Complete P&O Drinks Guide with Menus, Prices and Packages

In this post you’ll find the P&O drinks menus and prices , correct as of 2024.

Is the drinks package worth it? Making a decision about purchasing a drinks package can be difficult, so this post is designed to help you.

P&O drinks prices are in pounds sterling so it’s easy to gauge affordability. In my opinion, the drinks prices are very comparable to UK pub and restaurant prices.

P&O Drinks Guide

On P&O, drinks can be purchased individually or with a drinks package.

P&O drinks packages can be pre-purchased up until three days before your cruise. If you do this, you receive a 10% discount.

You can purchase packages when you get on board (no discount) and the price is added to your on board account and paid at the end of your cruise.

There are occasionally pre-cruise offers to tempt you to purchase ahead of your cruise so we recommend keeping your eye out.

This P&O drinks guide provides you with the individual prices, sourced from bar menus onboard. Prices are the same across all P&O ships.

In Brodie’s Pub the drinks menu features beer flights. Each flight includes three 1/3 pints for £4.95. This enables you to try a range of new beers from different regions of Great Britain.

P&O Drinks Menu: Spirits

Spirits can be purchased in single (£3.50 to £5.10) and double (£6.00 to £7.60) measurements. Mixers are purchased separately. As an example, rum and coke is £5.10 but the mixer will give you enough for two drinks.

Digestifs Menu

There are plenty of cocktails on the P&O drinks menus but I noticed that there were less frozen cocktails to choose from in comparison to other cruise lines such as Princess Cruises.

I did try a frozen Margarita on embarkation day and it just didn’t have as much flavour. My advice would be to avoid the frozen cocktails and order some that you may not have tried before. The Fruit Salad cocktail is one I’d recommend for around the pool on a warm day as it’s very refreshing.

P&O Martini Menu with Prices

I thought that the martinis available were excellent and perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

P&O Mocktails Menu

There are non-alcoholic cocktails available on all P&O drinks menus and in particular, Brodie’s offers a good choice for £3.25 each.

The Pussyfoot mocktail is a classic that has featured on P&O drinks menus for over 30 years. I remember enjoying them onboard Canberra when I was six years old!

Seedlip is a range of the world’s first non-alcoholic spirits. These are a great option for people who don’t want to drink but also want something a bit more sophisticated than a soft drink.

Brodie’s Pub Snacks Menu

Brodie’s menu also features a selection of pub snacks such as pork scratchings, nuts and crisps to accompany your drinks. Are you brave enough to try the ‘Pig of Doom’ pork crackling? Beware, they contain ghost chillis!

Costa Coffee on P&O

You can purchase your favourite Costa drinks onboard P&O Cruises, so if you like to start your day with a strong coffee, you may want to head to the coffee bar.

Tea on P&O

There is a selection of tea on P&O Cruises from your everyday brew to fruit and herbal teas. A cup of tea is £2.20.

Bars on P&O Britannia

There are plenty of bars onboard P&O Britannia to choose from so you’re never too far away from a drink. You will find some, like The Glass House, on other ships in the fleet.

Brodie’s Pub

Brodie’s is P&O Cruises’ onboard pub, a hub for live music, sport and entertainment. This venue is named after P&O’s co-founder, Brodie McGhie Wilcox. You can expect British bottled beers, spirits and wine here. It was nice to spot my local beer, Tribute, was featured on the Best of British menu.

This venue can get quite busy, particularly in the evenings when there are quizzes and games being hosted.

There are some quieter ‘break-out’ spaces with comfy seating and the casino is situated on the opposite side.

There is waiter service or you can order directly from the bar in Brodie’s.

The Glass House

The Glass House can be found near the atrium and is the perfect place for those who appreciate fine wine. The menu was developed by wine connoisseur, Olly Smith and includes a light, tapas-style food menu that incorporates wine pairings.

The Glass House bar on P&O

If you enjoy sipping a cocktail and watching the wake view, the Sunset Bar is a perfect spot. We enjoyed spending some time here in the late afternoon, during sailaways.

Crystal Room Bar

The Crystal Room is a lounge on Deck 7 on Britannia that’s popular with dancers. Most nights there is ballroom dancing here. As they say, dancers aren’t drinkers, so if you’re looking for a quiet bar, this venue is likely to be a good choice.

