BELLISSIMA VACANZA

Ottima Struttura , pulita e ben tenuta . Spazi verdi , piscina incantevole con angolo idromassaggio . CUCINA SUPERLATIVA , PERSONALE GENTILISSIMO , sempre pronti ad accontentarti con il sorriso. Tutti , dalla reception ai bagnini ai camerieri agli chef alle inservienti alo staff animazione. Mare subito fondo purtroppo ma comunque bello . Consiglio se si ha la possibilità di visitare l adiacente cala pira a pochi minuti di macchina.

Mi è arrivata mail con sconto del 35 % su villaggio baia di conte in Sardegna salvo poi verificare che il loro preventivo era addirittura più caro di quello del villaggio

Vacanza fantastica!!!

Vacanza fantastica in posto incantevole. Alltours ti segue passo passo fino all'inizio della vacanza (con tanto di messaggio di augurio). Tutto quello che era riportato in descrizione sul sito, è avvenuto al 100%. Cosa dire dunque oltre al fatto che sicuramente ci riappoggeremo a loro? Complimenti alltours!!! Assolutamente consigliato

La struttura e tutto il personale sono risultati ben al di sopra delle nostre aspettative!!! Siamo sempre stati accolti con dei grandi sorrisi, gentilezza e professionalità, soprattutto nella sala pranzo/cena con la carinissima Flavia e il metre. Davvero un ottima esperienza, tutto super pulito, cibo di primissima scelta e un mare da cartolina!!!! Straconsigliato

Struttura fantastica

Struttura fantastica, con ristoranti, bar, campi sportivi, piscina con scivoli, parco giochi per bambini e spiaggia adiacente. Bellissima vista sul mare. Cucina ottima e fantastica animazione, composta da professionisti del mondo dello spettacolo e guidata da Massimiliano Miele ed Enzo Polidoro. Esperienza da ripetere.

Se ci fossero 10 stelle le meriterebbero tutte! Inutile dire mare fantastico, struttura bella nuova pulita, cibo ottimo, sono anni che soggiorno in questo villaggio e continuerò ogni volta che deciderò di passare una settimana in Sardegna. Ma la cosa più bella, sono stati loro... La reception tutte le ragazze e ragazzi e il loro coordinatore ci hanno aiutato in ogni modo al rientro anticipato causa un lutto improvviso. Davvero umani e gentili. Grazie ancora ❤️

Splendida vacanza in costa Rej in un ottimo resort…

Puntuali nella consegna dei biglietti traghetto. Bellissimo resort immerso nel verde con camere pulite ed ottimo trattamento di colazione, pranzo e cena. Per raggiungere il bellissimo mare 10 min. a piedi oppure efficiente navetta elettrica. Ottima vacanza da ripetere molto volentieri.

Ottima capacità di risolvere i problemi. La GNV con messaggio il giorno della partenza alle 12.00 ci ha avvisato che saremmo partiti da Genova ma saremmo arrivati ad Olbia anziché Porto Torres a 150 km da Stintino dove avremmo soggiornato anziché 30 km. Dopo 15 minuti siamo stati contattati direttamente da Alltours che ci ha proposto cambio nave con Moby con partenza rimandata 2 ore più tardi e arrivo alla medesima ora a Porto Torres. In un ora sulla mia mail avevo i nuovi biglietti. Assistenza ottima, efficiente e gentili.

Buongiorno dalle foto publicate sul sito non risulta il vero, camere e mobilio anni 90, box doccia e lavabo otturati.Piscina senza automazione di pulizia, sporco evidente sulle piastrelle interno piscina, sdraio bordo piscina insufficienti. Per non parlare dei prezzi delle bibite “ una vera rapina “. L’unica sufficienza il mangiare. Non credo che ci tornerò, e di certo non potrò farne una buona pubblicità! 😡

Calanè e bluserena non si sbaglia mai

La Puglia è una regione bellissima e una settimana non basta per vederla quasi tutta. Abbiamo visitato Alberobello Ostuni Altamura Punta prosciutto (meravigliosa) e abbiamo fatto un salto a Matera. Abbiamo soggiornato al Calanè Village di Bluserena e ci siamo trovati benissimo sotto tutti gli aspetti.

