The world’s biggest, most comprehensive festival celebrating women, girls and non-binary people is back!

WOW Festivals have now taken place in more than 30 locations across the globe on six continents. The 13th WOW London Festival is a chance to be part of the global movement and see world-class speakers, activists, musicians and comedians all in one place as we come together for three days of life-changing conversations, incredible performances and interactive workshops. Everyone is welcome.

In 2023 the famous WOW Day Pass returns on Friday , Saturday and Sunday . Each day festival-goers can explore a totally different line-up of dozens of talks, workshops, performances, music and more. The immersive experience extends for another 2 years.

In June of this year, we announced that The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience would be relocating to a new London venue, however, soon after our announcement, we had the wonderful and unexpected opportunity to remain at Leadenhall Street for a further two years, which we couldn’t say ‘no’ to. The licensing deal will not only see the experience remain at the original venue but also, as part of the evolving partnership, the production is receiving upgrades including new music sequences and sound design originated by Jeff Wayne, seamlessly integrated into new visual moments in the show. Originally planned for a 3-month run, here we are, almost five years later, and heading for seven. No one would have believed!

Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds is very proud to announce the release of 'Life Begins Again', a song for the times, performed by the cast of the 2022 arena tour:

Strictly Come Dancing's Kevin Clifton , Blue's Duncan James, Steps' Claire Richards , Inglorious' Nathan James, Stage & Screen's Anna-Marie Wayne and The Moody Blues' Justin Hayward.

But why a song for the times? Well, while the world has faced many challenges in recent years, commitment and faith remain at the heart of our chance for the future.

Blizzcon 2023 Schedule & What To Expect

We are now only a few days away from the first in-person Blizzcon since 2019. With this, player expectations are at an all-time high. Leaks & rumors have been flowing from every possible source. While we do not know for sure what Blizzard will announce, tease, or reveal during Blizzcon, we can definitely make some guesses! Make sure to check back for further information as it is revealed.

Starting November 3rd at 11:00 AM PDT (18:00 GMT), the Blizzcon Opening Ceremony will be live. Players can catch this stream on Blizzard’s official Youtube or Twitch channel.

WoW: What’s Next

The opening ceremony is followed by “WoW: What’s Next”. While we do not know for sure, the /r/wow subreddit has recently been discussing the potential leak of 11.0 , featuring the new continent “Avaloren”. While we won’t know for sure if this is true or not until Blizzcon, we do also have reason to doubt this. In September, Gamespot.com interviewed WoW’s game director, Ion Hazzikostas. In this interview Hazzikostas discussed the possibility of another world revamp, and with the games 20th Anniversary happening next year, this might even be closer than we think.

A lot of players are also anticipating the addition of more Support specializations. Augmentation Evoker ended up being a hit with players, but came with the downside of being the only spec currently filling that role. Adding more options for Support players seems like an obvious choice, either as new Specializations entirely, or by revamping less defined specializations.

WoW Classic: What’s Next

After a 1 hour long Overwatch 2 Deep Dive, it’s Classics turn. While nothing is set in stone or confirmed yet, there are a few things that are extremely likely. The first of course being the release of Cataclysm Classic. Releasing Cataclysm is an obvious move, and while there are many players that are vocally opposed to Cataclysm Classic, there are still a lot of players that missed it the first time around and want their chance.

For a lot of people, Cataclysm marks the start of “Modern WoW”. This is primarily because the original world and zones are all heavily revamped. Because of this, a lot of players are hoping for a refreshed outlet to get their Classic content fix. It isn’t unreasonable to expect a followup to Season of Mastery. Hopefully some lessons have been learned and this time around can be a significantly better experience for everyone interested.

As with every time people are waiting for Classic news, talks of Classic+ inevitably follow. While this is definitely something many players are interested in, it still is very unlikely to happen. On the other hand, Chris Metzen is now the “Executive Creative Director of the Warcraft Universe”. This could be followed by renewed interest in further developing Classic WoW and taking it down a different path.

WoW Deep Dive

On November 4th, players will be able to catch the “WoW Deep Dive” panel. During the last in-person Blizzcon back in 2019, this panel covered a lot of details for the yet-to-release Shadowlands expansion. This included expansion specifics such as Covenants and Soulbinds, but also bits and pieces of the thought process for Shadowlands. Things such as reworking the less than satisfying leveling system, as well as overhauling the new player experience.

While we don’t know anything here for sure, this panel happening makes it almost certain that the next expansion will be announced the day before.

Blizzcon Collection

During the virtual Blizzcons we have had the last few years, players have been able to purchase a “virtual ticket”, granting them access to a handful of bonus streams, as well as a bunch of in-game goodies. This year we instead have the Blizzcon Collection, a time limited collection of digital goods for various Blizzard games. This includes things such as Diablo 4 Mounts, Overwatch 2 Skins, Hearthstone Cards, and Warcraft Rumble Skins. For World of Warcraft, players will receive a Ysergle Pet, a Chilling Celebration Banner toy, and a Bound Blizzard flying mount.

