A full day program with a break of about 3h between activities. Leave from the city centre and journey to Villmarkssenter, one of the leading dog sledding centres in Norway. With 300 Alaskan huskies you’ll get time to meet them before heading out with a team of your own dogs

Be sure to choose the right option if you want to drive the sled yourselves (see t&c’s before booking) otherwise an experience guide will take you out (children must be accompanied by an adult).

After an enjoyable warm lunch you’ll be taken back to town for you to explore the city or rest if you wish before leaving in search of the northern lights. You’ll head out in a bus out away from the city lights to find the best spots to see the Northern Lights. This can change depending on the weather, so be prepared as it can mean a long journey (about 7hours). A professional photographer will be available to assist you to take photos with the Aurora.

VILLMARKSSENTER welcomes you in the arctic wilderness!

Join them for a dog sled trip on Kvaløya, one of Norway’s largest islands. See great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø and towards the Balsfjord and Malangen peninsula. With about one hour of dogsledding you also get to meet our 200 Alaskan Huskies up close and spend some time with the puppies. With a 2:1 guest to guide ratio, everyone will have a sled driven by a professional musher.

After a ride in the Norwegian winter a hearty meal of Bidos, prepared with reindeer meat, broth and vegetables is just what the body needs. They serve the meal in their camp around the fire (vegetarian meal available on request).

The First Look: RBC Heritage

The First Look

Change Text Size

The eyes of the golfing world move about 150 miles east from Augusta, Georgia, to Hilton Head, South Carolina, for the next Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule – the RBC Heritage.

It’ll be quite the change for the best in the world coming from the Masters to Harbour Town with the low-country chill and charm a welcome respite after Augusta National Golf Club was at its toughest and brawniest last week.

But the best in the game are set to gather for the next Signature Event on the TOUR’s schedule – including the undisputed world No. 1, Scottie Scheffler.

Here’s everything else you need to know as the TOUR returns to Hilton Head:

SIGNATURE EVENT STORYLINES: The RBC Heritage is the fifth Signature Event of the season… Erik van Rooyen , who finished T55 at the Masters, jumped into the Aon Next 10 and secured the final spot. His made cut at the Masters moved him from No. 11 to No. 10, and now he gets to tee it up at Harbour Town – a course he’s had some fine results at in the past. He finished T21 and T10 in 2020 and 2022, respectively… Nicolai Højgaard looked like he was a lock to jump into the Aon Next 10 (especially after he held the solo lead at the Masters after a birdie at No. 10 Saturday). But he stumbled into the house with five straight bogeys and finished T16. He only moved from No. 20 to No. 17 in the Aon Next 10, falling outside the number… The Aon Swing 5 was firmed up after the Valero Texas Open, with Brice Garnett , Erik Barnes , Thomas Detry , Chandler Phillips and Alejandro Tosti earning those spots… The Wells Fargo Championship is the next Signature Event on the schedule.

COMCAST BUSINESS TOUR TOP 10 UPDATES: After his Masters victory, Scottie Scheffler kept a stranglehold on the top spot of the TOUR TOP 10. He now has twice as many points as Wyndham Clark at No. 2… Xander Schauffele , who finished eighth at the Masters, moved up a spot from No. 4 to No. 3… Ludvig Åberg , on the back of his incredible runner-up in his Masters debut, skipped from No. 8 to No. 4 in the standings… Will Zalatoris jumped into the TOUR TOP 10 after his Masters top 10. He zipped from No. 16 to No. 10, bumping Stephan Jaeger outside the TOUR TOP 10… Chris Kirk and Byeong Hun An remain the only two golfers to be inside the TOUR TOP 10 every week so far this season.

FEDEXCUP: Winner receives 700 FedExCup points.

COURSE: Harbour Town Golf Links, par 71, 7,213 yards. The iconic Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus design – lengthened slightly for 2024 – has hosted the RBC Heritage since the 1960s. It continues to challenge the best golfers in the world with its tight fairways, strategically placed bunkers and small, contoured putting surfaces. Once again, a premium will be placed on ball-striking. Two of the last three winners at Harbour Town were first in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green, while last year’s winner, Matt Fitzpatrick, was third.

