For Victorian passengers not within this pick up zone, or our interstate passengers a quote can be provided for home pickup in extended areas – just contact our office.

My husband and I took all day tour to Blue Mountains with Anderson’s Tours. Our guide Mark was very informative and fun guy to tour with. He was very knowledgeable of the local history and places to go and see. The bus held 20 people and was very clean and comfortable. All ticket fees were included in the price of this tour so all you need to pay for is snacks/drinks at a couple of stops we went to. I have to extend a special thanks to Mark for going above and beyond in helping my husband who has mobility issues and was struggling keeping up with the group. Without his assistance, my husband would have not been able to safely enjoy everything this tour had to offer.

We had a great time with our driver/guide, Gabe. The weather was not as cooperative, but he made some adjustments, and we were able to see some of the blue mountain sights. We even got to see a couple of lyrebirds in the rainforest. It was sad that our tram ride was completely in the clouds, so we couldn’t see the falls. He drove to another waterfall just so we could see one and get pictures. He also doubled back after lunch to try to get the Vista view of the blue mountains, and we were able to get a peek between the clouds. Gabe narrated our ride with interesting stories and aboriginal music. This trip was awesome, and definately worth the time.

Rin was a fun, thoughtful and professional tour guide. She was THE BEST tour guide we have ever had in all these years actually. It was foggy at the Three Sisters and she went out of her way to return some time later to see if it would clear as she knew we all ( on the tour) came to see that! It finally cleared for about 10 minutes and you could hear our tour and all the other tourists cheering!

This was an amazing day trip we took with Anderson tours from Sydney. Our tour guide Adam was fantastic. He carefully thought through our schedule of things to see and had us there ahead of the crowds which made the experience even better for us. Adam was informative, funny, cared about his group getting the best experience possible and he played great music in the bus!! The cost of the tour was well worth it, we got to spend ample time seeing the Blue Mountains National Park, Three Sisters, taking the gondolas and cable car, had a great lunch at The Bunker Restaurant, to the Featherdale Wildlife Park and finally a ferry ride back to Sydney Harbour.

The guides were great. I had Bob for most of the trip and then KG for Featherdale who gave me a personal guided tour of the sanctuary after I was inadvertently transferred to the bus that was going to the zoo. I had no idea the Blue Mountains were as impressive as they are (much like the Grand Canyon but more green). And, Scenic World was neat with the world’s steepest railway. Featherdale has mostly indigenous animals, so much better than Taronga Zoo which I had visited the day before.

Our Guide K.G , really did make the tour worthwhile. Wealth of knowledge throughout the “entire” trip. Fully engaged from 1st greet to send off on the Ferry home. He read the weather patterns and made choices on the sequence of sights so that we had the best views. And we had a tricky day of weather so that was no small task. It was nice to reach the blue Mountains early before the rush time when other big coaches arrive. Also the smaller coach allowed us to go to other lookouts that the large buses could not access. Robert and the Anderson company was very accommodating. Our bus had a door issue and they immediately remedied the situation. Robert did everything he could to make our trip amazing even with the uncooperative weather. The look out point we finally found without clouds was great. Robert made sure we saw the mountains. Scenic world was fun. Lunch was great. Zoo was fun. Loved seeing the koalas and kangaroos. The ferry home was great. All steps of the way were taken care of and Robert made the day very enjoyable. You can tell he his loves his home of Australia and has an engaging way of sharing it with travelers. I highly recommend this tour. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience.

Cecile Canqueteau-Landi, coach of Simone Biles, named new University of Georgia women’s gymnastics co-head coach

1996 Olympian Cecile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts are set to be the new co-head coaches of the University of Georgia women’s gymnastics team, the school announced Thursday (25 April).

Canqueteau-Landi has coached seven-time Olympic medallist Simone Biles since 2017, including at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Canqueteau-Landi still plans to be ‘alongside Biles’ at Paris 2024, according to the press release.

"Congratulations, Cecile. I can't think of a more deserving person. Can't wait to see what the future holds for UGA Gymnastics!" Biles said on her Instagram story. "Y'all are in GREAT hands!"

"Throughout my life, gymnastics has provided me some extraordinary opportunities, from traveling the world and competing for my country at the Olympics to coaching amazing athletes at the highest level,” Canqueteau-Landi said. "Those experiences have helped me become the coach that I am while putting athlete's well-being first and helping them reach their full potential. I am thrilled for the opportunity to be the new co-head coach of the GymDogs with Ryan. I am looking forward to work with team in the near future! I would like to thank Josh Brooks,Stephanie Ransom the entire UGAA staff for this opportunity."