These collections come in two variants, the “Epic Pack” costing $29.99 or 29.99€, and the “Legendary Pack” costing $49.99 or 49.99€. You can find the collection available in the battle.net store here .

World of Warcraft Guild Clash

During the convention, there will also be a new event. The World of Warcraft Guild Clash is “an all-day, three-event tournament featuring four of the most formidable guilds from World of Warcraft.” This will start Saturday, November 4th, together with the doors opening at the Anaheim Convention Center and is streamed on the official Warcraft Twitch channel .

This event is split into three separate events, starting with a 3v3 Arena Tournament. Each guild will field a 3v3 team, playing in a single-elimination bracket, best-of-five tournament, with a team knocked out each round. Following the arena tournament is an “MDI-style head-to-head single-elimination format” Mythic Dungeon race. For more information, visit the official post . The final event is yet to be revealed, so make sure to keep an eye out here for further updates!

What night is the Awards Night?

Awards Night: Friday 27 September 2024, 7.30pm

What is a preview?

A preview is a full run of the show in costume, from beginning to end. In theory the director can stop the performance at any time to make changes, but it very rarely happens. Our preview is your chance to see the show before everyone else. It’s great for the budget conscious but good to be aware that competition winners are not announced in these performances.

How long is the show?

Based on previous shows, the performance is approximately 1hr 45mins. There is no intermission.  We will confirm this in August.

The Awards Night show includes an awards ceremony which runs for an additional 40 minutes (approximately). On all performances following Awards Night there will be a short AV presentation of the awards results after the performance which will take approximately 15 minutes.

What parking facilities are available?

There is a car park below the TSB Arena, operated by Wilson Parking. Charges apply. This car park can get very busy, so please allow yourself enough time to find parking elsewhere. If travelling by taxi, we recommend Wellington Combined Taxis - 04 384 4444 .

Can I take photos, video footage or use my cell phone during the show?

The use of videos, cameras, tape recorders and cell phones is prohibited during the show. We do however provide opportunities pre-show in the WOW HUB and with pre-show entertainment to capture your WOW experience. 

Please be considerate of audience members and turn your cell phone off before the show starts.

Can you accommodate wheelchairs and other medical issues?

For medical conditions that may affect where you are seated, please contact us directly. There is wheelchair and easy-access seating available.

While the show's content is suitable for children, we do ask that you consider a few things before making the decision:

• The show goes for approx. 100min with no interval.

Can I buy tickets and use them as a prize for a competition or giveaway?

As per our ticket terms and conditions, tickets may not be packaged or used to enhance the demand for any goods and services or for any other commercial purposes including advertising, promotions or as a prize in any competition without the written permission of WOW.

Can I sell my tickets for more than I paid for them?

As per our ticket terms and conditions, tickets cannot be offered, provided, resold or transferred for a profit (this includes using third party websites such as Viagogo to resell your ticket for an amount greater than its face value).

Are my show tickets refundable?

As per our terms and conditions, tickets are non-refundable. The only instance that show tickets are refundable, is in the event that World of WearableArt Limited cancels the show. For more information, please visit our Ticket Terms . We offer Booking Protect as an optional add on at the time of purchasing your show tickets.

What happens if I have bought tickets but cannot attend the show?

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable for a $25.00 fee, subject to availability. You may transfer your tickets to another night up to three days prior to the show date pending availability and approval. If you do not attend the show as stated on your ticket, then no transfer or refunds will be made.

I’ve forgotten my password to login to my account, how do I see my booking order?

If you’ve forgotten your login password, you can easily reset it by heading to the booking system and selecting the Forgot? button.

I don’t have an account or a password, can I still book tickets?

Yes. If you haven’t previously booked tickets to a World of WearableArt Show, then you will be asked to fill in your contact details when you make your booking. At this stage you will be asked to create an account, which will allow you to log back in and view your booking order at any time. 

If you have booked tickets to a previous World of WearableArt Show, we may already have your email address on file. In this case, your email address may be recognised at the time of booking and you will be prompted to reset your password. When this happens, simply follow the link to the forgotten password page to create your account accordingly.

Are there printed tickets in 2024?

In 2024 there will be no printed tickets. An order confirmation email will be sent immediately to the email address provided at the time of purchase. Your e-tickets will be attached to this email as a PDF file. We will be able to scan your e-ticket from your phone at the Show venue or you are welcome to print your e-ticket and bring this to the Show, if you prefer. Please check your email after you have completed your purchase. If you are unable to locate the email with your ticket attached, please check your spam/junk folder. At any stage if you want to check your booking order you can login to your account to see your purchase or reset your password.

Blizzard Takes the Stage at BlizzCon ® 2023; Announces the Next Three World of Warcraft ® Expansions, First Expansion for Diablo ® IV , a New Overwatch ® hero, and more!

