Princess welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers to the world of cruising with services and amenities that make life easier for their families as well. These young guests are welcome in Camp Discovery when accompanied by a parent. Mini-Suites and Full Suites offer full-sized bath tubs, and wash bins for showers are available. Staterooms with balconies are perfect for naptime. You can request high chairs, booster seats and cribs. We also provide complimentary jarred baby food. And fresh, pureed foods (fruits, veggies and rice) are available in the main dining room, specialty restaurants, and Horizon Court or World Fresh Marketplace.

Hours of Operation: Sea days 9:00am to 12:00 pm | 1:00pm - 5:00pm | 6:00pm - 10:00pm. Port Days 8:00am - 5:00pm | 6:00pm - 10:00pm. Depending on the itinerary, port hours may be expanded. Check the schedule once onboard. The Program is complimentary during port days and advanced bookings are not required.

Dinner Events Exclusively for Kids

Children and adults alike get the chance to enjoy dinner on their own with a variety of opportunities for kids to eat with their friends and Princess Youth Staff. They'll find kids-only dinners on select evenings, a teens-only dinner on a formal night in an exclusively reserved section of the dining room, as well as ice cream and pizza parties held throughout the voyage. Please be sure the Youth Staff members know about any food allergies your child may have.

Cruise Activities for Young Adults — Ages 18-20

Imagine a secret society. Only those invited can join. Guests ages 18-20 will learn the secret handshake and be granted a special code word to unlock an exclusive list of Club1820 events made just for them. No parents, no little siblings, no official hosts.

Moscow is a Volga River cruise port, Russia's capital and largest city (population over 12,2 million, metro 17 million). Moscow City covers a total area of approx 2610 km 2 (970 mi2). By population, the city is ranked the world's 14th largest. Moscow is one of the Russian Federation's all 3 federal cities - together with St Petersburg and Sevastopol .

Being Russian Federation's capital, Moscow is a major economic, political, scientific and cultural center, as well as Europe's biggest city.

According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has been ranked as the 9th most expensive city in the world by Mercer and has one of the largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to Globalization and World Cities Research Network. It is also one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world according to MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index. Moscow is the northernmost and the coldest megacity and metropolis on the Earth. It's home to Ostankino Tower, the tallest free-standing European structure; the Federation Tower, the tallest European skyscraper; and the Moscow International Business Center. 

Moscow is situated on Moskva River in the Central Federal District of European Russia, which makes it the most populated inland city in the world. Moscow city is well known for architecture, particularly its historic buildings like Saint Basil's Cathedral. With over 40% of its territory covered by greenery, it's one of the greenest capitals and major cities in Europe and the world. Moscow is the seat of power of the Russian Government, being the site of Moscow Kremlin, a medieval city-fortress that is now the residence of the President of Russia. Moscow Kremlin and Red Square are among the several World Heritage Sites in the city. 

Moscow has 2 passenger terminals, North River Terminal (Rechnoy vokzal) and South River Terminal. The regular ship routes and cruises along Moskva and Oka rivers are used mostly for entertainment. North River Terminal (1937-built) is currently the main hub for long-range routes along the river. There are 3 freight ports that serve Moscow.

In late-July 2021 the city announced plans to incorporate a fleet (unspecified number) of fully electric passenger ferries into its public transportation network from summer 2022, the goal being to reduce the dependence on cars.

• The boats are designed with length ~22 m (72 ft), passenger capacity 42, modern amenities (Wi-Fi, USB charging points, tables for working commuters), spaces for storing scooters and bicycles.
• Moscow Transport confirmed that two routes (with max daily capacity ~16,000 passengers) have already been mapped out.
• Passengers will be able to pay via bank cards, the city’s Troika card (smart card for travel by any public transportation) or biometric payment cards. Those with monthly/yearly public transit tickets will use the boats at no extra cost.
• The new electric ferry service is up to 5 times faster (in comparison to other city public transports) and ~2 times faster than by car.

