Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is a land of stunning beauty. Volcanoes steam, salmon run, bears forage, and craggy mountains reflect in shimmering turquoise lakes. Here, too, local people and culture still depend on the land and water. Venture into the park to become part of the wilderness. The brown bear (Ursus arctos) is a large bear species found across Eurasia and North America. In North America, the populations of brown bears are called grizzly bears, while the subspecies that inhabits the Kodiak Islands of Alaska is known as the Kodiak bear. It is one of the largest living terrestrial members of the order Carnivora, rivaled in size only by its closest relative, the polar bear (Ursus maritimus), which is much less variable in size and slightly bigger on average. The brown bear's range includes parts of Russia, Central Asia, the Himalayas, China, Canada, the United States, Hokkaido, Scandinavia, Finland, the Balkans, the Picos de Europa and the Carpathian region (especially Romania), Iran, Anatolia, and the Caucasus. The brown bear is recognized as a national and state animal in several European countries. Brown bear cubs stay with the sow mother for 3-4 years.

Initial liaison with Explore Tours was perfect. The girls understood our needs & took our ideas into consideration AND planned a wonderful tour for us. Basically we wanted accommodation & car rental; we would plan our own excursions. Doing the self-drive though the tour agency presented more leverage with both aspects & we paced ourselves on well-researched excursions. Communication detail was brilliant. Our accommodation was exceptional & car hire went without a hitch. We were particularly enamoured with Denali Grizzly Bear Resort & the Knik River Lodge. Knik River is a delightful, out-of-way area. Alaska is a picture-perfect place & our trip will remain etched in our memories forever. I have already espoused the virtues of Explore Tours to friends & family here in Australia.

The tour needs to give more info about Nome -see comment.

The tour needs to give more info about environment , people & culture of Nome and much less personal life story of the driver/guide. It was more an "ego trip" for the mayor and not really a "tour of Nome".

Denali Park Village has mediocre food…

Denali Park Village has mediocre food and accommodations, at best. The service was very good, however. The company that provided our short airplane ride kept us waiting and took another group (scheduled 2 hours after our group) before us. The result was a shorter ride with fewer expansive views to see. Otherwise, the trip was well-planned and scheduled.

Our trip was well laid out

Our trip was well laid out. In addition, when some small issues popped up they were responsive about handling things (kayaking cancelled due to weather-they got us rescheduled for the next day...).

Our Alaska experience was wonderful

Our Alaska experience was wonderful. The Golden Dome train exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it. The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, the Lakefront Anchorage Lodge and the Harbor 360 Hotel in Seward were all great lodges, each with their unique ambience and spectacular views. The Denali Park Village hotel was good, but their shuttle was slow to pick up arriving passengers. Denali Bluffs Hotel was average. All three boat rides: Mahay's Jet Boat, McKinley Run and Kenai Fjords Natl Park Cruise were great -we highly recommend. And don't miss the tram ride in Girdwood. Thank you Explore Tours. We had a great time and couldn't have done it without you.

My Nome and Teller Day Tour - local guide failed to show up.

My Nome and Teller Day Tour, booked through Explore Tours was a complete failure because the local guide never showed up to pick me up at the predetermined start point and time. I contacted the local tour operator's office and found out that the guide had failed to notice my name on the tour manifest and had already left with the other individuals scheduled for the tour that day. He called me at the end of the day to apologize, which I appreciated. Though perhaps an honest mistake, it was complete failure on the part of the local tour operator to meet their contracted obligations and I expect a full refund for services not rendered.

Great tours!

We enjoyed several days of tours that were very interesting and scenic. Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All tours were as described in itinerary. We especially liked the small group touring.

Unbelievable experience with Explore…

Unbelievable experience with Explore Tours—two weeks in Alaska with many components. Two different trains, hotels, the car rentals, multiple excursions... all flawless due to Heidi and Explore Tours. As a travel agent who used them fir my personal travel too, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Alaska Trip

We visited Alaska and were very impressed how detailed and organized the itinerary was from Explore Tours. Everything went off without a hitch.

Alaska land excursion

Difficulty picking up rental car because it was not shown on invoice that the vehicle had been paid for. Accommodations and all excursions were to our satisfaction. Dining and extra excursion recommendations were on point.

