We can finally see Little Mix 's tour outfits as they've officially kicked off the European leg of their sixth tour in Madrid, and obviously, they're serving some absolute lewks as they dance and sing up a storm.

It seems the band have kept that winning co-ordinated girl band formula, wearing similar outfits when hitting the stage but with crucial twists to suit each of their individual styles and personalities.

From multicoloured animal print (bang on trend), to a ripped denim short and plaid ensemble, to a fierce look which is *literally* covered in flames, the girls have switched up each outfit change to suit the songs they're performing.

Touring their fifth album, the four stars put on a show to remember with a powerful feminist message, performing in front of an giant Gloria Steinem quote that read: "A feminist is anyone who recognises the equality and full humanity of women and men", just when we think we couldn't stan anymore.

Jesy treated us and uploaded a full length of one of the outfits and, as you can see, it's absolute fire, and we're absolutely loving the platinum bob she's sporting.

Perrie took to Instagram to share how happy she is to be back on tour, writing: "Can't explain how good it felt to kick off the LM5 tour in Madrid last night. You guys made me emotional with all the love... can't wait for the next one."

Their tour will take them all over Europe, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand spanning a fourth month period that finishes just before Christmas, so whatever outfits we haven't managed to catch a glimpse of yet, there's still plenty of time to see!

From X Factor to pop princesses, how Little Mix found their style groove

Since winning The X Factor in 2011, Little Mix have gone onto become one of the most successful Brit girl bands since the Spice Girls. They've written music for Britney Spears, have launched their own dolls and a fragrance and have sold 7.5 million records worldwide - these girls are BIG.

Like the beloved 90s' group, Little Mix (Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards , Jesy Nelson ) have cultivated a similar reputation - they're bold, playful and having the best time.

Their fashion choices follow the same theme - they're about as far from understated as you can imagine. These girls love colourful trends, clashing prints, chunky boots and dying their hair rainbow hues.

So many trends, so little time - the Little Mix girls dabbled with high top wedges, tomboy cool (the braces and bow tie), 80s cool (leather look leggings and off the shoulder tops) and big, big hair back in November 2011.

For the Brit Awards 2017 , the Little Mix ladies opted for entirely different looks, with a couple of the ladies channelling the queen of pop, Madonna, in cone bras. We think Jesy's leather gown was our fave while we were also impressed with Jade's silver slip dress.

As part of their Glory Days tour, the Little Mix girls rocked F1 racer-style get ups. Thoughts?

To the Capital Summertime Ball, the Little Mix girls went for bold monochrome ensembles. Jesy rocked camo, Perrie a corset and Jade opted for a D&G look complete with a crown. As for Leigh-Ann, we're not too sure about the super lace-up look, but hey-ho.

We Asked Two Celebrity Stylists What It's Really Like To Dress The Rich And Famous. Here's All The Tea They Spilled.

BuzzFeed sat down for a chat with styling duo Zack Tate and Jamie McFarland. From music videos and red carpets to using chopped-up trousers as sleeves, here's what we found out.

We all know that there’s an army of people behind any celebrity. They’re the ones who make shit happen and get shit done: stylists and glam teams to preen and perfect, publicists to steer the narrative, and agents and managers to keep the schedule busy, stretching that 15 minutes into 30. If a celebrity is the car, then the team around them is the engine and the wheels that keep everything moving smoothly.

But who are these people behind the celebrity? Who are these people behind the face of fame?

Because I’ve never quite figured out how to mind my own business, I decided to investigate. First on my list of behind-the-scenes jobs to explore was that of a celeb stylist. Enter Zack Tate and Jamie McFarland , a styling duo who’ve worked with Winnie Harlow , Jordyn Woods , JoJo, Suki Waterhouse , Jourdan Dunn... Oh, and they’re also the styling gods behind the world’s biggest girl band, Little Mix.

From music videos and red carpets to using chopped-up trousers as sleeves, here are all the things I learned when I sat down with them for a chat.

{ "id": 123905388 } You don’t need a fashion degree to be a stylist

Surely you need a degree from a prestigious fashion school to become a stylist, right? Well, not quite. After moving to London at 17, Zack worked in retail before transitioning into visual merchandising. With designers like Marc Jacobs, Prada, and Burberry on his résumé, a chance encounter with Keri Hilson in a New York nightclub led to an offer to work alongside her.

“It was a nice natural progression to leap over into trying celebrity styling,” he said. “I have no college or university experience when it comes to fashion. I just worked my arse off and proved that I really wanted to do it.”

