Excellent service

Nothing but praise for the 'phone staff. Friendly, polite and ready to deal with any query. Not everything can be solved online. I'm computer literate but many of a certain age aren't and find relief in talking to an actual person. I recently requested a call back and was contacted 5 minutes later.

Cruise118 - BRILLIANT GREG HILL

I booked with GREG HILL @cruise118 recently, he is a credit to his company, being efficient and knowledgeable. However, this week elderly relatives of mine tried to book a cruise through other companies very unsuccessfully. When I found out, I immediately contacted the brilliant GREG HILL, who very easily took this challenge in his stride and successfully made the booking. He’s the No.1 in his field. Well done Greg!

Always ready to go the extra mile!

We cruise regularly, always via Cruise118. You got us home from the Caribbean when Covid hit, now we wouldn’t use anybody else. Because our Christmas Cruise had to be transferred we have 5 cruises booked this year ! I generally find what I want and call Mandi (Amanda Leggett) and see what she can do for us. This year she has booked both Marella and Ambassador cruises for us not your Mainstream Companies. Always ready to go the extra mile ! Thank you Cruise118

We booked our cruise with Jennifer Stevenson. I cannot recommend her enough!!! She was so knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We deliberated over so many cruises, Jennifer was so patient and no hard selling, she just wanted to ensure we were all happy and had all the facts before we committed. This is the second time we’ve booked with Cruise 118 and Jennifer and I will not use anyone else. So far so good!

So far so good. Had a couple of amendments to make to the original booking and I was a bit anxious as some of the reviews were a bit negative. How wrong they were - phones immediately answered and the staff and the customer service were superb. I couldn't fault this company. Would definitely book with them again.

Excellent Customer Service

I booked a last minute cruise with Phil Davis. Wow, the customer service was excellent from beginning to end! We are new to cruising, so I had many what I thought were silly questions. Not only did Phil answer every one, but reassured me that they were not silly questions at all. He was professional, but extremely warm, easy to speak to and very knowledgeable as he himself had been on many cruises. I would not hesitate to recommend using Cruise 118 to any future customers. Daniel was awesome

First, I went to a travel agent to talk about cruises and was uninspired - then I happened upon Cruise 118 and was blown away by the difference. Daniel Norris is such a great person to be talking to about cruises. He gave me such an insight into his experiences that it really guided what holiday I might want to book. This Company cares

This Company cares. The courtesy with which I was treated was exemplary. My enquiries were treated with consideration and I never felt I was being directed to accept any element of the holiday that was not in my interest. To top it all off, I was given an additional hotel night free on the basis that I mentioned it was a trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! Beat that! And thank you Greg. Brilliant

Cruise118 customer service is impeccable

We'd been searching various cruise line websites and travel companies for a while before Cruise118 were recommended to us by a friend that had used them the previous year. Daniel called me and talked me through the best options for our family and gave a really competitive quote for our holiday, which we'd never have got online. This will be our first cruise and it was well worth talking to Daniel to work out what we needed and what we didn't!

A1 Service the best I have ever known.

The gentleman who dealt with our original booking was A1 in all respects- pleasant, courteous and helpful. We were then unfortunately advised of a bereavement which meant altering our plans. The lady who dealt with this went above and beyond and I would like to say that I have never had so much care given to me in a difficult situation, to such an extent that Cruise 118 will be my go to Company in the future. Everything was booked clearly and was pleasantly easy. All done in a pleasant manner too.

Everything was booked clearly and without fuss. This is our second cruise but very different to our last, a number of years ago, and the service and clarity so much better. Obviously this is a big year for us, 80th birthday and GOLDEN WEDDING. All we need now is a lottery win!! continued good health and, oh yes, a balcony upgrade!!!...do these ever happen? Excellent customer service

Booked a cruise to the Med. Easy site to navigate to find what I wanted and no irritating calls the moment I trial booked. On the day we probably scooped the best price available so I was happy. In my haste to get the best possible price I mst have selected the wrong button for the All Inclusive option. It made no difference at all to the price, but a large difference to what was offered. (Princess Plus or Premier). I rang up customer services next day and the lady (didn't get her name) took the time to work out what had happened and rectifned the mistake with Princess within the hour Same price, no cost to me just sympathetic customer service.

The booking was hickledy pickledy. There were 4 of us in holding bookings port side four cabins in a row Atkins. Rees. Jones and Stanley. By the time we all booked, it took a day to book 4 holidays, the cabins had gone and we were put other side of ship.