Reply from Explore Tours

Thank you for the return business and the trust you place in Explore Tours. We know you have choices when it comes to travel planning and we’re honored to be your go to local experts. Cheers to the next adventure and we’re here to make the third visit a seamless and comfortable experience when you’re ready. Safe exploring!

Outstanding Experience

We had an outstanding experience with our reservations made by Explore Tours. Everything went smoothly, and it was nice to have hotels and transportation already paid for.

Amazing Adventure Viewing the Auroras

Roberta did a fantastic job planning my small group adventure to Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs. Everything worked out perfectly, even the Northern Lights made a debut during our stay. I will definitely refer other guests to Explore Tours for their Great North Adventures. Thank you!

Planning was excellent. Very responsive to issues that arose with a couple of the activities. You can trust them to do a great job

June 2018 was our third trip to Alaska…

June 2018 was our third trip to Alaska planned with Explore Tours. Each time we found the staff to be knowledgeable, professional, flexible, and timely. Our first two trips were exactly what we wanted and went without a hitch. Our third trip was also exactly what we wanted however we had a hitch on the first leg of our adventure, a hitch which was promptly solved by the Explore Tour staff. Specifically, when we arrive in Anchorage, we discovered our flight to Valdez was cancelled due to weather. We called Explore Tours and told them the situation. They told us they would call back within 15 minutes. They did call back within 15 minutes after they had made an Anchorage hotel reservation for us for the night, canceled our first night's hotel reservation in Valdez and confirmed the 2nd and 3rd nights' stay, and changed our glacier cruise reservation to a day later. They gave us all of this information via telephone and followed up with an email. We were impressed with their prompt, thorough, friendly and professional response. We will return to Alaska again and when we decide to do so, we will use Explore Tours. We recommend them highly.

Thank you for the great review, Janice, and for taking the time to share your experience with other readers. You did have an authentic Alaska experience, in that Mother Nature certainly influences what happens around here. We’re glad that we could be your local resource for some quick problem solving and support to keep the vacation rolling. You took time to visit some fantastic destinations in Alaska, many of which are off the beaten path and off the road system for that matter. A true Alaska adventure most certainly! Also, thank you for taking the time to call and share some of your highlights, feedback, and suggestions after your travels. It’s that kind of collaboration that helps ensure that travel experiences only continue to improve. Happy travels, wherever exploring takes you next!

We expected the cabin at Grizzly Bear Resort to have a kitchenette or at least a small fridge. It was really did not have anything extra then a hotel room. Love the Talkeetna Cabin and the Phantom fishing. The tour plan was great giving you time to drive to your next destination. Alaska was beautiful.

Took a tour in June with a group of coworkers to the Arctic Circle. The tour couch had 24 seats on it and there was 18 on the tour (not all our group), we had plenty of room and the ride was enjoyable. There was plenty of bathroom breaks along the way, and there is a bathroom on the coach if you can't wait to use one on the trip. Our tour guide, Ken, was awesome. He is a musher and knew so much about our journey, Alaska and dog racing. It was fun to ask him questions because he had such interesting stories and experiences to share. We stopped at Yukon River Cafe on the way to the circle and the way back. The meal prices were reasonable (around $10), but you could easily pack a meal and save some money. There's also a gift shop at the cafe and a gift shop owned by the locals in the parking lot if you want local wares. I highly recommend this tour. I'm sure it seems like you can drive to the Arctic Circle on your own, but the road is rough and there's not many services available, so if you need help it may be a while. Oh, and there's no cell phone service once you get about a half an hour north of Fairbanks. Make sure your camera/phone battery is charged!

Made it to the Arctic Circle and had a carpet laid out for photos!

Kyle was a southern gentleman and a fine piece of Alaska man candy. He was great answering question and keeping us hopeful about seeing the lights on the homestead aurora tour. We didn't see the lights but saw beautiful stars. It was memorable. But just wish we saw the lights! Oh and the reading post is nice and warm. A cute little cabin with free hot drinks and cup noodles as well as some puzzles and cards.

I booked a Denali flight tour and when I woke up the morning of the flight, all I saw was a gunmetal sky with a low ceiling. Then when I arrived at the Tour office it started snowing. However, my fears over a possible cancellation was eliminated when we were told it was time to board. We boarded a small 9 passenger plan + 2 pilots. Soon after takeoff, we were above the clouds and on our way to see the mountain. Due to a strong headwind it took about a hour to get there but it was worth it. While the top of the mountain was covered in clouds, the pilot get very close to allow us to see it. He even circled so both sides of the plane was on the mountain side for the best views! On the return flight, he even pointed out a bull moose and a couple cows. A great way to appreciate the vastness of Alaska.

