Guns N' Roses Announce 2023 Tour Across North America, Europe and Israel — See the Dates!
The rockers last hit North America in 2021
Guns N' Roses is hitting the road!
The rockers will embark on a lengthy tour in June that will see them play nearly 40 dates across stadiums, arenas and festivals around the world.
The band — which includes Axl Rose , 61, Duff McKagan , 59, and Slash , 57 — will kick things off in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5 before heading to Europe for 15 concerts.
On Aug. 5, the "November Rain" rockers will head back to North America for 22 more dates before wrapping in Vancouver on Oct. 16. The band last hit North America in 2021, on its We're F'N Back! Tour.
For longtime fans, the end of each show will look a bit different, as Rose announced in December that he will no longer throw his microphone into the crowd after a fan claimed the move injured her.
"It's come to my attention that a fan may have been hurt at r show in Adelaide Australia possibly being hit by the microphone at the end of the show when I traditionally toss the mic to the fans," he wrote on Twitter.

He continued: "Having tossed the mic at the end of r show for over 30 years we always felt it was a known part of the very end of r performance that fans wanted and were aware of to have an opportunity to catch the mic. Regardless in the interest of public safety from now on we'll refrain from tossing the mic or anything to the fans during or at r performance."
Rose recently celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt Twitter message to fans that thanked them for their longtime support.
"I'm very fortunate n' privileged to have such great friends, fans n' people in my life!!" he wrote. "I'm extremely grateful for ALL the people I n' Guns n' Roses r privileged to play for n' all those we meet, know n' work with around the world!! I mean that sincerely from the bottom of my heart n' don't take anyone n' their love, friendship n' support along with any of our success for granted!!"
Presale tickets for the tour will be available on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, while the general on-sale begins Friday at 10 a.m. local time at gunsnroses.com .

ABOUT GUNS N’ ROSES:
Guns N’ Roses endure as the most dynamic, dangerous, and definitive American rock band in history to this day. Embedded in popular culture, their landmark diamond-selling 1987 opus, Appetite For Destruction , stands out as “the best-selling U.S. debut album ever” and “the 11 th best-selling U.S. album of all time, ” while their Not In This Lifetime… Tour (2016-2019) ranked as the “fourth-highest grossing concert tour of all time . ” During 1991, Guns N’ Roses shook the world with the one-two punch of the 7x-platinum Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II , clinching the top two spots of the Billboard 200 upon arrival. With total sales of 100 million units thus far, their catalog also consists of G N’ R Lies (5x-platinum), The Spaghetti Incident? Guns N’ Roses Announce Huge 2023 World Tour
Back to prove there's no such thing as too much of a good thing, Guns N' Roses have just announced a huge 2023 world tour.
It's been seven years since Slash and Duff McKagan simultaneously rejoined the group and Guns N' Roses remain one of the biggest (and one of the most lucrative ) concert draws in the world with Axl Rose , Dizzy Reed , Richard Fortus , Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese rounding out the lineup.
See all of the upcoming tour dates further down the page. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 24 at 10AM local time here and look for presale tickets to be made available starting Feb. 22 at 10AM local time.
This year has already been quite notable for GN'R and Rose, especially when it comes to the Use Your Illusion I hit song "November Rain." At Lisa Marie Presley 's memorial service, Rose performed a vocal and piano rendition of the track and, three weeks later, the "November Rain" YouTube video surpassed two billion views , becoming the first '90s rock song to achieve that milestone.

Having sold over 100 million records worldwide, GUNS N' ROSES are one of the biggest selling acts in history. With two No.1 albums and four Top 5 albums on the Billboard charts, the band were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012 and are AMA , Billboard and MTV Award winners.
Their debut record, 1987's critically acclaimed "Appetite For Destruction" , became the best-selling debut album of all time in the U.S., featuring Top 10 singles "Welcome To The Jungle" , "Paradise City" and No. 1 iconic track "Sweet Child O' Mine" .
GUNS N' ROSES launched its long-rumored and long-awaited reunion tour with an April 2016 club show in Hollywood and appearances in Las Vegas and at California's Coachella festival.

GUNS N' ROSES released a new four-song EP, "Hard Skool" , in February 2022. Axl Rose Superfan Carrie Underwood Will Open for Guns N’ Roses
By Joseph Hudak
Joseph Hudak
After miraculously enticing Axl Rose to join her onstage at Stagecoach 2022 and, yet again , at her L.A. headlining concert earlier this year, Carrie Underwood will return the favor and open for Guns N’ Roses when the band plays Nashville on its summer 2023 tour . Underwood joined the entirety of GNR onstage in London last summer, and it’s a fair bet fans will see her again between Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan in Music City.
In addition to the Nashville appearance at Geodis Park, Underwood will open two Guns N’ Roses shows in Canada. The band, who mostly reunited in 2016, also announced the rest of the openers for their upcoming tour : Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders will support on a string of dates, including a newly announced show at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, while Los Angeles rockers Dirty Honey , grunge icons Alice in Chains, and Mexican sibling trio the Warning each play select shows.

