Suri Cruise, the 17-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, was photographed looking just like her famous mother as she bundled up on a walk in New York City Sunday.

She kept it casual for the midday stroll, wearing gray sweatpants, a T-shirt, a navy blue jacket and brown flats.

Suri went makeup-free for the outing as she tied her hair up in a ponytail and accessorized with drop earrings.

It’s unclear where the teenager was off to, but she held on to a pink water bottle as wired headphones hung out of her pocket.

The brunette beauty is occasionally seen wandering around the Big Apple , often out on errands.

A few months before, the two made another rare appearance together as they celebrated the “Dawson’s Creek” alum’s 45th birthday in the city.

In 2019, the “Batman Begins” actress gushed over her mini-me in an interview with Shape magazine, revealing they like to work out together.

“I feel very blessed to have such a special daughter. Being her mom is absolutely the greatest gift and privilege,” she told the outlet. “Sometimes I work out with my daughter. It just depends on the day.”

Last year, Holmes also shared she’s always been protective of her daughter “because she was so visible at a young age” due to her and Cruise’s fame, per Glamour.

However, Suri is rumored not to hold the same bond with her father amid reports she’s been estranged from the “Top Gun” actor , 61, since his 2012 divorce from Holmes.

The “First Daughter” star and Cruise welcomed their daughter in April 2006 and wed a few months after her birth.

The last person the actress was romantically connected to was musician in Bobby Wooten III from April 2022 until December 2022 .

Meanwhile, the “Mission Impossible” star was dating Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova , but cooled off a little bit after an insider claimed Cruise “felt things were moving too fast.”

TOM Cruise's daughter Suri Cruise has been spotted on the streets of Manhattan looking like a full-blown adult.

The 17-year-old was seen in New York's Soho while walking with some friends.

Suri is the daughter of actors Tom Cruise , 60, and Katie Holmes , 44.

She was wearing a black tank top and a knee-length denim skirt which gave early 2000s vibes.

She paired it with several silver bracelets and a black string choker necklace that had a large silver flower on it.

On her feet were black sneakers and tall white socks that were scrunched down at her ankles.

In August 2021, Katie and her lookalike daughter turned heads as they stepped out in New York City .

It was hard to miss that her daughter had a striking similarity to her actress mom in the early days of her career.

With her tall frame and long dark locks, the teen looked just like Katie when she starred in Dawson's Creek over 20 years ago.

On their Friday outing, Katie kept it casual in a cream T-shirt tucked into white pants. Suri wore red shorts and cropped tank top.

Enjoying her evening stroll with her only child, Katie affectionately played with her daughter's brunette tresses while they waited for a crosswalk to turn green.

FATHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP

Suri has reportedly not seen  Top Gun  star Tom in more than a decade after her mom divorced him when she was five.

Katie gained sole custody of Suri in 2012, along with a generous settlement that has Tom paying a reported £325,000 a year for his daughter’s care.

After the split, Katie took Suri to New York which was 2,400 miles away from LA -based Tom.

The actor has been accused of putting his religion before his daughter, with ex-Scientologists claiming he has been ordered to shun Katie and Suri as non-believers.

High-profile former church member Samantha Domingo, daughter-in-law of opera singer Placido, spoke about the religion in 2019.

Katie Holmes reveals the story behind the surprise guest star in her latest film 'Alone Together'

Katie Holmes didn't have to look very far to find the right singer to croon the cover of "Blue Moon" that plays over the opening credits of her new movie, Alone Together . The actress wrote, directed and stars in the COVID-era romantic comedy — now playing in theaters and arriving on VOD on July 29 — which features the singing debut of her 16-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.

"I always want the highest level of talent," Holmes tells Yahoo Entertainment about how the mother-daughter collaboration came about. "So I asked her! She's very, very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That's the way I direct in general: It's like, 'This is what I think we all want — go do your thing.'" And Holmes teases that her daughter's singing career won't be a one-and-done affair. "She actually did sing in Rare Objects , which is the film we did last fall," the director says of her recently completed third feature, a period drama based on the 2016 bestseller by Kathleen Tessaro. But don't expect a Suri Cruise arena tour anytime soon. "Other than that, she's a 16-year-old kid doing high school," Holmes says, laughing.