The Crow’s Nest

For fantastic front-facing views during the day and elegant drinks at night, The Crow’s Nest is a bar that can be found across the P&O fleet. The bar isn’t open all day but in the evening it turns into a sophisticated piano bar for after-dinner drinks. This venue can be quite popular on formal nights.

p&o cruises drinks menu

Live Lounge

On Deck 7 aft on Britannia, the Live Lounge is an entertainment venue that offers live music and doubles as the ship’s nightclub.

On some occasions, this venue was completely empty and we popped in to get a quick drink at the bar. This is where the 80s night is held but don’t worry, fancy dress is not required or encouraged.

live lounge p&o britannia

The Limelight Club

The Limelight Club has a glamorous interior and hosts evening cabaret entertainment over dinner.

We booked this venue twice during our cruise and really enjoyed the entertainment but the food was not up to the standard of the main dining room. I’d advise to go for the atmosphere, not the weird menus.

Limelight Club P&O Britanna

The Blue Bar

The main bar situated in the atrium on Britannia is a great place to meet friends and family before dinner. It’s very popular on formal nights as the place to sip your champagne or bellini.

This bar is brilliant for people watching and in the evenings there’s usual musicians in the atrium to provide some ambiance. It gets quieter after dinner as passengers head off to the other venues so for a drinks with friends it’s a nice spot.

P&O Drinks Packages

There are four P&O drinks packages available to cater for different needs.

It’s important to note that if you wish to purchase a drinks package, all passengers sharing a cabin must do so . This is to stop people sharing one package.

It means that you must choose the drinks package that most want to use. For example, you cannot mix and match drinks packages so if one person wants to purchase the Deluxe Drinks Package, all other adults in the same cabin must do too.

P&O Deluxe Drinks Package £54.95 pppd

Is the P&O Drinks Package worth it?

Personally, we were ready to purchase the Ultimate Drinks Package when we got onboard but quickly realised that for us, it wouldn’t be worth it.

If you plan to drink plenty on your cruise it will be worth purchasing but it will take some doing e.g. 8 pints or 6 cocktails a day just to cover the cost. The best value P&O drinks package is the Refresh drinks package at just £9.85 per person, per day but it does mean that everyone in the cabin will need at least the non-alcoholic drinks package.

The P&O drinks prices are very reasonable and what you’re likely to find in most UK high street bars and restaurants. By paying for individual drinks we didn’t feel pressurised to get our money’s worth.

There are opportunities to bag some free drinks on your P&O cruise if you keep your eye out. If you’re looking to keep your costs down, there is always tea, coffee, cordial and milk available at no additional charge throughout the day and juices are served at breakfast.

You may wish to consider buying a P&O drinks package if you have plenty of sea days or plan to spend more time on the cruise ship. I would advise you to do some simple calculations first before feeling like you need to have one.

Things to Know Before You Cruise

P&O Cruises Drinks Menus & Prices: All You Need To Know (2022)

As a lover of cruises, I know firsthand the importance of having a good selection of drinks onboard.

That’s why I was thrilled to explore P&O Cruises’ drinks menus and prices for 2022. From wine enthusiasts to cocktail connoisseurs, P&O offers a wide range of drink options to satisfy every taste bud.

But before we dive into the specifics, let me paint a picture for you. Imagine sipping a refreshing drink on the deck of a cruise ship, watching the sunset over the ocean as the wind blows through your hair.

You have the freedom to indulge in a variety of drinks, from classic beers to exotic cocktails. And with P&O Cruises, you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank, as their prices are reasonable and offer good value for money.

So, let’s explore what P&O has to offer on their drinks menus and prices for 2022.

  • P&O Cruises offers a variety of drinks on its ships with prices similar to local pubs.
  • Each ship in the P&O Cruises fleet has different bars and restaurants onboard, with different drinks available, and each bar and lounge on the ship has its own drinks menu.
  • P&O Cruises has different drinks packages available, including soft drinks and all-inclusive options, but passengers can also bring their own alcohol on board within limits.
  • Feedback from readers includes complaints about the limited selection and high prices of cocktails, but also a general agreement that cocktail selection is a big part of the fun on a cruise.

What’s on Offer

I can see from the pre-existing knowledge that P&O Cruises offers a variety of drinks on its ships, but I want to know specifically what’s on offer.

From looking at the drinks menus provided, it seems that P&O Cruises has a wide range of drinks available, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. The menus show that each ship has different bars and restaurants, each with their own drinks menu.

One standout feature is Iona’s gin distillery, which allows guests to enjoy a unique gin crafted onboard the ship.

However, many readers have expressed disappointment with the limited cocktail selection and high prices. Some have even critiqued the ultimate drinks package, stating that it is too limited and not worth the price.

