Helen Bauer will tour stand-up show Grand Supreme Darling Princess this autumn.

Described as "a show about embracing your inner dictator", the show will debut at the Edinburgh Festival this August before touring between September and December. A full list of dates is below.

The blurb explains: "Like many women her age, Helen Bauer was raised on a diet of Disney. Disney Princesses. Disney Princes. Disney Princes rescuing Disney Princesses, you get the point. As much as Helen is a Disney fan - and boy, she is - the idea that she should be waiting around a quaint forest clearing, wearing some sort of corseted milkmaid dress and barely half conscious for a handsome but bland man to come and bring her back to life isn't one she's particularly keen on. Helen is ready to take back control."

Bauer says: "Okay, so yes it is messed up that my twin flames are Disney and dictators and YES by now I should do a relationship show but I can't because I still am yet to have a relationship. So in lieu of love, I find love elsewhere and most importantly learn that being able to save myself is more important."

Grand Supreme Darling Princess will be the comic's third full-length show. Her debut filmed stand-up special, has been launched today via 800 Pound Gorilla and will come to YouTube on 13th July. Little Miss Baby Angel Face , first performed in 2019 , was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

The blurb for Little Miss Baby Angel Face explains: " Helen Bauer enjoys a drama. She's her mother's daughter, taking a small situation, blowing it up, then getting upset that it's out of her control. Just like all the best reality TV. At the same time, she dreams of being a sweet angel handling any drama with grace. Who doesn't overthink everything and plan for how she will have all eyes on her at the right moment."

2019’s Best Newcomer nominee Helen Bauer has announced her first UK tour starting on Wednesday 28th September at the Edinburgh Stand culminating with five nights at London’s Soho Theatre from Tuesday1st – Saturday 5th November. This follows a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s Pleasance Courtyard. 

Her new show, ‘Madam Good Tit’, is about self-confidence, self-esteem and self-care.  After the sell-out success of her debut hour, ‘Little Miss Baby Angel Face’, at the Fringe and a prestigious Soho Theatre run that followed, the past year has seen Helen’s star truly risen with laugh out loud appearances on Live at The Apollo (BBC 2) and The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2). 

This comedy powerhouse also had her own BBC Three show, ‘Small Doses’, released at the end of March on BBCiPlayer, made by the producers of ‘Feel Good’. Helen also co-hosts two critically acclaimed hit podcasts: ‘Trusty Hogs’ with Catherine Bohart and ‘Daddy Look At Me’ with Rosie Jones. 

Taking care of yourself has never been more ‘in’. Inspirational quotes and facemasks are a big industry, and, like all her friends, Helen is trying to ‘be the change she wants to see’. However, like everything else, self-care is a money-making business filled with influencers that get you when you are down and you are truly stuck. Helen has lost so many hours watching ‘Yoga With Adrienne’ instead of going out for a walk…  

She grew up watching the ‘damaging’ reality diet TV shows that ran the noughties. But was it really worse than what is supposed to help us now? In 2002 a famous cereal advertised to young girls that they needed to stop having lunch and just have another bowl of cereal. Helen Bauer was 11 and living in Fleet, Hampshire, and her friends also fell into the same trap of addictively watching these shows. Body image issues will never end. Our mothers, our grandmothers - it’s a wonderful tradition passed through generations  ‘Here darling, you have my eyes and my unhealthy relationship with food.’  Just like two peas in a pod. 

Self-care, like anything to do with ‘self’, isn’t about how you feel, it’s about how other people feel about you, their perceptions affect your brain. Now we are living with COVID, who is watching out for others? Who looks after No.1? Statistically, men survive because they save themselves, where women hold back to help and gather things. We will gather anything apart from the self-esteem to save ourselves.  

After a childhood spent in museums riding the earthquake simulators and going into museum trench and blitz experiences, Helen believes she can take on these challenges with no real-world training. Helen explores her own self-esteem and experiences with secret eating, reality tv shows and, of course, her mother being thinner than her.

HELEN Flanagan's fans became convinced she'd signed up for First Dates after spotting giant 'clue' on her social media.

Actress Helen , 33, enjoyed a free stay at The Municipal Hotel in Liverpool, taking on Instagram to share a snap at the bar.

The former Coronation Street star looked gorgeous in a camel trench coat, denim skirt and black heels.

She wore her blonde locks up in a bun, a full face of make-up, looking ready to get her dating game on.

Some of her followers missed that she'd tagged the swanky hotspot in her post, mistaking it for The Botanist Bar and Restaurant in Bath, where the Channel 4 show is filmed.

One commented: "I thought it was First Dates ," with another adding: "Me too."

Helen recently revealed she was diagnosed with psychosis after struggling with the breakdown of her relationship with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair - with whom she shares three children.

Sharing a picture of her smiling as she poses with a peace sign, Helen reassured fans she's in a "really good happy place now" after therapy.

The mum-of-three posted online: "Basically I really struggled mental health wise.

"I felt really not great in my head over Christmas and I didn’t really feel that much different when I took the kids away for the new year.

"I had a lot of difficult things going on things I just can’t talk about on Instagram. I felt terrible.

"I was due on my theatre tour which I was excited about so when I came back from holiday I thought it was best for me to take some medication so I’d feel better and be able to cope better with being a working single mum of three.

"I had a really bad reaction though to the medication (an ADHD medication) and it sent me into a psychosis for a few days which I didn’t know I was in."

"I just love my kids so much," Helen added in the emotional Instagram post.

She had been due to make her acting comeback in a UK tour of the murder mystery play Cluedo 2, but pulled out because of medical reasons.

Helen was set to play Miss Scarlett in the play but was “advised to withdraw” for medical reasons.

The soap star was replaced by  Strictly Come Dancing  winner  Ellie Leach , who played Faye Windass on Coronation Street from 2011 until 2023.

Helen - who split from her Scott in October 2022 - continued: "This bad reaction though was a few days before rehearsals were starting and sadly I just wasn’t mentally well enough to do it.

"I was heartbroken as I’ve always been professional as an actress but I needed to stay at home and feel better for me and my kids, with the help of my amazing parents.

Understanding Psychosis & It's Symptoms

Psychosis is when people lose contact with realist.

According to the NHS website, this might involve seeing or hearing things that other people cannot see or hear (hallucinations) and believing things that are not true (delusions).

It may also involve confused (disordered) thinking and speaking.

Experiencing the symptoms of psychosis is often referred to as having a psychotic episode.

Psychosis can be triggered by:

• Traumatic experience
• Drug misuse
• Alcohol misuse
• Side effects of prescribed medicine
• Physical condition, such as a brain tumour or dementia
• Head injury

Dustin Hoffman has signed on to star in a currently untitled Peter Greenaway movie alongside Helen Hunt ( As Good As It Gets ) and Sofia Boutella ( Kingsman ). 

Principal photography has commenced on location in Lucca, Italy. Greenaway directs from his own screenplay. The current synopsis reads: The story of an intelligent man whose final big adventure is intended to be his death. He wants to make it elegant and sensible. Tidy, with as few loose ends as possible.
