Saga launches full range of 2024 ocean cruises
29 March 2023 : This week, Saga has officially launched its full range of 2024 ocean cruises with 48 all-inclusive itineraries now available.
New for 2024, Saga has revamped its UK travel package and the included chauffeur service has now been extended to 300 miles from the departure dock (previously it was 250 miles). Those guests who live further afield and choose to join the cruise via a domestic flight to London or Southampton will also receive a chauffeur service from home to their local airport. They will then be picked up from their flight and driven to the ship, making the whole experience easy and stress-free.
This latest launch of 2024 cruises sees Saga complete the line-up for next year, following its announcement last November of its first ten itineraries , which will take place between January and March 2024.
Saga is committed to offering early bookers the best deals, so these new cruises are launching with up to 35 per cent off the full price. Saga also offers a price promise , whereby if the price of the cruise ever drops, guests who have paid the higher price will get the value difference.
Highlights for Spirit of Discovery will include:
- A 12-night all-inclusive Exploring Spain and Western France cruise departing 28 April 2024 from Portsmouth. For the first time, Saga will visit Douarnenez , a small port town with an active sardine fishing and canning industry. It has an attractive town-centre, known as the Quartier du Vieux, with 18 th century houses, churches and chapels. Douarnenez’s picturesque waterfront has a choice of cafes and restaurants, and there are coastal paths including one to the Plomarc'h Natural Site with traditional fishing cottages and an archaeological area. The cruise will also visit Bordeaux, home to a former royal square, Place de la Bourse, and the Cailhau Gate, a 15th-century defensive gateway dedicated to Charles VIII. It wouldn’t be a trip to Bordeaux without a visit to one of the prestigious estates for a wine tasting. This cruise also visits La Pallice – the ‘Sleeping Beauty’ castle in La Roche Courbon. And finally the cruise visits Bilbao and its modern Guggenheim Museum, which contrasts sharply with the city’s medieval quarter and 19th-century industrial heritage. Prices start from £2,799 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
- An 18-night all-inclusive Greenland and Iceland Wilderness Explorer cruise departing on 10 July 2024 from Dover. In Iceland, guests will experience the sights of Reykjavik including the Golden Circle and the remote West Coast from Isafjordur. From there they will cruise to three remote settlements in southern Greenland: Qaqortoq which is the largest town in southern Greenland with brightly coloured wooden homes; Narsarsuaq, the gateway to exploring the Qoroq Ice Fjord with its stunning blue icebergs, and Nanortalik, ‘the place of polar bears’. Departing Greenlandic waters, Spirit of Discovery will travel through the incredible Prince Christian Sound, a narrow passage where glaciers reach down towards the sea, before calling into Akureyri in the north of Iceland for opportunities to visit Godafoss Waterfall and spot whales in the surrounding fjord. Prices start from £4,999 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
- Spirit of Discovery will be heading to the Canary Islands for the festive season. Leaving Portsmouth on 19 December 2024, the Christmas in the Canary Islands all-inclusive cruise will visit Leixoes (for Oporto), Cadiz, Las Palmas, Santa Cruz (Tenerife), Santa Cruz (La Palma), Arrecife, Funchal and Lisbon. Prices start from £5,116 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
Highlights for Spirit of Adventure include:
- A 22-night all-inclusive Athens and the Greek Islands cruise departing on 17 April 2024 from Portsmouth, which, for the first time for Saga, will visit Hydra with its picturesque amphitheatre of stone mansions built in the 18th and 19th centuries by merchant captains. Nowadays, celebrities, artists and the yachting set are drawn to the island with its combination of traditional and glamorous bars and restaurants. Other highlights from the cruise include a visit to the small fishing village of Katakolon, which is considered the gateway to the mystical site of Ancient Olympia. This tour will visit the site where the first Olympiad was held in 776 BC and the Temple of Zeus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Athens is also included in this cruise with a visit to the Acropolis and a drive past Constitution Square, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Olympic Stadium. The ship also stops in Argostoli from where you can visit Fiskardo village for lunch with a view towards Ithaki. Prices start from £6,114 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