It would be interesting to do a drinks package comparison to see if the package is actually worth it for those who plan on drinking a lot during their cruise.

Overall, while P&O Cruises does offer a variety of drinks, it seems that there may be room for improvement in terms of cocktail selection and pricing.

Ship-Specific Options

Ship-specific sips and swigs are showcased in the various bars and lounges onboard P&O Cruises’ fleet. Each ship offers its unique atmosphere and decor, which is reflected in its drink menus.

For instance, The Crow’s Nest, an elegant bar located at the top of the ship, offers stunning views of the ocean and a wide selection of drinks. Meanwhile, Iona, the newest addition to the fleet, has its gin distillery on board, serving Marabelle gin, which is crafted onboard the ship.

Moreover, P&O Cruises’ bar staff expertise is evident in their ability to whip up the perfect drink to match your mood and preferences. Each bar and lounge on the ship has its own drinks menu, offering a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cocktail or a unique creation, P&O Cruises’ bars and lounges have something for everyone. So sit back, relax, and let the bar staff transport you to a world of delicious drinks and good times.

Pricing and Currency

When it comes to purchasing drinks onboard a P&O Cruises ship, passengers should be aware that prices are listed in pounds sterling and vary depending on the type of drink and location on the ship. It’s important to keep exchange rates in mind when budget planning for your cruise, especially if you’re traveling from a different country.

Here are three things to keep in mind when it comes to pricing and currency on P&O Cruises:

The standard P&O drinks menu and wine list is available in several places on board, including each of the restaurants and selected bars and lounges on each ship.

Each ship in the P&O Cruises fleet has a traditional British pub with an extensive drinks menu and wine list.

Room service drinks and mini bar drinks are not included in the P&O Cruises drinks package, so be sure to budget accordingly if you plan on indulging in these options.

Wine and Speciality Options

Let’s explore the different wine and specialty drink options available on board a P&O Cruises ship. For those with dietary restrictions, P&O Cruises offers vegan and kosher wine options. The vegan wine list includes a range of red, white, and rosé wines, while the kosher wine list includes a selection of red and white wines. These options cater to passengers with specific dietary requirements, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a glass of wine with their dinner on board.

In addition to wine, P&O Cruises also offers a range of specialty drinks. Each ship in the fleet has its own unique bars and lounges, each with its own drink menu. The Crow’s Nest, located at the top of the ship, offers an extensive menu of cocktails, spirits, and wines. On Iona, passengers can enjoy Marabelle gin, which is crafted onboard the ship’s very own gin distillery. With a variety of options available, passengers are sure to find the perfect drink to enjoy while sailing the open seas.

Traditional British Pubs

I love visiting the traditional British pubs on P&O Cruises ships, where I can enjoy a pint of beer and a classic pub meal while on board. The pubs have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with wooden interiors and cozy seating areas. It feels like stepping into a classic British pub, but with the added bonus of being on a luxurious cruise ship.

The pub food options are delicious and comforting, with dishes like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherd’s pie on the menu. Pair it with a pint of beer or cider from the extensive drinks menu, which includes a variety of British and international brews. The pubs are a great place to socialize and unwind after a day of exploring the ship and its destinations, or to simply enjoy a casual meal and drinks with friends and family.

The British pub atmosphere on P&O Cruises ships is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys a good pint and classic pub food. It’s a great way to experience a slice of British culture while on board, and to socialize with other passengers in a relaxed and friendly setting. Don’t miss out on the delicious pub food options, which are sure to satisfy any cravings for comfort food.

Room Service and Mini Bar

Ah, the joys of room service and the mini bar – where you can pay exorbitant prices for snacks and drinks that you could easily buy at a convenience store for a fraction of the cost.

But fear not, there are mini bar alternatives and in-room drinks options that won’t break the bank.

If you don’t want to pay the high prices for the mini bar, consider bringing your own drinks and snacks on board. Passengers aged 18 and over can bring up to 1 litre of alcohol and unlimited soft drinks on board the ship when they embark. Additionally, each cabin has a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities so you can enjoy a hot drink in the comfort of your own room.

Room service drinks are not included in the PO Cruises drinks package, so if you want to order a drink to your room, be prepared to pay the high prices.

Alternatively, there are several bars and lounges on each ship where you can enjoy a drink at a more reasonable price.

Soft Drinks Package

The Soft Drinks Package on P&O Cruises is a popular option for those who want to enjoy unlimited draught soft drinks during their cruise. However, it’s important to note that this package is only available for cruises of five nights or more and costs £19.95 per day.