Rose last sang with Underwood onstage in Los Angeles in March on a duet of GNR’s “Welcome to the Jungle.” Along with their summer headlining tour, Guns N’ Roses will join AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and Metallica at the Power Trip Festival in Indio, California, in October.

Quick: Which summer stadium tour features a singer in a shiny outfit, a special guest and a three-hour set that includes a few surprise curveballs? Would you believe Guns N’ Roses ? The band is back on tour again this summer — it plays North American stadiums until mid-October — with Slash, original bassist Duff McKagan, longstanding keyboardist Dizzy Reed and, for many concerts, a surprisingly sincere cover of the Jimmy Webb classic “Wichita Lineman.”
Guns N’ Roses Announce Dates For 2023 World Tour
Trending on billboard, guns n’ roses classic crowns top tv songs chart after ‘the summer i turned pretty’ synch.
At a time when critics seem positively shocked at the idea that a stadium show can run for more than three hours and include two surprise songs, it’s worth remembering that this was once simply what rock fans expected — play for a while and surprise us a bit. Guns N’ Roses went beyond this to give each member a chance to shine: McKagan sang a powerful “TV Eye,” Slash snuck pieces of “Voodoo Child” and “People Get Ready” into other songs and “Dizzy f–king Reed,” as Rose called him, showed off his keyboard work. There were plenty of covers, too: “Down on the Farm” (the U.K. Subs song the band covered on The Spaghetti Incident? ), “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and, yes, “Wichita Lineman.” It’s hard to think of a song that seems less suited for a hard rock band – sincere, minimal, tasteful – but it worked well enough to make up for Andrew Dice Clay.

Guns N’ Roses Live Surprises: Debuts and Rarities From 2023 Tour
Guns N' Roses have maintained a largely stable set list since Axl Rose , Slash and Duff McKagan launched their three-fifths reunion tour in 2016, so it's a cause for celebration among fans whenever they shake up things.
The rockers' ongoing 2023 tour has already provided a handful of surprises in the form of album cuts that haven't been played for decades, all-new covers and a few rarely performed epics. Chinese Democracy fans have also gotten a few treats so far, with the band subbing in a few of the album's lesser-known gems.
Read on to watch 11 live debuts and rarities from Guns N' Roses' 2023 world tour.
"Bad Obsession," Use Your Illusion I (first time since 1993)
Guns N' Roses came out swinging on the first night of their 2023 tour, following up their customary show opener "It's So Easy" with a scorching rendition of Use Your Illusion I deep cut "Bad Obsession." The greasy slide guitars sounded tough as nails, and Rose sounded confident and commanding in his lower register. No Michael Monroe on harmonica, sadly, but beggars can't be choosers.
"Pretty Tied Up," Use Your Illusion II (first time since 1992)
Fans have clamored for GNR to break out "Pretty Tied Up" since they reunited in 2016, and they didn't disappoint when they finally unveiled it at their 2023 tour opener. It was another fitting opportunity for Rose to flex his lower register, while Slash and keyboardist Dizzy Reed sounded particularly fired up on the bluesy, groovy rocker.
"Down on the Farm" (U.K. Subs cover), "The Spaghetti Incident?" (first time since 2006)
Guns N' Roses have been working "The Spaghetti Incident?" covers into their sets for the past several years, usually with McKagan taking over lead vocals for the Misfits ' "Attitude" or the Damned's "New Rose." This time, however, Rose is sticking to lead vocal duties for a fiery version of the U.K. Subs' "Down on the Farm." It's a welcome, high-octane change of pace, with Rose gamely applying an exaggerated British accent just like he did on the band's studio cover.
"Anything Goes," Appetite for Destruction (first time since 1988)
Guns N' Roses' earth-shattering debut is the most-represented album in their set lists, with seven to eight songs routinely appearing every night. Still, fans freaked out when they unearthed the Side B gem "Anything Goes" for the first time in 35 years. They've now played all but one Appetite song in their reunion era, with "Think About You" being the lone holdout.
"T.V. Eye" ( The Stooges cover) (live debut)
McKagan still has a lead vocal spotlight on this tour, but he's swapped out some of his old favorites for a fresh cover of the Stooges' "T.V. Eye," off their sophomore album Fun House . Perhaps the bassist was inspired by his recent contributions to Iggy Pop 's Every Loser and performance at the punk legend's tour kickoff in April.
"Nice Boys" (Rose Tattoo cover), G N' R Lies (first time since 2017)
Guns N' Roses have covered Rose Tattoo's "Nice Boys" only twice since reuniting: once in 2017 and once at their 2023 tour kickoff. Rose Tattoo frontman Angry Anderson joined them for the 2017 performance, making it arguably more memorable, but it still made for a rip-roaring set list addition this year.
"My Michelle," Appetite for Destruction (first time since 2017)
One of the less-represented cuts off Appetite , "My Michelle" hadn't appeared in Guns N' Roses' set lists since 2017 before their 2023 tour kickoff. It was a live staple that earlier year, with the band playing it at 65 of their 83 shows. It was also a guest star opportunity in 2016, with Sebastian Bach and former GN'R drummer Steven Adler joining the band during a handful of concerts to perform it. They've performed it only at their 2023 tour kickoff so far, but fingers crossed they keep it in semi-regular rotation this year — and maybe share the stage with other high-profile guests in the process.
"There Was a Time," Chinese Democracy (first time since 2017)
Arguably the centerpiece of Chinese Democracy , "There Was a Time" is one of the most epic and technically demanding songs in the Guns N' Roses catalog. That's probably why they've played it only a few dozen times in their entire career, including twice in 2016 and eight times in 2017. They dusted it off for the third show of their 2023 world tour in Madrid — hopefully, it won't be the last appearance this year.
"Locomotive," Use Your Illusion II
Another shape-shifting epic from the Use Your Illusion albums, "Locomotive" ranks among "Coma," "November Rain" and "Estranged" as one of Guns N' Roses' greatest long-form masterpieces. It's also a staggering technical achievement, which is why it was not played for most of their career. They delighted fans when they rolled it out at three shows in 2019, and they've played it three times so far in 2023.
"Prostitute," Chinese Democracy (first time since 2017)
The closing track on Chinese Democracy is another symphonic rock epic in the vein of "There Was a Time." Guns N' Roses played it a mere 15 times in 2017, and they've begun to work it back into their 2023 set lists. Another welcome addition for hardcore fans.
"Street of Dreams," Chinese Democracy
Many Guns N' Roses fans have acknowledged "Street of Dreams" as a Chinese Democracy highlight since it was floating around file-sharing services with its working title, "The Blues." Despite that, the band's current lineup has barely played it live. After years of anticipation, they finally played it three times in 2022, and they've played it twice on their 2023 tour so far.

