A truly unique way of exploring the city of love is by running the Paris Marathon. It is a once-a-year chance to run through streets that are normally dominated by cars. The course of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris will take you on a sightseeing tour showcasing some of the most famous sights. Starting at Avenue des Champs-Élysées you will pass by iconic landmarks like Opéra Garnier or the Eiffel Tower and finish with the Arc de Triomphe in the backdrop. This marathon in Paris is one of the biggest races in Europe with 50000 runners from over 140 countries taking part annually.

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris offers a unique opportunity to make the city yours by participating in one of the most prestigious races over the legendary 42.195 km distance.

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world, as much for the size of its field as the performances of its runners. Each finisher comes home with incredible memories.

Tens of thousands of runners come to tackle the most fabled long-distance discipline in athletics. This race across Paris, taking in the Champs Elysées, the Bois de Vincennes and Boulogne, offers an incomparable backdrop, with spectacular views and landmarks all along the route.

The Run experience fair at Porte de Versailles, taking place three days before the marathon, is also an occasion not to be missed, many professionals from the running world.

The marathon itself combines personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world's great cities. The athletes will pound the pavements of the French capital's most famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, where they take the start, towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli they'll then sweep through the Opéra Garnier, the Place de la Bastille. After a glimpse of greenery in the Bois de Vincennes, views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower point the way home.

Every year, this unique and spectacular setting attracts more and more entrants.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?

Days and times: to be announced Run Experience will take place in the Parc des Expositions - Porte de Versailles. Attention, race bibs will not be handed out on the day of the race. You will need to bring: Your registration with the QR code (you will received it 5 days before the event by email and will be available on your time to space) Your medical certificate printed Your photo ID

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?

The rules of the event state that “Any registration is personal, firm and definitive and cannot be refunded for any reason”, and “no transfer of registration is authorised for any reason whatsoever”.

Why am I redirected to a different website when registering?

Registration for this event is managed by Active.com (operating as "time to"). Checkout happens on their secure website.

Do I need a medical certificate?

Oh yes! Without a valid medical certificate stating "no contraindication to the practice of athletics in competition" or "no contraindication to the practice of running in competition" or "no contraindication to the practice of sports in competition", dated less than one year before the date of the race, it will be impossible for you to run !

Que fais-tu le 21 et 22 septembre 2024 ? Un petit voyage (plutôt intense 😅) à Montréal, ça te tente ? Depuis 1979, la capitale du Québec accueille des milliers de coureurs venus des quatre coins du monde, à l'occasion de son Marathon. Au programme, cinq distances !
