Disappointing!

ABCTravel used to be my go-to travel agency, but since travel has resumed post Covid, it’s been a total let down. I’ve been trying to rebook my flight for 1,5 weeks now (my flight is Wednesday) and I still don’t have any sort of real response from ABC. It’s very frustrating! @ABCTravel, my reference code is fgejkf. I appreciate your support as quickly as possible, so I can continue to plan time with my grandparents here in Germany.

misleading prices

So I booked flights to Germany (a single ticket was priced 70 euros less and it said per person) then I went and booked for 6 passengers not realizing that it was 70 euros more expensive per person.I contacted customer service several times to ask about the price discrepancy and to see if I could get the extra 70 euros x 6 refunded. But they were of no help. Instead of answering my question they simply said I stumbled upon a special that won't give you flight details until you pay. That was not my Question. Obviously I got mislead I guess no more booking with ABC Travel

Do not use this travel service

Never, ever, use this travel service. Their policies are beyond comprehension. If the airline you booked with cancels the flight, YOU pay the cancellation fees along with other charges, courtesy of ABC Travel policy. Don't believe me? Ask ABC how much it will cost YOU if the airline cancels the flight. ABC buys the ticket from the airline and then resells it to you. So if the airline cancels the flight, ABC gets full reimbursement, not you. They don't pass that along to you because that would make too much sense and they don't make any money. They are going to charge you about $150 per ticket if the airline cancels the flight. How's that for customer appreciation? You just spent $150 for nothing. Then to add insult to injury, you won't see the remaining balance owed to you for about three months. Never book with these people.

Great Service at ABC Travel

The prices are competitive and the staff in Ramstein (notably Denise) are friendly and professional. I have used ABC on numerous occasions and will continue to use it.

Had my debit card tied up 9 days

Had my debit card tied up for over a week with a double charge that left my card upside down. If you don't have more than 2x the amount needed for your ticket don't use this service. They will give you any excuse to point the blame on anything else including the customer. My charge eventually fell off 9 days later. I'm moving away and it really did ruined my last few days at home before I left. They offered bothing in compensation. I told the "agent" I would not use them again he said "that's fine e we can't force you" this company doesn't want or deserve business. Stay away. To abc my exp with you was adversarial at best. The agent even said that you did nothing to help the charge fell off on its own. Add a warning.

BOOKING GONE WRONG

Hello, I booked a flight for my Daughter and her friend using my Visa back in March 2022 , and again today finding that the payment didn't go through, I have spoken to my bank and also to the airlines and they both explained that it is on your end where the mistake was made. so I did a little checking and found out that the payment was tried to be book from a totally different Visa card not the Card info that was given in the security process. so if the second one shows a mistake the first booking one was probably the same situation. There is no reason for my booking not to go through on my part, but when the wrong credit card information is submitted on your side it will never work , and now I have to deal with the higher costs for the tickets. This is on you so I would expect that it be corrected. Like I stated I have the Info to prove the mistake, and if you would like to see this mistake contact me ASAP. Sincerely Steve Aiwohi

Initial booking was fine. However, the airlines canceled my flight due to COVID-19. Because of the circumstances surrounding that, the airlines said I was entitled to a full refund. The whole time ABC Travel has been assuring me that if the airlines cancelled the flight then I could get a refund without the 60 Euro cancelation fee. But now, the 60 Euro fee is "unavoidable". Bottom line, garbage company, stay away. Take your business somewhere else.

Can someone else pay for my discounted ticket?

Sure, the purchaser of the tickets does not have to be the passenger. Just let our travel agents know who the passenger is and we will take care of the rest.

Can you still get airline miles after booking with ABC Travel?

Let us know if you are collecting airline miles, give us your frequent flyer number and we will make sure that you receive them.

Do you have to call or email or can you also book online?

BEWARE!! If you are military DO NOT USE! I will be reaching out to everyone on the military bases, online, FB everywhere! They will NOT refund your money even if you buy the insurance. So if you are PC'd out they will not honor your tickets!!!

Very unprofessional and poor service

The worst experience ever. I booked a flight had to suspend my flight due to covid. I called to rebook because I had till July 2022 to use my flights. I was told they could not book my flights because they lost control off my tickets to American aiirlines.was told by ABC travel to contact American airlines to book my flights. American airlines said they could not use my suspended tickets from abc travel. I had to book new flights through American airlines for $1900 . I had paid ABC travel $ 15071 for my flights and when ABC travel finally got access to my tickets they would not give me a refund because of their error. I lost over $1000 because they said all they could do for me is cancel my flights. I don't think it was fair or professional from this company due their unavaibilty to complete my contract with them.

Dear Mr. Holbert, Thank you very much for your review. Your flight tickets have been submitted to the airline for reimbursement on your behalf. Your trip has not been canceled by the airline. That’s why a special right of termination under the EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation was out of question. The airline has accepted a refund in exchange for a cancellation fee, which was already paid out to you. A rebooking was unfortunately not possible, as the airline has limited the validity of tickets issued before 31st of March to 31st of March 2022. We also consider this procedure very questionable and do not understand why tickets issued earlier are not subject to same rules as tickets issued after 31st of March. Unfortunately, we do not have any influence on this regulation. We are very sorry about this situation. The original flight could have been rebooked free of charge to a travel date up to the 31st of March 2022. We hope, this situation will change soon and travel regulations plus guidelines will return back to normal Nevertheless, we wish you all the best and stay healthy. Kind regards Your ABC Travel Team