72-HOLE RECORD: 262, Webb Simpson (2020)

18-HOLE RECORD: 61, David Frost (second round, 1994) and Troy Merritt (second round, 2015)

LAST TIME: For the second year in a row, a playoff was needed to decide the winner of the RBC Heritage. Jordan Spieth, who won in extra holes in 2022, was defeated in 2023 by Matt Fitzpatrick, who birdied the third playoff hole for the win. Both participants in the 2022 playoff – Spieth and Patrick Cantlay – were firmly in the mix again Sunday in 2023, with Spieth shooting a 5-under 66 in the final round. But Fitzpatrick, who shot a 3-under 68 in the finale and overcame a two-shot deficit with just five holes to play, zipped a 9-iron to within a foot on the third extra hole to top Spieth, who had two glorious chances to win (he lipped out a birdie try on the first playoff hole and his 9-foot birdie attempt on the second playoff hole ran out of gas). Cantlay finished third, a shot out of the playoff, while Xander Schauffele finished fourth and Sahith Theegala and Hayden Buckley finished tied for fifth at 14-under.

Women's Series: Caddo Lake and Big Cypress Bayou

The breathtaking Caddo Lake in East Texas serves as an ideal setting for the next addition to our well-received Women in Nature Photography tour series—trips open exclusively to women of all photographic skills. This trip is designed with the same attention to detail found in all other Van Os Photo Safaris but with an added element—it offers a unique opportunity to explore this extraordinary region in the company of other women photographers. Straddling the borders of Texas and Louisiana, Caddo Lake and the Big Cypress Bayou comprise an extensive 26,800-acre maze of channels, meandering bayous, sloughs, and cypress thickets. This misty primordial swampland adds a new wild and haunting dimension to “fall color” photography. Here, in the Deep South, majestic bald cypress trees reflected in tranquil dark tannin-rich waters are transformed with color in autumn, with an exuberant explosion of fiery burnt orange, red, gold and russet. Thick ghostly drapes of Spanish moss hang from every branch as fog drifts amidst gnarled and buttressed cypress trunks. Abstract shapes of cypress knees protrude above mirrored water as herons and egrets use them from which to hunt amidst the giant trees. We are out in the predawn hours making our way to locales of graphic intensity. We visit the most stunning groups of trees and cypress corridors prior to the golden hour, hoping to photograph tree reflections and ethereal mist before sunrise. Then we continue as dappled golden light filters through the canopy above. In the afternoon we return to these backwaters in our flat-bottomed jon boat, hopeful for beautiful colors of the sky and tree silhouettes at sunset. In October 1993, Caddo Lake was designated a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention—an international treaty which seeks to conserve wetlands throughout the world. The area protects a wealth of wildlife and…

Karol G performs during MaĂąana Sera Bonito LATAM Tour at Estadio OlĂmpico on March 15, 2024 in Santo Domingo, DR.

Karol G has traveled across Latin America with her Mañana Será Bonito Tour, paying homage to the countries she’s performing in by wearing a special outfit that represents each country’s respective flag colors. It may be a simple wardrobe choice, but it’s thoughtful and attention to detail that really marks the difference.

Throughout her sets, she has a few outfit changes, from anime-inspired, schoolgirl mini-skirts paired with fuzzy snow boots to show-stopping sparkly long dresses with a flower on her hair as an accessory.  She’s also worn flowy cargo pants with cropped T-shirts and a tejano look with cowboy hat and all. The Colombian hitmaker has perfected an aesthetic for this tour that has become an extension of her artistry.

Karol G’s Latin America tour kicked off Feb. 8 in Mexico City, and has made stops in Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Venezuela and PerĂş, among other countries. “These last few days have been busy,” the Grammy-winning artist recently wrote on social media . “Between the tour, the recording studio and everything to come, but I feel infinitely happy and grateful for the moment of my life I’m going through!”

According to Billboard Boxscore, in 2023, Karol — who was honored with woman of the year at  Billboard ‘s 2024 Women in Music event — grossed $155.3 million and sold 925,000 tickets from 20 shows. She landed at No. 11 on the 2023 Year-End Boxscore Charts. The tour is named after her 2023 history-making album, which became the first Spanish-language album by a female artist that has topped the Billboard 200 .

Her LatAm stint continues in countries like Chile, Brazil and Argentina before she heads out to Europe this summer.

Below are some of the best looks from Karol’s Mañana Será Bonito Tour in Latin America.

It’s time for the latest signature event on the PGA Tour schedule.

After Scottie Scheffler’s third win in his fourth start last week at the Masters, earning his second green jacket, he’s back in action this week at the 2024 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Scheffler will look to continue his strong run of play since switching to a mallet putter, in which he has collected three victories and a T-2.

Matt Fitzpatrick is the defending champion, beating 2022 winner Jordan Spieth on the third playoff hole to claim the title.