There's a special connection that Holmes and Cruise share to "Blue Moon" as well. The director cites the 1987 Diane Keaton comedy Baby Boom as one of the influences on Alone Together , and is an avowed fan of all things Keaton in general. Not coincidentally, the Annie Hall star covered "Blue Moon" in Rob Reiner's 2014 film, And So It Goes . "Diane met my daughter when she was a year old," Holmes reveals, which makes Cruise's rendition of the classic 1934 ballad in Alone Together a sweet full-circle moment.

Speaking of full-circle moments, Alone Together is going into wide release 25 years after Holmes made her feature film debut in Ang Lee's The Ice Storm . The future Dawson's Creek superstar was only 19 years old when she landed the small, but memorable role of Tobey Maguire's high school crush in that critically acclaimed 1997 drama. Reflecting on that movie a quarter-century later, Holmes says she can see how that formative experience with Lee shaped her own creative evolution into a filmmaker.

"That shoot was so exciting for me — it was my first job," she recalls. "When I was there, I didn't really understand what was happening, but in looking at the film many times after, Ang's ability to capture worlds is so incredible. I think that he's such a poet in the way that he shoots a scene, and the dialogue he uses and how that tells the story in a very simple way. It's all about finding the simplest way to get your story across."

Alone Together pairs Holmes with Jim Sturgess as a pair of New Yorkers who separately make the decision to flee the Big Apple at the height of the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020. They both end up booking the same upstate Airbnb and, after some initial uncertainty and confusion, end up taking shelter together. Needless to say, their relationship eventually takes a romantic turn.

Discussing Holmes's directing style, Sturgess praises her ability to let the performers in front of the camera figure out a scene as they're going along. "She gives you this incredible space between action and cut," the 44-year-old actor says. "She very rarely shouted, 'Cut!' actually! You'd think the scene had ended and she just kind of left it hanging. I love that she was always searching for those little nuggets of authenticity."

Like Holmes, Sturgess is celebrating his own cinematic anniversary this year. Fifteen years ago, the British actor made his big Hollywood debut alongside Evan Rachel Wood as the star of Julie Taymor's 2007 musical Across the Universe , inspired by the Beatles's immortal back catalogue. Although the film had a mixed critical and commercial reception upon its release, it has become a cult favorite among fans of unconventional movie musicals, thanks to memorable set-pieces like a spirited song-and-dance sequence in a bowling alley scored to "I've Just Seen a Face."

"I remember being pretty sore after that sequence," Sturgess says now. "We really did try and learn how to slide down these bowling alleys and everyone was genuinely falling over because they were greased up. When you watch the movie [now], you realize they were only interested in the falling down parts, and we were trying our best to stay up! I have great memories of making that film, and I'm bound by that experience to the rest of the cast. We still keep in touch."

So would Holmes and Sturgess reunite for a movie musical of their own? "Absolutely," Holmes says with genuine delight. "I would be honored." And, of course, that film would have to include her daughter performing "Blue Moon" on-camera. "Me and Suri in a movie," Sturgess enthuses. "There you go."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter has made her on-screen debut.

Holmes, 43, directed and stars in the newly released movie Alone Together , and her daughter Suri Cruise, 16, joined her on the big screen.

“I always want the highest level of talent,” Holmes said in an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment . “So, I asked her [Suri].

“She’s very, very talented. She said she would do it, and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That’s the way I direct in general. It’s like, ‘This is what I think we all want – go do your thing.’”

In the movie, Suri sings a cover of Blue Moon , which plays during the opening credits of the film. Holmes told the outlet this will not be her daughter’s only on-screen singing gig, Fox News reports.

“She actually did sing in Rare Objects , which is the film we did last [autumn],” Holmes said. “Other than that, she’s a 16-year-old kid doing high school.”

Cruise and Holmes were married from 2006 to 2012. Suri is their only child together, and her uber-famous parents opted to keep her out of the public eye for the majority of her childhood.

Holmes directed, wrote and stars in Alone Together – a romantic comedy set during the Covid pandemic. Also appearing opposite her in the film is English actor Jim Sturgess.

The film follows a man and woman fleeing New York City during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020.

They end up booking the same Airbnb and ultimately decide to stay at the upstate property together.

Sturgess praised Holmes’ directing style and shared that she gives actors wide latitude when they are in front of the camera.

