Last on our shores in 2019 to headline the NRL Grand Final, this tour will see the band take in more of our side of the world, with huge shows including stops in Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington locked in.

Joining OneRepublic across the tour is Sydney’s Masked Wolf who, in large part thanks to his huge single ‘Astronaut In The Ocean’, has cemented himself as an absolute force on the international hip hop stage.

THE CORRS RETURN FOR 2023 NATIONAL TOUR

  • Greg Phillips
  • December 7, 2022

artists on tour australia 2023

Irish Celtic infused pop icons, The Corrs will return to Australia in October and November 2023 for a seven date national tour. Joining them will be Aussie pop royalty Natalie Imbruglia the legendary Toni Childs and Adelaide trio, Germein.

After stunning the 13 000 strong crowd at the Hunter Valley’s Hope Estate Winery with their incredible and enchanting live show in late November, The Corrs are thrilled to return in 2023 and bring their music to fans all over the country. The One Night Only, Hope Estate show was a night to remember and fans welcomed the band’s return with a fervour that can only be describe as exhilarating!

The Corrs comment on the recent show and their return; “Returning to Oz was a dream come true! What a spectacular night and audience – we loved every second! Can’t wait to see you all for a full tour next year!”

artists on tour australia 2023

Promoter Andrew McManus ads; “It’s been two years since we first approached The Corrs with our plan for them to reform and perform here in Australia, throughout that time we’ve lived through Covid and the lockdowns, Australian border closures and so much more. Taking everything into account over our journey from our first approach to watching the bands brilliance on stage when they performed live at Hope Estate was an incredibly proud achievement by my team. I observed the tenacity of their agent in the UK, refusing to give in regardless of the obstacles which spurred our resolve here in Australia to bring this project home. Adding the spectacular display of the choreography of 500 drones moving in synch to the final two songs during the encore is another achievement of which we are proud.”

“What a band, what a night, what an experience, more than great memories in music, a band that hasn’t missed a beat and presented one of the concerts of the year”

One of Australia’s most loved pop artists, Natalie Imbruglia first stole our hearts over a quarter of a century ago with her chart topping smash hit cover of the iconic track, Torn, the most played song on Australian radio since 1990! Since then she has released six studio albums and in 2021 she made a triumphant return with her critically acclaimed, Top 10 album, ‘Firebird’. Natalie has won 8 Aria’s, 2 Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award and received three Grammy Nominations!

Most recently, Natalie had a cameo in the final ever episode of Neighbours where she played Beth Brennan through the 90’s and won the third series of the UK version of The Masked Singer.

Natalie comments: “I’m thrilled to be joining The Corrs on their 2023 Australian Tour. Their Hunter Valley show was incredible and they are such an iconic and beloved band. I can’t wait to bring my show to Australia and be back in front of a home crowd, it’s very exciting!”

Emmy winner and three-time Grammy nominated recording artist, installation artist and environmental activist Toni Childs is currently touring Australia on her Retrospective tour until April 2023, Toni will return with The Corrs in October, bringing with her an engaging show involving film, 3D mapping, animation, lighting, set design and interactive components. With an instantly recognisable voice and a string of international hits such as: Don’t Walk Away, Stop Your Fussin, House of Hope, I’ve Got To Go Now and Because You’re Beautiful. plus three new works, It’s All a Beautiful Noise, Reef 360 and Citizens of the Planet, Toni’s set will be filled with light, love, inspiration, thoughts and stories.

Toni Childs comments; “Super excited to be touring again… and how much fun is it going to be touring with this line up of  talented women! What can I say, my tail is wagging!!”

Also playing all shows are Adelaide based pop trio, Germein. Featuring siblings, Georgia, Ella and Clara, Germein add to the family feeling of this special evening. With a host of international tours under their wings, including opening for Cheap Trick, Phil Collins, Ronan Keating and The Corrs at Hope Estate among many and a list of accolades to rival even those most long running of acts, Germein will absolutely get the party started for the evening ahead.

