“Let’s Have Some Fun!” Adam Sandler is Coming to Iowa This Fall

A legendary comedian whose films might be some of your favorite comedies is coming to the Hawkeye state just in time for the Thanksgiving season. That couldn't be more fitting, given his love for turkey .

Adam Sandler is coming to the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA on Monday, November 13th. The  Saturday Night Live funnyman is bringing his "I Missed You Tour" to the area just in time for the new year.

"Let's have some fun,"  Sandler posted on Twitter/X  on September 13th, announcing a full slate of shows that will see him perform everywhere from Fresno to Anaheim, Milwaukee, Memphis, San Antonio, Las Vegas, and as mentioned, Des Moines on November 13th .

Sandler just recently finished his "Adam Sandler LIVE" tour earlier this year, so he's looking to double-back to some familiar locations as well as some new spots, such as the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Adam Sandler hardly needs an introduction. After a wildly successful stint on  Saturday Night Live , Sandler became a staple in comedy movies throughout the nineties:  Billy Madison , Happy Gilmore ,  and  The Waterboy   to name a few. More recently, Sandler's films have been released on Netflix as part of a $250 million multi-picture deal . His newest film,  You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , stars his two daughters.

Where Can You Get Tickets?:

Tickets for Adam Sandler 's "I Missed You Tour" go on sale  this Friday, September 15th at 12pm via Hy-Vee Tix . It's imperative to note that this show is  for mature audiences only , and those under 16-years-old will not be allowed to attend. The Wells Fargo Arena doors open at 6pm on Monday, November 13th, with the show starting at 7:30pm.

Other Midwest dates for the "I Missed You Tour" are as follows:

• November 12: Minneapolis, MN
• November 15: Indianapolis, IN
• December 10: Wichita, KS

This continues to be a big year for Adam Sandler , who is set to embark on a North American comedy tour on the heels of releasing one of the best-reviewed films of his career.

Live Nation announced Wednesday that the star is set to embark on the 25-city I Missed You tour, which launches Oct. 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Its final date is set for Dec. 12 at Denver’s Ball Arena.

The star himself took to Instagram to share a promotional video for the shows, along with the caption, “Let’s have some fun.”

Sandler is staying busy with a multitude of projects, which includes starring opposite Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2 , released in March. More recently, he joined his daughters Sunny Sandler and Sadie Sandler, along with wife, Jackie Sandler, in the coming-of-age comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , which hit Netflix last month and currently holds an impressive 92 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , My Bat Mitzvah director Sammi Cohen praised Sandler for the support he provided to everyone involved with the film.

“He’s hilarious, and he’s always making everything funnier,” Cohen said. “He really gave everyone space to do their thing, but when people needed support, he was there. He’s wearing multiple hats — producing, acting, being an actual dad. It’s almost inhuman. Nothing suffers — he does it all 110 percent.”

(Gray News) – Adam Sandler has announced a North American comedy tour with 25 stops this fall and winter.

On Wednesday, Sandler announced the “I Missed You Tour,” which will kick off in Canada on Oct. 12 and end in Denver on Dec. 12.

The “I Missed You Tour” tickets go on sale Friday

SHABADOO ! Adam Sandler has got a new North American tour that is scheduled to launch next month in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wrap up on Dec. 12 in Denver.

The huge 25-city tour has been dubbed “The I Missed You Tour” and will follow his sold-out “Adam Sandler LIVE” shows from earlier this year. They also promise an as-yet-disclosed special guest.

Ready to see the Sandman IRL?

Sandler, of course, was a “Saturday Night Live” cast member from 1990 to 1995, creating a host of characters that were both whimsical but also a little threatening and gave even the softest scenario some unexpected edge. In the years after “SNL,” he became a huge actor, first starring in some lowbrow comedies like “Billy Madison” and “Happy Gilmore” and then diversifying his portfolio by starring in acclaimed dramas like “Punch-Drunk Love,” “Funny People,” “Uncut Gems” and, most recently, the excellent “Hustle.” He’s also starred in a number of animated features like the “Hotel Transylvania” movies and pioneered the transition to streaming thanks to a lucrative and longstanding deal with Netflix that is still going strong today (“You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” recently hit the service and the animated “Leo” is on the way this fall).

Produced by Live Nation, the tour makes stops in Portland, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Memphis, Toronto and more. This will be a very fun time indeed, with Sandler undoubtedly incorporating new material alongside some of his old standbys.

Tickets will be available starting with a Live Nation presale beginning Thursday, September 14 at 12 PM local time. The general on sale for “The I Missed You Tour” will start Friday, Sept. 15, at noon local tim on  Ticketmaster.com .

Adam Sandler Is Going on a Comedy Tour This Fall, Cities and Dates Announced

The I Missed You Tour spans North America and runs from October 12 to December 12

It's been a massive year for actor-comedian Adam Sandler. He got his whole family involved in Netflix's You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah , which earned stellar reviews from critics and garnered heaps of praise for his daughter, Sunny Sandler, who many predict will have a bright future in the industry. And Adam Sandler Live had a run of sold-out shows earlier this year. If you missed the latter, then you're in luck: Sandler is embarking on a massive 25-city I Missed You concert tour across North America, starting Oct. 12 and running through Dec. 12.

Tickets go  on sale  to the public Friday at 12 p.m. following a Live Nation presale the day prior.

Wells Fargo Arena, which is owned by Polk County and professionally  managed by  OVG360 , a division of Oak View Group, is a 17,000 seat arena that opened July 12, 2005. The arena is part of the Iowa Events Center complex, which also includes Hy-Vee Hall and the Community Choice Convention Center. Each year Wells Fargo Arena hosts the Iowa High School State Wrestling and Girls and Boys Basketball Tournaments. Adam Sandler, in Des Moines on Monday for his comedy show at Wells Fargo Arena , snuck over to Drake University for a quick workout at the Shivers Basketball Practice Facility.

Sandler, a former Saturday Night Live cast member who's starred in dozens of classic comedies, including "Happy Gilmore," "Big Daddy," and "Grown Ups," is known to find a game of basketball anywhere he goes. He got some shots up before stopping to get a few photos with the men's basketball team as their practice was wrapping up.

His show on the "I Missed You Tour" was set to start at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Wells Fargo Arena.

Adam Sandler Announces Next Leg Of 2023 Comedy Tour — Adam Sandler Live

After a successful sold-out touring run in 2022 and early February of 2023, critically acclaimed comedian Adam Sandler will broaden Adam Sandler Live with seven additional cities across the U.S. due to overwhelming demand. Produced by Live Nation, the next 2023 leg kicks off on April 13th at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ making stops across the U.S. in Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleveland, and more before wrapping up in Baltimore, MD at CFG Bank Arena on April 21.

Christian-pop duo For King + Country brings 2024 tour to Wells Fargo Arena this fall

The Grammy-winning group For King + Country returns to Iowa for a show at the Wells Fargo Arena in October.

For King + Country comes to Des Moines on Oct. 5 as part of the “For King and County Live: The Unsung Hero 2024 Tour.”

The Christian-pop duo, composed of Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, are behind songs “God Only Knows,” “For God Is With Us” and “Burn The Ships.”

They helped kick off day one of the Iowa State Fair in 2023 with a Grandstand performance, but that wasn’t their first concert there.

Luke Smallbone described the State Fair as being “world-renowned” and discussed the album “What Are We Waiting For?” in an interview with the Des Moines Register last year.

The Smallbones' journey from Australia to America is the subject of a new movie, "Unsung Hero," that has Joel Smallbone portraying his father.
