Isabella Cruise Marries in Secret Wedding, but Where Were Parents Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman?

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman 's daughter Isabella Cruise married her Brit IT consultant boyfriend Max Parker last month—and while she was joined by brother Connor, neither of her parents were there to witness the happy occasion.

"The wedding happened a couple of weeks ago, on Sept. 18," a source told Us Weekly . "And was a super low-key, small ceremony. Connor was there but both Tom and Nicole were not." Their big day reportedly went down at the Dorchester Hotel in Central London.

Australian weekly Woman's Day has pictures form the nuptials, which show the bride wearing a high-neck three-quarter-sleeve lace mini dress , and what appear to be her bridesmaids in oh-so-chic peach jumpsuits.

TMZ is reporting that the groom's parents also didn't make the guest list—instead the couple opted to swap vows in the presence of just a few close friends. They are reporting that Tom footed the bill for their big day, however, and that Max and Bella spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas with her father.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman 's daughter, 22, shocked the world afte r Us Weekly confirmed that she had married Parker in a hush-hush ceremony in the British city. "The wedding happened a couple of weeks ago, on Sept. 18," a source told Us at the time. "And was a super low-key, small ceremony. Connor was there but both Tom and Nicole were not."

The insider added that the Hollywood scion "really didn't want to make a big deal out of it," and hosted a "very, very informal" reception.

Their outdoor excursion this weekend marked the first time that the pair have been spotted since their bombshell wedding news. For the occasion, Bella was dressed casually in black tights, a matching sweater, and a skirt printed with astrology graphics. She accessorized her outfit with shades and, of course, her new wedding band as she was snapped gazing adoringly at her new husband.

Parker, an IT consultant, looked amused as he walked through the streets of London in a white printed tee, black jeans, and his thin wedding band on his left ring finger.

"I had always wondered why they didn't have a relationship with their mom, but I could never ask them, because there was always someone else around," Remini wrote, recalling an incident after Tom Cruise's 2006 wedding to Katie Holmes . "Driving to the airport alone with them, I had my chance."

According to Remini, Bella had an interesting choice of words when she was asked whether she still saw her mother.

"'Not if I have a choice,' Bella, then 13, said at the time. 'Our mom is a f–king SP.’”

Beaming with confidence in the photograph above , the 22-year-old bride looked beautiful in white.

The adopted daughter of Tom and Nicole did away with a traditional gown and opted for a Sixties-inspired long-sleeved, white lace mini-dress.

Sitting atop of a simple slip was an intricate high-neck baby doll dress, while the cropped sleeves let her tattoos shine through.

Bella glowed with fresh, natural-looking make-up and her svelte figure stole the show after she recently shed ten-kilograms.

She finished off her look with a windswept, brunette pixie cut – a return to her natural shade after experimenting with purple and platinum blonde locks.

Joining the bride on her special day were her four bridesmaids, fellow graduates from the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, where Bella recently studied hairdressing.

Nicole Kidman is thrilled her eldest daughter has found love.

The girls looked feminine yet modern in blush-pink jumpsuits, which allowed the bride’s ensemble to truly pop.

Although the bridesmaids all wore the same outfit, each pal put put their own unique spin on their look.

Nicole’s daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise wed the love of her life, British IT consultant Max Parker, in a secret ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel in central London last month.

While Max isn’t a Scientologist like his wife, many of their close friends are, with Max working only a few kilometres away from the religion’s west Sussex HQ.

Way back when: Tom Cruise and his then-wife, Nicole Kidman, spend time with their children Connor and Isabella in 1996. During their marriage, the couple adopted their two children.

The private 22-year-old chose to share her day with a small group of friends, keen not to trigger a swarm of photographers that her high profile parents may attract.

During their 11-year marriage Nicole and Tom adopted Connor, now 20, and Bella.

In a recent interview with DuJour the mum-of-four, who shares two daughters with husband Keith Urban, spoke about her children and revealed she keeps in touch with Bella and Connor.

“I have four children, so to stay in touch with them it’s very important. I’m definitely engaged in [texting] but I don’t let it rule my life,” Nicole explained to the publication.

Bella Cruise has secret wedding without Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman

Isabella Cruise has high-profile parents, but she is one low-key bride.

The 22-year-old adopted daughter of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, who goes by Bella, wed IT consultant Max Parker in September, reports Us Weekly.

"The wedding happened a couple of weeks ago, on Sept. 18," a source told Us. "And was a super low-key, small ceremony." Bella's parents didn't attend the nuptials, and there are conflicting reports about whether her younger brother, Connor, 20, was there.

The source added: "Bella really didn't want to make a big deal out of it. There wasn't even any sort of official reception as was very, very informal."

Another source told Us that the bride and groom wed in a conference room that was decorated with flowers; guests then moved onto the dining area for dinner.

People reports that Tom supports the marriage and paid for the wedding.

Bella got married in a white lace mini-dress and was accompanied by her bridesmaids, whom she met at the Vidal Sassoon Academy.

Why Wasn't Tom Cruise Invited To Isabella Jane And Max Parker's Wedding?

