Right, this place kind of fails, not too much though. So basically Game Grid is an arcade, and a kind of rubbishy one at that. On the Gatwick Airport website it says 'A great way to pass time', no. If you want to pass time, go and look around the shops, eat and sleep! It eats up all of your money and is actually kind of pointless really. Usually it's pretty empty except for a couple of kids playing racing games or shooting games. If you've got some spare money in your pocket, and some spare time, just play a quick game or two, better than doing nothing! But I wouldn't waste all of my money in there. That's why I give Game Grid a pretty dim 2/5!

A friendly Travelex man told that as I only wanted a small amount of Euros that it would be cheaper to use the cash machine to left of counter. A little tip for you :)

I always use Travelex as it offers the best exchange rate other than certain shops in london. I order cash online and collect easily when i arrive at the south terminal.

Travelex may offer the best exchange rates but it certainly does not offer the best customer service!!! unhelpful, rude and above all lacking manners. Maybe customer services course would be a good idea for certain individuals employed there (dyed red head girl & the individual at the vat till at the departure lounge northterminal Gatwick at around 1pm on 14.10.12) There seemed to be too many people there and not enough of them working!!!! will not be using this service again.

The only downside to this is you'll have to pay a £10 'branch collection' fee which covers the cost of manning the kiosk.