"Locomotive", "Shadow of Your Love", Catcher in the Rye", "This Is Love", "Prostitute", "Sorry", "There Was a Time", "You're Crazy", "Used to Love Her", "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "Yesterdays", "Wichita Lineman", "My Michelle", "Out Ta Get Me", and "Better were listed as alternates.

GUNS N’ ROSES – AXL ROSE Launches Official Website
April 17, 2024, a week ago
news guns n' roses axl rose hard rock
Axl Rose has launched his own official website at officialaxlrose.com . The tag line for Guns N’ Roses frontman’s new website reads “You gotta learn to live and run, or you’ll die trying.”
The “About” section reads: “Born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl rose to fame as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Guns N' Roses, a band that rose to prominence in the late 1980s with their debut album Appetite For Destruction.” But the question still remains, does axl rose have a wife ?
Earlier this year, Guns N’ Roses unveiled the music video for their brand-new single, "The General". The cinematic clip notably stands out as the band’s first-ever A.I.-powered music video.
The video for “The General” intercuts 20 live vignettes with an A.I.-animated psychedelic visual trip. Between the concert footage, it dives into the subconscious of a young boy who stares down the monsters of dark childhood memories, blurring worlds in the process. The result is unlike anything the band has done before and continues a longstanding historic tradition of bold visuals from Guns N’ Roses. To bring this vision to life, Guns N’ Roses collaborated with Dan Potter - Creative Director of London-based creative studio Creative Works. This was a collaboration between real designers and artificial designers, and the inspiration came from within the band.
Guns N’ Roses new single, "The General" is out now via Geffen Records (listen here ) and follows the release of their summer 2023 single “Perhaps”. Guns N’ Roses initially debuted “The General” to a sold-out hometown audience during their two-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Since then, fans have anxiously awaited the official arrival of “The General” music video.
Last November, Guns N’ Roses concluded their blockbuster 2023 world tour, which sold 1.3 million tickets around the world. The tour marked the band’s largest run to date and consisted of acclaimed performances across European stadiums and arenas. The band’s legendary three-hour-plus shows encompassed sought-after fan favorites in addition to newly dusted-off gems from their back catalog, leaving ardent audiences in awe. Their run included headlining festivals including Glastonbury and London’s Hyde Park. The band’s North American leg included sold-out performances at historic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, as well as a co-headlining performance at Power Trip in Indio with AC/DC & Metallica.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has launched his own website , leaving fans to wonder what’s coming.

