Best. Band. Ever.

Their energy is so awesome and they take the time to meet everyone after the show instead of selling meet&greet tickets. Such a lovely people!

One of the best gigs in my life

The sound was like on record. Jason screams as God and make very good work with the crowd! And it is seen that for so many years the band have no star fever and stay very close to their fans.

THE shit. That was downright amazing. The atmosphere was super energetic and just - I can't even put this into words. Just that much: Best concert of my life so far.

Bury Tomorrow Share “Boltcutter” Video/Band Announces U.S. Headline Tour

Keith Clement

BURY TOMORROW SHARE “BOLTCUTTER” VIDEO —  WATCH THE SEVENTH SUN  OUT MARCH 31 VIA MUSIC FOR NATIONS U.S. HEADLINE TOUR SET FOR SPRING 2023

British metal sextet  Bury Tomorrow  have shared the video for new single “ Boltcutter ,” another crushing taste of their forthcoming seventh album, the aptly titled  The Seventh Sun . Watch the video  here  and  here .

The record will be released on March 31 via  Music For Nations . Pre-order or pre-save it  here .

Lead guitarist  Kristan Dawson  says, “From the second we put the finishing touches to ‘Boltcutter,’ we knew it had to be a single. Whilst it is a fundamental Bury Tomorrow track, being both loud and heavy, it also emphasises the new era of our band. Specifically, it highlights influences we haven’t necessarily channelled through Bury Tomorrow before, and it’s a pleasure to continue to expand the possibilities of our music. It began its existence through Tom crafting the foundations of the track with an ambient and electronic soundscape, before the rest of the band provided their usual expertise.”

The accompanying video was once again created in collaboration with director  Matt Sears , who directed its prequel,   “ Abandon Us ,” in the guise of a horror-inspired, two-part short film. This time around, the fate of the protagonist is irreversibly established in the heavy-hitting and thought-provoking video.

Speaking on the process and continuing collaboration, Dawson enthuses, “Continuing the visual narrative with video director Matt Sears was an absolute joy, and thanks to his knowledge of horror and unique filmmaking skills, ‘Boltcutter’ delivers the perfect sequel to ‘Abandon Us.’ It’s another video with a visceral and confronting nature, and we feel it perfectly represents the song and its themes.” The release of “Boltcutter” coincides with the band nearing the end of their momentous tour across the UK and Europe, which saw their most extensive routing since pre-pandemic, selling more than 35,000 tickets, with multiple dates completely sold out, and also being able to preview the new single on each night of the tour. Dawson expands on this by stating, “Considering its weighty riffs and catchy dual vocal hooks, we also knew that ‘Boltcutter’ was going to be an undeniable addition to future setlists. And for those who have attended recent shows on our tour, they will have already had a sneak preview. We’ve loved being able to preview a single release like this with our fans, and it seems that it has already made an impact with team BT and we can’t wait for the rest of our wonderful community to hear it.”

Additionally, the band has announced its Spring 2023 headline tour of North America. All dates are below. Tickets go on sale on on Friday, December 1. Get tickets  here .

The tour marks the first time the band has toured North American since 2010 and it is a welcome return!

bury tomorrow tour 2022

It’s never too late to be what you might have been. Sometimes you just need a push to take the plunge. Few people would be greater advocates for this truth than Bury Tomorrow.

Faced 18 months ago, following a period of external and internal strife, with the very real reality that it might be time to pack up their successes and close the book on a storied career of 15 years, with their hands forced and backs to the wall Bury Tomorrow instead picked up fate’s gauntlet and set about writing the chapter they had always imagined.

The Seventh Sun  stands as testament to the bonds and belief required to shape themselves a new reality, a new sound, and a new future.

If standalone singles “Death (Ever Colder)” and “Life (Paradise Denied),” released little over a month apart earlier this year, gave a first glimpse at what lay in store, then  The Seventh Sun  amounts to the glorious arrival at a destination in this new era. Not Bury Tomorrow’s final destination, either, you must understand, but one that both perfectly encapsulates their revivified present while offering further tantalizing hints at an unwritten future.