We recently completed the 7-day Southwest Highlights tour. Everything about the tour exceeded our expectations. The itinerary, accommodations and the travel experience were first rate. Our tour guide, Marie, was so knowledgeable, informative and well organized. She kept us updated about the schedule and activities for each day, provided a fantastic picnic lunch spread for each day, and was a wealth of knowledge regarding each area that we visited, as well as the history of the people. A great tour! One day in each park was just enough to give us a sense of the grandeur of each of them. People taking the tour with us were great, and our guide was very knowledgeable. We were given options so that those who wanted to do things on their own could do so, while those that remained with the group stayed with the guide and learned about the history, geology, etc. This was the first time I took a vacation with a tour group, and I was very glad that I did because I learned more than I would have if I had explored the parks on my own.

We had a wonderful tour. Our tour guide was John Harris, he did an outstanding job making sure everyone had a great experience, had enough water and went out of his way too accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. We would highly recommend taking this tour, leave all the worries to your tour guide just sit back be driven to all the parks with lunch and snacks provided each day. Great way to experience the parks.

Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Adventure

Tim was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and always upbeat. Time with the wildlife expert was phenomenal. the tour itself was excellent. The good ranking has to do with communications from Intrepid Travel, which were poor and lead to changed air flights and other headaches.

Mighty 5 From Salt Lake City

Wynn was a wonderful guide. Hotels were very nice. No complaints about anything. This is an amazing adventure and the entire trip was flawless.

Majestic Alaska (10 Days)

In general things went very well. However, At the Denali location there was a shortage of staff which prevented full service at the Park, Ie. not all dinning venues were normal and our room service such as daily service was missing. We were told, staff shortage due to Canadian employees may have left due to concern of border being closed into Canada. Hotel dysfunction on a limited basis due to that concern. On our last day at the Anchorage Hilton room service was missing also. Not sure why. Most other activities were well supplied/performed. We were pleased.with our Tour Director Tyler, Bus Driver Les and Health coordinator Carol., Some other venues were a bit restricted due to COVID-19 concerns which appear to be out of control of Tourradar. We loved Valdez,, Fairbanks, Anchorage and Kanai Fjords National Park, as well as the Athabascan Village and flat boat ride and other amenities such as the Husky Dog Farm. Overall pleased, except as noted above. The weather cooperated 100%.

Our Tour guide, Wayne, was fantastic! He went above and beyond; to make sure we were comfortable on the bus and on the tours! He also got us as close as he could when there were animal sightings! Lane, our driver, was also an excellent driver; and he kept us safe on the narrow and winding Mountain roads! Hats off to these two!

Traveling abroad for a vacation sounds like an amazing idea until the moment you start organizing the trip and planning the details. That’s where many tourists get frustrated as it becomes quite hard to decide which places are worth visiting and how to fit everything into your schedule which is very often time limited.

For that reason, many tourist agencies organize tours to help tourists get the most from their trips. Tourist agencies often offer escorted tours or private tours, depending on your preferences, whether to travel with a group or to have a private guide for yourself.

If you are interested in traveling with a group, here are some basics you need to know before you choose this option.

What are escorted tours?

Escorted tours are essentially group tours to a destination. Travel agencies offering escorted tours plan all of the details of the tour – flights, transportation, hotels, etc. Escorted tours are executed by a tour director who travels with the group throughout the tour and ensures that it goes as planned and that the clients have someone that can take care of any issues that arise. They provide the customer service on site.

Who goes on escorted tours?

People who often decide to join an escorted tour are those who prefer to travel in a group and do not seek that much privacy. They love to make new friendships with the people they meet on their trip. They love to be carefree in terms of organizing and planning so they can enjoy a trip as much as possible. They prefer having someone providing them information about the visited place and learning about its history rather than studying details alone (due to the lack of free time to do so or some other reasons).

What are the tour guides like?

The tour guides are often government certified, extremely knowledgeable, well-trained and experienced individuals who make sure all the people in the group enjoy their visit to a place, provide information about the visited site and talk to the tourists and answer their questions if they have some. They are outgoing, empathetic persons with great humor and communication skills, and passionate about their job.

What is included in escorted tours?

If you choose an escorted tour for your next trip, these are the things you can usually expect to be included: transportation, flights, transport to/from the airport and hotel, sightseeing and most meals. Compared to private tours and self-planned tours, escorted tours are mostly cheaper and you have a chance to see other places you wouldn’t be able to see if travelling on your own.

What kind of hotels do you stay at?

Accommodation depends on the tourist agency. Some of the agencies offer luxurious hotels, while others offer basic accommodation. It greatly depends on the price of the tour. If the luxurious hotels are included, then expect the price of the tour to be a bit more expensive compared to those that are cheaper. The cheaper the price of the tour the less luxurious accommodation you can expect.

What about the meal options?