Jamie, on the other hand, started out by doing his own photo shoots, using his little sister as the model and their back garden/garage as the backdrop. "I'd dress her up like an absolute crazy person and just use the pictures for my portfolio," he said.

After studying graphic design at university, Jamie was asked by a friend if he'd help out on a shoot. He said, “I tried it out and just worked my way to the top.”

Let’s talk money! Buying designer clothes day in and day out comes with a price tag, and things can get pretty expensive. But there’s a budget to cover that...right? Uhhh, not so fast.

“There’s no organisation that looks after stylists, so you just make it all up as you go along,” said Jamie. “It’s a common thing that stylists are expected to front the budget. It normally comes to us after the job’s been done, so we use our own money.”

That means a stylist can end up paying for the clothes and getting reimbursed for it later, which is all well and good — but you need to have that money in your account first. Not only that, but just-in-case options that are worthy of the budget are also needed. So, if you have five options, a stylist might need to first pay £5,000 out of pocket.

Of course, you can loan outfits from designers or refund whatever options don’t get used on the day, but it’s still a “big struggle” for stylists who are just starting out and don’t have the money to cover it. As Zack put it: “No one’s in a rush to get you a budget to do your job, but they want it done yesterday.”

Sure, working with celebrities has its perks. There are the red carpets (which are almost more stress than they’re worth, but more on that later), the backstage passes, the travelling, and the smug satisfaction of knowing all the gossip that fans would die to hear. But behind the scenes, working as a stylist is no walk in the park.

“When things are in promo and everyone’s really busy, you’re working seven days a week, really long hours,” said Zack. We’re talking 24-hour days on the set of a music video, or shooting outside in the middle of a freezing December night while swarming paparazzi try to get a picture.

“Being on set is a really long day,” Zack admitted. “You’d rock up an hour before your client and you’d set up your rails. Then there are hours of sitting around, waiting for glam to be done.” And that doesn’t include the days and weeks of prep leading up to any given project. There are dozens of people to please; countless brainstorms, sketches, and pitches to be done; designers to be charmed; alterations to be made; last-minute obstacles; and changes of heart to overcome.

Let’s not forget about the luggage either. Working on a shoot can mean lugging a dozen or so suitcases filled with options from one location to another. In 2017, Zack and Jamie flew from London to LA for a music video before flying to Denver for a photo shoot. Total suitcases for that trip? Thirty — so just a little over the baggage allowance.

Stylists also work on a freelance basis. So even if you’re fortunate enough to have a loyal and busy client — Zack and Jamie have been working with Little Mix since 2016 and show no signs of slowing down — career planning can be difficult. “You get influxes of being busy and not being busy,” said Zack. “It fluctuates in terms of the steadiness of your paycheque,” agreed Jamie. “For a long time we were living hand-to-mouth.”

{ "id": 123905393 } There's more to it than just buying a pretty dress

Obviously, we see the final look after it’s been tailored and altered, nipped and tucked. But there are a ton of things at play that we don’t see before we get there. “For something like the Brit Awards, you’d get a brief in terms of what the performance is from the creative directors, so lighting references and choreography,” Zack revealed. “Then sometimes you literally just get told 'Radio 1 performance, the lights are gonna be this colour,' and that’s about it.”

Is it better to not have a brief, so you can pretty much do whatever you want? “Sometimes it’s a luxury and sometimes it’s a pain in the arse,” said Jamie. “But sometimes it’s really nice to have that full creative control.”

Backup options are essential in case of a last-minute disaster — zips breaking, a dress splitting, or even just a client not being in the best mood. “You always need another option because you’re working with people whose moods can change at the drop of a hat,” Jamie explained. “If they decide they like it one day and they don’t the next, what are you gonna do about it?”

When you’re working with people who perform onstage, there are a bunch of other things to take into consideration as well. “They do the dress run, and it’s ‘I’m getting stuck here, I’m tripping over this strap, these shoes are slippery and not gripping,'” said Zack. “You’ve got to think about all of these things. Every garment has to be changed and made dance-ready.”

On the set of a music video or photo shoot, there’s no less to take into consideration. “You’re permanently glued to a monitor, just to see what’s actually being captured. There’s always pins and tweaks and things that you’re having to look out for.”

Oh, and it's not all about buying either. A lot of outfits are custom-made, designed from scratch, or spontaneously thought up on the day. Jesy's hat from the "Bounce Back" video, for example, was actually made from a coat that was on the rail, while Perrie's sleeves on the Glory Days tour were actually trousers that had been chopped up and left on the floor.

There’s an army of people behind any one celebrity — and if they want the final result to be any good, they have to work together to make it happen.

