hop on brewery tour gold coast

Gold Coast Brewery Hop

Group booking only – minimum 8 maximum 21.

This Gold Coast Brewery Hop takes you to the Gold Coast (or we can pick you up at your Gold Coast accommodation) and takes you around to see local breweries – meet the brewers, get behind the scenes, taste their fresh brews, and hear how beer is made.   All organised for you! Beer, transport, food, and professional host included. We will pick you up  wherever you want in Brisbane (10km radius of  CBD) or  the Gold Coast (Sanctuary Cove to Burleigh Heads). Areas outside of these areas can be organised – just ring us.

Our first stop will be the popular   Lost Palms Brewing Company  .  This micro-brewery has some excellent freshly brewed beer. Expect a range of beers that highlight hop flavours, a seasonally changing stout poured on nitro and plenty of other interesting styles.  (* Tasting paddle included).

Feeling refreshed, thirst quenched from the drive, we will head off for a short drive to our second stop,  Precinct Brewin g . They have transformed an old workshop into the perfect space for catching up with mates, hosting community events, or just having a quiet one. In our case, hosting a group of friends. The interior blends polished concrete, grand open-air ceilings and transient artworks to create a brewery that is contemporary,  breezy and welcoming. One of our favourites! Plus what we have come for – the beers which are all brewed on the premises and regularly changing. Excellent range for you to taste.  (*  Light lunch and tasting paddle included).

Not far up the road we find the well-known  Burleigh Brewing  . Since it’s inception in 2006, Burleigh Brewing has won countless awards for both business and brewing. They have built a brand that is known and celebrated nationally and certainly helped to transform the Gold Coast’s independent craft brewing scene into one of the most vibrant and thriving in the country. The quality of the product will speak for itself.  (* Tasting paddle included).

Our final stop takes us to  Balter Brewery  . As they say  6 Aussies and a Yank walk into a bar and never come out … BALTER is born.  This is a cool place and we are sure it will be a great finish to the day. The quality beers won’t disappoint neither will the atmosphere. In their words  at “Balter, we’re all about celebrating that enjoyment with you, because beer is more than just a drink: it draws tribes together and is a companion to many great moments in life …. our #1 philosophy is that your taste buds come first.”.  (*Tasting paddle included).

For various reasons breweries may not be able to take us on the day and we reserve the right to be flexible with your itinerary and change venues without notice. Look things happen! But don’t worry there will still be plenty of beer and good times!

  • Aryn B 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Come Thirsty Outstanding way to check out the craft brewery scene in Gold Coast whether you are a beer aficionado or just like to try new things (I’d assume the Brisbane tour is equally well executed). Definitely come thirsty—the beer is flowing. And even come hungry—our lunch at a brewery + pizza spot was next level. Our guide/ the owner was SUPER knowledgeable, and passionate. This is absolutely the ideal job for him! Refreshing! The only tweak I’d make is to spend less time at the 4th brewery (or nix it) and do some sightseeing around the area, to get a better feel for the vibe. Or perhaps offer a version of the tour that is a brewery + food tour. Read more Written 25 November 2023

***WESTERN TOUR*** Great tour and day out. See some city breweries but also some bigger setups just outside the city so get the best of both worlds. Treated like royalty at every location due to what appeared to be the connection between hop on brewery tours and the breweries. Head brewers or the owner or both spoke to us or at the very least came and introduced themselves and availed themsleves for any question we might have about their brews at every location. Beer was plenty and did not even consider buying more than what was provided. Recommend to anyone who mildly likes beer and great as a present as I did with the father inlaw. Great Tour

Breckenridge Brewery Introduces New West Coast Style IPA ‘Ridge Runner’

LITTLETON, Colo., April 29, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Breckenridge Brewery (“Breck Brew”) a subsidiary of Tilray Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: TLRY and TSX: TLRY), is thrilled to introduce a new West Coast style IPA – 'Ridge Runner' – to its portfolio of well balanced and drinkable craft beers. Ridge Runner is inspired by the untamed beauty of Colorado’s trails and, like all Breck Brew beers, is the perfect accessory to an active Colorado lifestyle—whether on top of the summit or after a long day exploring the trails. Ridge Runner is a bold and adventurous double dry hopped brew crafted for those seeking the thrill of adventure and the reward of a well-earned sip.

The newly released Ridge Runner is a traditional West Coast IPA – a style that has reemerged in popularity amongst craft beer drinkers thanks to the craftsmanship and nuanced flavor of the hops. With a 7.4% ABV, this adventurous and bold double dry hopped brew is infused with flavors from whole cone hops to build a complex body and enticing aroma. In addition, a double dose of Citra lupulin powder is added creating a fresh, hoppy dominance with notes of bright citrus and pine.

Breckenridge Brewery Delivers New Refreshing 'Ridge Runner' IPA

“We’re really excited to create a West Coast style IPA with Ridge Runner, which allows us to showcase 35 years of craftsmanship and experience perfecting the double dry hop,” explained Carl Heinz, brewmaster of Breckenridge Brewery. “The result is a beer that celebrates the Colorado lifestyle and is ideal for toasting the trail less traveled.”

Breckenridge Brewery has a fresh new IPA for the outdoor enthusiasts

Breck Brew’s Ridge Runner West Coast IPA is the perfect addition to its portfolio of beers that are meant to be enjoyed after a day of exploring Colorado’s great outdoors—ideally with friends in good company– whether it's after a long hike, a day on the slopes, poolside, or around a campfire. Ridge Runner West Coast IPA is now available at Breckenridge Brewery and sold in 12oz at most retail locations throughout Colorado.

For more information on availability, refer to Breck Brew’s Beer Locator .

About Breckenridge Brewery

Breckenridge Brewery opened its doors in 1990 in the ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado. What started as a small brewpub has grown into one of the largest breweries in the U.S. The original brewery still serves its craft beer and delicious pub fare at a high altitude. The production brewery outside of Denver sends beer to 49 states and offers tours, dining, and a welcoming Colorado beer garden experience. With a focus on balanced, approachable, and interesting beer, the brewery’s portfolio contains classics like Vanilla Porter, Avalanche Amber Ale, Agave Wheat, Strawberry Sky, and Hop Peak IPA, along with a variety of specialty beers that include seasonals, barrel-aged beers, the Brewery Lane Series, and a nitrogen-charged canned series.