This is no beast tamed, but rather one with its teeth and claws sharpened, intent on killing with targeted precision rather than with overwhelming bludgeoning. Refocused yet no more restrained,  The Seventh Sun ‘s expanded sonic palette platforms sky-high melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.

We have taken our new album all over the world in 2023 and cannot wait to bring it bigger, louder and more expansive than ever in Jan/Feb 2024 as we kick off the new year.   We will be bringing Metalcore giants ‘We Came As Romans’ and groundbreaking upstarts ‘Kingdom of Giants’ to support, and we could not be more excited to bring this show to you. Playing in venues we’ve not visited in years and cities we’ve longed to get back to, you do not want to miss out. Come join us on our next chapter.

Tickets on general sale from Sept 27th at 10AM   It’s never too late to be what you might have been. Sometimes you just need a push to take the plunge. Few people would be greater advocates for this truth than Bury Tomorrow.   Faced two years ago, following a period of external and internal strife, with the very real reality that it might be time to pack up their successes and close the book on a storied career of 15 years, with their hands forced and backs to the wall Bury Tomorrow instead picked up fate’s gauntlet and set about writing the chapter they had always imagined.   The Seventh Sun stands as testament to the bonds and belief required to shape themselves a new reality, a new sound, and a new future.   Refocused yet no more restrained, The Seventh Sun’s expanded sonic palette platforms sky-high melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.   The thematic threads weaved through The Seventh Sun are met in kind by a throughline that musically stitches together each of its 12 tracks – an idea that Kristan Dawson (guitar) has sought to execute for years. “Every single song sets up the next part of the record,” he reveals. “I wanted it to feel like a one long body of work.” In doing so, the album takes on its own kind its own sonic storytelling. “I feel like I was musically at where Dan was at lyrically,” Dawson suggests.   All of this combines, as Winter-Bates asserts, to exhibit “the best version of Bury Tomorrow people will have heard.” Positivity, and possibility, now seems boundless, where not so long ago doubts persisted. “That is as much to do with Tom (Prendergast – keys/vocals) and Ed (Hartwell – guitar) joining the band as it is about the rest of us,” Dawson notes. “I think we’d convinced ourselves at times that we weren’t friends, when actually, we’re family. You can’t have this sort of life experience and not be and not be as emotionally connected to each other as we are.”   The guitarist points to the album’s numerical title. “You know, there is something in the number seven that is very representative of change.

There’s a renewal aspect to it – seven days in a week, seven hells, and so forth. And on our seventh album, that’s the case for us, too. I hope fans hear how much we appreciate the opportunity we have to make music for them.

It’s an opportunity for us to showcase our love for, put our stamp on, and represent UK metal. What a privilege that is for us, and we’re ready to prove that we’re doing everything for those right reasons.

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Please remember that of all these tours are private and can be adjusted to your taste. You can add, replace or skip some sights; you can add more days to the package or cut the tour short. Our specialists will be glad to help you create the tour of your dreams!

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.

Draws & Fades: Scottie Scheffler sets up a second Masters title at Augusta National

Draws and Fades

Change Text Size

He’s not first. But chances are he will be.

Scheffler trailed only former U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau, who set the early pace with a clever 65, giving the duo a gap on the field when darkness halted play.

A two-and-a-half-hour weather delay thanks to heavy overnight rains meant 27 players failed to finish the first round and will return early Friday to continue.

European Ryder Cupper Nicolai Højgaard had made a late surge to be 5-under through 15 holes while Englishman Danny Willett, the 2016 champion, sat fourth after a 4-under 68.

Max Homa, who previously has been a non-factor at the Masters, sat nicely poised at 4-under through 13 holes.

Ryan Fox, Cam Davis and Tyrrell Hatton (through 14) shared sixth at 3-under.

Scottie Scheffler’s comments after Round 1 of Masters

Play returns at 7:50 a.m. local time to resume the opening round with the second round kicking off at 8 a.m. While the rains should be gone for the week, the wind will remain Friday.