It was a surprise to the world when Isabella Jane tied the knot with Max Parker in a secret ceremony at the luxurious Dorchester Hotel in London in 2015.

According to Woman's Day Magazine, the couple exchanged vows in a small function room within the hotel, located in the exclusive Mayfair district near Hyde Park.

However, the real shocker was that neither Tom Cruise nor Nicole Kidman attended the wedding, which fueled rumors that Isabella was estranged from her parents. But as per The Mirror, Tom knew about the wedding and even covered the expenses . His absence at the wedding was just attributed to his busy schedule.

Isabella, who goes by Bella now, and Max had a Scientology wedding, as she was raised in the Church of Scientology, with her father being one of its most prominent members. It was a minimal wedding with only a few close friends in attendance, and neither set of parents was invited.

According to People, Tom was cool with the couple's decision to keep the nuptials private. Bella's brother, Connor, was also not in attendance.

When asked by Daily Mail if it was tough not having his famous father-in-law walk Bella down the aisle, Parker replied affirmatively and added, "It is what it is." Parker’s parents, Beverly and Lester, also did not attend the wedding to avoid media attention. "We didn't go, but we knew all about it. We stayed away. We didn't want the media circus," Beverly stated.

Beverly was happy for the couple and said that Bella was the happiest she had ever been since finding love with their son, Max. Beverly and Lester are yet to meet Cruise and Kidman, and they see no need for it. "No, no, there's no need for that. At the end of the day, they're just people, aren't they?"

The wedding guest list was limited to close friends, with most relatives uninvited and unaware of the event. Bella and Max's decision to keep the wedding low-key was respected, and they continue to live happily ever after.

Does Tom Cruise Get Along With Son-In-Law Max Parker?

According to sources close to the family, Tom Cruise has given his seal of approval to his daughter’s husband, Max Parker, despite not being a member of the Church of Scientology himself.

"Tom approves of Max and is fine with it," a source told People. While Max confirmed via Daily Mail that he is not a Scientologist, he said his wife, Bella remains an active member.

Despite some reports claiming that Tom's absence at the wedding was due to Max's non-Scientologist status, other sources insist that Tom and Max have a good relationship. In fact, Max and Bella spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together with the actor.

In an interview with Daily Mail Online, Parker said he did not ask Cruise's permission to propose to Bella, but the couple insists that Tom and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman have embraced him.

The couple even rejected any financial support from Bella's parents, who are worth an estimated $600 million combined. "I'm still a regular guy," Max says, explaining that he and Bella value their independence and prefer to live their lives away from the spotlight. "It's more [of a] weird [situation] for everyone else."

While the exact reason for their divorce in 2001 is uncertain, Kidman's departure from Scientology is believed to play a significant role. Tom Cruise is deeply committed to the group, which has been known to excommunicate anyone who leaves, regardless of their status.

Despite being a well-known actress, Kidman has never been involved with Scientology, which has led some to speculate that her children from her marriage to Cruise remained distant from her. And Bella Cruise, who quietly married IT consultant Max Parker in London last month, is intent on carving out her own path in life, opting to begin married life in the working class suburb of Croydon.

Woman's Day reports the 22-year-old has settled into conjugal life in a quiet corner of the south London city - the birth place of model Kate Moss - after shunning the glitz and glamour of her formative years.

Bella's new environs has been home for more than 20 years to her husband's family; his father is a test pilot at Gatwick Airport, while his mother works as an antiques restorer.

The sprawling city is a far cry from smart SW7 where Bella lived in London with her father Tom paying her rent.

And indeed with its towering blocks and sprawling estates, it's a world from her formative years growing up in Tom's rambling Los Angeles mansion after he split from second wife Nicole.

Red head Bella reportedly married Max last month in a Scientologist ceremony at The Dorchester hotel in London.

But her mother Nicole Kidman, 48, was not among those celebrating the wedding.

Indeed, only a handful of friends were present for the marriage and afterwards, the men in the party retired to the roof terrace with brandy and cigars, while the women posed for pictures with a bunch of white balloons.

Then came the reception — an alcohol-fuelled party held in a trendy Shoreditch bar, apparently paid for by her actor father, Tom Cruise.

Woman's Day reports that Nicole, who was in London preparing for her West End stage role as British scientist Rosalind Franklin but not at the wedding, is concerned for her daughter's new home, in an area which has a reputation for high crime.

The publication states: 'Nicole was thrilled by news of Bella's nuptials, despite wishing she could have attended but she is said to be worried about her adoptive daughter's residence in one of London's least desirable suburbs.'

All grown up and looking good!   Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman 's daughter Isabella "Bella" Kidman Cruise  stays mainly out of the spotlight, but is known for sharing the rare photo on social media. Over the years, Bella has showcased her edgy style on Instagram, complete with a septum nose ring, and given followers some major hair updates when she deicides to change things up.

Who Is Bella Kidman Cruise?

The celebrity kid, was born in 1992 and is Tom and Nicole's eldest adopted child. The former couple also adopted their son, Connor , during their 11-year marriage , which came to an end in 2001.  