- A 12-night all-inclusive Scandinavian Gems cruise departing Dover on 30 May 2024 (also repeated on Spirit of Discovery on 4 August 2024). This cruise will visit Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany and Norway and some of their lesser-known ports, including, for the first time, Gudhjem in Bornholm, Denmark. This tiny fishing port with a population of around 750 people has a cosy atmosphere and plenty of shops, boutiques and cafes. Guests can also explore the island of Bornholm or take the ferry across to the fortress island of Christiansø. This cruise will also visit Klaipeda in Lithuania with its German and Scandinavian architecture, lovingly restored half-timbered buildings, and beautiful local countryside. Guests will also have the chance to visit Copenhagen, home to three Royal Palaces, and the Aarhus Museums. Den Gamle By (the old town) is one of the finest open-air museums in Europe and provides a glimpse into Danish life through the centuries, while the AROS Museum is a vast Art Museum with a large collection of works. A stop in Gothenburg includes a vintage tram ride to the Hagg District, one of the oldest neighbourhoods, with well-preserved houses lining the cobbled streets. Prices start from £3,018 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
- For Christmas, Spirit of Adventure will be heading to the Caribbean from Portsmouth on 6 December 2024 for a 30-night all-inclusive cruise. The Festive Celebrations in the Caribbean cruise will include: Barbados with its lively Capital of Bridgetown; St Lucia with the Piton mountains and Creole culture; Grenada the ‘Isle of Spice’; the lesser-known Dominica with lush rain forests, gorges and waterfalls; the tiny island of Nevis; Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands and the ever-popular island of Antigua, where the ship calls in Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will be spent at sea and Spirit of Adventure will anchor off Funchal to see the New Year in. Prices start from £8,106 per person for a standard balcony cabin (based on two sharing).
Saga has also been delighted with the response from its advanced registration guests to a new Israel and Ancient Egypt cruise, which is already nearly full. Guests are able to register in advance with the cruise line to ensure they secure their first choice of itinerary and cabin. This 24-night cruise departs Dover on 9 September 2024 and will visit Gibraltar, Syracuse (Sicily), Souda (for Chania in Crete), Rhodes Town (Rhodes), Antalya (Turkey), Paphos (Cyprus), Ashdod (Israel), Haifa (Israel), Alexandria (Egypt), Valletta (Malta) and Ceuta (Spain) before returning home. There are limited cabins still available, so guests wishing to secure this cruise should call Saga on 0800 051 3355 to enquire about availability.
Also back by popular demand are a range of seven short round-Britain cruises. These include: Spring in Southern Ireland, departing on April 8 on Spirit of Discovery and visiting Bantry Bay and Cobh (prices from £1,147 pp); two Guernsey, Isles of Scilly and the Cornish Coast cruises departing on Spirit of Adventure on 11 June and Spirit of Discovery on 5 July 2024 (prices from £1,182 pp), and a Summertime in the British Isles cruise departing 16 June on Spirit of Adventure (prices from £2,676 pp).
And, of course, Saga guests can also choose from a range of other popular cruises throughout the year to destinations such as the USA, the Mediterranean, Norway (and the Northern Lights), Africa, the Caribbean and the Canary Islands.
In addition to the complimentary chauffeur service, Saga’s boutique ocean cruises are all-inclusive with no hidden costs on-board either. Saga Cruises come with all dining and house drinks including a selection of cocktails, draft beers and lagers, wines, spirits, mixers and soft drinks. New for 2023 and in response to guest feedback, a selection of premium label spirits are also available at no additional cost. Wi-Fi, gratuities, fitness facilities, 24-hour room service, sightseeing tours in selected ports, entertainment (from lectures to recitals to shows), porterage of luggage, shuttle buses to nearest town centres and travel insurance are also included.
