Jurassic World Live Tour, an exhilarating and unpredictable live, family entertainment experience that brings the wonder and thrills of Jurassic World to generations of fans is coming to Fiserv Forum Nov. 11-13.

With unrivaled arena production quality, Jurassic World comes to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favorite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take center stage. The production features more than 24 film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs, with scale, speed and ferocity, operated by animatronics and performers.

Jurassic World’s unmistakable score combined with projection and practical scenery transforms the arena into the dense jungles of Isla Nublar, where real Gyrospheres roll through the valley and scientists work to unravel a corrupt plan and save anew dinosaur from a terrible fate. With pulse-pounding stunts and an original, authentic storyline, this show is guaranteed to make memories that will last another 65 million years.

There is a  NO BAG  policy at Fiserv Forum. Wallets  smaller than 4” x 6” x 1” are permitted . Exceptions to this policy are diaper bags and bags needed due to medical necessity, which will need to be x-rayed by security.

Don’t call it a costume!

When Olive, the baby stegosaurus is out and about with her handler, John Palmeri, she and John are very much in character. There’s no talk of special effects. No talk of puppeteering. They ARE a dinosaur and paleontological veterinarian.

Asked if she’s one of the stars of the show, Palmeri speaks as if you’re a guest at Jurassic Park. "She absolutely is,” he boasts, enthusiastically. “She's one of seven different dinosaur species, 21 different full-sized, fully lifelike dinosaurs that we're going to have in the show.”

The show is "Jurassic World Live Tour," and it’s coming to Fiserv Forum in November. Olive and Palmeri were speaking with TODAY’S TMJ4’s Vince Vitrano in the arena’s atrium this week. “So you'll see Olive in the show,” Palmeri said. “You'll see her mother, the full-sized stegosaurus. You'll see triceratops. You'll see fan favorites like Blue the velociraptor, and, of course, to quote John Hammond, 'We have a T-Rex.’ ”

Milwaukee is only the fourth stop on tour for Feld Entertainment’s new show. The lifelike dinosaur spectacle tells a story that fits into the “Jurassic Park” film series timeline. Palmeri said it falls between the fourth and fifth films in the franchise.

Once Olive retreats to backstage, Palmeri is out of character and forthcoming about the talent it takes to make dinosaurs come to life. “Especially in the case of the velociraptor, which gets very close to the audience,” he said. “You need to look smooth and predatory with what you're doing. You can't be just clunking around in these costumes.”

He refers to the people inside the costumes as dinoteers and as world-class athletes. Olive’s costume weighs 130 pounds. “You have to be able to carry and animate that load in a very, non-natural position for the human body,” Palmeri said.

As Olive and handler, the pair will make promotional stops all over Milwaukee this week, including schools, Discovery World, and visiting with fans at a Milwaukee Bucks game.

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. (Dec. 26, 2023) – North America’s most popular interactive dinosaur experience is BACK, BIGGER and BETTER than EVER! Milwaukee-area families can walk among the nation’s biggest herd of photorealistic dinosaurs when Jurassic Quest ® opens at the Wisconsin State Fair Park for one weekend only January 5-7, 2024.

New for 2024! Jurassic Quest is bringing more hands-on activities, education and fun. This evolution, Jurassic Quest includes an expanded Excavation Station and more Jurassic-themed rides and inflatables. Even our animatronic herd has expanded to include fan favorites, the Utahraptor and Giganotosaurus. In addition to “The Quest,” a self-guided scavenger hunt style activity where budding paleontologists can become Jr. Dinosaur Trainers, Jurassic Quest has launched a new video tour that’s already getting “roaring good” reviews from families and features our star dino trainers: Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Prehistoric Nick and Park Ranger Marty (available onsite and on your phone via QR code)! All expanded activities are included with general admission. New attractions launching this winter include kids facing off with the notoriously fast Jurassic Quest Utahraptors for “Raptor Run” races, and “Rope-a-Raptor,” where  experienced “BrontoBusters” help kids lasso stray dinos to get them back to their pens.

The Jurassic Quest herd of animatronic dinos – from the largest predators to playful baby dinos – are displayed in realistic scenes with some that move and roar, allowing guests to experience them as they were when they roamed Earth millions of years ago. Jurassic Quest works in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is painstakingly replicated in every detail, from coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs looked and moved. Families also have the unique opportunity to meet the babies, hatched only at Jurassic Quest: Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the T-Rex and Trixie the Triceratops.

Advance purchase online recommended to ensure desired date and availability at www.jurassicquest.com , or tickets are available on-site, and include a 100% ticket guarantee that in the event of a show cancellation or postponement for any reason, ticket purchases will be automatically refunded for the full purchase amount.

General admission tickets include access to the dinosaur exhibits, arts and crafts activities, and dinosaur shows. There are rides and activities that require activity tickets available on site, or guests can upgrade to the Kids Unlimited Ticket (the best value for children ages 2-10). Entry is free for children under age 2. Guests can walk through the dinosaur experience at their own pace, and strollers are permitted. Socks required for inflatable attractions. Some venues may have wheelchairs for use, but please contact the venue in advance to make arrangements.

4 things to do in Milwaukee this weekend, including Trainfest and Jurassic World Live Tour

1. Trainfest at Wisconsin State Fair Park

Trainfest returns to State Fair Park's Wisconsin Exposition Center Nov. 12-13. A slew of elaborate model railroad layouts will be up and running, and, if you get the itch to create your own, there'll be workshops and seminars, as well as hundreds of vendors, to get you on, um, track. Trainfest runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Tickets at the door: Nov. 12, $20, $10 for children ages 2 to 16; Nov. 13, $15, $5 for children ages 2 to 16; free for kids younger than 2. Two-day admission is $21, $11 for those ages 2 to 16. Info: train-fest.com .

2. Jurassic World Live Tour at Fiserv Forum

Get ready for another dinosaur invasion this weekend, when Jurassic World Live Tour arrives. The show features more than 24 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including a 40-foot-tall-plus tyrannosaurus rex and a velociraptor named Blue (yes, just like in the movie). Performances are at 7 p.m. Nov. 11; 11 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Nov. 12; and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 13. Tickets range from $20 to $125. Info: jurassicworldlivetour.com .

3. Re:Craft & Relic Holiday Market

The holiday edition of Re:Craft & Relic's market will bring 160 vendors of artisan, vintage and upcycled stuff to the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, 6000 W. Ryan Road, Franklin, this weekend. Among the items on display: jewelry, architectural salvage, clothing, refinished furniture and more. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12 and 13. Admission is $7, free for kids 12 and younger. Info: recraftandrelic.com.

4. 'Dirty Dancing in Concert' at the Riverside Theater

You can see them not put Baby in the corner on the big screen and on stage at the Riverside Theater Nov. 12, when "Dirty Dancing in Concert" pairs a screening of a remastered version of the beloved movie with a live band and singers performing the song score in sync with the movie. The touring production coincides with the 35th anniversary of "Dirty Dancing's" release in theaters. The show starts at 8 p.m.; tickets are $25 to $76.25. Info: pabstheatergroup.com .