While she doesn't always post photos of herself, fans love to get a rare glimpse of Bella. "In rainbows," she captioned a selfie from March 2022. Nearly a year later, Bella showed off her new hair look via Instagram Stories with a rare post.

"I can see now, for Lion , that it was important to me because I'm a mother with adopted children," the actress told  Vanity Fair  in 2016, revealing how her movie role at the time connected with her on another level. "This movie is a love letter to my children."  

She continued, "[My character] Sue is deeply maternal and full of unconditional love, which is beautiful. That's why I wanted to do it. I relate to that. I feel that for my own children who are adopted. It's not about anything else other than, 'I wanted you.' It's that deep and personal, and whatever your journey is, I'm here to love and support you. That's what I connected to."

Tom Cruise Approves of Daughter Isabella Cruise's New Husband Max Parker

Tom Cruise is "totally totally fine" with daughter Isabella's recent wedding – and even paid for the ceremony

He might not have walked his daughter down the aisle, but Tom Cruise is nonetheless one proud papa.

A source says the Mission Impossible star is happy about his daughter Isabella Cruise ‘s marriage to I.T. consultant Max Parker – and even paid for the wedding .

“Tom approves of Max and is totally, totally fine with it,” a source tells PEOPLE.

Isabella, 22, swapped vows with Parker on Sept. 18 at the Dorchester Hotel in London in an affair that only included a small group of close friends. Neither Tom Cruise nor Isabella’s mother, Nicole Kidman , were present at the wedding, a decision that allowed the couple to keep the nuptials more low-key and private.

“None of the parents were invited, and Tom was totally cool with it,” says the source. “Tom did pay for the ceremony.” Isabella’s brother Connor wasn’t at the wedding, either.

According to Woman’s Day magazine, which first reported news of the wedding , the couple exchanged “I do’s” in a small function room within the luxurious five-star hotel located within London’s exclusive Mayfair district near Hyde Park.

Isabella, who recently graduated from West London’s Delamar Academy of Make-up and Hair, wore a simple thigh-length lace dress for the nuptials, per photos in Woman’s Day . Her one eye-popping accessory? A large diamond ring on her left hand.

The famous daughter reportedly chose four close pals to serve as bridesmaids, and one image shows the women wearing soft pink jumpsuits as they flank the smiling bride as oversized bubbles float behind them. (The groomsmen, meanwhile, mugged for the camera while holding Brandy snifters and cigars.)

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests reportedly retreated to the newlyweds’ lavish ninth-floor suite for drinks before enjoying a sumptuous three-course meal.

The magazine reports Isabella met her new husband through work and the couple favor a fun, low-key lifestyle out of the limelight. The pair have been dating for less than a year.

It was a Scientology wedding, with both Bella and Max - along with Bella's younger brother Connor, 28, following the religion, just like Tom.

While Nicole is incredibly private when it comes to talking about her family life, particularly her oldest two children, she previously opened up about Bella and Connor following Scientology. 

The  Big Little Lies star was previously asked about her children's decision to follow the church, telling The Sun in 2019: "Motherhood is about the journey. There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love. "They have made choices to be Scientologists. It’s our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love."

Tom and Nicole adopted Bella and younger brother Connor during their 11-year marriage, which lasted from 1990 until 2001. 

They both went on to welcome more children with new partners. Tom shares daughter Suri Cruise, 17, with ex-wife Katie Holmes, while Nicole shares daughters Sunday, 15, and Faith, 12, with husband Keith Urban .

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Nicole opened up about motherhood. She said: "[I do] not have a big social life. I have my work, I have my family, I have my own inner landscape that I explore. I choose that probably more than I choose to be out partying." 

While Bella has never spoken out in public about her relationship with her famous parents, she has occasionally liked Nicole's posts on social media, and was pictured wearing a retro Top Gun T-shirt back in May last year, as she went on a walk around London. 

Meanwhile, Nicole previously opened up about Bella feeling at home in London while chatting to Vanity Fair. “Bella lives just outside London,” she said. 

“You know, she really feels more English. We lived there for Eyes Wide Shut, Mission Impossible, and The Portrait of a Lady. They both had English accents when they were little.”

Nicole Kidman  has been enjoying some time away from home this week, having swapped Australia for the UK, where her adopted  daughter Isabella 'Bella' Cruise lives.

The award-winning actress was pictured in a star-studded selfie posted on Instagram on Monday night, enjoying an evening with her good friend Naomi Watts in London's West End.

The pair went to watch Sarah Snook perform in The Picture of Dorian Gray , and Nicole looked incredibly fresh-faced and youthful as she posed backstage with her famous friends.

The mother-of-four wore her strawberry blond hair styled in a neat chignon with tendrils of hair framing her face.

She opted for a natural makeup look, and looked effortlessly stylish dressed in an oversized checked blazer.

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital

There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.

How to find the right boat?

There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.

Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.

This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.

Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such  option  offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).

If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.

Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.

How to buy tickets?

Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.

“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!”  wrote  (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.

Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.

Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.

Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.

Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as  this   offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.

This  website  (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other  website  sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.

Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.

“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.

There are two main boarding piers in the city center:  Hotel Ukraine  and  Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.

Where to sit onboard?

Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.

The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.

Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.

There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.