While planning a look, Zack and Jamie will send pictures of outfit references to the glam team so they have something to work with. “We’ll have a WhatsApp group with hair and makeup,” said Zack. “You’ve just got to make sure that everything’s on the same page and cohesive.” Jamie described it as a tripod because “if one fails, then the whole thing looks like shit”.

However, the bigger the team is, the more liaising there is to be done — publicists, managers, record labels, producers, and choreographers may all need to be taken into account. In fact, Zack and Jamie agree that “relentless” opinions from other people are sometimes the most difficult thing about the job. “You can have a client that really likes a particular dress or a suit, and then they ask four people in the room and everyone has a different opinion, so they become uncertain.”

Working as a stylist is a pretty intimate job, though, and so becoming friends with clients isn't unusual. “You become very close very quickly — because in two minutes of knowing you, I’m seeing you in your underwear or completely naked,” said Jamie. “You develop a bond very early on.” In fact, after working alongside Little Mix for their LM5 album campaign, the entire glam and styling team were gifted personalised plaques as a thank-you for their hard work.

The red carpet is a staple for most celebrities. A-listers run the paparazzi gauntlet so often that you’d think they wouldn’t be fazed by it, but the “level of pressure” can rattle even the biggest celebs.

“It’s actually really surprising how much a red carpet can freak someone out,” Jamie said. “I don’t know why, but a red carpet is just as scary for people as a live performance.”

And the general anxiety in the air before a red carpet event makes everybody else nervous too. “If we’re dressing a client for radio promo, their nerves are quite relaxed,” explained Zack. “But when it comes to something like a red carpet, there’s so much more that they’ve got to think about. And their level of panic and pressure will be completely different, which then would be projected onto us.”

A red carpet is a lot of pressure for stylists too. Outfits can look completely different in a still picture and unflattering photos are often shopped to tabloids or posted online to be slated. “Once the pictures are taken, we’re just refreshing Instagram,” Jamie said. “Everyone gives their opinion, so it’s more up for debate than a performance or a music video.”

So, what happens to the clothes when a celebrity is done with them? You can’t exactly nip to grab a pint of milk in a Chanel gown that you just wore to the Oscars. Well, you can, but let’s not get into that.

“The client owns the clothes,” Jamie revealed. “Whatever budget their team would pay to acquire the clothes is essentially the client’s money that is being put into the project. So if they want to keep the clothes, they can.”

That’s only if the outfit has been bought, though. A large part of styling is about building relationships with fashion houses and designers who will lend an outfit to a celebrity for a particular event, and one-off borrowed pieces will need to be returned.

As for stuff that’s been bought that the client no longer wants, Zack and Jamie will keep some bits as a memento — I have no shame in saying that I tried on Jesy’s “Bounce Back” hat when I visited their office — and donate the rest to charity.

{ "id": 123905401 } Criticism sucks, but it’s never personal

Fashion is subjective, which means every Tom, Dick, and Harry has an opinion. In a world where everyone is “fast to criticise” what a celebrity’s wearing, it wouldn’t be a surprise if negative comments impacted the choices that a stylist makes. But as long as the client is happy, that’s really all that matters.

“If we listened to every comment that we get online, our clients would be dressed completely different,” said Zack. “As long as they’re happy and comfortable doing what they’re doing, that’s all that matters. They’re not dressing for the people that are giving these negative comments, they’re dressing for themselves.”

Advice from a stylist about dealing with negative opinions? “Don’t take things to heart. Nothing’s ever personal.” ●

Little Mix kick off Confetti tour in style with Belfast concert ahead of hiatus

Little Mix kicked off their Confetti tour in pure style on Saturday, not that we’d expect anything less.

The Secret Love Song singers, made up of Perrie Edwards , Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, took to the stage at the SSE Arena in Belfast and delighted the crowd with an energetic performance.

As well as belting out some of their biggest hits, they danced the night away on the first date of their jam-packed calendar.

At one point Leigh-Anne, 30, opted for a long-sleeved sparkly green and black corset top, with matching boots and a bejewelled headpiece, before switching things up with a yellow outfit.

While 28-year-old Perrie sat on a throne like a total queen, in a sequinned red and nude catsuit, adorned with huge, feathered wings.

Jade clearly got the colourful memo, donning a similar embellished bright pink catsuit for part of the concert, complete with huge feathered sleeves.

After a string of outfit changes, the trio sent fans wild as they were lowered onto the stage in dreamy neon, tiered net outfits that we desperately need for our next supermarket visit.

Saturday’s performance marked the beginning of the Confetti tour, the final dates Little Mix will embark on before their hiatus begins.