Moscow cruise terminal

Moscow's cruise terminal is called North River Terminal or River Station  ("Rechnoy Vokzal" / "речной вокзал").

The terminal was opened in 1937 and is one of 2 passenger terminals (the other being South River Terminal) of the city's river transport. North River Terminal is the main hub for long-range (including cruise) shipping routes.

A brand-new class of ship is heading to North America in 2024, and it starts with Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas in January. Does anyone know how the friends and family discount work and what the price difference is? I have a friend who works for the company ( Princess ) who says he can get me a wonderful discount.:eek:

Maybe you should ask your friend how the discount works. I'm sure if they get one, it is probably outlined in the Employee handbook.

The friends and family discount is fairly substantial. The discount varies depending on the itinerary, but it is well worth it. I have saved significantly with the discount in previous cruises.

I think I have read this before, that the friends and family discount is kind of a hush hush thing that was not widely known, and they wanted it kept that way.

Then I won't tell anyone about it. The guy spoke about it, but he's hard to get in touch with. I was just wondering if it was worth investigating. :D

Its only bad for the employee. They are given strict instructions on telling others about the discount. Even your conduct on the cruise is a reflection towards the employee. Since I've heard Princess monitors these boards, hope they don't figure out who you (meaning your friend) is. Some times secrets are just that, secret. :rolleyes:

Just to add to that, the employee can be terminated (and one of my co-workers was) because a member of their FNF list was drunk and disorderly on a cruise which they booked through FNF. Princess is deadly serious about that.

Our first Princess cruise was on such a discount (at the time someone who worked for my hubby was dating a Princess employee; they did get married, but now are divorced, and the guy told my hubby a few weeks ago that he thought she left Princess). Anyway, we got a MR cruise for the three of us for a total (not counting taxes, etc.) of just under $800. Again, that was for the three of us. Pretty good, huh?

He gave hubby a choice of a couple of sailing dates. We were even offered a complete refund and an upgrade to a balcony (from an inside) if we had postponed, as they were overbooked. We didn't take the offer for a variety of reasons.

Wasn't aware that we needed to behave. But considering we try to behave anyway, maybe the guy had assure his gf that we wouldn't be trouble.

I was kind of scared.:eek: due to the reaction. I'd keep it on the QT anyway, because I wouldn't want the guy hounded by others for discounts. The company would love me anyway. I LOVE PRINCESS. It fits dh and I to a T. Heck, I'd love to quit my job and work for Princess just to GET a discount. :D

I'm a FORMER Princess employee, and I'm sure there are more of us formers out there. It is against company policy for current employees to post on these boards.

I met a couple on a cruise who were enjoying F & F discount. They said that they always have a blue card. It didn't seem to be a big secret and they cruise often. Airline employees and their families fly free, space available. What's wrong with cruise line employees enjoying a break? I'd love to be a friend of an employee of Princess.

Murder investigation under way after teenager stabbed in Manchester

Police appeal for information and CCTV after boy, 17, is stabbed to death in Moss Side

Police have launched a murder investigation after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed in Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police said they were called to Raby Street in the Moss Side area of the city at around 4.15pm on Thursday.

The 17-year-old was taken to hospital but died a short time later. His family has been notified.

Detective Superintendent Simon Moyles said: “This is a tragic and senseless loss of life and our thoughts remain with the victim’s family and friends at this time.

“They will remain at the forefront of our minds as we move forwards in our investigation to track down the person or persons responsible.”

No arrests have been made. 

Detective Superintendent Moyles added: “I want to assure the local community that a visible police presence will be in place in the local area over the coming days for reassurance and to carry out enquiries as we work tirelessly to apprehend those responsible and bring them to justice.

“We are continuing to appeal for any information or relevant footage - including mobile, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam. Any information you have will be treated with the strictest confidence and if you do have information to share, I urge you to do the right thing and report it to police.”
