I always stop by Tous Les Jours to pick up a handful of delicious pastries whenever I go to the Hannam Chain Korean market, since they conveniently share a parking lot. Tous Les Jours is a fine example of everything I love about Korean bakeries in general... just the right amount of sweet, buttery, and milky combined with perfect texture and/or softness. They offer all the typical pastries that you would expect from a Korean bakery. I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied with anything I've ever gotten here. Also, whenever I'm responsible for buying a birthday cake, my default choice is always a Korean cream cake... I believe they call it the Cloud Cake at Tous Les Jours. Seriously, once you have a bit of this cake, there's no going back!
The bakery shop is next to the grocery store, and it carries limited selections of pastry and cakes, where quite a few baskets and racks were empty. The service is fast and contactless payment is convenient, but the soboro bun tasted very dry and old.
This place had some of the friendliest costumer service I've ever received. It is in a predominantly Asian area. It felt amazing to step outside the "norm" spots for Americans. The baked goods were so pillowy and delicious. I look forward to my next visit!
This place was not what I expected... I went with my toddler and I felt rushed by the employees. I also can't believe the piece of small cake I bought was $10... not worth it. Not moist. very dry. I don't mind paying a lot for a dessert that is worth it. This place was just not it..
Do not go They had the audacity to charge me 10 cents for a bag after I spent $25 in pastries This is cheesy and unacceptable I'd rather have them add that price into the pastries instead Very ghetto
Wonderful bakery in K-town LA. Living up to the standard of Tou Les Jours, they produce some of the best butter breads of all sorts that are fluffy, light, and melt in your mouth goodness.
They called it "Chestnut Chunk Bread" And it seems so little chestnut there like a diamond. Maybe it was too pricy if they put more chestnut. This is not what I expected.
Chestnut Chunk Bread
Service was horrible!! Korean lady (Kristin or Christine) at the register was extremely rude! She should not be working there, nasty attitude, talks down to you if you're not Korean. Will not be going back there that's for sure! Others have stated the same experience, beware.
If you are ever in Korea town, make sure you visit Tous Les Jours bakery. Wow! It's a bakery where you can find a huge variety of baked goods and the BEST ginger tea on Earth. I have never in my life before this tasted a ginger tea like the one I had there yesterday! Amazing.
Amazing cakes!!! The only cake that gets finished every time at my parties. They also look very pretty.

This Bakery Chain Is So Much Better Than Whatever You’re Eating
Don't let its french name fool you—it didn't start in europe..
I’m not a big birthday person, but it’s become a tradition that every year that I ask for a cake from a very specific bakery. I love this establishment so much that I’m getting excited just thinking about it, even though my birthday is in April . I’m a big proponent of supporting local bakeries and restaurants, but in the case of this very large bakery chain , I make an exception. No, I don’t buy a Cookie Puss from Carvel. I pick up a cake from Tous Les Jours .

What is tous les jours.
The name is French (it translates to “every day ”), but Tous Les Jours was actually founded in South Korea, and currently has more than 1,650 locations worldwide. It sells a wide array of pastries, sandwiches, and coffee, and everything is made in-house every day, hence the name.
I’m particularly enamored with Tous Les Jour’s sweet- potato -flavored goods, such as buns and, yes, my beloved birthday c ake . These items all feature a unique East Asian sweet potato with off-white flesh called goguma , which has a delicately sweet flavor. T hough sweet potato might seem like an unusual and starchy flavoring for a cake filling, the light touch of its sweetness is, I’m telling you , out of this world.
The savory items are worth exploring, too . You can get sausage buns, chicken salad sandwiches, BLTs, lots of stuff that makes a quick and satisfying lunch. There are also loaves of bread if you’re serving a crowd , as well as a mind-boggling array of buns and coffee drinks to pair with them . It’s a far cry from the sad little vacuum-sealed offerings at those lunchtime grab-and-go-type spots scattered around most major American cities.
If you’ve never had Asian pastries, be aware that they aren’t tooth-achingly sweet (though there’s plenty of sugar involved ). T he cakes, unlike the typical grocery store offerings , are more fluffy and spongy than they are dense. You usually won’t find these items too cloying; they’re just enough, and it leaves you craving more.
Where to find Tous Les Jours
As a chain, Tous Les Jours isn’t quite as ubiquitous as the l ikes of Panera in the United States. Locations are mostly clustered around major metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta . So you urban dwellers have easier access than those in smaller towns—for now. If we all hype this chain, maybe it will have the chance to grow outward. Can you imagine a world free of sad sandwiches at lunch?
If any of you have been to a Tous Les Jours , sound off in the comments. I could use a recommendation for what to grab the next time I’m in, because I have to make sure I don’t cave and get the cake (gotta keep it special by only ordering it once a year).

Go On a Pastry Tour at Tous Les Jours Cafe and Bakery
October 3, 2023.
Earlier this spring we came back from London with a newfound obsession with pastries (thanks to places like Fortitude Bakehouse ), so we’re excited when a new spot like Tous Les Jours opens in Columbus!
Tous Les Jours is a South Korean, French-inspired chain of bakeries and cafes, with dozens of locations all over the world. This new cafe on Olentangy River Road is the only location in Ohio. Their format and offerings remind me of Columbus’ excellent Belle’s Bread , which features Japanese and French delicacies.
Tous Les Jours features a HUGE variety of pastries. To order yours, just grab a tray and tongs, then work your way around the cases.
The whole experience is a delight, mainly because of the spectacular array of baked goods that are regularly replenished.
In our few visits we’ve seen a lot of the same pastries, but new ones always pop up.
And while sweets tend to dominate, there are plenty of savories, like these croissants with cheese and broccoli.
Or these croque madames.
Every pastry is labeled with a name, price, and ingredients. For the quality, we thought the prices were very reasonable.
You’ll see everything from donut twists to a variety of flaky croissants to cheese-filled croquettes.
Hopefully by the end of your visit, your tray will look like this.
On the shelves you’ll also find pre-packaged savories, as well as breads and bottled drinks.
We’d highly recommend visiting as a group so you can share several different pastries.
The cafe also offers cakes and macarons, and a full coffee bar with espresso drinks, frappes, teas, and much more.
Tous les Jours is currently open daily from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