We did an Aurora tour with them. They took us to the a north trading post point for viewing. We can stay warm and go out when the Aurora came out. We saw the wonderful aurora light. Highly recommend!

This was a first class operation. We chose the flight to Coldfoot and the Homestead tour. Our pilot was great (Shane?) and our tour guide (Rob), was awesome. He went out of his way to make it fun and educational. We enjoyed every minute of the tour, learned a lot about the region, and had a blast. I'd recommend these folks very strongly.

The ratings were good therefor me and my friends decided to try this luxury trip to north artic circle. The organization of the tour are hilarious. They have bad communications with their ground transportation companies. They delayed our time for 2 hours and told us we had to cancel our flight with minimal options to change. I will say their organizations are awful due to unexpected road conditions. They have zero adaptation to alternative options. And asked if we want to stay a night at cold foot and come back the other day at 3-4 pm. Which was ridiculous because it's ruins my other plans. Let's hope people who attend this tour have good lucks unlike us. (Worst thing is their pilots attitude, due to the delay the pilots doesn't want to wait for us and had to leave at 2 and force us to choose within 15 minutes)

Love the whole Northern Alaska Tour Company! My whole experience from calling to book the tour, to checking in, and the tour itself was awesome. Genevieve our tour guide was good. Despite things happening a little disastrously everything was good. Our tour bus kept giving stop engine warning and no one knew why this was happening. Our tour guides microphone broke as well so there was no commentary on the return trip. We managed to return to Joy and then Fairbanks. We also heard that the tour bus before us broke down so our bus giving us technical glitches was worrying. Please allow some time for such glitches in case there are some technical difficulty and delay in your trip. However, having pointed out all the negatives. I should highlight some of the positives. The tour guide, Paul, was nice. He handled the Joy portion pretty nicely. The drivers/guides were very informative and knew the local surrounding, wildlife and biology. The only complaint is that there was no mention about the native communities and how they have used the wildlife to survive. There were no mention of the local myths and legends.

We rented "Arctic Outfitters" car which I believe is a sister company of Northern Alaska Tour Company. - The car was clean (and it means a lot given what Dalton can do to your car). - The staff was very helpful and gave me very detailed instructions about the car and road and what to expect. - The road itself was pretty easy drive. I could have done the drive in 1 day. - Car was well services and had new tires so the drive was very smooth. Things to keep in mind: Do not book stay with them. Just book the car. - Coldfoot camp is around $219 per night. You might get cheaper stay at Wiseman which is 16 miles from coldfoot. - Deadhorse camp rooms are not very good and far too expensive for the price. Deadhorse actually has many hotels and far better in room quality and food. We got a 7 course buffet meal at Purdhoe bay hotel for mere $20. Purdhoe bay hotel is $130 per night where as Deadhorse camp is $200 a night.

This is a very professional company. They were very helpful with questions prior to the trip as well as during. I opted for the arctic circle drive tour with the best tour guide being put in charge of our group. Carole was great at keeping us entertained with stories, history of the area and pipeline as well as knowing some great spots to stop for photos. We experienced a wide range of weather temps, light snow, crazy thick fog and a few slick spots on the icy roads but Carole was very comfortable driving through these conditions and I felt safe and in competent hands The only fuss I had is that as soon as the northern lights started to dance across the sky we were told to board the bus and we moved on. The primary show was missed instead of letting us stay and watch. The primary part of this trip to me was to see the lights for more than just 5 minutes but that's all I got. We did stop at one other place along the highway to watch but one lady in the group was complaining she was tired so the entire trip had to come to an end. If I could have a do over I would have gone back early and done the lights on my own. It turned out to be a big waste of money with us not being able to actually stay out and enjoy them.