Canqueteau-Landi has previously coached with Roberts at WOGA Gymnastics in the Dallas-area. There, she and husband Laurent guided Madison Kocian to world and Olympic golds.

Following the Rio Games, Canqueteau-Landi and her husband became head coaches at World Champions Centre, owned by Biles’ parents, Ron and Nellie, in Houston.

“Her departure will certainly be felt, but her legacy will forever shape the foundation of World Champions Centre,” Nellie Biles said in a statement.

Coach and Bus Stations

It is possible to travel to St. Petersburg by coach from an increasing number of international destinations, with coach travel particular popular between St. Petersburg and Helsinki, and between St. Petersburg and the Baltic States. While St. Petersburg does have a Central Bus Station, many international routes are operated by non-Russian companies which prefer to use their own bus stops, close to either railway stations or major hotels. All stops are next to or very close to metro stations, while if you prefer to continue your journey by taxi, you will need either to book a transfer in advance or book a taxi by phone on arrival.

Central Bus Station Located on the embankment of the Obvodny Canal, St. Petersburg's Central Bus Station is the terminal for most Russian intercity buses (including daily services from Moscow), as well as international services from Munich, Warsaw, Minsk, Helsinki, and the Baltics. The 2010 opening of Obvodny Kanal Metro Station, about five minutes' walk from the bus station, has made onward journeys for coach passengers considerably easier. On the purple line, Obvodny Kanal is two stops south of Sadovaya, in the very centre of the St. Petersburg. To reach it, turn left out of the main entrance to the bus station and follow the canal to the junction with Ligovsky Prospekt. The metro station is opposite.

The Lyra Hotel is right next to the Bus Station, while other hotels in the immediate vicinity include the AlexanderPlatz Hotel and the City Hotel Comfitel .

Lux Express An Estonian company operating coach services throughout the Baltics and Eastern Europe, Lux Express offers direct services to St. Petersburg from Riga and Tallinn, both of which arrive in front of Baltic Station (Baltiysky Vokzal). Baltiyskaya Metro Station, attached to the mainline station, is on the red line and four stops south of Ploshchad Vosstaniya, in the very centre of the city. The only recommended hotel within walking distance of the station is the Azimut Hotel .

Ecolines This Latvian firm currently operates bus services to St. Petersburg direct from Vilnius, Tallinn, Riga, Kiev and Odessa, although their huge network of services means that if you choose to travel by coach to St. Petersburg from almost anywhere in Europe, there is a good chance you will arrive on an Ecolines bus. All Ecolines services arrive at and depart from the car park next to Vitebsk Station in the city centre. The station is served by Pushkinskaya and Zvenigorodskaya Metro Stations (on the red and purple lines respectively), and is a short walk from the Fifth Corner Hotel , the Asteria Hotel , the Brothers Karamazov Hotel , and the Neptun Hotel .

Savonlinja While there is a huge number of companies offering bus transport to/from Helsinki and other Finnish towns, this Finnish company is probably the easiest for non-Russians to find, and is particularly attractive for its timetabled daily services to St. Petersburg from Lappeenranta Airport. The morning service stops in front of the Moscow Hotel , next to Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo Metro Station (on the orange and green lines) at the eastern end of Nevsky Prospekt, while the evening service ends up in the far south of St. Petersburg next to the Park Inn Pulkovskaya just over five minutes' walk from Moskovskaya Metro Station (head straight up Moskovsky Prospekt from the hotel), on the blue line and seven stops south of Nevsky Prospekt.

Oklahoma State Football Coach Mike Gundy Lists $8M Home—One of the State’s Priciest

Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy is making big real estate waves.

The Cowboys boss has listed his massive ranch-style home in Stillwater, OK , for a whopping $8 million.

That price makes it one of the most expensive properties on the market in Oklahoma . It’s also the priciest home in this college town—by far. The runner-up is priced at $3,375,000 in a town where the median list price is a very modest $275,000.

According to local reports , Gundy decided to list the place because the 110-acre property is “just a lot for two people.”

Indeed, the luxe interior with six bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and more than 13,850 square feet probably feels pretty cavernous.

While the scale of the grounds feels ranchlike, the home’s interior design gives off hunting-lodge vibes. The rooms are decked out with antler chandeliers, animal-print upholstery, and rough-hewn beams and columns made from tree trunks. Rustic and warm, the vaulted, two-story great room features a huge stone fireplace and large windows, along with wood floors and ceilings.