They will next be performing in Belfast again tonight before heading to Dublin on April 12.

Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie previously announced that they will be taking a break at the end of the current run of performances, following a decade together – one year after Jesy Nelson left the group.

A message on their official Instagram page in December read: ‘We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.

‘It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

‘We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much.’

‘We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future,’ they concluded. ‘We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more.

‘We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x.’

It has been reported that Jade will launch a solo career in the summer , but she has yet to speak out publicly on the claims.

Perrie has been seen heading back to the studio, with Leigh-Anne signing a deal with Warner Records in February.

The record company tweeted at the time: ‘Delighted to welcome Leigh-Anne Pinnock to the Warner Records family!’

A product of the eighth series of The X Factor, winners Little Mix (formed in 2011) are a British all-female pop, R&B and hip hop group, hailing from South Shields and London, UK.

Originally auditioned as solo artists, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were offered the choice of joining forces at the boot-camp stage. With their mentor, N-Dubz’s Tulisa Contostavlos, Little Mix impressed the public with their bubbly attitudes, pop star looks, and relatable song choices. Initially dubbed Rhythmix, the group performed En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go”, Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” on the show, and became the first group in history to win the competition. Little Mix’s winner’s song, Damien Rice’s “Cannonball” went on to top the UK Singles Chart, and the group signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records.

The group’s debut original single arrived in the summer of 2012 entitled “Wings”. The single became a huge commercial success, topping the UK Singles Chart and charting in a host of other countries including Australia, the U.S., Canada, Belgium, and Slovakia. Following the release, Little Mix issued their debut full-length “DNA” in November 2012, cementing their cross-genre appeal. Co-written by the likes of Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts and TLC’s T-Boz, the album earned strong reviews from the critical press and charted at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. The album spawned the subsequent singles “DNA”, “Change Your Life”, and “How Ya Doin?”, and became the highest charting girl group album in U.S. history.

Taking the group in a more focused R&B direction, Little Mix’s sophomore album “Salute” was led by the single “Move”. Featuring production from TMS, Future Cut, and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, “Salute” spawned the singles “Little Me” and “Salute”. The album charted at No. Four and No. Six in the UK and the U.S respectively, and once again earned strong reviews from the musical press. The album, like its predecessor, was supported with a headlining tour entitled The Salute Tour, which began in May 2014.

Live reviews

As a fan of R&B, pop, and hip hop, it wasn't hard to convince myself to see these four ladies live on stage. While some have compared them to The Spice Girls, and suggested that they might be the Spice Girls for this generation, I think that there's enough that sets them apart from others to just treat them as an individual group.

For starters, their covers are something that really sets them apart, as they combine multiple tracks and blur genre lines, meaning that there's something for everyone.

Their combination of the songs "Counting Stars," "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and "Holy Grail," pays homage to a variety of artists while still providing a fresh and unique spin on popular music from different eras. As a result, I think it's unfair to judge Little Mix as solely trendy because of the youth of the performers alone.

See them in concert, and believe me for yourself. Their youth translates into truly inventive, truly inspired, and truly engaging performances of songs that mean something to them and are meant to truly entertain. For a show you won't soon forget, I highly recommend seeing Little Mix. That is, if you can deal with the screaming teens in the audience.

British pop outfit Little Mix consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall exploded onto the scene in 2012 after conquering the coveted talent competition X Factor. Simon Cowell's latest protégées quickly went on to also conquer both sides of the Atlantic, becoming the highest charting debut girl band of all time in the States, breaking a record previously held by the Spice Girls.

Having proven themselves champions on a live singing competition, you can presume the girls' vocal abilities are on point. From the first bars of opener 'Salute' the quartet are melodic and anthemic all at once. They appear to be bonafide pop stars already, using every aspect of the stage space and whipping their audiences into excitement with ease. They jump, dance and move their way through a setlist consisting of 'Change Your Life' 'DNA' and 'Move'.

There is also time for a cover mash up including 'Run The World' by Beyonce and 'Can't Hold Us' by Macklemore proving their vocal versatility. They encore with the obvious 'Wings' in order to evoke the largest singalong thus far.

Let's start with the fact that it's not me that is the fan of little mix but my 6 year old daughter! (And my 3 year old son but he was home with dad) my daughter wanted to leave before any of the show had started! And continued throughout the entire time of both shows telling me she wanted to exit! Not after spending £100 on tickets! I won't be taking her to another concert any time soon! On the other hand my little man would of loved it!! (I should of taken him!) The the support band "Sheppard" we're really good, good singers, entertainers and performers, think they will go far! My opinion of the Little Mix show was, the girls sing well live, there was a good mix of their songs with Jade being the best singer, they were good with the crowd but thought the dancing was a bit monotonous, think they could of done more then twerking throughout. The end was odd.... NO ENCORE! Jesy thanked the crowd, said travel home safely and they left... people were stood around waiting for them to come back out but a back ground song was put on... very strange I thought. But overall a good (not brilliant) concert.