When it comes to the meal options, most meals with the group are included. You can expect to try local food and tourist-friendly food in many restaurants. Depending on a tour, you may have some extra free time on your own and therefore all meals might not be included. If interested, you can explore the local cuisine or look for more international restaurants or spend the time according to your other preferences.

What’s the itinerary?

A travel itinerary is a document which tells you how the trip is planned, including destinations that are planned to be visited, how you’ll get there, and how long you will be staying. You can study the itinerary as you look into the tour, to learn if it is the best one for you. All agencies make sure to post it on their website. Study it thoroughly, and make sure to be wary of itineraries that don’t go into much detail, or tell you what’s included, and what isn’t. Also, pay attention to the wakeup time, as some tours will take place early in the morning.

How much activity is involved?

Activity depends on a tour. Senior tours or senior friendly tours are more relaxed and leisurely. Those designed for younger tourists can include hiking, long walks or some sport activities if interested.

What about deposit and cancellation policy?

Many tourist agencies require payment in advance, or at least some percentage of it. The cancellation policy also varies. It’s important to check the details with the company before booking a tour. In case of an emergency, you will want your money back. Also keep in mind that most reputable agencies offer travel insurance which is a good idea to purchase in the event you need to cancel for any reason!

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

The Moscow Metro Museum of Art: 10 Must-See Stations

There are few times one can claim having been on the subway all afternoon and loving it, but the Moscow Metro provides just that opportunity.  While many cities boast famous public transport systems—New York’s subway, London’s underground, San Salvador’s chicken buses—few warrant hours of exploration.  Moscow is different: Take one ride on the Metro, and you’ll find out that this network of railways can be so much more than point A to B drudgery.

The Metro began operating in 1935 with just thirteen stations, covering less than seven miles, but it has since grown into the world’s third busiest transit system ( Tokyo is first ), spanning about 200 miles and offering over 180 stops along the way.  The construction of the Metro began under Joseph Stalin’s command, and being one of the USSR’s most ambitious building projects, the iron-fisted leader instructed designers to create a place full of svet (radiance) and svetloe budushchee (a radiant future), a palace for the people and a tribute to the Mother nation.

Consequently, the Metro is among the most memorable attractions in Moscow.  The stations provide a unique collection of public art, comparable to anything the city’s galleries have to offer and providing a sense of the Soviet era, which is absent from the State National History Museum.  Even better, touring the Metro delivers palpable, experiential moments, which many of us don’t get standing in front of painting or a case of coins.

Though tours are available , discovering the Moscow Metro on your own provides a much more comprehensive, truer experience, something much less sterile than following a guide.  What better place is there to see the “real” Moscow than on mass transit: A few hours will expose you to characters and caricatures you’ll be hard-pressed to find dining near the Bolshoi Theater.  You become part of the attraction, hear it in the screech of the train, feel it as hurried commuters brush by: The Metro sucks you beneath the city and churns you into the mix.

With the recommendations of our born-and-bred Muscovite students, my wife Emma and I have just taken a self-guided tour of what some locals consider the top ten stations of the Moscow Metro. What most satisfied me about our Metro tour was the sense of adventure .  I loved following our route on the maps of the wagon walls as we circled the city, plotting out the course to the subsequent stops; having the weird sensation of being underground for nearly four hours; and discovering the next cavern of treasures, playing Indiana Jones for the afternoon, piecing together fragments of Russia’s mysterious history.  It’s the ultimate interactive museum.

Top Ten Stations (In order of appearance)

Kievskaya station.

Kievskaya Station went public in March of 1937, the rails between it and Park Kultury Station being the first to cross the Moscow River.  Kievskaya is full of mosaics depicting aristocratic scenes of Russian life, with great cameo appearances by Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin.  Each work has a Cyrillic title/explanation etched in the marble beneath it; however, if your Russian is rusty, you can just appreciate seeing familiar revolutionary dates like 1905 ( the Russian Revolution ) and 1917 ( the October Revolution ).

Mayakovskaya Station

Mayakovskaya Station ranks in my top three most notable Metro stations. Mayakovskaya just feels right, done Art Deco but no sense of gaudiness or pretention.  The arches are adorned with rounded chrome piping and create feeling of being in a jukebox, but the roof’s expansive mosaics of the sky are the real showstopper.  Subjects cleverly range from looking up at a high jumper, workers atop a building, spires of Orthodox cathedrals, to nimble aircraft humming by, a fleet of prop planes spelling out CCCP in the bluest of skies.