Here’s a look at the best photos from the RBC Heritage:

You Don't Wanna Miss These Amazing Vintage Photos of Aerosmith in the '70s and Beyond

The rockers have been living it up for decades — see some throwback photos from their first years on tour together

Aerosmith is going back on tour.

The iconic rock group — originally made up of Steven Tyler ,  Joe Perry , Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer —  has been on the scene since 1970 , linking up in Boston and going on to worldwide fame.

And though many of today's fans know them thanks to Tyler's own star power (or maybe the movie Armageddon ), the band has been making major headlines since those early days.

Here, check out some incredible '70s- and '80s-era photos of Aerosmith in their early days.

Biden Targets Wealthy in Pennsylvania Tour With a Hometown Visit

By Jarrett Renshaw and Steve Holland

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden kicked off a multi-city tour of the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Tuesday with a stop in his hometown of Scranton, where he renewed calls to increase taxes on wealthy Americans and large corporations.

Biden is seeking to boost sagging opinion poll numbers for his handling of the U.S. economy by contrasting his plan to impose higher taxes on Americans making more than $400,000 with his Republican rival Donald Trump's promise to preserve his 2017 slashing of the corporate tax rate.

“No billionaire should pay a lower tax rate than a teacher," Biden told a room full of supporters.

Biden is also pushing for middle-class tax cuts, arguing "trickle-down economics" had failed and "the truth is Donald Trump embodies that failure."

With 19 electoral votes, one of the highest counts among all 50 U.S. states, and voters who swing between backing Democrats and Republicans, Pennsylvania is a top prize in the 2024 presidential election that features a rematch between Biden and Trump.

Biden, who spent part of his childhood in working-class Scranton before his family moved to Delaware, won Pennsylvania in 2020 by less than 1.5%, or roughly 80,000 votes. Trump beat Democrat Hillary Clinton there by fewer than 45,000 votes in 2016. Polls show another close race.

Later in the day, Biden visited his childhood home, the backdrop of many political stump speeches where he talks about the folksy life lessons he learned at the family kitchen table.

Biden will head to Pittsburgh on Wednesday and Philadelphia on Thursday as part of an effort to draw contrasts with Trump on tax and economic policies. Trump was in Eastern Pennsylvania on Saturday for a campaign rally that drew thousands of supporters.

The string of events in a battleground state sets up a stark split screen as Biden hits the campaign trail while Trump spends most of the week in a New York City courtroom for his criminal trial over an alleged hush money scheme.

Biden is grappling with voter concerns about the U.S. economy despite job growth, healthy spending and better-than-expected GDP increases. Voters blame Biden for rising costs on an array of items from groceries to construction supplies, along with high interest rates.

“As Joe Biden visits the Keystone State today, Pennsylvanians are struggling because of Bidenomics. Pennsylvania families are suffering from historic inflation, unaffordable gas prices, and record high housing costs," said Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley.

Jennifer Saunders, who owns a coffee shop along the city's central business strip that was recently renamed Biden Street, said she is concerned about the wealthy not paying their fair share in taxes, but it's not a main priority.

"I am more concerned about the rising costs of supplies and how much I can pass on to consumers," Saunders said.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll found that voters trust Trump more than Biden to better manage the economy and jobs by a 39% to 33% margin.

Biden is betting his economic populist message, which includes a new billionaire's tax and closing corporate loopholes, will animate voters in a blue-collar region of Pennsylvania that Democrats dominated before Trump emerged. Scranton sits in Lackawanna County, which is whiter, poorer and less educated, on average, than the rest of the state, the latest U.S. Census figures show.

Biden must stem the defections of white, non-college-educated voters in Pennsylvania and other Rust Belt battleground states like Michigan and Wisconsin if he hopes to stay in the White House, campaign aides have said.

Former President Barack Obama won Lackawanna county by roughly 62% in 2008 and 2012, while Hillary Clinton eked out a victory with 49.8% of the vote. Biden won the county by 53%.

The state's Republican and Democratic primary contests take place on April 23.

Biden faces a loosely organized effort by critics who say he has not done enough to stop the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where Israel's air and ground campaign has led to the enclave's population facing widespread disease and famine.

Amber Viola, a 38-year-old Scranton resident who runs a popular local political podcast, said she was invited by the Biden campaign to attend the Scranton event but turned it down.

"I don't feel comfortable posing for campaign photos when there are people dying," Viola said.

Voters mounted opposition efforts in Democratic primaries in other battleground states like Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina to register their protest. Biden has faced protests at many public events in recent months.