West Coast coach Adam Simpson says first-year star Harley Reid was already “flagging” when he delivered his stunning derby performance and was well due for a rest this weekend.

Simpson said the No.1 pick was eager to follow his exploits against Fremantle by travelling to face Gold Coast on Sunday but “understood” the club’s decision to put him on ice.

The 19-year-old has instead been permitted to return home to northern Victoria this weekend to visit his family.

The decision will dent the Eagles’ chances of snatching three consecutive wins for the first time since May 2021, but Simpson said it was more important to protect Reid from injury.

“We’ve made a decision looking at the bigger picture,” Simpson said on Friday.

“We’re going to miss (Reid) … but doing the right thing by the kid is also our priority.”

Simpson said Reid’s “metrics” had shown the Eagles strength and conditioning staff he was in need of a break after playing significant minutes in their first six matches.

“I think he was pretty keen to play (against Gold Coast), but he also understood the situation,” Simpson said.

“He was just flagging a little bit with his body – with the metrics we measure our players on each week it slowly decreased the last couple of weeks.”

“We’ve made a decision looking at the bigger picture. We’re going to miss him … but doing the right thing by the kid is also our priority.”

Simpson said he thought premiership forward Liam Ryan would be “nervous” in his comeback after repeat serious hamstring injuries

Ryan, 27, is contracted until the end of 2026, but has not played since round 3 last season due to a horror run of soft tissue injuries.

He has played two WAFL games including time spent at halfback in a bid to manage his return to senior level.

“I think he’s nervous. It’s been a while. We’ll manage him through the game … we’ll look after him with some minutes,” Simpson said.

The Dragons scored first but then watched the Roosters run in 10 tries, all of which were converted by Sam Walker as the young halfback put on a clinic.

"I couldn't wait until it finished, to be honest," Flanagan said after the game.

"We didn't start too bad, then we tried to make some stuff up - there was a pass from Zac (Lomax) and (the Roosters) scored, then they scored quickly again.

"They were coming off the back fence and we couldn't handle them.

"They've got some good athletes, and we came down to Earth with a thud.

"They are all terribly disappointed because it is a big occasion.

"The Roosters came off the back fence and won all the collisions, won all the contests on the ground, ran faster, ran harder, and their two halves played in dinner suits."

Flanagan was on a high after beating the Warriors in round seven, but conceded the team regressed badly just a week later.

"We are terribly disappointed, and that's not the Dragons," he said.

"You saw last week what the Dragons can do... we hit the ground with a big thud today."

Thursday's game could not have started much worse for the Dragons.

They kicked off, and then centre Moses Suli was knocked out trying to tackle Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves immediately.

Dragons skipper Ben Hunt admitted the atmosphere dropped after that incident.

"You get a bit down on it, definitely," Hunt said.

"That early in the game, first play of the game, you lose one of your most powerful players. But you've got to get on with it."

The Dragons take on the Sharks on Sunday week.

Miles Russell, 15, ready for TOUR-sanctioned debut at LECOM Suncoast Classic

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – Miles Russell is too young for a driver’s license, but he outdrove his playing partners with ease Tuesday at the LECOM Suncoast Classic.

Russell, the world’s top-ranked junior golfer, will make his PGA TOUR-sanctioned debut this week on a sponsor exemption, roughly a four-hour drive from his hometown of Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Russell, 15, is a high-school freshman who began online schooling in eighth grade. The smooth-swinging left-hander got ahead on coursework in recent days (classes include geometry, Earth science, world history and geography) so he can focus on competing at Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course. This isn’t a ceremonial start, as Russell has displayed high-end talent and skill across a schedule of big-time junior golf events. He surpassed Tiger Woods last fall as the youngest AJGA Boys Junior Player of the Year, and he nearly Monday qualified for the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open last month – falling in a playoff for the final spot.

A junior star’s first TOUR-sanctioned start becomes a time capsule in future years. Jordan Spieth finished T16 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in 2010 (at age 16), and a 17-year-old Scottie Scheffler finished T22 at the same event four years later. Both, like Russell, are past AJGA Players of the Year and made their TOUR-sanctioned debut in their home state. The youthful energy radiates across time, and Russell looks forward to a similar experience this week in Florida.

“I don’t know what to expect, but I’d love to make the cut and who knows, maybe have a good weekend and see where it puts me,” Russell said Tuesday.

Russell was introduced to golf at age 2 by his dad and grandpa, “whacking it around the house … and it’s been history ever since,” he said. “Took me out to the course and went through a bucket of balls in 3 minutes, and it was just fun.”