While the package does include a variety of soft drinks, it doesn’t include room service or mini bar options. It’s also important to note that the package only includes one drink per order and excludes Red Bull.

Despite its limitations, the Soft Drinks Package is still a customizable option that can be tailored to your specific needs. It’s worth noting that the package can be used for mixers, which is a great way to save money if you plan on drinking alcohol during your cruise.

However, if you’re not a big soft drink drinker, it may not be worth the cost. Ultimately, it’s up to each individual to decide whether the Soft Drinks Package is right for them.

Drinks Package Calculator

Now that we know about the Soft Drinks Package, let’s talk about the Drinks Package Calculator. It’s important to know the cost of drinks before embarking on a cruise, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks every day.

The Drinks Package Calculator is a handy tool that helps you determine if the package is worth it based on your drinking habits. The benefits and drawbacks of the package will depend on how much you drink and what you prefer to drink.

It’s worth comparing P&O Cruises’ drinks package with other cruise lines to see which one offers the best value for your money. Keep in mind that non-alcoholic and alcoholic packages cannot be purchased separately by one person, except in cases of medical or religious reasons.

So, if you’re a big drinker or plan on having a few cocktails every day, the drinks package may be worth it for you. But if you’re not a big drinker, it may be more cost-effective to pay for drinks as you go.

Bringing Your Own Alcohol

Interestingly, according to the article, passengers aged 18 and over can bring up to 1 litre of alcohol and unlimited soft drinks on board the ship when I embark. This is great news for those who want to save money on their cruise by bringing their own alcohol.

However, there are some limitations and advantages to bringing your own alcohol on board.

Advantages of bringing your own alcohol:

  • Saves money on drinks
  • Can bring your favorite brands and types of alcohol
  • Can enjoy your own drinks in the comfort of your room or balcony
  • Can share with friends and family without having to pay for each drink

Limitations of bringing your own alcohol:

  • Limited to 1 litre of alcohol per person
  • Cannot bring on board beer or spirits in cans or bottles
  • Corkage fee will be charged if drinking brought wine in a bar or restaurant
  • Any alcohol brought on board is meant to be consumed in the cabin only.

Ultimate Drinks Package Review

I personally found the Ultimate Drinks Package to be underwhelming and not worth the added expense.

While it does include a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, the limit of 15 drinks per day and the inclusion of only single measures of spirits made it feel more like a standard alcoholic drinks package.

The name ‘ultimate drinks package’ didn’t quite fit the reality of what was included.

When considering the value for money, it may not be worth it for those who are not big drinkers or who prefer cocktails over beer and wine.

The selection of cocktails on P&O Cruises was quite limited and the cost of cocktails was enforced as orders were taken on an iPad.

Overall, while the Ultimate Drinks Package may work for some, it’s important to weigh the pros and cons and consider individual drinking preferences before purchasing.

Feedback and Opinions

While some readers found the information helpful, others expressed disappointment in the limited cocktail selection and high prices on P&O Cruises. Many complained about the miserable cocktail selection, with most cocktails priced at over £7.95. Customers also expressed their disappointment in the ultimate drinks package, which was too limited and more like a standard alcoholic drinks package.

When it comes to package value, some readers felt that the drinks package may not be worth it for those who aren’t big drinkers. Additionally, the non-alcoholic and alcoholic packages can’t be purchased separately by one person, except for medical or religious reasons.

Overall, readers had mixed opinions on the drinks menus and packages, with many commenting on the importance of having a good cocktail selection on a cruise.

Are there any non-alcoholic drinks packages available on P&O Cruises?

Yes, there are non-alcoholic package benefits on P&O Cruises. Alternatives to drinks packages include purchasing soft drinks individually, ordering from the bar menu, or bringing your own non-alcoholic drinks on board.

Can passengers purchase drinks packages separately for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes, passengers can purchase separate packages for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on P&O Cruises. Comparing P&O Cruises drinks packages for value and variety offers pricing flexibility and allows for a customized experience.

Is there a limit on the number of soft drinks that can be consumed with the Soft Drinks Package?

I’m not sure about the context, but I can answer the current question. Soft drink package limitations vary depending on the cruise line. When comparing beverage packages, it’s important to consider the limitations and inclusions of each.

Are there any restrictions on bringing alcohol on board P&O Cruises ships?

I can bring up to 1 litre of alcohol when I embark on a P&O Cruises ship, but there are customs regulations to follow. Alcohol free options are available onboard, and bringing your own wine to drink in your room is allowed for free.