Guests can view and book these 2024 cruises at saga.co.uk/2024-cruises or by calling 0800 051 3355.

2024 Greek Isles Cruise Must-Visit Sites
With an array of islands to discover, you might be wondering what to do and see in each location. Discover some must-visit sites and shore excursions at several popular Greek islands to inspire your travel planning.
Santorini is one of the world's most photogenic islands. It's renowned for its cliffside views of the sea, the caldera, and azure waters. Santorini owes its remarkable geography to a volcanic eruption more than 3,500 years ago, and some believe it is the site of the long-lost city of Atlantis. To experience the volcano closely, you can book a shore excursion that includes a brisk hike to the crater of this active volcano. Return to the island and celebrate your accomplishment with lunch in the clifftop town of Fira.
The village of Oia, known for its iconic postcard images of Santorini, is also a must-visit destination. Wander through the narrow alleys and discover Oia's hidden charms. Oenophiles might consider a wine tour that brings them to one of the island's famous wineries. Here, you can learn all about the interesting growing methods and the island's prized Assyrtiko wines.

Mykonos is known for its lively parties and offers abundant sightseeing opportunities. Take a walking tour to delve into the history and lifestyle of this beloved Aegean island. Witness the iconic windmills and the Little Venice neighborhood. If you're intrigued by Greek mythology, take a shore excursion to the nearby island of Delos. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis.
Upon arriving in Corfu , you'll immediately notice how lush the island is. Relish views of hillside villages and shimmering waters. Opt for an excursion on a scenic drive through the countryside, teeming with olive and lemon trees. You'll drive along the coastal road of Perama, stop for photos at Mouse Island, and visit Old Town Corfu. If you prefer to explore independently, book the Hop-On Hop-Off bus that takes you to famous sights in Corfu while riding on an open-air double-decker bus.
Argostoli calls the Ionian island of Kefalonia home. Argostoli presents a modern face due to a devastating earthquake in 1953 that destroyed most of the island's significant structures. Despite its lack of historical architecture, Kefalonia offers plenty of contemporary charm and is brimming with eateries, boutiques, and terraces. Explore a 12th-century Byzantine castle and marvel at the stunning 16th-century frescoes. Or visit the subterranean Lake of Melissani, where ancient stalactites and light streams transform the water into a vivid shade of blue.
Rhodes was once the home of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. The island features a captivating walled city that merits a visit if your Norwegian Greek Isles itinerary includes a day here. Excursions on Rhodes include the ancient town of Lindos with its beautiful acropolis or the majestic Grand Masters Palace. Alternatively, consider a journey to Ancient Lindos and Medieval Rhodes. Book a sailing trip along the eastern shore with a swimming and snorkeling stop if you'd like to explore Rhodes from the water.
Situated on the island of Crete, Heraklion boasts abundant ancient Venetian architecture from the 13th century, including imposing fortified walls. This city is also the gateway to the Minoan Knossos Palace, the alleged birthplace of the mythological Minotaur. Shore excursions on Crete may include visits to Knossos and Heraklion or traditional villages. If you're a wine enthusiast, consider a tour of the renowned wine-producing region of Peza.
Patmos offers an abundance of natural beauty and religious history. Some biblical scholars believe John, one of Jesus' apostles, penned the Book of Revelation here. As a cruise passenger, you can visit the Monastery of Saint-John the Theologian, where you'll find the chapel built above the cave where St. John lived and received the revelation. Immerse yourself in Patmos' natural splendor and visit the island's picturesque pebbled beaches and serene villages.
Katakolon serves as the port of call for Olympia, the dwelling of Greek gods and the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Situated on the Ionian Sea, Katakolon and Olympia offer passengers on a Norwegian Greek Isles cruise an opportunity to step back into some of the most significant historical sites in the Mediterranean.

