Here’s how it might look: a vacationer starts their experience from the time their flight commences. The plane descends to the destination runway and pictures of the vicinity from the aircraft window pane are captured. The airport signage welcomes passengers and directs them to a pre-booked taxi. The vacationer gets to choose their first destination and travels through the streets in a chauffeur-driven car whose interactions en route become part of their cherished memories. On arrival, a tourist guide walks you through the destination all controlled with just a tap on your gadget. During the sightseeing, you hear random people speaking, posing for photographs and more. You take a photo to post on social media, go shopping and negotiate with a local vendor to purchase an artwork and get it delivered to your door. You learn how a local dish is prepared and get familiar with local customs.

A virtual platform could even provide an opportunity for people to explore areas that are affected by or fighting terrorism. For example, imagine seeing the diverse wildlife and snow leopard of the Gurez Valley, in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It doesn’t stop there: if thought through, one could experience travelling to the South Pole, space and beyond. It could also serve as a learning portal for students to understand geographies, culture, art and history.

After six months with no work during 2020, Wine Tours Lanzarote flipped its Canaries-based activity business in October to become a UK-registered import/export operation. The gallery incorporates conservation work and native planting schemes, and has virtually launched with works from artists including Glenn Ligon, Mark Bradford and Louise Bourgeois, including the latter’s giant Maman spider sculpture. The headset, dubbed Pimax Reality 12K QLED, is part of the company's venture into the metaverse and a step toward bringing true realism to using VR.

During today's Pimax Frontier event, the company's representatives talked at length about the goals behind the product -- naturalness, self-awareness, and freedom. A virtual tour is an immersive tool that enables travelers to experience an interactive view of your property. Unlike a video, virtual tours use a sequence of 360-degree images compiled together to create a simulation of your property. Virtual tours allow travelers to navigate through your property at their own pace, controlling what they see and where they go next.

To capture your virtual tour, you will need to work with a third-party provider who can provide equipment or photography services. There are four providers who use virtual tour technology integrated with Vrbo so that you can easily add your virtual tour to your listing.

Travelers can access virtual tours on desktop and mobile browsers as well as in the traveler app — anywhere your listing appears! Your completed virtual tour will appear in two places on your property listing page. First, it will appear as the third photo in your photo carousel with a call out box that encourages travelers to click to open the virtual tour viewer. Second, it will appear right after your property description with a prominent image of the live tour and a call out box with a button to “Start Virtual Tour”. An equipment vendor- InsideMaps or Matterport - will provide you with the equipment you need to capture your virtual tour on your own, and then a portal to upload your completed tour and add to your listing. The benefit of self-service is that you can capture unlimited virtual tours on your own schedule. Equipment, pricing, and packages differ, so we recommend you take a look at each provider to determine which will be the best option for you. A professional photographer - TruPlace - will work with you to schedule a professional photographer to capture your tour, and process and upload your completed tour to Vrbo for you. The benefit of full-service is that you can leave the capture process to a professional.

It usually takes a few weeks to complete the entire process of capturing, reviewing, and adding your virtual tour to your listing page. The capture process is the longest step. For self-service vendors, you will need to order and receive your equipment and then capture your tour. For full-service vendors, you will need to schedule a shoot with a professional photographer. Once your tour is captured and approved, it takes 1-2 days to appear on your property listing.

Once your virtual tour is captured, the process to upload to your listing is slightly different between each provider type. InsideMaps and Matterport have login portals where you can manage your tours and directly submit them to upload to your property listing pages on Vrbo websites. SmartShoot and TruPlace ask you to review and approve your completed tour and then they will upload to your property listing pages for you.

Scheduled Counseling - Select the day, time, and mental health provider of your choice. (Up to 3 TimelyCare visits per year. Additional visits can be scheduled with an on-campus counselor.)

Self-Care Content - 24/7 access to self-care tools and resources, such as meditation and yoga sessions, helpful videos, and short articles from experts.

How much does a visit cost?

ESA’s ESTEC Test Centre in the Netherlands is the largest satellite testing site in Europe, equipped with facilities to simulate every aspect of spaceflight.