Russell played baseball and soccer in his formative years, but he eased those sports back to focus on golf – he still enjoys some pickleball and tennis at times, but golf is his purest sporting love. He first attended THE PLAYERS Championship at age 2 (TPC Sawgrass is just 10 minutes from home) and said he’s attended that event as a fan each year since.

“I’ve always wanted to be able to do it," Russell said of eventually pursuing professional golf. "To have the chance to do it would be even cooler, and then to be able to do it would be awesome. I think it would just be cool to do something I love, and there’s not much more I love than this.”

His resume suggests he’s poised to do just that.

Russell was named the 2023 AJGA Player of the Year on Nov. 2 (a day after turning 15) in a year that included winning the Junior PGA Championship (by seven strokes), Junior PLAYERS Championship (carding a second-round 66 at TPC Sawgrass’ PLAYERS Stadium Course, en route to becoming the event’s youngest winner) and representing the United States at the Junior Ryder Cup.

Russell has worked with instructor Ramon Bescansa, whom he describes as both a swing coach and a skills coach, since age 6 or 7. Bescansa, a former Korn Ferry Tour member, will caddie for his student in his Korn Ferry Tour debut.

When asked about TOUR player comparisons that come to mind, Bescansa mentioned reigning Open champion Brian Harman, noting their elite hands, short game and intuition.

“He was already incredible when I first started working with him,” Bescansa said of Russell. “He had a golf IQ that’s not normal for such a young age. It’s been so much fun. I was able to not only help him with his swing, but teaching him how to play golf, play all the shots; he already had a huge understanding and he was like a sponge, a lot of teaching was done with him and a club, and try to do it.”

Russell says he’s more of a feel player than technical, and his instructor concurs. Bescansa said a large part of their work relates to tempo and being synced up. That will become especially paramount as Russell’s body continues to change.

“He’s only 15 and he’s still growing; every time I see him, he’s hitting it farther,” said Bescansa, noting that Russell has reached 112-113 mph of swing speed (which will likely increase in future years).

Russell made waves in the professional golf sphere by narrowly missing at Puerto Rico Open’s Monday qualifier, as he made bogey at No. 18 before falling in a 4-for-1 playoff won by Korn Ferry Tour member Evan Harmeling. (Harmeling proceeded to top-10 in Puerto Rico, his first TOUR start, to earn a spot in the Valspar Championship.)

In a twist, Russell and Harmeling often compete in chipping competitions around their hometown Atlantic Beach Country Club – Russell also often tests his skills against TOUR pros Vince Covello, Raul Pereda, Russell Knox, Philip Knowles and others. Being around professional golfers has accelerated Russell’s development into a world-class junior player, concurred Russell and his instructor, befitting of Russell’s “sponge” ethos.

That was also the case Tuesday, when Russell played an 18-hole practice round with veteran pros Roberto Diaz, Sam Saunders and Rob Oppenheim – who finished runner-up at the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Country Club earlier this month. (After being informed that Russell was the No. 1-ranked junior, Oppenheim quipped that if he wasn’t No. 1, that could foreshadow trouble for veteran pros at large.) Those three have combined for 907 starts between the PGA TOUR and Korn Ferry Tour.

Russell might embody the game’s future, but his veteran playing partners didn’t shy away from offering instruction in the present. On the par-4 11th tee, the group discussed how the hole might play in certain wind directions and various angles to consider on the short par 4 that could become drivable on a downwind day. As they strode up the fairway, Diaz shared nuances and a perspective accrued through a 15-year pro career.

“These guys have been great,” Russell said. “Certainly watching what they’ve doing; asked them some questions … they’ve kind of been showing me some secrets.”

Russell also spent some time at THE PLAYERS last month with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, whom he said “was such a nice guy and such a great guy.” Scheffler famously debuted at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in 2014, finishing T22 with his sister Callie on the bag – and making a hole-in-one in the third round.

“Scheffler sounded like a PGA TOUR veteran Sunday, analyzing his experience and making a mental checklist of everything he wants to fix,” wrote ESPN at the time.

Russell too sounded like a veteran Tuesday discussing his week ahead, his quiet confidence backed up by his laundry list of accomplishments. The No. 1 junior wasn’t in the business of making bold proclamations, but he projected a sense of expectation to compete this week. When asked about highlight golf moments so far, he mentioned the Junior Ryder Cup and holing out on the 72nd hole at the Junior PGA Championship, but also …

“Maybe we’ll make one this week,” he said after completing Tuesday’s practice round, as he headed to the range for some further work. “Who knows?”