My wife and I have just booked shore excursions for the above cruise. One we have booked for Malta is St Andrews Monastery & Wine Tasting. The description made mention of a dress code for the Monastery. Does anyone have any idea what this dress code would be? Would a short sleeved T-shirt and knee length shorts be acceptable for me? For my wife, would a knee length skirt, shorts or dress be acceptable provided her shoulders are covered? I ask, because having booked the excursion I can't go back into it to check.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Dress codes in religious building vary from country to country and even within them, and I have no personal experience of them in Malta. As a general rule however, I have found that in Roman Catholic or Greek Orthodox establishments the general rule for both sexes is that shoulders and knees must be covered. Which for you means a short sleeved tee shirt would be fine, but not a sleeveless one. And long trousers not shorts. As regards your wife, a knee length dress with sleeves would probably be fine as would be jeans or other long trousers with a sleeved top, but not shorts.
Perhaps someone has specific details of the establishment you are visiting.
I think you mean the Keffallonnia, not Malta and it just says " Conservative attire is required for the visit to the Monastery" and what that means in practice I have no idea but shorts may not be acceptable. I would suggest you ask at the shore excursion desk once you are on board.

If it is Kefalonia, Princess offer the same tour and say “ Tour Notes - Dress conservatively when visiting sacred sites. Shorts are not permitted and women's clothing must cover the shoulders. ”

Definitely no shorts for men if it's a Greek Orthodox monastery. We visited one in Cyprus and several men were turned away because they were wearing shorts.
Not sure if long shorts covering the knee would be accepted but maybe best not to risk it.
Having said that in some of the more popular tourist religious sites, I have seen shawls offered to cover shoulders and also fabric wraps to cover knees and legs where required

My apologies; it is indeed Kefalonia. Thanks for spotting that.
I'm really looking forward to this cruise... Hopefully I'll see you on board.. 😊

St Peters basilica in the Vatican has similar restiction, and I remember men wearing shorts which finished just below the knee being turned away. All was not lost however as local tradesmen were doing a roaring trade in long overtrousers which satisfied the dress code!

Demand for novel experiences is soaring. So, lines are stepping up their game and pulling out all the stops to catch passenger attention, promising experiences that truly transcend the ordinary. Some operators, such as A-Rosa River Cruises, have noted that matching a customer’s interests to a cruise can persuade the cruise-curious to take their first sailing.
At the Clia 2024 Riverview Conference, A-Rosa’s UK and Ireland managing director Lucia Rowe said, “People are interested in so much more than collapsing on the beach – they love spending their time in a meaningful way.” From pyjama parties to stepping into Hercule Poirot’s shoes on a murder mystery cruise, there’s a sailing to match every passion.
1. Literature Festival at Sea with Cunard
Bookworms craving an intellectual escape can embark on Cunard’s Literature Festival at Sea, where they’ll meet esteemed authors, historians, poets and journalists on a transatlantic voyage to New York oboard the classy Queen Mary II.
The programme of guest speakers is curated by The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, and this year’s line-up includes crime writer Mark Billingham and acclaimed TV writer (and Gavin & Stacey star) Ruth Jones MBE. Passengers can engage in thought-provoking conversations at Q&A sessions and meet their favourite writers at book signings.
Book it: The seven-night Literature Festival at Sea starts at £1,780 per person, departing from Southampton on November 13. The price, which is based on two people sharing a Britannia Oceanview cabin, includes full-board accommodation, transfers and flights back to London. cunard.com
2. Pyjama Party on Virgin Voyages
For clients seeking a departure (pardon the pun) from traditional sailings, suggest a Virgin Voyages itinerary. Its four ships – Brilliant Lady, Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady – offer a range of unusual entertainment, from gravity-defying bungee classes to VHS-themed parties.
