Type -- HOHO bus - in the search bar above the posts, look to the right relevance/date and click date. You'll see recent threads.
I only recommend HOHO buses as a way to get a feel for the area, for people with mobility issues, or to entertain kids for a bit. Walking is the best way to see the history center. If someone has a mobility issue, a golf cart tour may be helpful.

We did manage to get on the second bus with separate seats. We were in Rome last month. On the day of our arrival, after an 8 hour flight, a very very long wait for passport control etc etc, we were finally ready to start our first day in Rome about noon Rome time (or 6 AM as far as our bodies were concerned).We did the 110 bus and it was a brilliant start. We didn't have to walk, we didn't have to figure out navigation.