Katie Holmes is shining a spotlight on her love for daughter Suri Cruise .

Holmes, who shares the 16-year-old with ex-husband Tom Cruise , gushed about collaborating with her teen daughter in her cinematic work  in an interview with Glamour magazine published Wednesday. Suri lent her vocals to songs featured in two of Holmes’ recent films, the 2022 romantic drama "Alone Together" and the upcoming "Rare Objects," both of which Holmes directed.

"I hope she always does something on my films. I always ask her," Holmes told the magazine. "But both of those experiences came out of the same sense of what I love about our industry, which is, you have these projects and you become a family with people."

Holmes added: "So it comes out of love for me to include someone who I love dearly. That’s how I like to work. I like to have that kind of feeling. It was very meaningful to me to have her there, because she’s my heart."

Holmes, who is famously private about her daughter, also spoke about her protectiveness as a mother.

"What has been really important for me with my daughter, because she was so visible at a young age, is I really like to protect her," Holmes said. "I’m very grateful to be a parent, to be her parent. She’s an incredible person."

In 2021, Holmes shared a trio of rare photos of Suri taken throughout the years on Instagram to mark her 15th birthday. Holmes also opened up about bonding with Suri during the coronavirus pandemic in a November 2020 cover story for Vogue Australia.

"Hobbies such as sewing, painting and writing became new hallmarks of satisfaction and having had time at home to just be," Holmes wrote at the time. "To listen. To live for a moment in time without the pressure of results and instead appreciate the natural rhythms of mother and daughter was the most precious gift."

When Suri isn't busy making music, Holmes said her daughter enjoys just being a teen.

According to Yahoo, the 16-year-old sings a cover of "Blue Moon" that plays at the beginning of the romantic comedy during the opening credits. Suri Cruise, 15, Looks So Tall On Stroll With Mom Katie Holmes In NYC — Photos

Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes are taking the New York City heat wave in their stride, stepping out in casual ensembles for a day of mother-daughter bonding.

Suri Cruise , 15, has stepped out for a stroll in New York City alongside her mom Katie Holmes . The 42-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum is regularly spotted running errands in Manhattan with her mini-me in tow, and the duo practically looked like sisters when they were seen walking on August 12. Katie cut a chic figure in a plain white tee and crisp white trousers, which were rolled up at the cuffs.

She accessorized with a black leather tote bag, and a pair of black slides which featured large gold buckle detailing. Of course, Katie stayed protected in a white face mask and dark hexagonal sunglasses, as she slicked her raven tresses back into a bun. Meanwhile, her teenage daughter, whom she shares with Tom Cruise , proved just how quickly she’s growing up as she looked  so  tall next to her mom.

She cut a casual figure in a pair of maroon shorts and a pale blue tank top layered over grey sports bra. She accessorized with flip-flops, and allowed her long brown hair to fall down her back, over her shoulders. Like her mother, Suri also wore a white protective face covering.

As fans would know, it came a couple of weeks after she stepped out alongside her mom in very similar ensembles . The mother-daughter duo were out and about in New York City on July 27 when Suri opted for a pair of dark-wash low-rise straight-leg jeans. She paired the on-trend pants with a pastel yellow tee and sneakers, as her mom Katie donned a pair of baggy low-rise pants and a white ribbed tank top.

While the actress has always remained extremely private about her relationship with her daughter, she offered fans some  rare insights into Suri’s personality  during her April cover story with  InStyle  in 2020. “My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality, to make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident and able. And to know it,” Katie said. “She came out very strong — she’s always been a strong personality.”

Eventually, Holmes secured sole custody of then-five-year-old Suri alongside a yearly payment of $400,000 for child support from the Top Gun star.

"What has been really important for me with my daughter, because she is so visible at a young age, is I really like to protect her."

After the custody battle, Suri had little contact with her father. Besides the frequent checks for medical expenses, insurance, dental, and other extracurricular costs attached to Suri, the two never seem to cross paths all that much. And if the two did have problems, neither one ever spoke about it to the press.

Now at 17 years old, Suri is in the midst of applying for college, which is a momentous time in many teenagers' lives. However, this momentous time has not included her father so far, seeing that the two still remain distant from each other, according to DailyMail.com. A source close to Katie Holmes said that Holmes and Suri are preparing for this exciting next chapter in their lives, saying Holmes is "overwhelmed" by her daughter going off to college , in hopes that she'll stay close to home.