“Winds of 15-20 gusting 25-30 mph will continue this evening before weakening to 12-15 gusting to 20-25 mph overnight,” the Masters weather report says. “Drier air will overspread the region early tomorrow morning allowing skies to clear before daybreak Friday morning.

“Slightly cooler and less humid conditions return Friday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s. It will continue to be windy out of the west 15-20 gusting to 30 mph throughout the day. After a cool start Saturday morning, temperatures will rebound nicely this weekend with highs in the upper 70s Saturday and low to mid 80s on Sunday with plentiful sunshine.”

Scheffler’s second round isn’t due to start until 1:48p.m. local, but the winds are still expected to be an issue at that time, in fact they could be a little stronger in the afternoon. You can’t bank on this though as the gusts are forecast all day and many a Masters has come and gone when expected winds die off.

If there is an avenue to exploit betting wise, it is gambling on who of the players still on course might be able to climb up the leaderboard on their remaining holes.

Here are the latest odds via BetMGM Sportsbook.

  • +150: Scottie Scheffler (6-under, second)
  • +600: Bryson DeChambeau (7-under, first)
  • +1600: Rory McIlroy (1-under, T17)
  • +1600: Max Homa (4-under thru 13, T4)
  • +2200: Ludvig Åberg (2-under thru 11, T9)
  • +2500: Brooks Koepka (E thru 11, T32)
  • +2800: Joaquin Niemann (2-under, T9)
  • +2800: Tyrrell Hatton (3-under thru 14, T6)
  • +3000: Tommy Fleetwood (2-under thru 10, T9)
  • +3300: Will Zalatoris (2-under, T9)
  • +3300: Nicolai Højgaard (5-under thru 15, thirrd)

Scottie Scheffler (+150, second)

OK, look. I’m not about to tell you to go throw the house on a +150 proposition with 54 holes left to play but the reality is it will be strange if Scheffler does not win this tournament from here. He was his usual ball-striking self despite the winds and even when he looked in trouble – like in the back bunker on hole 12 – he duly chipped in. When it looked like he found Rae’s creek on 13, he stayed dry, and made birdie. With those breaks coming along with his sublime play that has seen him finish 1-1-2 in his last three starts, the 2022 Masters champion is clearly the man to beat.

Ludvig Åberg (+2200, T9)

The super Swede has a great chance to make a run up the leaderboard early Friday but there is a HUGE caveat. He must find dry land with his first swing of the day, which will come at the tough par-3 12th in possibly very tricky winds. The Masters and major championship rookie dodged the bullet of playing it in Thursday evenings swirling gusts but they could be there in the morning, along with cooler temperatures. If he gets through the 12th he can attack the par-5 13th and 15th holes and even the funnel pin on the par-3 16th to make a run.

Max Homa (+1600, T4)

Just like Åberg, Homa has a chance to make another birdie or two on the back nine when play resumes. If he can muster that, he will have the confidence to stretch it further in the second round. Having never bruised a grape in prior Masters appearances – a T43 last year his best result – Homa can bury the demons in one quick rush. He’s never shot in the 60s here before, if he can now, we could finally see the real Homa on the major scene. Of course, this could also be reason to fade him… which as it turns out, is a reason I’m fading others…

Bryson DeChambeau (+550, first)

As good as DeChambeau was on Thursday I can’t help but think it’s an outlier of a round given his history at Augusta National. His 65 was his career best in his 25th round on the storied course, besting a 66 he had to open in 2019. But it was just his fourth round in the 60s here, and even in 2019, where he was a co-leader after 18 holes, he bombed all the way back to T29 in the final washup. He hasn’t finished higher than T21, which he managed on debut as an amateur in 2016. He does have the benefit of not being due out for his second round for some time, perhaps getting a feel for the conditions by watching coverage.

Rory McIlroy (+1600, T17)

Rory McIlroy on Tiger Woods stating the Northern Irishman will win Masters

History shows you need to be in the top 11 at the completion of round one and its trending towards McIlroy not being there. With that, and the erratic rollercoaster golf he played Thursday (three bogeys, four birdies), plus the Grand Slam pressure on his shoulders… I need to see much higher odds for a win. You could see him make another run to a backdoor top five though…
