Starting on board the private boat (a Venetian Limousine ) for exclusive use you will visit the gardens and the most beautiful villas of Lake Como: Villa Carlotta , Villa Melzi D’Eril and Villa Balbianello .

At the end of this splendid tour you will enjoy a wine tasting in a Bellagio wine shop accompanied by a tasty board of cold cuts and cheese .

Note: Tours start at 10 a.m. or 12 noon from Bellagio (the exact location and all other details, such as the boat captain's phone number, will be provided about 10 days before the tour date).

• 10 am Depart from Bellagio aboard the private boat (Venetian Limousine) and sail to Villa del Balbianello
• 10:30 am Arrival at Villa del Balbianello and free time for a guided tour of the Villa and its gardens
• 12:00 pm Departure from Villa Balbianello aboard the private boat and navigation to Villa Carlotta

I am a tour operator in Italy for the past 22 years. I have never in my life met a person and a company with such bad service and no will to take responsibility for it. I charterd in may 7 boats with Alberto. We specificaly requested to sail together next to each other as this was an incentive group. During the course of the trip from Como to Bellagio non of the boats saild together, it was a mess, no one knew where other boats were, of course when one boat broke down in the middle of the lake it was chaos. Then I had another tour, Alberto appologiesed and promised me and reassured me next tour will be good. I was sure he would go out of his way to make it 100% to save face from last time, it can happen a boat breaks down... Big mistake. I took 13 CEO , my best and valuable client in 2 boats. Ofcourse only one boat arrived to pick us up, after 49 min he found another, ckientsxwsiting on the dock in the sun..., Half way to Bellagio the second boat runs out if gas. Crazy. I lost this client for good. Paid alberto all the money. He dies not take any responsibility, claiming all is fine and service rendered. Communication with Alberto was great, he told us early on they were running 30mins late and the new meeting time. Maurizio our caption called us as soon as he arrived and he was fantastic, I was travelling with my 80 year old grandmother and he was so patient and kind with her! He took us to the most amazing spots and told us all about the villas, we pulled up to some incredible places to go swimming. Honestly could not recommend this enough it’s well worth the money, I feel like you cannot fully explore Lake Como without a private tour. Thank you Alberto and Maurizio! We started at 9:15 and the boat ride was pleasant enough. It is a bit difficult to hear the commentary as the boat engine is loud (understandably). We boated up to Laglio and turned around. The operator spent much of the time on his phone and would occasionally look up from his phone to move the steering wheel, etc. We got back at 10 am so tour wasn’t quite a full hour (about 45 to 50 minutes). I was slightly irritated at first because the boat was 15 minutes late and we were waiting outside in the blazing heat but after the captain picked us up and we started going out it was awesome. The lake is huge and pretty. We drank a bottle Prosecco and enjoyed ourselves. The captain did make it up to us and the boat tour was slightly longer to make up for the tardiness. Also it wasn’t very clear on who was picking you up at the dock. There were about 4 other boats there and none had any signage or anything to help indicate which one was the correct company. We went to Como lake especially for this trip and waited there in the 40dgrees sun and come with nothing. In the end we find out that the boat had a technical problem and couldn’t drive us.!!!!! They didn’t inform us at all!!! We had the trip planned and paid!!! For 03.07.22 at16:00 . We was there at 15:50 waited till 16:30 then I called the nr +393392220140. The guy who took the phone said us that oh we have a problem with boat and you need to wait. I asked him how long should we wait he just said wait wait. Then I insist. After it he gave me an another nr (driver) to call and learn about time. We called the rudest guy ever!!! I told him that we have a rez. With them at 16:00. He just started to yell at me and saying that he has no appointments today. Meanwhile we saw a guy in the boat yelling at phone and we understood it was him. We directly went him and say it was me on phone and he has a tour with us then he changed his actions and says oh what’s your name Blabla. In the end he checked his list and said oh yes you have but I can’t drive you I have problem with my boat and he said that we need to call the same guy who gave us his nr 🤦🏽‍♀️😡😡. There is no apologies!!! No shame!! No information nothing!!!! Ugliest people ever!! After it we called the first guy for asking about our money that we paid to TripAdvisor. He said that he has nothing to do with and he said that he will cancel the booking and the company that reached to them hopefully will pay us 😡. And the thing is there is many many boats which you go to same ride for 50€ each person. We were 3 person and paid 260€ which it was more expensive and had nothing in the end . This is a really quick jaunt around the lake. You go from about Lungo Lario to Cernobbio. Our guide was very informative and we felt safe and well cared for in the back of the boat.