Novoslobodskaya Station

Novoslobodskaya is the Metro’s unique stained glass station.  Each column has its own distinctive panels of colorful glass, most of them with a floral theme, some of them capturing the odd sailor, musician, artist, gardener, or stenographer in action.  The glass is framed in Art Deco metalwork, and there is the lovely aspect of discovering panels in the less frequented haunches of the hall (on the trackside, between the incoming staircases).  Novosblod is, I’ve been told, the favorite amongst out-of-town visitors.

Komsomolskaya Station

Komsomolskaya Station is one of palatial grandeur.  It seems both magnificent and obligatory, like the presidential palace of a colonial city.  The yellow ceiling has leafy, white concrete garland and a series of golden military mosaics accenting the tile mosaics of glorified Russian life.  Switching lines here, the hallway has an Alice-in-Wonderland feel, impossibly long with decorative tile walls, culminating in a very old station left in a remarkable state of disrepair, offering a really tangible glimpse behind the palace walls.

Dostoevskaya Station

Dostoevskaya is a tribute to the late, great hero of Russian literature .  The station at first glance seems bare and unimpressive, a stark marble platform without a whiff of reassembled chips of tile.  However, two columns have eerie stone inlay collages of scenes from Dostoevsky’s work, including The Idiot , The Brothers Karamazov , and Crime and Punishment.   Then, standing at the center of the platform, the marble creates a kaleidoscope of reflections.  At the entrance, there is a large, inlay portrait of the author.

Chkalovskaya Station

Chkalovskaya does space Art Deco style (yet again).  Chrome borders all.  Passageways with curvy overhangs create the illusion of walking through the belly of a chic, new-age spacecraft.  There are two (kos)mosaics, one at each end, with planetary subjects.  Transferring here brings you above ground, where some rather elaborate metalwork is on display.  By name similarity only, I’d expected Komsolskaya Station to deliver some kosmonaut décor; instead, it was Chkalovskaya that took us up to the space station.

Elektrozavodskaya Station

Elektrozavodskaya is full of marble reliefs of workers, men and women, laboring through the different stages of industry.  The superhuman figures are round with muscles, Hollywood fit, and seemingly undeterred by each Herculean task they respectively perform.  The station is chocked with brass, from hammer and sickle light fixtures to beautiful, angular framework up the innards of the columns.  The station’s art pieces are less clever or extravagant than others, but identifying the different stages of industry is entertaining.

Baumanskaya Statio

Baumanskaya Station is the only stop that wasn’t suggested by the students.  Pulling in, the network of statues was just too enticing: Out of half-circle depressions in the platform’s columns, the USSR’s proud and powerful labor force again flaunts its success.  Pilots, blacksmiths, politicians, and artists have all congregated, posing amongst more Art Deco framing.  At the far end, a massive Soviet flag dons the face of Lenin and banners for ’05, ’17, and ‘45.  Standing in front of the flag, you can play with the echoing roof.

Ploshchad Revolutsii Station

Novokuznetskaya Station

Novokuznetskaya Station finishes off this tour, more or less, where it started: beautiful mosaics.  This station recalls the skyward-facing pieces from Mayakovskaya (Station #2), only with a little larger pictures in a more cramped, very trafficked area.  Due to a line of street lamps in the center of the platform, it has the atmosphere of a bustling market.  The more inventive sky scenes include a man on a ladder, women picking fruit, and a tank-dozer being craned in.  The station’s also has a handsome black-and-white stone mural.

Here is a map and a brief description of our route:

Start at (1)Kievskaya on the “ring line” (look for the squares at the bottom of the platform signs to help you navigate—the ring line is #5, brown line) and go north to Belorusskaya, make a quick switch to the Dark Green/#2 line, and go south one stop to (2)Mayakovskaya.  Backtrack to the ring line—Brown/#5—and continue north, getting off at (3)Novosblodskaya and (4)Komsolskaya.  At Komsolskaya Station, transfer to the Red/#1 line, go south for two stops to Chistye Prudy, and get on the Light Green/#10 line going north.  Take a look at (5)Dostoevskaya Station on the northern segment of Light Green/#10 line then change directions and head south to (6)Chkalovskaya, which offers a transfer to the Dark Blue/#3 line, going west, away from the city center.  Have a look (7)Elektroskaya Station before backtracking into the center of Moscow, stopping off at (8)Baumskaya, getting off the Dark Blue/#3 line at (9)Ploschad Revolyutsii.  Change to the Dark Green/#2 line and go south one stop to see (10)Novokuznetskaya Station.