Does P&O Cruises offer any speciality cocktails or drinks?

Yes, P&O Cruises offers speciality cocktails on their drinks menu. While some readers have expressed disappointment in the limited selection, there are still options available for those looking for something unique and fun.

So if I drink G&T within the ultimate P&O drinks package do I have to pay for tonic with every drink as I dont see tonic on draught ty

No i am sure its included, you have up to £6.95 for a drink and a single gin and tonic would be £6.55 so I guess you would be ok?

On a drinks package some cocktails are more than the allowance of £6.95. If you are wanting one that costs £7.95 do you pay the extra £1 for it or have to pay full price?

@Heather Berryman, I don’t know personally, but have seen a complaint recently from someone who had been on the Iona in August saying they had to pay the full price for anything over £6.95, which does seem a bit much.

Gosh that does, I would expect to only pay the extra! Otherwise what’s the point of a drinks package?

@Heather Berryman, no I checked this- you get ‘20% discount’ off anything over £6.95 which I think is not very good. So you can have a £6.95 cocktail free but a £7.95 one will cost you £7.95-20 %(1.59) £6.36. This is making me think about having the drinks package! Princess just charged the extra but all their cocktails were included in the 12 dollar cap!

@Heather Berryman, hi you pay £7.95 but you get 20% off the £7.95

No you have to pay the full price and they give you 20% off that full price so if the drink was £8 you would pay £6.40 …bit naughty

No you have to pay full price plus you get a discount which in our opinion is wrong

We are going on a 2 week cruise and my question is can you take out an ultimate drinks package for just 1 week or do you have to take it out for the whole cruise

I am sure you have to take it out for the whole cruise x

Ive read that the drinks package isnt included in the disembarkment so how does it work in terms of paying for drinks on this day?

Hi Alex we always get up and off early so have never had to think about this, however juiced, water tea and coffee is available in the buffet restaurant.

it’s charged separately to your on board account i.e. your “final” bill is outside your cabin overnight this is charged to your registered card anything on disembarkation day would be a separate charge to your card

Are po offering beer only tickets as of previous years on 2022 cruises

Ooh not sure but will check this out, although the P&O package seems to be the best deal of all the cruise lines,

There is a guy on Youtube who reviews the ultimate drinks package and he says it’s the worst. I have done a few cruise lines and this package actually looks criminal as most the drinks apart from beer are over the £6.95. I don’t know how they get away with it

I think if you drinks beer and wine or spirits you are fine but not cocktails, I agree it is wrong, but as a wine drinker its fine

I drink Malibu and fresh orange juice would that count as two drinks on the package deal?

That would be one drink, as far as we have ever experienced.

Really a great informative site Very useful information

Thanks so much Frank, have a great day

very informative, just looking through the menus. never done a package before in all our eleven P&O cruises so feel a tad nervous about purchasing it. thank you for making our decision clearer.

Thank you glad we could help

Can I get port and lemonade in the drinks package

Yes as long as its under £6.95

The ultimate drinks package says it includes children’s drinks so if I have that I do not need to buy separate kids packages for the two children? Also my wife does not drink alcohol but the terms seem to say every adult in the cabin needs to buy the package so can I buy one ultimate and one non alcoholic package?

I am not sure whether she can buy the non alcoholic package you would need to ring them to check but yes you get one free kids package with adult alcohol package

Both adults are required to buy the same package. Therefore only two drinks at a time. However you can buy (2) juice for the children with your package, wait 15 minutes and buy alcoholic drinks for yourselves.

Yes that is correct!

My partner wants the drinks package but can i not have the non alcoholic package? Or must we purchase two the same?

I think its the same Ann but contact them directly if there is a medical reason they may be able to help

having drank bitter for over 50 yrs i see you dont have a proper bitter shame im on her in febuary

Its not us its P&O have a fab cruise

Can you take a bottle of vodka, onto the ship, or is it just wine.

Its 1ltr of any wine or spirit each

Hi do they sell Pina Calada in all the bars on P&O Ventura and if so any idea the price please

Hi Julia we had one in quite a few bars, i think its one of those drinks all bar tenders can make

Can you bring on a bottle of wine per adult per day from every port you visit? Thanks 🙂

Hi Jack no, only on the first day of your cruise

Hi, If you had say a double Bacardi with coke would this be one drink as the double Bacardi is below the £6.95 limit ?