"Katie really does want her to stay in New York, so they can be close to each other... being raised by a single mom in New York has made Suri who she is."

Sadly, Tom Cruise was not mentioned while talking about this special chapter in Suri's life, despite being required to support her financially. Suri's reasoning behind keeping her father out of the picture while planning her future is still uncertain.

Tom has already missed out on many of his youngest daughter’s major life moments , and it looks like high school graduation will be added to that list. However, Holmes has raised “a very intelligent mature” young woman and has “always put Suri first.”

Suri Cruise Was Tom's Mini-Me, But This Grown-Up New Photo Proves She's All Katie

Born on April 18, 2006, Suri Cruise is Katie Holmes and megastar Tom Cruise's only child together. After her parents divorced in June 2012, Suri was primarily raised by her mother in New York City. Holmes ensured her daughter's life was kept private and out of the spotlight, with the actor telling  Town & Country  in 2017, "It's very important that I'm present and she has a stable, innocent childhood." Although Suri has been called the spitting image of her father, the latest shot of the teen proves otherwise. In 2023, Suri turned 17, and it's clear that as she's gotten older, she's become  Holmes' mini-me .

Now a young woman, Suri looks exactly like her mother did when she starred in "Dawson's Creek." Holmes was 18 when she began working on the hit '90s series, and Suri's straight brown hair and messy updo parallel one of the many looks Holmes' sported on the show. The two also share a gaze, eye, and lip shape. Simply put, a teenage Suri is teenage Holmes' twin. Unsurprisingly,  Holmes is said to have an incredibly close relationship with her daughter . It's no wonder that the two even dress alike.

Although she's a massive celebrity, Katie Holmes has admitted that she enjoys dressing casually when she's not at work, telling  Glamour , "I think we all want our sweats." With this in mind, the "Dawson's Creek" star is often pictured in jeans or wearing a T-shirt and sneakers. Like her mother, the photos above show that Holmes' daughter, Suri Cruise, has no problem flaunting a relaxed look. With dark sweatpants and a red T-shirt, Cruise looks like an average teen rather than someone with two of the world's most famous parents. 

However, these are not the only similar outfits the two have rocked. In December 2022, Holmes wore a Y2K-inspired outfit on the red carpet that featured a mini dress over jeans and sneakers. Months later, Cruise was pictured wearing a long denim skirt with black sneakers that screamed throwback. In 2023, the mother and daughter looked more like sisters while wearing laid-back airport outfits, per  Page Six . The pair wore sweats and sweaters paired with dark shoes. Despite dressing lowkey, both Holmes and Cruise are known to be fashionistas, and the teen reportedly plans to study fashion. 

Cruise perhaps looks to her mother in "Dawsons Creek" for fashion inspo. Holmes told Glamour about her daughter's style, "I think the '90s style is exactly back. Makes me feel old. We lived through that already! My mom says she should have saved things. I should have saved things."

Jodie sweetin shared a photo of herself helping her eldest daughter zoie practice her driving as she works to obtain her license, and even made a full house reference..

Have mercy— Jodie Sweetin is navigating life as a mom of a driver.

The  Full House alum , 42, shared a selfie herself riding in a car with her  look-alike daughter Zoie Herpin , who is almost 16 years old, sitting behind the wheel.

"This is me not at all worried while riding with Zo practicing her 'neighborhood driving' with her new Drivers Permit," Jodie captioned her March 30 Instagram post. "Actually… she was VERY good."

The actress then made a  Full House reference, joking, "As long as she never backs the car through the kitchen…we're good."

In a 1990 episode of the sitcom, Jodie's character Stephanie, then 7 years old, enters a 1963 AMC Rambler owned by her family's friend and roommate Joey ( Dave Coulier ) when she is left unsupervised. She wants to turn on the radio but accidentally starts the engine instead and crashes the classic car into the kitchen of their house.

Zoie had begun to learn to drive last year. Her dad Cody Herpin , Jodie's ex-husband, shared an Instagram photo of the teen siting in the driver's seat of his own vehicle in July. "And This is Happening," he captioned the pic, later adding in the comments, "She's 15 and learning how to drive on my car."