IRVINE, Calif.—November 3, 2023— BlizzCon ® 2023 has kicked off in Anaheim, California, where Blizzard Entertainment celebrated player communities live and in person for the first time in four years at the industry-staple event.

The president of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Ybarra opened this morning’s show by expressing appreciation for the studio’s millions of players around the world. “BlizzCon isn’t just about the latest updates from Blizzard - it’s about all of you. Players are at the forefront of everything we do, and we’re devoted to supporting these incredible communities,” he said. “All of us—gamers, developers, and fans—we are all united in our shared love for gaming.”

Then developers from all of Blizzard’s major titles made announcements during the convention’s opening ceremony. Some of the highlights include:

• The vision for The Worldsoul Saga was announced to players around the world live on stage, including two expansions following The War Within — World of Warcraft ® : Midnight ™ and World of Warcraft ® : The Last Titan ™ .
• Warcraft Rumble ™ , the first Warcraft game designed from the ground up for mobile, is live now on iOS and Android! An action-packed strategy game, Rumble invites players to assemble armies with their favorite characters from the Warcraft universe and battle it out to test their tactical wits. With over 70 unique missions, as well as weekly and monthly challenges in the form of multipart dungeons, PvP, and more, Warcraft Rumble is full of authentic Warcraft vibes, created by a team with deep roots in the game universe.
• World of Warcraft Classic invites players to return to Azeroth once again and begin a new journey—with a twist! In Season of Discovery , players will start a fresh adventure where exploration and experimentation will be key to unlocking new abilities for their characters. Then, in 2024, Classic players will witness the breaking of the world (again) in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic ™ ! Blizzard Entertainment's third World of Warcraft expansion, originally released in December 2010, returns with faster content cadence, improvements to leveling, expanded Collections UI, a new difficulty level for Dungeon Group Finder after launch, and more!
• Two heads are better than one in Hearthstone ® Battlegrounds Duos , an exciting and truly collaborative way to play coming to the popular game mode in 2024. Two players can partner up and strategize together, sharing cards, health, and resources as they work with special Duos cards and synergies to take the crown together!
• Players have a lot more to look forward to this year in Season of Blood, with more end-game experiences and the Midwinter Blight holiday event announced to come before the season concludes.
• Mauga is coming to Overwatch ® 2 as the game’s newest tank hero! Players can experience this new hero during a limited-time trial this weekend before his release in Season 8. The Overwatch team also revealed there’s much more to come, including the brand-new Clash PvP game mode where players will visit the new Hanaoka map, inspired by an original fan favorite, Hanamura.

BlizzCon 2023 is a two-day event, broadcast live from the Anaheim Convention Center on both YouTube and Twitch , with in-person activations and activities that bring developers and players together to celebrate gaming communities across all of Blizzard’s major IP.

World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discovery Announced at BlizzCon 

In Season of Discovery, players will discover new secrets by scouring Azeroth to find class-altering abilities. Tanking Warlocks, Mage healers, and more will be possible. The Season will launch with an initial level cap of 25, and upon reaching max level, players will be met with a new level-25 endgame! Discover a 10-player Blackfathom Deeps raid with new and reimagined bosses, mechanics, and rewards. Not long after, the level cap will be increased by a few levels, bringing even more endgame content.

WoW Classic: Cataclysm Classic Announced at BlizzCon

World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale took to the BlizzCon 2023 stage to announce the next expansion for World of Warcraft Classic. Next year, Classic progression realms will advance from Wrath Classic to Cataclysm Classic, with a few changes based on player feedback and requests.

A Sneak Peek into 2024

In WoW’s current setting, players anticipate three Dragonflight updates as outlined in the 2023 Recap and 2024 Preview. This highly anticipated development precedes the forthcoming release of World of Warcraft: The War Within next year. Updates promise to conclude the expansion story and set the stage for the game’s future. A significant component of this plan is Dragonflight Season 4, set to launch and revisit dungeons, raids, and outdoor content. The season brings updated rewards and innovative elements to captivate and engage players in the evolving WoW universe.

The WoW Team involves the community in shaping the War Within expansion, with alpha and beta tests set for Spring/Summer. January brings the Seeds of Renewal content update, with player feedback from the live public test realms actively being monitored.

In February, WoW Classic prepares updates for Classic Hardcore, adding ‘Self Found’ support for a more challenging experience. Additionally, Cataclysm Classic is on the horizon, slated for release in the first half of the coming year.

Still no hero talents is a joke at this point. Blunderstorm - 2 interns, recycled content - 3 interns, SoD - content already done, they just unlock it. Blizz only have to do real work on TWW, how are they so delayed? And nothing on Alpha either.

On behalf of everyone waiting on hero talents, sorry, but it's because they put so little development time into Shaman that they haven't come up with anything for Totemic or Stormbringer. Therefor they can't show the remaining talents without them. Typical Blizz lol
