Taking Glass Bottom Boat Tours in Cabo with us, is like those "Relaxation Tapes" you can listen from time to time to imagine a nice experience; except, this is for real! Plus, the breeze actually gets you a little wet and cool!

At Rancho Tours we enjoy so much offering this tour to you and all our clients, because we know you will have a great experience. Nothing like salty, fresh wind with a beautiful landscape as a background.

During this tour we'll visit the famous rock formation at Land's End "The Arch" and we'll also visit the Sea Lion's Colony, The Pelican Rock, Neptune Finger, Lover's and Divorce Beach. Look at the banks of fish that swim under our boats with the clear glass bottoms we have installed in them. We will also enjoy great views from distance from a famous residential area at Pedregal's hill-mountain, located by the Pacific Ocean side. A Cabo San Lucas bay view can be appreciated on the return to the marina.

Glass Bottom Boat tours are scheduled to departure every hour, once the tour is over, you'll have the option to get off the boat and stay at Lover's Beach and Divorce Beach the time you want to enjoy a walk, go for a swim, or take a sunbath; then you can take back one of the boats later until the last trip we make.

Caution: Swimming by the Pacific side at Divorce Beach is not allowed.

*Lover's Beach is a unique two-sided beach out near El Arco. One side of the beach is lined by the Bahia de Cabo San Lucas where swimming and snorkelers enjoy the calm waters. The other side faces the Pacific Ocean, where the water is to rough for swimming, called Divorce Beach. The harbor master opens the beach daily and if the beach is opened you will add beach time. The sighting of marine fauna is subject to the season and weather conditions.

Please check your email and texts the day before and day of your tour. We will do all we can to reschedule the tour during your stay. If rescheduling is not possible during your stay, you will be refunded in full.

Just days ago it was reported that the Cabo San Lucas marina closed down with no notice to tour providers or tourists.   

The closing of the marina was due to an expired concession of the company that ran the marina, IGY Marina.   

That concession expired on April 1st, but it wasn’t until April 11th that the gates were locked without warning.   

Now the Cabo San Lucas marina has already reopened for tourist activities.   

How Tour Providers Were Notified Of The Marina's Closure   

According to reports, tour providers went to work on the morning of April 11th unaware that the marina would be shut down .   

It was only when an alarm sounded that morning and an announcement was made that boats would have to return to the marina and that the marina was closed that anyone knew what was going on.   

Little information was given as to why it was closed or when it would reopen.   

Limited Information On The Marina's Status  

Even now that the marina has reopened tour providers are still unsure about the status of the marina.   

It simply reopened, with no information provided regarding which company would be operating it for the foreseeable future.   

According to reports, a new concession was granted to the Navy by the Administration of the National Port System, also known as ASIPONA, but the status of the IGY Marina company is still unclear.   

The Future Of Cabo San Lucas's Marina  

Tour providers are able to access the marina with the same keys they held before closing, but it seems that only some docks are accessible.   

One tour provider said that they were told that "there was a conflict with IGY Marina that was not fixed 100%."   

Tourist Activities Offered At The Marina  

Boat tours and water activities are popular in Los Cabos, so there are many different types of tours available.   

Boats can also be chartered for fishing or sailing excursions.   

If you're looking for something a little less expensive, though, some of the tours and activities offered at the marina are snorkeling and diving excursions, dinner cruises, Arch and Land's End tours , party cruises, sunset cruises, pirate ship dinner shows, and glass bottom boat tours. 

How To Book Cabo San Lucas Boat Tours  

There are several ways to book a boat tour in Cabo San Lucas.   

The best way is to book in advance so that the tour you want doesn't sell out, which has been known to happen.   

You can book in advance by visiting the different tour company websites or through a third-party booking site like Viator , which has a great refund policy.   

You can also book tours once you arrive in Los Cabos; just be sure to book at an official kiosk in the marina and not with someone on the street claiming to be a tour operator.   

Water Activities That Can Be Booked Outside Of The Marina  

Some water activities can be booked without having to go to the marina.   

Activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet skiing can often be booked with a vendor on Medano Beach, Cabo San Lucas's most popular beach.   

As with anything else, though, shop around for the best price and be sure you're booking with a legitimate vendor.