There has been no explanation from Rose as to what his new website is for or what it means when it comes to the legendary rock band. The landing page of the site features draggable photos of Rose, video clips in the background, his autograph and the quote: “You gotta live to learn and run, or you’ll die trying.”
The site’s about page reads: “Unmistakeable vocal style, he has carved out a legendary status in the rock history,” alongside a brief biography of Rose’s life and career with Guns N’ Roses. The news tab features articles about the band’s 2023 single ‘The General’ and the gallery tab is home to a plethora of photos of Rose performing on stage.

Fans have taken to Reddit to share their theories of what the singer may be up to with the launch of the site.
There are many fans convinced Rose may be releasing a memoir of sorts, with one user writing, “My fingers are crossed for either a book or some solo material” while another shared: “There better be some book or solo projects…at the very least, this site better get updated.”
Another fan wrote: “Dude, I need him to be writing a book. There is so much I don’t know about him. I’m sure the book would include so many answers to all of our questions.”

Elsewhere, a fan joked that the ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ singer may be dipping his toes into the world of wines saying “Maybe he’s getting into the wine business. Axl Rose Rosé,” with another fan responding: “That would be an appropriate business for him. Releasing a product that was actually created 20 years ago and stored in a dark room until now.”
Guns N’ Roses are currently on a tour hiatus as the band do not have any live dates booked for 2024. This marks the first year that the band won’t perform since Slash and Duff McKagan rejoined in 2016.
Slash is currently on tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, and is set to release his blues covers album ‘ Orgy of the Damned ‘ next month. McKagan, on the other hand, is set to embark on a UK and European tour in support of his latest solo album ‘Lighthouse’.
In other news, Rose recently filed a motion to dismiss the sexual assault lawsuit that was made against him in late 2023 .

Baby Owls Found Under Stage After Guns N’ Roses Concert, Named Axl and Slash
A Guns N’ Roses concert became an owl rescue when a pair of owls were found nested beneath the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage. The pair were taken from the Glastonbury Festival grounds to an aviary, and have been granted names honoring the band: Axl, after lead vocalist Axl Rose, and Slash, the legendary guitarist.
But most importantly, these owls rescued during the Guns N’ Roses concert have advanced to a conversation about being conscious of wildlife, especially in long-established structures.
Two owl chicks were rescued after a Guns N' Roses concert.
According to Rolling Stone, one owl chick, later named Axl, was found under the steps of the Pyramid Stage during the Guns N’ Roses’ set on June 24, 2023.
A day after Axl’s rescue, a second owl chick, Slash, was discovered beneath the stage. The owls, presumed to be siblings, were reunited by their rescuers, the RSPCA; later, they were taken to the Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) .
However, Axl and Slash were estimated to have lived there long before the real Axl and Slash took to the stage. The chicks were likely left by their parents after festival activities began and weren’t discovered until the fourth day of the Glastonbury Festival in Glastonbury, England. This means they possibly experienced close to two days of high-decibel sets from bands like Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters.
David Plant, the SWWR fundraising manager, told Rolling Stone, “This is possibly the most unusual disturbance case we’ve heard about this year, but it just goes to show the importance of checking your surroundings for wildlife before any activity.”
Plant noted that the Glastonbury Festival takes place on Worthy Farm, which operates as a dairy farm for most of the year. This means the Pyramid Stage frame is often left undisturbed for long periods of time, making it a great nesting spot for wildlife .
Axl and Slash's rescue is a reminder that we could be more conscious of wildlife habitats in our surroundings.
Owls in particular often do not build their own nests. According to the Georgia Wildlife Resources Division, great gray and great horned owls have a history of usurping a nest made by another animal, such as crows, hawks, or squirrels. Other owls, such as the burrowing owl, prefer to burrow in holes and existing cavities and structures, per Audubon International.
However, as development continues to increase, natural habitats are often overtaken by or in close proximity to manmade structures. This has led to an increase in the number of owls and other wildlife nesting in suburban and urban buildings, per the Georgia Wildlife Resources Division.
Knowing this offers a not only great explanation for why the chicks had nested in the Pyramid Stage, but also brings attention to the necessary wildlife mindfulness people need to adopt in a society that is constantly developing.
Continuing urban expansion, human activity, and development in general invite the possibility of increased wildlife encounters. Therefore, if we keep operating in this human-centric attitude, it could lead to more rescue situations like Axl and Slash that could have been avoided, per Yale School of the Environment.
As for the owl siblings, the two are said to be safe and healthy in the SWWR aviary, per Rolling Stone.
