We welcome you and your family (or classroom) to schedule a tour of the historic capitol building through the Indiana Department of Administration’s Statehouse Tour Office .

C-SPAN ’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2019 LCV Cities Tour” in Indianapolis, Indiana, from September 21-27, 2019, to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Charter cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. All tours of the Statehouse are free and you have the option of a self-guided tour or joining a tour group. Guided tours are available Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays).