I dont know as I didn’t buy a double when onboard, sorry

We have just purchased an ultimate drinks package, but we are having second thoughts about whether this is worth while or not. My partner drinks only cider and I’m not really a drinker, other than the odd glass of wine. Are there any discounts on the drinks if included in the package, or are they the same price? I am seriously considering cancelling this option. Thoughts please.

Hi Susan we have a drinks price calculator on the page this might help you work out if its worth it? Thanks Sarah

Hi anybody know how buying the drinks package works with just me and my 16yr old, she’s classed as an adult on the booking but obviously can’t drink alcoholic drinks would o just by one package but be able to get her soft drinks from that package too?

Hi Nicki as she is under 18 she will get the soft drinks package for free if you are purchasing the alcoholic drinks package as a far as we are aware

Thanks for taking time to assist everyone, l have had a Princes drinks package 15 max drinks per day and others unlimited. Can anyone please tell me what P&Os package is re quantity limit or unlimited

Its the same Brodie, also you cant get 2 drinks in 15 minutes and they are pretty strict on that

just buy the soft drink package and add your own alcohol … just saying 🙂

what you are just saying bring from your cabin? Who does that?

Comparison of P&O Cruises and Princess Plus Drink Packages

While you’re considering the P&O Cruises drinks package, it’s essential to compare it with the Princess Plus package, which also offers a range of included benefits. Princess Plus package benefits include tips, premium desserts, unlimited drinks (up to $15 each and 15 drinks per day), and fitness classes. On the other hand, the P&O package also allows you 15 drinks per day, but lacks fitness classes and some desserts require an additional fee. However, there are limitations of the ultimate drinks package. For example, the type of tonic and mixers used aren’t specified, and a corkage fee may apply if you bring your own wine. Thus, consider your personal preferences and consumption habits before choosing your package.

Exploring P&O Cruises’ Drinks Packages and Policies

Let’s dive into the specifics of P&O Cruises’ drinks packages and their policies to help you make the most informed decision for your cruising experience. The benefits of P&O Cruises’ drinks packages for frequent cruisers are substantial, particularly for those who enjoy a variety of beverages throughout their journey. From refreshing beers to sophisticated cocktails, and a plethora of non-alcoholic options, there’s something for every palate. Details About P&O Cruises’ Soft Drinks Package

After exploring the general drinks packages, it’s time for you to delve into the specifics of P&O Cruises’ Soft Drinks Package. Now, you might be wondering, is the Soft Drinks Package cost effective? Should I buy it? Let’s break it down.

  • The Soft Drinks Package is priced at £19.95 per day.
  • It does not cover room service or mini bar drinks.
  • It can be used for mixers, which is a plus if you’re a fan of soda-infused cocktails.
  • It becomes cost effective if you’re planning to order more than 10 Bacardi & Diet Cokes daily.

Breakdown of P&O Cruises’ Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Drinks Packages

You’re about to discover an extensive breakdown of P&O Cruises’ alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks packages. The benefits of the P&O Cruises alcoholic drinks package are numerous. It includes 15 drinks per day, all served as single measures of 25ml. However, there’s room for expanding the variety of cocktails in the Ultimate drinks package. This package notably covers a handful of basic on-board cocktails, but the cost for cocktails exceeding £7.95 is enforced. If you’re a non-drinker, P&O has you covered with a non-alcoholic drinks package. Remember, both partners must have a drinks package, yet exceptions can be made for medical or religious reasons. Each package offers a unique experience, allowing you to enjoy your cruise with freedom and flexibility.

  • Can the Soft Drinks Package be used for room service or mini bar? Unfortunately, no. The package is exclusively for drinks purchased in the ship’s bars, restaurants or cafés.
  • Can exceptions be made for non-medical or non-religious reasons? As a rule, all adults in the same cabin must purchase the same drinks package. Exceptions are only made for medical or religious reasons.
  • Is a vodka and coke considered one drink or two? It is counted as a single drink.

Tips for Maximizing Your P&O Cruises Drinks Experience

Before you embark on your P&O cruise adventure, it’s essential to understand the drinks packages thoroughly, and we’ve got some handy tips to help maximize your onboard drinks experience. Start by maximizing drink selection. Each venue onboard offers a variety of drinks, so explore different bars and lounges to enjoy a wide array of beverages. Next, consider the best value drinks options. Depending on your drinking habits, it might be more cost-effective to opt for a drinks package, especially if you enjoy multiple beverages throughout the day. Remember, both partners must have a drinks package, so if one of you is not a drinker, it’s better to pay for drinks individually. Lastly, don’t overlook non-alcoholic options; the soft drinks package can be a great option if you enjoy mixers.