With people flying in from countries all over the world to attend the Hope Estate show, The Corrs remain a global phenomenon. Get in fast as tickets will be in high demand!

The 20 Australian Artists to Watch in 2023

From tulmur to margeret river, covering everything from punk to electronic to folk, we’ve rounded up twenty aussie artists we think are set for a huge 2023.

Our annual ones to watch article ( here's last years ) is back to uncover some emerging gems in Australian music, who we think are on the right track to have a triumphant year ahead. With an incredibly large and talented pool to choose from, the decision was not easy… however based on their great sounds, accomplishments so far, and for some their plans that have already been announced for 2023, the Pilerats team have narrowed it down to the 20 artists that we think you should listen to right now and keep your eye on over the next 12 months.

So without further ado, feast your eyes (and ears) on The 20 Australian Artists to Watch in 2023.

Agung Mango

Bubbling up from Australia’s underground rap scene is the gritty experimental punk, jazz and alt R&B influenced sounds of rapper Agung Mango . Already appearing at Laneway Festival, Spilt Milk and Golden Plains in addition to supporting Wiki, Milan Ring, DJ Pee. Wee (Anderson .Paak), and Genesis Owusu on his national tour, 2022 saw Agung showcase at Bigsound, and release his EP Man On The Go ( read more ) - which was treated to a national tour. Kicking off 2023 strong already, supporting Freddie Gibbs on an AU wide tour, we're excited to see what’s next for this Naarm/Melbourne based rapper.

Asha Jefferies

Hailing from the Northern Rivers and raised in Meanjin/Brisbane, Asha Jefferies combines the patience of folk with the urgency of youthful pop to create meaningful, catchy, and at times melancholic songs that tell a story. Previously supporting Julia Jacklin, Thelma Plum, Babe Rainbow, in addition to her own headline nationwide tours, 2022 saw Asha entering a new phase - not only by showcasing at Bigsound ‘22 and taking out the Best Folk Award at the Queensland Music Awards 2022, but by finding her queer identity and embracing the love and expression that has come along with it. The result is the single Tank Tops ( read more ), which has sparked suspicion of more great releases in 2023 - in addition to an upcoming tour with Hope D.

Follow Asha Jefferies: INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK

Banjo Lucia

Absolutely the best concert I was ever at, honestly I don't think any other artist could top this. She had such an incredible presence on stage, every eye was on her and her wonderful team. Dua and her dancers moved gracefully and fluidly, with bursts of power and energy. Her vocals were insanely beautiful, every word was sung with such passion and love. Her grand finale of IDGAF and New Rules was simply amazing, with breathtaking choreography and stunning visuals behind her. The band sounded great and the backup vocalists and dancers were on point for every minute. Without a doubt in my mind it was the very best live performance I have ever seen, and I don't think anything in the future will ever compare to it. Dua Lipa, Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Monday 9th April 2018.

The. Best. Night. Of. My. Entire. Life. This was the second time for me to see Adele. Last time I was quite high up, this time I was in Golden Circle. The atmosphere was incredible, Adele made me feel like I was the only one there in a packed out stadium. The banter she has with her audience in hilarious, she includes everyone and t feels like you're hanging out with your best mate you've known for years. As for her songs, the emotion and passion she sings with is just so raw and heart warming, I cried so many tears. You can tell she has an absolute ball on stage and she has so many upbeat songs and the sass she has is unreal- it cracks me up every time! I feel so grateful to have been apart of this tour and so happy that Adele decided to share this experience with every single one of us. I hope she has the most relaxing break with her family and hope she knows we'll always be here for her whenever/ if she decides to come back. Xx

What can I say? This woman is simply a force of nature. Her sheer energy just washes over the crowd. So much positivity, and talent! That voice, the moves, the smile. Do yourself a favor and go see her show!

Hands down the best live concert I've been to in a long time. The newest album is a dream to hear live and this was made even better by the Audio-Visual effects, which were amazing! The venue is a really great space with a stunning sound system and tech. at hand - but really the credit goes to a fantastic artist who performed amazingly. Most of the setlist was from his newest release, but his editing and remix of these tracks and sneak peeks of some newer tracks made it even better!