As they step on board, guests are invited to slip into their favourite pyjamas pyjamas – be it fleecy PJs, sexy sleepwear or a onesie – and head to the nightclub to embrace the line’s laid-back atmosphere and dance their first night at sea away. For those after a permanent souvenir, each ship has a branch of Squid Ink – the only tattoo parlour at sea. But they are in high demand, so clients will need to book their appointments well in advance.
Book it: A seven-night Irresistible Med & Rome sailing starts at £1,720 per person, based on two sharing an ocean view cabin, departing Barcelona on September 8. The price covers full board, Wi-Fi and tips. virginvoyages.com
3. Murder Mystery with Cruise Croatia
Cruise Croatia has teamed up with Wilfred Webster, a contestant on the first series of The Traitors, for a murder mystery sailing. Passengers onboard MS Adris will engage in a week-long Croatian caper, guided by the charismatic Wilf. The ultimate survivor will win an all-expenses-paid luxury cruise to Greece in 2025.
When they’re not solving gruesome crimes, passengers can disembark at Hvar, Korcula, Vis, Slano and Split to enjoy activities such as visits to national parks, wine tastings, oyster harvesting and daily swims. Onboard amenities include an outdoor lounge area, a splash pool and complimentary access to paddle boards, sea kayaks and snorkelling equipment.
Book it: The seven-night Croatia Murder Mystery Cruise starts at £1,000 per person on a half-board basis, departing on August 10. The price includes private transfers, Wi-Fi, a wine-tasting experience, entrance to Mljet national park and guided city tours. Flights cost extra. cruisecroatia.com
4. A surprise sailing with Windstar
For clients who love a surprise – or simply can’t decide which glorious Greek island to visit – this cruise offers an itinerary unlike any other. Departing from Piraeus, Windstar Cruises’ first President’s Mystery Cruise promises a week-long exploration of hidden gems and secret treasures.
The twist? Each day, the captain will announce the next port of call just 24 hours before arrival. Clients who like to make the most of their cruises should have no fear, as a wealth of shore excursions will showcase the best of each destination. On board this souped-up sailing ship are 44 outside double cabins, a whirlpool bath, a fitness centre and kayaking and paddleboarding equipment.
Book it: The seven-night all-inclusive cruise starts at £1,900 per person, departing April 19, 2025. The price includes select alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, watersports and more. windstarcruises.com
5. Disney Cruises in Alaska
The icy Alaskan wonderland is spectacular – and now, it comes sprinkled with a little Disney magic. This new sailing from Disney Cruise Lines sets off from Vancouver and will transport guests to a world of wonder, from character meet-and-greets with snow-capped mountains as a backdrop to Broadway-style shows inspired by Disney classics.
Passengers will glimpse the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Alaskan wilderness while enjoying the world-class entertainment for which the Disney brand is renowned. The itinerary includes visits to sleepy ports of call such as Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Stikine Icecap, where passengers can marvel at glaciers, as well as brown bears and whales in their natural habitat.
Book it: The eight-night Alaskan Cruise onboard Disney Wonder starts at £1,673 per person, based on two sharing an ocean-view cabin on a full-board basis, departing on September 15, 2025. The price excludes flights and transfers. disneytravelagents.com
6. The Love Boat with Princess Cruises
A Princess Cruises ship served as the filming location for US hit series The Love Boat back in the 1970s. Then, in 2022, an inaugural Love Boat-themed voyage brought the cast back together on board a Princess ship – and this year will see the return of this popular sailing.
Princess Cruises’ celebrations ambassador, The Love Boat actor Jill Whelan will join fellow original cast members on a cheerful cruise sailing from New York and stopping at Newport, Boston, Rockland, Saint John and Halifax. The Love Boat-related activities will include meet-and-greet photo and signing opportunities at the sailaway party, cocktail masterclasses hosted by The Love Boat’s bartender Ted Lange, a cast Q&A, special screenings and themed menus.