Empathetic and helpful

We had to unfortunately cancel our back to back cruises at very short notice; given my mum has entered end of life care. Cruise 118 were very empathetic and understanding and they have managed to recover some refund (something we did not anticipate at such short notice). We will use this company again. I spoke to Greg who was extremely pleasant, really helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the mini cruises I was enquiring about. After speaking with him I decided on a cruise and booked. What was quite a stressful experience….

What was quite a stressful experience initially, incorrect advice, no willingness to help whilst trying to get answers regarding changing a passenger on an upcoming cruise, my experience was rescued by a superwoman who is Lois! She was super helpful and is a credit to the company. Quick to respond and follows through on what she says. Would 100% rebook with Cruise118 (although I don't agree with the airline policies!).

i actually would not give any stars!

i actually would not give any stars! we booked a cruise in good faith and my partner had to cancel so i have tried to name change which i was originally told would be between £50 and £100 which i was happy with. when we called back to change it was £700 as it was a restricted flight! what the hell is that.never heard of it never kbnew it existed no co operation no one seems to know what the other is doing and i stand to be grossly out of pocket. i cannot beieve the level of incompetence. usually book with iglu who i have never had problems with. i am a regular cruiser and this has caused me so much stress my daughter is dealing with it

Would give NO stars.

Would give NO stars. Charge £50 each on top of loosing deposit for Cruise cancellation. Even though it is discretionary. My companion has been registered blind, cruise was originally booked before Covid 😢 Was a previous customer too! No other Cruise TAs treat you like this Very disappointed (I do not wish to pay and get a refund when I rebook, which was offered)

Fantastic professional service

We were unsure of how to spend our special holiday which was a celebration of three special birthdays( mine , my husband’s and our daughter who turned 18 recently) Daniel N helped me to navigate my way through the deals on offer , and answered any concerns I might have, before I decided on a 10 night break in the Med. Daniel was reassuring and professional, making sure I did not feel rushed. I am very pleased with the service offered by Cruise 118 and the ultimate outcome.

Awful Company - AVOID

Do not deal with these parasites. 1 - You save nothing. I checked and every cruise was available on the cruise line's own site for the same price so Cruise118 off no discounts 2 - They are grossly inefficient. Whereas P&O, Fred Olsen etc can sort problems out in hours my wife and waited SIX WEEKS and still an adjustment was not made 3 - They refuse to pay you back your deposit when you cancel due to their inaction If you deal with these parasites you will lose money

Costly mis informed

Called cruise 118 to get best price for a P&O cruise during booking conversation with Agent specifically asked if P&O are still part of the blue Light discount scheme, was told by Cruise 118 agent they no longer did blue light discount P&O only discount for Armed Services. So I though oh well & continued with booking. Now it seems that I was given the incorrect information , P&O do still honour the Blue Light Discount but only if you book through P&O themselves. If i cancel this booking which was booked less than 18hrs ago I will lose my deposit & extra payment. So even though I was given incorrect info I have no way of getting my 5% discount, so its obvious that the booking agent is told by 118 management to not give out that info even when they are specifically asked because they will not get the booking. Bad practice, so if any blue light card holders are thinking of booking through Cruise 118 for a P&O or any other cruise operator go to the actual cruise company themselves & check first as you maybe losing out on 5% discount. As they say, once bitten twice shy in future I will go straight to the cruise company themselves. Date of experience: 01 April 2023

We booked our cruise with Jennifer Stevenson. I cannot recommend her enough!!! She was so knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We deliberated over so many cruises, Jennifer was so patient and no hard selling, she just wanted to ensure we were all happy and had all the facts before we committed. This is the second time we’ve booked with Cruise 118 and Jennifer and I will not use anyone else. You won’t be disappointed, Jennifer is a credit to Cruise 118, a true expert and ultimate professional.

So far so good!

So far so good. Had a couple of amendments to make to the original booking and I was a bit anxious as some of the reviews were a bit negative. How wrong they were - phones immediately answered and the staff and the customer service were superb. I couldn't fault this company. Would definitely book with them again.

