One of the biggest television comedy names of the 1980 s and 1990 s makes his Fringe debut. Expect lots of jokes and brilliant impressions from a master of his craft with the energy of a young thoroughbred! Davro has had many of his own series for ITV and BBC as well as acting in EastEnders and on the West End stage. His lesser known club sets are electric and for two nights only you can see why he is regarded as one of the greatest performers this country has produced. Not for the easily offended.

Comedian, impressionist, actor and reality star Bobby Davro is on tour. He has taken part in several TV shows, most recently Celebrity Big Brother, where he came fourth.

Bobby made his TV debut in 1981, but his major breakthrough came with an appearance in Live At Her Majesty’s in 1983, followed by Copy Cats, which led to his own Saturday night series for ITV - Bobby Davro On The Box, Bobby’s Sketch Pad and TV Weekly which topped the ratings for six consecutive years. In 1991 Bobby moved to the BBC and made three series, Public Enemy Number One, Rock With Laughter’ and Run The Risk and from 1997 Bobby hosted 65 episodes of Winner Takes It All.

Bobby Davro

Comedy legend Bobby Davro made his TV debut in 1981; his major breakthrough came with an appearance in "LIVE AT HER MAJESTYS" in 1983. This led to his own Saturday night series "DAVRO", "BOBBY DAVRO ON THE BOX", "BOBBYS SKETCH PAD" and "TV WEEKLY" which immediately topped the ratings for six consecutive years. In 1991 Bobby moved to the BBC and made three series, "PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE", "ROCK WITH LAUGHTER" and "RUN THE RISK".

In 1997 Bobby hosted Yorkshire Television’s " WINNER TAKES ALL " for 65 programmes. Bobby has been touring with ‘SWINGIN’ a tribute to the songs and music of "FRANK SINATRA" featuring Bobby’s 15-piece orchestra and international recording star "KENNY LYNCH" In 2003 Bobby was involved in a brand new exciting show for channel 4, called ‘THE GAMES’ in which Bobby had to compete in several Olympic style events. In 2007 Bobby joined the cast of "EASTENDERS" as lovable cockney rogue "VINNIE MONKS". 

In 2009 he topped the bill in the Pantomime "Cinderella" at Milton Keynes alongside veteran Hollywood star "Mickey Rooney".

Versatility is the key to Bobby’s longevity, as a high profile personality. Be it in "TELEVISION", "VOICE OVERS", "PANTOMIME", "SUMMER SHOWS", "MUSICAL THEATRE", "CORPORATE ENTERTAINMENT", "AWARD PRESENTATIONS", "GOLF SHOWS" and "LATE NIGHT CABARET".

Some people are unaware of how truly multi talented Bobby Davro really is. Not only is he a superb comedian/impressionist doing the likes of Elton John, Jonathon Ross, Ozzy Osbourne, Sting and Michale Buble but he also sings, has acted in East Enders, been a panelist in Never Mind The Buzzcocks and in 2009/10 Bobby entered the world of skating, when he appeared on ITV’s Dancing On Ice .   In 2010 Bobby played the Scarecrow in the Wizard of OZ tour for New World Productions. The tour ran from April 6th through to early May at various theatres across the country.

Bobby lives in Surrey with his three daughters Brittany, Tierney and Marnie. In his rare moments away from the world of show business, Bobby likes nothing better than a game of golf, a game of snooker, a spot of fishing, or a glass of wine in front of the telly.

Swimming Against The Tide: Jim Davidson announces 2024 stand-up tour

Comedy legend and Ustreme founder, Jim Davidson , has announced his brand new tour for 2024.

Jim’s tour will see him travel the length and breadth of the country to get audiences laughing like they used to with his hilarious, un-PC comedy and unique takes on the mad world we live in.

The new tour, Swimming Against The Tide, will kick off in Blackpool on January 19th and will run until September 2024.

About the Destinations: The Moscow tour in Russia will take travellers on a wonderful journey through some of Moscow’s most well-known streets and areas. These iconic landmarks speak volumes of the rich and varied history of the city and the country of Russia. The well-informed guide will articulately guide you through each stop with informed snippets and anecdotes. The city of Moscow will come alive on this tour, giving you a ton of memories to take home. Duration of the Tour: 5N/6D Meal Types: Breakfast only throughout the tour Activities: Sightseeing and leisure activities Maximum Altitude: Most activities are centred in and the city limits with little exposure to high altitude areas or mountain ranges. Day 1 - Arrival in Moscow

Arrive in Moscow; start of the tour

Today is the first day of your Great Moscow Tour, so upon arriving in Moscow, get a transfer to the hotel. Checking-in into the hotel, spend the day relaxing and visiting local places in and around the hotel.

Day 2 - Moscow City Tour

Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Moscow State University, Several other Landmarks

Today, after breakfast, visit some of the iconic landmarks of Moscow. The list includes Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, monument to Peter I, Moscow State University, Hill of Respectful Salutation, Sparrow Hills, New Arbat, Tverskaja Streets, Theatre, Pushkin Squares and  Boulevard Ring.

Catch a scenic view of the Kremlin from the Sifiyskaya embankment and the New Maiden Nunnery. Spend some time at the Old Arbat Street, where one can find sidewalk artists, cafes and shops. Enjoy some free time to explore the historical Red Square. Proceed to St. Basil’s Cathedral which is an enduring symbol in Moscow. Also, a visit to Tretyakov Gallery will expose tourists to the best Russian art collection in the world.

Day 3 - Tour to Kremlin

The Armory and other historical places in the Kremlin

Waking up today morning, visit The Armoury, which is a treasury museum. Some parts of this museum houses artefacts and other historical pieces of interest like gowns and thrones, gold and silver items created by Russian and European jewellers as well as the armour worn by knights.

In addition to all these, you will also get the opportunity to visit Cathedral Square, Assumption, Archangel’s and Holy Annunciation Cathedrals in addition to the Tsar Cannon, the Tsar Bell, Alexander garden and take a ride on the Moscow metro train.

Day 4 - Cultural & Religious Tour in Moscow

Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

Today, you will be visiting the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, which was destroyed in 1931, and was converted and used as a swimming pool for close to 35 years. Also visit Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts which is among the largest museums in the world and houses a large collection of famous antiques and Renaissance masterpieces. Spend the rest of the day exploring other places in the city.

Day 5 - Another Day of Moscow Tour

New Maiden Nunnery, New Maiden Cemetery

Today will be the last day of the great Moscow tour. On this day, you will be visiting the New Maiden Nunnery, a convent known for housing sacred relics while also serving as a safe house for exiled girls who come from noble households if they get pregnant out of wed lock. Also visit New Maiden Cemetery, the burial ground for a number of powerful Russian and Soviet politicians, World War II heroes, musicians, authors and actors. Spend the rest of the day indulging in some personal sightseeing.

Day 6 - Departure from Moscow

Tour Ends Here

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check-out and proceed towards availing an airport transfer to your respective destination.
