MPKS Annual 2024 Garden & Pond Tour. The cost is $20.00 per family (up to 4) and allows you to tour all four days. The Midwest Pond & Koi Society invites you to visit our member's gardens and ponds. This year is our 34 th year of MPKS members opening their backyards to the public. The dates are July 20 th , 21 st , 27 th, and 28 th.

Plants to Consider: Water Hyacinth, Hornwort, Pickerelweed, Mosquito Fern, Water Clover, Sacred Lotus. Water Temperatures: Koi prefer cool water between 65 and 75°F, but these levels can be hard to maintain in the hottest months of the year. Warmer water holds less oxygen, which can also negatively impact your koi.