Book it: The seven-night cruise onboard Enchanted Princess, which departs on August 31, starts at £999 per person including meals, entertainment, Wi-Fi, two fitness classes and a beverage package. princess.com

7 amazing cruise itineraries to book in 2024
I don't know about you, but each year, as the weather turns cold, I start daydreaming about getting out of Dodge — or, in my case, Pennsylvania. My mind wanders to cruises that will take me to places where the temperature is warmer, but I also take a hard look at the (exceptionally lengthy) list of places I'm longing to visit.
After digging through what's new for 2024, I've come up with a shortlist of sailings that I think are noteworthy. They range from a standard Bahamas voyage with a new twist and an extended Alaska sailing that includes a foray across the Arctic Circle to more far-flung destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dream on, dear reader, and add these to your list of 2024 cruise itineraries.
Note: All prices listed are per person, based on double occupancy, unless otherwise noted. Fares do not include taxes and fees.

Seabourn's 'Kimberley Expedition: Waterfalls and Wandjinas' itinerary
Last year, the Australia and New Zealand cruise region gained momentum following the pandemic shutdown. In 2024, the hardly populated Australia region of The Kimberley is gaining popularity. Luxury cruise brand Seabourn will be offering a series of six 10-night voyages between Broome and Darwin on expedition vessel Seabourn Pursuit during what will be early winter in the southern hemisphere.
The line's " Kimberley Expedition: Waterfalls and Wandjinas " will take passengers to places along the coast few passengers are able to visit to see the stunning teal waters and horizontal waterfalls of Talbot Bay, sample wines in the Hunter River Region and check out nature preserves in Wyndham.
Details: The first sailing, from Darwin to Broome, embarks on June 12. The final voyage, from Broome to Darwin, departs on Aug. 1. Prices start from $6,134 per person ($613 per person, per night), double occupancy, for the July 2 cruise. All accommodations are suites with balconies.
Celebrity's 'Best of Japan' and 'Vietnam and Thailand' cruises
The number of voyages in Asia was trending upward notably prior to 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic brought cruising in the region to an extended halt. And it's once again on the rise. Following that curve, Celebrity Cruises will be running new 11- to 13-night Asia sailings in 2024 on two ships — Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Solstice — that bring stops in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand.
What's notable about the offerings is that they will aim to immerse passengers further into the destinations by including overnights in a total of 11 ports across all itineraries. That means more time to explore Hanoi's Old Quarter as the sun sets, indulge in nighttime gastronomy in Hong Kong, visit one of Bangkok's many markets, or learn why Osaka is known for street food.
Details: Celebrity Millennium's " Best of Japan " cruises run from early mid-March to early October. At press time, the least expensive fares — for a 12-night sailing — start from $1,330 per person ($111 per person, per night) for an inside cabin. It travels round-trip from Yokohama and visits Hiroshima, Pusan and other ports, including Osaka, where the ship will overnight.
Celerbrity Solstice's Vietnam and Thailand cruises kick off in mid-January and run through March. The ship will resume them again in the fall of 2024 and run through the winter season. Prices start from $1,255 per person ($105 per person, per night) for an inside cabin. The voyage sails from Hong Kong to Singapore with stops in Da Nang and Koh Samui, plus overnights in Hanoi and Bangkok.
SeaDream's 'Yachting the Adriatic & Greek Isles' sailing
Here's one to put on your radar if you're looking to book — but not necessarily sail — in 2024. It's a new Mediterranean itinerary that doesn't start up for nearly three more years, in 2026. The SeaDream routing brings stops at seven ports that are rarely visited by cruise passengers. During the seven-night voyages, there will be calls at Primosten, Croatia; Cesme, Turkey; Cetubal, Portugal; and Kythira, Kythnos, Syvota and Tinos, Greece — making these sailings unique and well-suited to anyone who loves the region but who's looking for new places to experience.
