We traverse the Mountains of Arcadia to ancient Olympia, the site of the first Olympic Games held in 776 BC. This evening, we Connect With Locals joining the Karambellas family for dinner on their olive and wine farm at a Be My Guest experience featuring traditional dancing and characteristic Greek philoxenia.

We join a Local Specialist this morning to delve into centuries of history. We'll visit the ancient Olympic site, the museum and the ruined remains of the Temples of Zeus and Hera. Leaving Olympia, we skirt the coastline north to Patras, crossing the Gulf of Corinth to mainland Greece before continuing to Delphi, our home for the night.

I the outset, let me say that Greece is an AMAZING country: the mileau, the people and the food. Have been to 15 countries, and Greece is in the top 1%. We did the Best of Greece Tour by Trafalgar. Not only was the tour well-priced, we had the best Tour Director ever. Everthing was well-organized, and the Tour Director made each person feel special. So, check out Greece. ..and give Trafalgar a shot. Hsppy traveling!

George picked us up at the airport after a week of volunteering on Lesvos. He quickly cheered us up and got us excited about seeing some of Athens on our last day in Greece. He took us to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium, and the most beautiful overlook of the entire city. George is a true professional and we feel so lucky that he was our guide!

We really had a good experience with George, he took us from and back to the airport to our hotel and also from and back to the port where the cruise ship arrives, all went very well. Nice clean and new Mercedes van/all OK.

We got a very good service with George. We used him twice. A very good driver, so helpfull and nice with us. Even the car was perfect, nothing to say. I recommand really this company to everbody gooing to Athenes. Annika

After a long trip finally I arrive to Athens and get the BEST service from Best travel and the BEST Aristotelis. I really love this time and get full energy. Excellent service with excellent minivan for sure I will use the same company and I highly recommended to anyone!!!

When we got off our cruise ship, we contracted with George Panagiotou to take us to Athens for the day. George was wonderful! He saved us time and money dropping us off at the main sites at least busy times and efficiently gave us the most time for the price. The Mercedes van was new and very luxurious! George was not only a former professional footballer, but proved to be a professional driver and guide as well. It was a great experience providing us with great memories of a lifetime! Thank you George!

As a traveller from USA, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand you will need an adaptor for types C, E, F, D, M. As a traveller from South Africa you will need an adaptor for types C, E, F.
