Itinerario de La Última Vuelta World Tour

Jennifer Lopez Says She'll 'Barely' Be Able to Walk in 2024 Met Gala Look
Trending on billboard.
“This is the most important day of my life and I want to share it because it’s not the same living a life with success than a life with purpose,” the star born Raymond Ayala said during his address from the stage.
“For many years I’ve tried filling a void in my life that no one could fill. I tried finding a purpose, on many occasions it seemed as if I was happy but something was missing for me to feel complete. I have to confess that those days are over and someone was able to fill that void that I felt for a lot of time. I realized that for everyone I was someone but I was no one without him,” he continued. “Throughout the years I was able to travel the world, win many awards, applaud and praise but I realized something that’s in the Bible: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
The global artist, who spearheaded the reggaeton movement with his 2004 breakthrough hit “Gasolina,” proudly expressed that God lives in him and he will live for him.
“A chapter has ended but a new one will begin,” he noted. “All the tools that I have in my power, like music, social media, platforms, a microphone, everything that God has given me is now for his kingdom. Thank you, Puerto Rico, and I hope you walk with me in this new beginning and I hope you remember something very important: Don’t follow any person. I am human. To all the people who follow me, follow Jesus Christ, he’s the way, the truth, and the life.”

"But while motorists in, say, New Jersey would have been insane with rage, it turned out that the honking, accompanied by whistles and claps, was like cheering. La Vuelta was big news here, and everyone was happy to come cheer the bravery of the riders crazy enough to try to circle the island in three days. When we stopped for snacks in one seaside village, school children approached us with posters to autograph. We'd come to see Puerto Rico, but we were the ones being watched. ”

In three days, a 'fast-paced' group of international cyclists, divided into three pelotons, cover a 375-mile course that circumnavigates the entire island of Puerto Rico. The route takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes, including the lush foothills of the tropical rain forest, serene coconut plantations, exotic beaches, world-class marinas and every singlet one of the 42 coastal towns.
At La Vuelta Puerto Rico, riders divide themselves into three pelotons based on the pace they prefer to ride. Peloton A is for the hammerheads, and travels at sustained speeds at times in excess or 28 mph all day (a pace very similar to professional stage racers). Peloton B rides between 17 to 25 mph averaging 18 mph. Peloton C rides at 15 to 22 mph and averages 16 mph.
On its 3 days of riding, La Vuelta features rest stops throughout the day where riders can 'relax' for a short period and take in the breathtaking scenery while enjoying local cuisine and Caribbean hospitality before climbing back on their bikes for more pedal-pounding pleasure.