SeaDream's small ships, each of which carries just 112 people, are able to reach locales about which passengers on megaships can only fantasize. Couple that with excellent service, and you'll be visiting the Our Lady of Loretto statue in Primosten, touring the Cesme Castle and lounging on stunning Greek beaches from a home base that puts you squarely in the lap of luxury.
Details: An itinerary that includes three of the seven new ports is the 11-night " Yachting the Adriatic & Greek Isles " itinerary from Venice, Italy, to Athens, Greece, departing on Aug. 8, 2026, on SeaDream I. Prices start from $10,399 per person ($946 per person, per night) for a room with a porthole view.
Holland America's 'Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice' Legendary Voyage
Alaska is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys the vastness of untouched wilderness, the wildlife it houses and adventurous pursuits it provides. (Think whale-watching, hiking on glaciers and salmon fishing.) However, Holland America 's Westerdam is hosting a 28-day sailing that's anything but your standard cruise to the Last Frontier .
Passengers will visit the usual Alaska ports, such as Ketchikan, Sitka and Juneau, with scenic sailing through the Inside Passage, past Hubbard Glacier and to Glacier Bay. But they can also expect less-common stops at places like Nome, Kodiak, Anchorage (with an overnight) and Homer. Plus, about halfway through, this cruise crosses the Arctic Circle — a rite of passage for many travelers.
Details: Holland America's 28-day " Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice " cruise — one of the line's Legendary Voyages, known for longer durations and a unique mix of port calls — sails June 9-July 7, round-trip from Seattle. Inside cabins start from $5,299 per person (about $189 per person, per night).
Silversea's summertime French Polynesia cruises
Another consideration for future travel is Silversea Cruises , which is featuring its first full-summer season in French Polynesia in 2026. Silver Whisper will offer two immersive itineraries, including overnights, across 17 voyages between April and September.
Passengers can choose seven-night sailings that visit idyllic favorites like Tahiti, Moorea and Huahine and which also include overnights in Bora Bora. Or, they can cruise for twice as long by selecting a 14-night voyage that calls on the same ports as the seven-night option but with Fakarava, Nuku Hiva, Fatu Hiva, Atuona and Tahuata added.
Details: Silversea's seven-night voyages begin April 6, 2026, and start from $5,650 per person ($808 per person, per night) for an ocean-view cabin.
The line's 14-night sailings start on April 20, 2026. Fares start from $10,450 per person ($747 per person, per night) for ocean-view accommodations.
New Bermuda voyages on Carnival Venezia
Beginning in May of 2025, Carnival Cruise Line 's Carnival Venezia will sail a series of eight four- and five-night cruises to Bermuda from New York. These itineraries are notable because the line is aiming to increase its presence there but also because the style of the ship is new to even most of the brand's most dedicated passengers.
In 2022, Carnival announced its Costa by Carnival concept after revealing it would be transferring ships from its Costa sister brand to the Carnival fleet. Now, when travelers visit the Gibb's Hill Lighthouse or check out the island's renowned pink-sand beaches during a sailing on Carnival Venezia, they can enjoy both the Italian style of the ship and Carnival's fun atmosphere and high service standards.
Details: Voyages kick off on May 22, 2025. Prices start from $429 per person ($108 per person, per night) for an inside cabin on a four-night cruise departing Sept. 18, 2025.
Disney Cruise Line's Lighthouse Point itineraries
Disney Cruise Line 's new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point , a private destination on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, is set to open in June with a three-night preview sailing on June 6 aboard Disney Magic. Following the initial voyage, the line will run regular three- to seven-night voyages to Lighthouse Point on Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream.
The island will feature a dedicated family beach and water play area, an arts and culture pavilion focused on Bahamian culture, 20 family cabanas, an adults-only beach and a selection of shore excursion options.
Details: Prices for itineraries that include Lighthouse Point start from $624 per person ($208 per person, per night) for a three-night cruise on Disney Magic. The cruise departs Nov. 5 and sails from Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
