still go off and explore on your own. Watch out for beggars, of all ages including children. They don't take no for an answer. In India they expect tips, I wasn't aware of this but its on 10 Rupiahs which equates to about 2c Australian. Overall a really good trip.

 Boat Ride on Ganges

A boat ride on the river Ganges gives a unique experience in Varanasi. Your tourist guide will take you to Dasashmedh Ghat(main Ghat) where you will take a private boat ride and you will do a one-hour boat ride between Manikarnika ghat to Harischandra ghat. During the boat ride, you will see a beautiful Sunrise, some palaces on the bank of the river Ganges, laundryman’s ghat, some ashrams, shrines, crematoriums, etc.

Sarnath is the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment in Bodh Gaya. It is a great pilgrimage centre for Buddhist. Ganga Aarti

Aarti, the prayer ceremony of the Ganges river which takes place every day on the bank of the Ganges river. It is performed on a stage by a group of young Hindu priests. Chanting of hymns and blowing of the conch shell marks the start of the Aarti after that priests do this ceremony with incenses, flowers, and fire. More or less 12000 pilgrims gather there to see the Aarti. The Aarti starts after the sunset at around 6:30 pm in the winter season ( 7:00 pm in the summer  season) and is a  forty-five-minute  long soulful ritual.

This Banarasi temple was built in the 18th century by the Maharani of Bengal in the north Indian style of architecture with a multi-tiered shikhara. The statue of Goddess Durga was not erected by anyone, and it is believed that the idol appeared on its own. 6. Evening Aarti

The most spectacular of them is performed at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The aarti commences at exactly 6 PM on winter evenings and 7 PM on summer evenings.

You may watch the aarti from the ghat steps, rooftops of nearby houses, shops and boats that ferry across the river. The pooja is conducted by seven pandits, and the ritual involves a rhythmic chanting of mantras, hymns, and prayers in praise of river Ganges.

Viswanath Gali leads up to the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This lane is famous for its sweet shops and shops selling prayer items. You may also want to shop for Banarasi sarees, bangles, kurtis, holy books and wooden toys in this market.

When you are tired from all the shopping, do stop by the local eateries in Vishwanath Gali that serve lip-smacking chats, dum aloo, sandwiches, thandai, and sweets. Finish off your meal with a world-renowned Banarasi paan!
