Favorite part of our trip!

Absolute must do!! This was our favorite outing in Florence. Alex was a fantastic guide! He was so fun and taught us a lot about the region!
Highly recommend
by: K5539 on Tripadvisor
We loved cruising around in our little Fiat. What a fun day. The views are just incredible, the staff was professional and so kind (thank you Gabrielle) and the cars are adorable. Lunch was served on a beautiful, private patio with garden views and the food was very good. Good info to know: our meeting time was 8:30, but the actual driving tour didn’t start until 10:30. There was a bus ride to their garage, instructions and a quick test drive for everyone. We were in a group with people doing the same tour on Vespas and all rode together. I highly recommend this tour. See the outskirts of Florence in a completely unique way.

Stephenado was AMAZING!! the tour was fantastic and my husband loved it! If you can drive a manual go for fiats!! The food was great and the views were 100/10!!!
Get out of the city in a once in lifetime experience

Being able to see the Tuscan countryside and getting out of the city is an absolute treat. It was gorgeous. I would highly recommend bringing driving gloves as the steering wheel is not wrapped in leather.
Joy ride with a view and delicious food.

This was so much fun driving an old Fiat. We stopped at beautiful views on the country side of Florence. The tour guide was funny and knowable about the area. The lunch stop was beautiful scenery and the food was delicious.
Believe the reviews - great tour

Fantastic day out

Absolutely fantastic day out, great tour guide (David) and stunning views. Would highly recommend for a day out.
Fantastic experience - you won’t be disappointed
by: Mum66016 on Tripadvisor
This activity was fantastic. Highly recommended. From the moment we were introduced to Stefano, Chris and Alex they did their best to make the trip enjoyable for all. The cars were great fun to drive and with the convoy of vintage Fiat 500s and Vespas was a lovely thing to see and be part of and loved equally by the locals. Lunch was tasty (although make sure you wear insect repellent on your legs). Views and countryside are stunning. We enjoyed it so much we would do the whole trip again in a heartbeat. You won’t be disappointed.
by: Flyer738627 on Tripadvisor
Loved being in the little car and driving around. Lovely visit to vineyard and hear the local history.

We had a small group tour with Luca in the vintage Fiats. The tour was amazing, driving all the small country roads, seeing the beautiful views, and having a delicious lunch in an adorable town on the hill. Luca has such an infectious passion for vintage cars and bikes and we are so glad we had a chance to do this tour while in Lucca. Very cool to drive a vintage classic!
We had the most wonderful experience with Luca and Drive the Vintage! We only had a short time in Tuscany and I really wanted to see the countryside. I found Drive the Vintage as I was looking for driving tour options. Luca offers guided drives, but he also rents out his Fiat 500’s, and that’s what we decided to do! Communication via email was smooth, and when we showed up, our beautiful red Fiat was ready and waiting! Luca sent us a route to follow that took us on back roads to MonteCarlo. It was one of the most perfect drives and villages to visit. He also had lunch recommendations which was appreciated, and offered to drive us to the train station after we finished our drive! The entire experience is one not to miss! Only thing to note is the cars are manual, so someone in your group needs to have the know-how to drive a manual car. Thankfully my friend did, and we didn’t have to miss out on this experience! Thank you Luca! We hope to come back again someday!
We love FIAT 500! Actually, Who doesn’t? Italy is already a beautiful country but drinving such an icon is like jumping on a time machine and have a completely new way of admiring the stunning views and landscapes of Tuscany. I would like to underline that this experience wouldn’t be the same without Luca (the owner of Drive the Vintage), we have been working with him since already years and I have to say that he really make the difference! The way he cares about his customers, the way he presents the cars, the way he guides you during the tour is something unique, you can really feel the passion and energy he puts in his work. So if you are looking for something fresh, something full of culture, energy and fun, ask Luca…he will take care of the rest. Enjoy!
Idea geniale in posti straordinari!!!
Last Year my wife Antonella Nichinonni and I had a wonderful day out with Luca enjoying the wonderful countryside of Tuscany in the company of Luca at Drive the Vintage.
The whole day was magical from start to finish, to drive on the quiet and specular country roads around the City of Lucca was magical, like being the stars of our own romantic movie!
The Fiat Bambino’s are so pretty, taking us back in time. We were given a short briefing about how to operate the car and equip ped with a two way radio we set off with Luca leading in his Bambino to form a gorgeous little convoy, we found the car easy to operate with a Luca leading us carefully around his local backroads.
We stopped mid morning for a beautiful a Cafe and Cornetto at a spectacular little village Bar before continuing our itinerary taking in historical landmarks, a fantastic lunch with a glass of wine before travelling home via an ancient Roman road.
It was quite simply the highlight of our time in Italy, Luca is a wonderful host and an experience not to be missed if you are visiting Lucca in Tuscany.
Ci siamo davvero divertiti , e è stata una vera emozione poter guidare una 500 d’epoca! Sicuramente lo consiglio vivamente!!!

The most important Sicilian scenes of the Godfather trilogy were filmed in Savoca , Forza d’Agrò and in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia but not in Corleone (as many believe). Corleone , near Palermo in Sicily, was too modern and developed even in the early 70s to be used for filming a story dated back to the early 1950s.
If you are a fanatic of the film you may be also interested to visit the Castello degli Schiavi in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia( also known as the Godfather Villa ). Here was shot one of the most famous scenes in the first Godfather film , when Apollonia was murdered by a car bomb explosion.