The War on Drugs

Grace is a highly underrated quality for a rock band to possess. When compared to other, more universal assets like rawness, volume and ability it might seem a little forgettable, but a band playing to the absolute best of their ability and making it look as natural as breathing can be the genesis of some truly unforgettable moments of live music. Not one band that I’ve seen sums this sight up as well as Philadelphia indie rockers The War on Drugs, and when it comes to their sold out show at the Koko, Camden’s most ornate venue, most traditional phrases describing a well played gig seem too violent to sum it up. They didn’t “smash it”, they didn’t “blow the roof off”, they didn’t “destroy the place”, they were far better than that. Make no mistake, Adam Granduciel and co played up a storm, their psychedelia inflected country-rock filling every inch of this beautiful venue but the atmosphere was unlike any gig I’ve been to in a very long time. The crowd lost themselves in the music in a way that didn’t lead to mindless moshing and crowd-surfing, the 1400 people were enraptured, moved by the music, not to the music. It was an experience as beautiful as it was exciting and anyone with a passing interest in this life affirming lunacy we call Rock and Roll should seek it out as soon as possible.

For new users looking to follow their favorite bands and performers, our Artists pages are often the best place to start.

Whether you're on our site, or using our free app for iPhone and Android, the Songkick artists search engine is the fastest and simplest way to keep track of who's doing what right now. Be the first to learn which acts are touring, when they might be playing a venue near you, and how to get tickets for any future shows you like the sound of.

Looking to discover someone new? Hey, you’re our kind of music fan. That's why we've also included upcoming Live Stream Concerts alongside our artist searches, meaning you can easily schedule a more casual drop-in from the comfort of your couch.

Since launching our first app back in 2007, you guys - the fans, the concert-goers, the musical explorers - have been at the very heart of everything we do here. Our dream and our drive was always to bring Songkick members closer than ever before to the sounds they love, and the people who create them. Simply put, we pride ourselves on being your direct link to the greatest music artists on the planet.

Who are they, exactly? Well, according to our members, that changes almost by the hour...so let's talk about how Songkick keeps you in the loop.

Best live artists

A quick glance at our Most Popular Artists chart might tell you a few key things about the sorts of music fans we vibe with. For starters, it shows just how varied our members' tastes are. Pop, rock, dance, hip-hop, indie/alt and R&B all feature heavily, alongside a whole bunch of underground genres and rising scenes.

No two of you are quite the same - and frankly, we love to see it! Any time you check in, our 'most popular artists worldwide' and 'trending artists this week' leaderboards always read like a line-up for the greatest, most diverse live festival on Earth.

Among the top searches and best-selling music artists on our global roster, you might find anyone from Rhianna, Coldplay, Eminem and Ed Sheeran, through to Drake, U2, Kanye West,

Maroon 5, Beyoncé, The Midnight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, Justin Bieber - and that's barely looking outside the top 20.

After all, if the weekly race for a spot on our most popular charts tells us anything, it's that the whole concept of 'best live bands' is a tricky one to pin down. Everybody's looking for a completely different type of experience, every night of the year.

That's another thing we love about our users: you're incredible at keeping us on our toes. In return, we’ve made it our mission to help keep you on yours.

Find and follow your favorite artists on Songkick

When people talk about the 'best live bands in the world', a few big names will reliably come up time and time again. Just as crucially, there'll always be a good handful of newcomers, hot tips and total curveballs in there too.

For us and our members alike, that's a huge part of what keeps the live concert scene so fresh and exciting. There's nothing quite like the thrill of discovering a new favorite artist you'd previously never even heard of - and when that discovery involves a performer blowing you away with an incredible live show or streamed concert, the feeling is enhanced tenfold.

Songkick started out with the goal of helping you capture that moment as often as possible. Now, more than a decade into this, it's 100% what we're still about today.

New members visiting our site or downloading the app can use our powerful search tools to stay ahead of the game.