Restaurant SIXTY

Ratings and reviews, location and contact.

The food was okay and the service was pleasant however it was not as good or as memorable as the other restaurants that we dined at whilst visiting Moscow. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the view was still impressive despite it being a cloudy... day. It had a nice atmosphere but we were quite cold! It's not a place that I would return to in a hurry. More

This restaurant is NOT for couples on a romantic date. The music is too loud, the people watching is too distracting, the interiors are wowing, and the views command abandoning one's table in a rash to snap that one more perfect photo. The visit starts... with a lush lobby and a high speed lift that takes you up 62 floors in a swoosh. Ears still clogged, you are greeted by gorgeous welcome girls who escort you to your table in a huge hall cleverly divided into intimate cosy zones, all surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and a glass ceiling. Despite the sanctions imposed by Russia on foreign food imports, only 3 items were not available on the extensive menu: buffalo mozzarella, asparagus and foir gras. I am appalled by the reviewer who chose a burger from the menu. Seafood hot starters could be a meal in themselves: Wasabi grilled prawns, crab legs and other shell fish are superb in freshness, taste and presentation. Salads have fresh and crispy greens (where do they come from?) and delicate dressing. The mains include, just to name a few, all usual cuts of beef, rack of lamb, black cod, australian baramundi, halibut. The service was superb, one meal followed another seamlessly. The waitress had little English but menu contains English and we had no difficulties at all. The wine list has great choices served properly. People watching was fun. The restaurant had probably the highest concentration of gorgeous russian women under one roof, which proved a bit distracting to some of our party. Every half hour or so, the restaurant will turn up the music which is a sign that they are about to open the windows exposing the most spectacular views of Moscow. It's quite exciting and provides a welcome wave of fresh cool air. In conclusion, the food and service are superb, the atmosphere is fantastic, the views are spectacular - an absolute must in Moscow. Very good service and indeed having good food and atmosphere. The only thing I can criticize is the size of the raw oysters, just a bit disappointed. But overall, fantastic experience!

Don't go to Sixty. The reception was rude. When we got seated they said, we can only have the table for one and a half hours, the food is too expensive to be told that. Service is awful, we got served a little bit of... water in the beginning, and that was it. The waiter never came by and asked if we wanted more. Luckily I brought some water myself, so I survived my stay here. It was also not possible to book a table over the phone for lunch, which is weird. There was also a camera lady forcing us to take a picture. We said no, but she insisted on taking a photo and didn't tell us what she needed it for, we assumed it was for their Instagram. She even asked us to stand up and move more together while we just had received our food. We told her no, but she did not understand. After a while, she left, but she managed to take one picture of us while we were sitting down, and after lunch was over, she came back and asked if we wanted to buy a framed photo she had taken of us. We said no thanks. I'm happy I didn't go here in the evening because it would have completely ruined my evening. I don't recommend this place. More

There are a tables near the windows, but it's impossible to reserve these tables in advance. It's so strange, because if I book a table in advance I'd like to have a choice and garantee the table near the window with view to Moscow. Why... do I need a reservation at all? We booked a table and came to the restaraunt 30 min.later than the table was booked. Hostes said that our reservation was cancelled because of our late visit. They didn't call us and didn't ask us to confirm our visit. It's Moscow, a lot of traffic jams and it's impossible to be in time. And the last one- there is no table in non-smoking place. Many people smoke during the dinner and other guests have to smell this. The restaraunt should have tables for non-smoking people! There should be a choice! This restaraunt was much better when it was opened 2 years ago (I visited it in august 2011). Now it has become much worse! It seems like night club. not restaraunt. More

I went to this restaurant hoping for a nice Borsch with a good view of Moscow city, but was rather disappointed with the usher. Left me in the central area and there was no one who attended to me despite having been there for a... good 15 mins or so. I decided to leave the restaurant soon after. Food can be fantastic, view can be fantastic but bad service just drives your customer away! More

Crooked restaurant. Very bad. Forget it. Definitely. Noisy, impossible to have a conversation. Bad service. They even do not consider ladies, they are not served first... My dish was cold when served. At the end of your dinner they are asking you cash first for... paying the bill and then if you cannot pay with cash they are asking you for a black or gold credit card instead and if you cannot provide it they charge you 10% more... More