Visiting Alaska had been a dream for years, and this was a jewel of a trip from start to finish. There were several highlights, one of which was my flight over the Arctic Circle to Coldfoot and back on 3/15/2011. From the very first phone call to the final landing and certificate presentation, I found everyone to be helpful and informative. You can tell the entire staff really enjoys what they do. Kathy made sure to give me all the information I needed on the initial phone call, and was most welcoming when I arrived for the flight. Todd, the pilot, had a lot of stories to tell as well as interesting information about the amazing sights we passed along the way. On arrival in Coldfoot, guide Matt was very pleasant and fun; we stopped at the Pipeline for picture taking, then after a brief drive we stopped at a dog musher's in time to see a group of sled dogs taking off. After that, back to the diner for a quick bite and then on the plane again for another gorgeous return flight to Fairbanks. In addition to a great flight/drive with friendly staff, it was a spectacular day weather-wise. On returning to Fairbanks another staff member, Matt A., recommended a couple of places for me to see prior to departure--these stops also added a lot to my trip. To sum it all up: Great staff, terrific flight, and amazing vistas. Couldn't have asked for more. Definitely "two thumbs up" !

Alaska Tour Reviews & Testimonials from Our Travelers

This was the most organized, well-planned trip ever!! Every single detail, right down to clothes to bring, was superb. This trip fit our wishes of wilderness, wildlife, and adventure to a T!!

Everything about this trip was outstanding. The guides, the accommodations, the food and everything!! Every adventure was very organized and each guide was well versed and obviously loved their jobs.

We absolutely loved this trip. The planning, communication, and coordination were seamless, and the many people with whom we interacted--from guides to waitstaff, cooks, and drivers--were knowledge, flexible, helpful, and pleasant. They all appeared to enjoy their jobs and to take pleasure in helping us appreciate Alaska's flora, fauna, and stunning natural environment as much as they do.

The care this company has given to preserving the pristine quality of the wilderness while still showing clients the best the area has to offer, and a comfortable stay is really top drawer.

Ultimate Alaska Adventure was beyond expectations! All the lodges and activities were outstanding!

Clear, smooth instructions, info, and transfers, which all were very helpful to us (since we usually book our own travel, it was new using an agency, and really nice!). Every single day in both Denali and on the cruise was simply full of wonder. Had amazing views of Denali, and tons of wildlife both on land and from cruise.

This was the most organized, well-planned trip ever!! Every single detail, right down to clothes to bring, was superb. When we arrived at Denali, the North Face Lodge folks knew who we were and where we were going to stay with our room assignment.

We most enjoyed the lodge's sense of community. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, even on the hikes. The hikes were tremendous! UnCruise was exceptional! They slowed down, pulled over, and even stopped the engines to get as close to wildlife as possible. The weather was so good that we went into harbors and inlets they hadn't gotten to go to all summer.

Anchorage was beautiful and we enjoyed our extra day there, biking the trail and going to the museum. We had great companions on each trip, but there were many Australians having the best time of their lives on the cruise. They really know how to party!! Juneau is very much a tourist trap but we still enjoyed fighting the big ship people and looking around. We also liked Mendenhall Glacier and getting close to the waterfalls there.

We did not want a vacation of just sitting around watching the world go by (although there is a time for that as well!) but rather we wanted to be active to the extent that we could. At Denali and on the cruise we could choose what activity fit our level, and it turned out perfect. This trip fit our wishes of wilderness, wildlife, and adventure to a T!!

Accommodations Review

Superb! Top-notch cleaning of our rooms.

Meals Review

Every meal at North Face was outstanding! Much of it was grown on-site and was fixed and presented beautifully. They even picked wild blueberries and made blueberry tarts!!

The cruise meals were good as well, but you can't get that fresh quality on a boat like you can on land. They were very timely served and hot things were hot and cold things were cold. I was full every day!

Crew & Guides Review

I cannot remember our moderate hike guides' names at North Face Lodge, but both were excellent and very knowledgeable! John made a most superb leader, along with Andi, and were gentle with their bell before announcements.

Katie, Dani, Sarah, really all the crew on board the Wilderness Adventurer were beyond great. They were also knowledgeable and helpful. They were highly trained and had kind, fun-loving spirits.

AdventureSmith Explorations Review

Most excellent! We were well prepared for this trip, right down to the rubber boots, which we really didn't need on the boat because they had plenty of all sizes. But our boots came in handy for the rest of the trip. Shuttles, buses, flights, trains, really every mode of transportation was on time and had friendly drivers.