Excellent Customer Service

I booked a last minute cruise with Phil Davis. Wow, the customer service was excellent from beginning to end! We are new to cruising, so I had many what I thought were silly questions. Not only did Phil answer every one, but reassured me that they were not silly questions at all. Daniel was awesome

First, I went to a travel agent to talk about cruises and was uninspired - then I happened upon Cruise 118 and was blown away by the difference. Daniel Norris is such a great person to be talking to about cruises. He gave me such an insight into his experiences that it really guided what holiday I might want to book. This Company cares

This Company cares. The courtesy with which I was treated was exemplary. My enquiries were treated with consideration and I never felt I was being directed to accept any element of the holiday that was not in my interest. To top it all off, I was given an additional hotel night free on the basis that I mentioned it was a trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! Beat that! And thank you Greg. Brilliant

Cruise118 customer service is impeccable

We'd been searching various cruise line websites and travel companies for a while before Cruise118 were recommended to us by a friend that had used them the previous year. Daniel called me and talked me through the best options for our family and gave a really competitive quote for our holiday, which we'd never have got online. This will be our first cruise and it was well worth talking to Daniel to work out what we needed and what we didn't!

A1 Service the best I have ever known.

The gentleman who dealt with our original booking was A1 in all respects- pleasant, courteous and helpful. We were then unfortunately advised of a bereavement which meant altering our plans. The lady who dealt with this went above and beyond and I would like to say that I have never had so much care given to me in a difficult situation, to such an extent that Cruise 118 will be my go to Company in the future. Everything was booked clearly and was pleasantly easy. All done in a pleasant manner too.

Everything was booked clearly and without fuss. This is our second cruise but very different to our last, a number of years ago, and the service and clarity so much better. Obviously this is a big year for us, 80th birthday and GOLDEN WEDDING. All we need now is a lottery win!! continued good health and, oh yes, a balcony upgrade!!!...do these ever happen? Excellent customer service

Booked a cruise to the Med. Easy site to navigate to find what I wanted and no irritating calls the moment I trial booked. On the day we probably scooped the best price available so I was happy. In my haste to get the best possible price I mst have selected the wrong button for the All Inclusive option. It made no difference at all to the price, but a large difference to what was offered. (Princess Plus or Premier). I rang up customer services next day and the lady (didn't get her name) took the time to work out what had happened and rectifned the mistake with Princess within the hour Same price, no cost to me just sympathetic customer service.

The booking was hickledy pickledy. There were 4 of us in holding bookings port side four cabins in a row Atkins. Rees. Jones and Stanley. By the time we all booked, it took a day to book 4 holidays, the cabins had gone and we were put other side of ship.

Empathetic and helpful

We had to unfortunately cancel our back to back cruises at very short notice; given my mum has entered end of life care. Cruise 118 were very empathetic and understanding and they have managed to recover some refund (something we did not anticipate at such short notice). We will use this company again. “CAN'T GET MY MONEY BACK - WAITED 140+ DAYS NOW TOLD HAVE TO WAIT FURTHER 90 DAYS”

I cancelled my cruise with Cruise 118, which was to go on the 6th June this year, at the beginning of March due to being immunosuppressed. I was told somebody would get back to me in 2 weeks, they didn't! I phoned again and was told the cancellation hadn't been recorded! THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES TO DATE - and I'm still waiting for my money back. Initially I was told it would take up to 90 days to get my money - that was at the beginning of March. I HAVE A MINIMUM OF 26 CRUISE 118 PHONE NUMBERS RECORDED ON MY PHONE. I HAVE EMAILED TWICE, NO REPLY TO FIRST, AND STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME WITH REFERENCE TO THE 2ND WHICH WAS SENT TO THE MD ALISON ERNSHAW! I've been told: I could extend payment a month, then told I couldn't; I had to transfer cruise to a later date; I haven't cancelled the cruise; there's no record of my phone calls; I had to have vouchers; EVERYTIME YOU PHONE YOU GET A DIFFERENT PERSON, AND A DIFFERENT STORY - ROYAL CARRIBEAN THEMSELVES CANCELLED THE CRUISE IN APRIL - 4 MONTHS AGO! On 27th July, I was told yet again that I had to wait a further 90 days for my money back - again - on top of the 140 days? The cruise is no longer recorded on either of my RC accounts, and RC are saying it's been repaid? In fairness, I have always booked my cruises through Cruise 118 they are always competitive, informative and polite however, when it comes to paying money back they are appalling! Because repayment has taken so long, I have also had to pay my Sons ex her money back. Her family didn't believe I hadn't had her money back and instigated a solicitor to take out a County Court Order - it was either pay her or have a CC judgement against my name! I just want my money back now - I feel I have waited more than long enough, and this has cause me a lot of mental and physical stress, causing my illness to flare up, and in these times I can do without it. Just for reference, I am not the only person this has happened to - it shouldn't be allowed!
