Yesterday we had a fantastic day with the Land Rover safari with driver Michel. We have seen beautifull places and views. Also included was a very nice lunch at a perfect beach hut. Thanks Falirakitours, for this beautifull tour safari. You don't wanna miss this safari. Best regards, Frans, Hans, Wilma and Agnes.

What an absolute blast! My husband and I booked this last minute with Vicky through Faliraki Tours and are we ever glad we did. Our driver and guide Nick was lovely! An incredible smile and friendly, confident demeanour we knew we were in great hands. We climbed in the back, lots of space for our family of four. We met some lovely visitors from the UK and and Ireland and we all set out on an incredible all day journey. Nick chatted away, he shared his thoughts and gave us lots of great information and trivia about the island. He was very proud to show off his “home” to us and show us he did! We ventured from the sea all the way to the top of the mountain and every where in between. Very safe, the off roading was so fun and added some physical drama to the adventure. Nick was very flexible always willing to do more or less depending on the mood of his guests. My kids we not “bored” for a moment and had a great time with mom and dad; which is great and what family vacations are supposed to be! Would whole heartedly recommend and definitely bring those “bored” overly privileged children and have FUN!!!!

Staying at Faliraki and booked through Faliraki Tours, recommended by Vicky who was very helpful. Picked up at our hotel by Nick with another 3 couples and off we went. Nick had a weird sense of humour!! Asks which way to go smooth or rough Road!! Latter of course passing the Tank tracks as well. First stop was southern most point at Prassonissi where we had time to dip our toes in the Mediterranean and the Aegean seas. Separated by sand and only come together every four years depending on the moon. From there we travelled through countryside to beach Hut where the solitude was immense. No one else around. Nick then brought out the ouzo and a picnic where we chatted and ate for 40 min. A joy!! Then back into the land rover and we set off to view Monolithos and what a fantastic view. Then further drive through the countryside before stopping at Siana, sample some of the honey and local fire water Souma!! The only village licenced to brew and sell this liquid. If you like grappa, this is stronger 54%. Lovely little place narrow streets with plenty of time to see it. From here we travelled back where Nick pointed out wild basil, ( could still smell the aroma 3 days later) picked a few stalks Also local wildlife and wild sage. A fantastic day out very informative and Nick was gorgeou !!! Recommend this tour !!!

I was here in Rhodes on vacation with my girlfriend, we are in our early 20s. We had a great day trip with a good-humored guide named Mikel, who you could tell how much he enjoys showing his home. On the day trip we saw the most beautiful places you can imagine, from cast away feeling on a deserted beach to dense forests and dirt roads, it was all there. You are well taken care of the whole day and feel in good hands, for lunch there was everything the island gives fresh fruit, an experience. Super great mediation by Vicky from Faliraki tours travel agency! Highly recommended for all ages, the trip is worth every penny!

Yesterday we had a fantastic safari through a big part of Rhodos island. We have seen beautifull landscapes, beaches, countrysides. Michel, the driver took us for a wonderfull lunch at a impressive beach with a lovely beach hut, wich reminds at the movie " Cast away". This hidden treasure is also the place where turtels come back every year to burry their eggs at the beach.. Michel served us us a wonderfull lunch, wich was made by Vicky, Michel's wife. Your first stop will be the Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple. Be awed by the magical views of Mount Agung behind the temple. You will then visit Tirta Gangga, which is well known as the most beautiful former royal water palace in Eastern Bali. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.

Your next scenic spot will be at Tukad Cepung waterfall. Admire the sun rays shining straight through the top of the falls, creating natural beams across the canyon. You will also have a chance to swim in the waterfall. You’ll then take a journey to Ubud where you will be able to walk in a beautiful rice field with the green of coconut plants. The first images of Range Rover’s fully electric SUV have been revealed, showing a modern take on the iconic SUV. Range Rover’s first electric SUV is being put through the paces ahead of its upcoming debut. Can Range Rover’s new EV compete with Porsche and other luxury automakers?

Strong demand as first EV launch looms

Jaguar Land Rover continues to see strong demand for its luxury vehicles after reporting full-year sales (fiscal), up 20% earlier this month.

The Range Rover Sport saw the highest sales growth, with 63,598 units sold, up 83% from the 34,789 sold last year. Range Rover fiscal sales also rose 34.5% YOY to 66,199. JLR’s sales are up in every major market fiscal YTD.

For example, UK sales are up 24.5%, followed by North America (+22.5%), China (+14.4%), and Europe (+9.1%). Overseas sales are up 48% as of March (Fiscal YTD).

Range Rover expects the momentum to continue with its first fully electric SUV debuting later this year.

After record quarterly wholesale numbers in Q4, JLR said the first electric Range Rover is “generating strong interest.” In February, the company revealed that over 16,000 potential buyers had signed up for the waitlist.

Range Rover’s “most refined” vehicle is being tested in Sweden to ensure its electric SUV can withstand frigid temperatures.

Range Rover unveils first images of its new electric SUV

The first images of the initial all-black Range Rover electric prototypes reveal the iconic brand is staying true to its roots. With a modernist design, the electric SUV is unmistakenly a Range Rover.

Range Rover claims its first EV will “lead the way for electric propulsion capability, refinement, and luxury travel.” The vehicle is being tested in extreme weather conditions , from the Arctic Circle, where temperatures are -40°C, to the deserts of the Middle East, where it can reach +50°C (122°F).

The first tests focused on core components like the battery and EDU. In a first for JLR, both (the battery and EDU) are assembled in-house.

Range Rover’s new in-house electric propulsion system will allow the brand to “exceed its already renowned performance on low-grip surfaces, ensuring all-terrain, all-weather, and all-surface capability” remains unparalleled.

The electric SUV features a new traction control system, a Range Rover first that improves performance in slippery conditions.

Rather than a solely ABS unit-based traction control setup, the Range Rover Electric distributes wheel slip management tasks to each electric drive control unit. Range Rover says this reduces the torque reaction time at each wheel from around 100 milliseconds to as little as 1 millisecond.

“Range Rover with electric power – means customary Range Rover luxury, refinement and capability plus near-silent fully electric propulsion; with effortlessly smooth and relaxed journeys,” Thomas Mueller, JLR’s executive director of product engineering, said.

Mueller said the Range Rover electric is being pushed to the extremes “to ensure its capability remains unparalleled when it reaches you.”

I think it's pretty good. The clean, futuristic look is very appealing right now. Based on the side view visible in the video, I rate it still looks like a Range Rover. Altogether a job well done.

Range Rover claims its new EV can plow through up to 850 mm (33.5″) of water. If true, that would top the GMC Hummer EV at 32″.

Following the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport EVs, the brand is expected to launch two smaller electric SUVs, which could be Evoque and Velar models. The other two EVs are due out in 2026.

The electric Range Rover will compete with the new Porsche Macan EV unveiled earlier this year and gas-powered Cayenne.