I can't thank you enough for the best vacation I have ever had. When I had questions, you either called me or emailed me in a timely manner, which alleviated any concerns I had.

I know at least three people who want to "pick my brain" about this trip, and you will be highly recommended.

Everything about this trip was outstanding.  The guides, the accommodations, the food and everything!!  Every adventure was very organized and each guide was well versed and obviously loved their jobs.

We were happy that we had one of the two cabins at the Backcountry Lodge that had its own plumbing.  But it would not have been horrible to have to use the bath house. Again, all of the vessels, vans and vehicles were clean and well taken care of.  Each of the guides on each vehicle was great as well.

All of the food was incredible as evidenced by coming home at least 10 pounds heavier.  The Kenai Backcountry and Kenai Fjords were the best. We appreciated that all of the food was provided.  Even snacks--fantastic snacks. One of the best meals was the picnic along the Kenai River.  The guides prepared lunch for us and it was delicious.

We totally loved our guide, Julie.  WOW!!!  She knows so much, she is so enthusiastic, she made the trip!!  Heidi our rafting guide was great, enthusiastic and loved her job.  Kirsten the bus driver into the Kantishna Lodge in Denali was so enjoyable.  We all were impressed not only by her knowledge, but also by her eagle eye spotting animals.  Johnny at the Backcountry Lodge and River Rafting guide was super as well.

We were prepared!  Your lists were very useful.  Your advise was right on target.  Getting booked into the trip through AdventureSmith was fine and Aaron answered all of our questions and was very helpful.

The lodges varied significantly in terms of locations and special features, but each provided a special environment for experiencing Alaska. The Wilderness Lodge, lacking running water or electricity in the rooms, was challenging in some respects. Getting up at 2:00 am and walking through cold dark woods to common toilet facilities wasn't particularly pleasant, but the lodge's remote location and rustic ambiance compensated. Moreover, two members of our group who had been looking unsuccessfully for the northern lights, accident found them one night on their way to the toilet. Thus a negative became a positive.

The lodges in the Alaska Wildland part of the trip stand out in regard to meals. Chefs at each lodge were both happy to accommodate our "pescatarian" preferences and available to discuss menus and recipes. Indeed, the chef at the Wilderness Lodge spent a good deal of time sharing some recipes we particularly enjoyed. The quality of food at these Wildlands lodges far exceeded our expectations.

Our trip leader in the Wildlands Collections was Christine. We have never met anyone as well-suited for her job as Christine. She brought new meaning to the word "enthusiastic," and she was incredibly well-prepared. She communicated clearly and at the right time so that we were always prepared for next steps and so that we would have an opportunity to share our needs or preferences with her. She seemed able to meet every need. Truly a wonderfully skilled and smart individual. All the guides were knowledgeable and personable--excellent in every respect--but two who stand out in our memories were KayDee in the Alaska Wildlands and Kerstein at the Kantishna Roadhouse. KayDee was remarkable for her flexibility and especially her willingness and ability to fit hikes to the widely varying needs of different individuals. Hiking with Kerstein was like attending a college class in the wilderness, and one taught by a charismatic and exciting teacher. She made even the most drab looking plant or dull rock interesting.

Excellent. Tiffany is a marvel of organization and communication. We were never confused or surprised by any of the connections in our complicated trip.

1. Use AdventureSmith. 2. Fly from Kantishna to the park headquarters. 3. Take advantage of every opportunity provided to enjoy the outdoors with guides.

Alaska Wildland Adventures is a top notch company. All employees were excited about their jobs, friendly, helpful, eager to share their knowledge about the area, wildlife, etc.. The care this company has given to preserving the pristine quality of the wilderness while still showing clients the best the area has to offer, and a comfortable stay is really top drawer.

The Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge was gorgeous! Very impressive facility, in a breathtaking environment. Wildlife sightings very exciting. Activities were well planned, with excellent and knowledgeable guides. Backcountry Lodge was excellent in every way with the exception of the challenge of not having bathrooms in the individual cabins. Hiking to the bathroom in the middle of the night (in a place where they were concerned about bear encounters !) might be OK at scout camp, but not so much as a middle age or older adult.

Elias was very thoughtful, pleasant, knowledgeable, in every way a perfect gentleman, constantly showing awareness and thoughtful concern for the welfare, comfort, and pleasure of his clients.