Daddy Yankee’s La Última Vuelta Tour Is a Celebration of an Unmatchable, Epic Legacy
After announcing retirement , reggaeton icon Daddy Yankee has embarked on the La Última Vuelta World Tour. The U.S. leg’s second stop (July 27) was the first of five shows in Los Angeles, CA, at the Kia Forum. He performed his hits from his latest album, LEGENDADDY , as well as the classics that have positioned him as a pillar of el movimiento and Latine music as a whole.
🔥✈️ — Daddy Yankee 🐐 (@daddy_yankee) July 28, 2022
Celebrating his momentous 32-year-career, he sang a total of 32 songs, ranging from full songs to medleys of “las viejitas” to favorite collaborations with some of the biggest names in the game. Some of the songs performed included new tracks off LEGENDADDY like “Campeón” and “Bombón,” as well as famed collabs like “Mayor Que Yo,” “La Santa,” and “Yo Voy.” The pre-“Gasolina” oldies included snippets of “Aquí Está Tu Caldo” and “ Cogela Que Va Sin Jockey.” And, of course, staples like “Machucando,” “Lo Que Pasó Pasó” and “La Despedida” also made it into the setlist. With every collaboration performed, the screens displayed a “hologram” video of the featuring artists. The audience watched clips from Wisin y Yandel, Luis Fonsi, Myke Towers, Rauw Alejandro, Ozuna, Lil’ Jon, and Zion y Lennox — but, notably, not Bad Bunny.
CAMPEÓN, CAMPEON, CAMPEÓN SOY 🏆 📍 Los Ángeles, CA 🇺🇸 #LaUltimaVueltaWorldTour #LaUltimaVuelta pic.twitter.com/dUckrgXbqJ — LA ÚLTIMA VUELTA TOUR 🐐 (@ultimavueltaDY) July 28, 2022
Nostalgia was a big component throughout the show. At most moments of the night, the show was more of a duet, with the audience singing even louder than the big boss himself. At other times, it seemed like one big party — a sentiment that Daddy Yankee received, for he said he felt like he was at a caserío back in Puerto Rico. Older songs like “Ella Me Levantó” and “Rompe” drew the best reactions from the crowd, as well as his more mainstream pieces like “Limbo” and “Con Calma.”
“Rompe, rompe, rompe” 🎶 @Daddy_Yankee reminding us why he’ll always be The Big Boss. #LaUltimaVuelta #LaUltimaVueltaWorldTour pic.twitter.com/b4UFJVmzXo — The Kia Forum (@thekiaforum) July 28, 2022
Also impossible not to notice was how Daddy Yankee looked like he was having the time of his life. He took multiple times to address the crowd, thanking them for their continuous support “desde el principio” and reminiscing about certain songs and key moments in his career, like the release of the global hit “Despacito.” He also freestyled on multiple songs, specifically localizing his verses to Los Angeles, shouting out people from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. He also took every opportunity to acknowledge the multiple flags he saw in the audience, especially the Puerto Rican one.
Moreover, though counting on a dance crew of 16, DY did not shy away from getting in on the action and doing a bit of simple choreography himself. “Agua” collaborator Rauw Alejandro has talked extensively about the stigma he faced for being an artist in el movimiento who danced, which has since changed somewhat thanks to him. But seeing an OG get in on the action looking comfortable and like he was enjoying it was definitely a highlight of the night.
Can't believe this is his last round 😭 I remember the first time he came to LA and my mom took me to see him 🥺 #Legendaddy @daddy_yankee Best concert hands down! #LosAngeles pic.twitter.com/9cQGs1n5PU — Ms Yerling Mezquita (@MsYerling) July 28, 2022
After two hours of an epic non-stop dancing party soundtracked by the hottest reggaeton songs since the early aughts, the show came to a close with the track that started it all and changed the course of Latine music history forever, “Gasolina.” Because even after almost 20 years since its release, I’m sorry, it never gets old.
At the end of the day, Daddy Yankee es Daddy Yankee, and he’ll continue to be so well after he concludes his farewell tour. La Última Vuelta World Tour took us on a trip down memory lane, but it’s also a huge flex on having a career filled with hit after hit after hit, a sonic legacy that will live on for generations. DY is saying goodbye to the stage while he’s on top. And after giving us so much — music, memories, and good times — if that’s what he really wants, he’s earned it.

Daddy Yankee “El Cangri” is the Puerto Rican singer who took Reggaeton global with “Gasolina” in 2004 and helped make “Despacito” a global phenomenon 2017.
Daddy Yankee, the King of Reggaeton
Ramón Ayala Rodríguez was born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 3, 1977. Río Piedras is an intense place. Many musicians come from there. University of Puerto Rico’s main campus is there, so it has young vibe, but it’s really not a place for tourists.
Rodríguez started making mixtapes in 1992. In 1994, he coined the term “Reggaeton.”
His nickname is “El Cangri.” That is Puerto Rican slang for someone who is well-connected like a congressman. “ElCangri.com” was the title of Yankee’s 2002 album. It was his first to attract international attention.
Yankee released “Barrio Fino” in 2004. The hit “Gasolina” put Daddy Yankee on the world map and the rest is history.
In 2017, Daddy featured on Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito.” The global hit got people around the world singing in Spanish, even if they don’t speak it. The song won Latin Grammys for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Urban Fusion Performance and Best Short Form Music Video. Though nominated, the regular Grammy’s snubbed this global phenomenon which in our opinion, completely discredits the Recording Academy.

Daddy Yankee and Don Omar battle to be the king of Reggaeton at Madison Square Garden July 30, 2016 at 8pm.
“The Kingdom: Daddy Yankee vs Don Omar” tour is an unusual concept. When they were young up-and-coming artists, the two recorded together. Later the relationship went sour and devolved into one of the biggest rap battles in Latin music. The two surprised audiences by working together on stage in 2009.
The Kingdom Tour started in December 2015 and will run for two years with an accompanying album and a TV show. The show is being presented as a musical boxing match. Yankee and Omar will take turns playing sets. The audience will vote for their favorite artist through a special mobile app for the event. It’s a remarkable reunion for two of the top artists in their genre.

May. 6, 2024