Little Mix have made girl group history since their incredible victory on famed tv show The X Factor. The girls were brought together by the show and sang their way to the top, winning the eight series of the show, an incredible victory considering they were the first group to ever win the show, beating record breaking boy band One Direction. The foursome have gone from success to success ever since, with singles such as ‘Wings’ and ‘DNA’. One of the most refreshing things about this band is how down to earth they all seem. They stepped on to stage wearing converse and crop tops, all massive grins and happy greetings to the excited audience. They were chatting to the crowd, thanking us for being here and generally creating a fun, happy atmosphere. As soon as the music started, the girls were all business. Joined by a group of talented backing dancers, the girls put on one hell of a show. They pranced and sung their way on stage, belting the lyrics to all their biggest hits , including ‘Move’, ‘Salute’ and, of course, ‘Wings’.

This was the 4th time i saw little mix and the first time seated it was an amazing show apart from Jade being unwell which you can’t help she did amazing at still getting out on stage and dancing with the other girls even trying to sing her bits in the songs I probably wouldn’t go seating again as the people in front weren’t very nice and sometimes I could see I didn’t want to stand cause the the little kids behind me wouldn’t be able to see but that would never ruin my time dancing and singing alone with the girls I definitely going to see them when they are doing a show near me or are on another tour can’t wait and hopefully one day I will meet them. Being the 4th time seeing them I would say the 1st time was the best because it was a small venue and they did an interview as well.

I really don’t know where to start...

Everything from start to finish was very well organised the queues moved very fast and no trouble at all. Security was fantastic too. Our seats were really good seats but I don’t think any seat would have been a bad seat. The warm up acts were brilliant too especially Jessarae he was really really good. When little mix came onto the stage they were brilliant they interacted with the audience and put on an unstoppable and unforgettable show which was truly amazing myself and both my daughters were shattered by the end of the show so goodness knows how little mix must be feeling tonight. I can’t wait to go and see them again. They are by far the best live concert I have ever seen. Top marks ladies. Xx

This show was amazing, throughout I live I have been to see them three times as they took their journey so I've been to see them when they started up with you to go and then I can this year got better and better and I just I love the way they interacted with the crowds but did something very upbeat they did singalongs it was very nice and it was just them singing aswell the security was also Amazing . The only thing I would say is that there were no intervals wich was clearly for safety reasons but i found it hard as when my sis went to the toilet she missed her favourite song. There was also long lines to cue wich i have never had to cue before but i cant rlly complain about the amazing securityy.

The show was absolutely amazing! The choreography and effects were brilliant. I would recommend the standing area rather than seating to get the full experience especially because it was only three quarters full in Munich. The warm up act was the Vamps which was also amazing and they were perfect for starting the show. The tribute act to the LGBTQ community was beautiful and one of my favourite of the many performances. One downside was that the water was really expensive (5€!! but is would be 3€ if you returned the cup) but something you will need for the show. I was little disappointed that Jade and Perry appeared to have lost their south shields accent but overall the show was incredible.

I've been following Little Mix for about 3.5 years now. I attended the Dangerous Woman Tour in Columbus. The show was everything I expected and more. When you think Little Mix, you think extravagant shows and incredible vocals. They served both and looked amazing. They got the crowd into it and I was amazed at how many fellow Little Mix fans I ran into. Secret Love Song was so beautiful and they dedicated it to the LGBT+ community which got an amazing reaction from the crowd. The crowd sang along to Wings, Touch, Black Magic, and Shoutout to My Ex. I'm hoping they headline their own tour in America. They are the girl group we need and I'll be the first one to buy tickets.

Oh My goodness, those girls are just outstanding, the energy and sheer natural talent shines through, have to say for me Jesy never stops, she's just stunning as are all four girls.. I'm 62 and went with my 26 year old daughter, my idea,my treat and would go again in a heartbeat, thanks girls for a truly amazing night, tickets very fairly priced but must say the prices of the merchandise is pretty outrageous moreso because it's aimed at youngsters.I bought a programme for my 9 year old Granddaughter at £15 thought this was a bit much, and t shirts at £25 and £30 Hoodies £55 these prices really need attention before the next tour, come on girls Xxxxx