Aaron was wonderful, organized and always answered questions quickly and professionally!  Very helpful!

Clear, smooth instructions, info, and transfers, which all were very helpful to us (since we usually book our own travel, it was new using an agency, and really nice!). Every single day in both Denali and on the cruise was simply full of wonder. Ending with the day at the glacier was outstanding. Had amazing views of Denali, and tons of wildlife both on land and from cruise.

Very happy with all. Special shoutout to cruise hotel manager, who immediately moved us to a different cabin when our shower wasn't working (glad they had space) -- a slightly larger cabin at no extra charge to us. Handled promptly and professionally. Also, in the "over the top" department, when we arrived the steward pointed out the distilled water for my husband's cpap.  He actually doesn't use the water part, but the fact they thought of it/knew about it and provided it was quite the touch.

Food was awesome everywhere, stellar at Kantishna, but even more stars on the cruise. OMG. Really loved always having a meat option since I'm not a fish eater. Loved the open bar on the cruise.

The bus driver to Kantishna was superb (Krysten). Knew SO much and was so enlightening and entertaining. Guides at lodge all great.  Guides on the cruise to a person who fantastic; so knowledgable and so much fun.

A million questions always answered, thank you! You suggested a land trip which was so fantastic, really glad we splurged for that. I wore the BUFF that AdventureSmith sent every day, have never had one, what a perfect thing.

Kantishna says "only one 35 lb soft side bag" for ride into lodge, but you can definitely have a personal item as well. That helped to figure that out. Cruise did (as you mentioned) have tons of rain boots that fit (granted, there were only 49 passengers on our trip).  They also had plenty of trekking/hiking poles, so we could have left those at home.

Definitely take warm clothes, there was one day I wore almost everything.  Another day I kayaked in a tshirt, so go figure. There was one guy on the cruise who "didn't know I needed a raincoat."  Jeepers. Also: splurge and take the cruise, yes very expensive, but truly the trip of a lifetime - you see so much in Alaska that you won't see other places.

Alaska Airlines was named America's favorite airline for the 2nd year in a row — months after a hole blew in the side of one of its planes

  • A major consumer survey found that Alaska Airlines is the most popular airline in the US for the second year running.
  • The airline topped the American Customer Satisfaction Index, despite its infamous panel blowout in January.
  • Overall, US air travel customers were happier than last year with their experiences.

Insider Today

Alaska Airlines is the most popular airline in the US for the second year running, according to a major consumer survey.

The airline comfortably topped the annual American Customer Satisfaction Index with a score of 82, a one-point improvement compared to 2023.

American Airlines was second with 79 points, while low-cost carrier Allegiant Air beat better-known legacy names like United and Delta to take third place. Allegiant registered a four-point rise in overall customer satisfaction, making it one of the fastest climbers this year.

United Airlines was the only carrier to lose ground, sliding three points to a score of 75.

The index, which has been running since 1994, tracks customer satisfaction across five travel industries — airlines, car rentals, lodging, online travel agencies, and ridesharing platforms.

Related stories

To determine the rankings, 16,352 customers were asked to rate their experiences with companies based on nineteen different factors, such as ease of making a reservation, check-in process, cleanliness of cabin and lavatory, courtesy and helpfulness of flight crew, and timeliness of arrival. By collating this information, the American Customer Satisfaction Index says it provides a "definitive measure of passenger satisfaction."

Alaska Airline's top ranking comes despite the airline's nightmare safety incident in January 2024, during which a decommissioned door plug flew off during one of its flights at an altitude of 16,000 feet.

The plane, a Boeing 737 Max 9 made a safe landing back at Portland International Airport 35 minutes after takeoff, with all 177 people on board surviving.

14 passengers on the flight have since filed a class-action lawsuit against Boeing and Alaska Airlines, asking for monetary damages to cover injuries sustained during the incident and claims that some oxygen masks malfunctioned.

US airlines are getting better

Overall, the data found that customers were increasingly happy with airline travel, with ratings for all nineteen areas of customer satisfaction across airlines either improving or staying level with responses from 2023.

The polled customers were particularly happy with app services, the ease of making reservations, and airlines' websites, pointing to the importance of developing customer-friendly technology offerings.

As they become happier with travel experiences, customers are also travelling more. This February, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported a 21.5% rise in global air passengers compared to the previous year.