We've celebrated my wife's birthday there. I specifically mentioned this in the order and loudly declared this once more when we've arrived (it was Friday, 15.01.2016). No Birthday cake and/or song for us. I've specifically told the waiter once more before we've order the desert.... No result. Awful. Furthermore, we've being promised a discount on my premium (platinum) Mastercrad, but instead we've being over-charged for USD 50!!! Unfortunately we didn't keep the bill (check) - our mistake. And now we cannot even claim the fraud. Awful!!! More

My girlfriend and I decided to try out the "famous" sixty restaurants. Actually I could never complain about reatauranrs of the Ginza chain. Usually they would have friendly, more or less skilled and especially English speaking waiters. This general rule obviously does not apply on... Sixty. The restaurant itself is really beautiful, we liked the interior design, the view and just the overall setting. The waiters in there though are just worse than peasants. We had around 5 different waiters serving us, constantly switching and not knowing about what the other one is doing. Instead of sending an English speaking waiter to our table, we had someone not speaking a single word, just taking to my girlfriend in Russian, and not giving me the feeling of being involved in any way. There was not only a lack of language skills, but also a lack of any kind of education. This person was the worst waiter I have had for a while. I asked for extra wasabi when our sushi came and the wasabi arrived when the sushi was gone, the 2nd order of drinks arrived after we were done with dinner for a long time. He was not smiling, not charming, not good looking, not caring about his customers at all,b just overall the lowest performance of a waiter. I've been eating in a lot of high class restaurants all over the world and I am absolutely willing to pay a lot of money if I get a return on my investment. I feel myself capable to judge that sixty is just overrated and overpriced for what you get. The service is worth nothing at all. The food is just average with too high prices. The crowd visiting that place is almost as bad as the waiters. It is full of wannabe new rich thugs, who would not even be allowed to enter a restaurant in Paris the way they look and behave. So all in all I can only say it is a palace full of peasants More

Actually the dinner was fine. And we are normally good spenders. But: 1) the waiter tries to sell you the most expensive food and much much more than what you really can eat 2) we paid more than USD 240 per person and we asked... for a vodka after the bill and we had to pay again for it. 3) And, sincerely, Mr Novikov, is unacceptable to put a person who doesn’t speak english at the concierge. We had to use google translator to get a damned taxi after 30 minutes!!! I UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS ALMOST EMPTY ON FRIDAY... More

Pre-booked a table by the window to enjoy the view from 60th floor. Upon arrival the staff impolitely denied having made such a reservation. Very bad start of the evening. This is disappointing, since the view is really the main attraction here. Food is decent,... service is medium, despite plenty plenty of staff, and hence a somewhat overpriced experience. One can see that a lot of attention is paid on presentation. Starters were nice, but portions are merely samples. Fish was overcooked, decently presented. The wine list is short and grossly overpriced, which is - unfortunately - not unusual in Moscow. Overall, Sixty was a somewhat disappointing experience! More

Worst restaurant ever!!! Service was terrible, no English spoken and food never arrived!!! They didn't care about us at all because they didn't understand. Moscow has better places!!!

The first we want to sorry about the “worst dinner”. We will immediately solve the problem with service and no English spoken waiters. Thank you for your review, we have to know all the problems to become better every day.

Bad and slow service, so so food, arrogant staffs. If you like a combination of these 3 qualities then step this way. To be considered only as a place to take photos and then leave immediately elsewhere. The staffs could not care less about quality... of services but are more than ready to check on the way you dress up for the occasion. My suggestion: order one drink, take photos and go elsewhere for real delicious dinner or lunch. Moscow has a lot more to offer than this place. More

Most of this has been said before on this site, but it's worth reiterating just how awful this place is. Yes, the view and the decor are great but the positives are far outweighed by the negatives. The door staff are spectacularly rude. It was... clear that even though we had a reservation they didn't think we were fabulous enough to eat there. Our waiter was totally inept. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks, our starters and mains all came together, and, after we sent out mains back because we wanted to eat our starters first, the same mains came back later on when we were ready for them, stone cold. They hadn't even bothered to reheat them. We sent them back again and complained to the manager. By way of an apology he brought us some free desserts - only we hadn't eaten our mains at that point. The whole evening was a total farce and not cheap either. This restaurant may not be extremely expensive by Moscow standards but for £100.00 a head the food simply isn't good enough and the service is unforgivable. AVOID! More

Nice location with perfect views to Moscow city and Moscow. What is bad you can not reserve by phone a table if want one to be close to windows. You have to reserve, visit them for deposit and then come again for dinner/lunch. The food... is average and Ginza has much simple locations with much more better food. So this is mainly a place to visit for views. More
