5 of the Best Louvre Skip the Line Tours & Tickets

The Louvre is among the finest art museums in the world. Enhance your visit with a little help skipping the queue and navigating the huge interior on these top tours.

There is much about the Louvre (the Mona Lisa, for example) that draws visitors in their droves. Located inside the elegant Louvre Palace, which was started life as the Louvre Castle in the late 12th century, the museum took over in the 18th century, continuing to expand until architect I.M. Pei added the landmark glass pyramids in the main courtyard in 1987. Despite the crowds, it is possible to buy skip-the-queue tickets. And being the world’s largest art museum, a good tour guide will get you to the main artworks with a minimum of fuss.

Louvre Museum Timed-entrance Ticket

One system used by the Louvre to mediate the masses of visitors is to have a timed entry ticket. Enter the museum during a narrow, strict window of time, then spend as long as you want (opening hours-permitting) among the treasures of human creativity once you’re through the doors. There is no guide provided in this option, so it suits those who prefer to experience things at their own pace using the museum’s insightful information panels to add context to the visuals. From €20 per person.

Louvre Masterpieces Tour with Pre-reserved Tickets

See highlights of the Louvre collection, such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo , in two hours, which includes a bypass of the queues, allowing you to enter quickly. Although there are roughly 35,000 artworks on display, your guide will lead you straight to the masterpieces, including Eugène Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People and the Winged Victory of Samothrace , a fascinating sculpture from Ancient Greece, among many others. As with the other guided tours, you’re also free to remain in the Louvre and explore at your leisure, after the highlights tour has ended. From €58 per person.

Louvre Museum Entry Ticket with Guidance to Mona Lisa

The Mona Lisa is synonymous with the Louvre Museum, having been the star of its collection since first going on display in the late 18 th century. For many who visit the museum, with an urge to experience the best artworks but suffering from a lack of time, this tour is the best way to experience Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece. Skip the line with your ticket then meet a member of the museum’s staff to get a valuable insight into the history of the Louvre as you navigate its galleries on your way to the room where the Mona Lisa resides. From €50 per person.

Louvre 3-hour Guided Tour with Skip the Line Entrance

If you have a little more time to spare your guide can provide far more insight into the subtler details of the art. You’ll also have the chance to discover some of the more oft-overlooked treasures inside the gallery, such as the Great Sphinx of Tanis , which might be bypassed on shorter tours in favor of the big hitters like the Mona Lisa . The tour is particularly great for understanding the Renaissance riches of the Louvre, with works from preeminent artists including Caravaggio, Raphael, Michelangelo, as well as Leonardo da Vinci. From €63 per person.

Paris: Louvre Museum Guided Tour

An alternative tour option incorporates a walk through the Tuileries Gardens, with their topiary bushes, statuary and vast fountains. Then skip-the-line on your way into the Louvre, where your guide will highlight the various galleries, such as the Medieval section, and lead you on a 90-minute tour through the cavernous rooms to see the classics, as well as the sublime Winged Victory of Samothrace statue, which has been in the Louvre for many years. From €80 per person.

Lady’s Louvre After-Hours Tour Review

Today I want to share my review of a Louvre after-hours tour with you. This Paris landmark is one of the most famous museums in the world, and it’s worth taking a private tour of the Louvre to see the collection without the crowds.

Louvre After-Hours Tour

Louvre After-Hours Tour

As my press trip to Le Bristol hotel continued, I didn’t think there could be anything more impressive outside of the hotel than inside. How could they top the gorgeous suites, the excellent cuisine, and the relaxing spa treatments?

By giving us access to things we couldn’t get on our own, that’s how. This came in several forms, the first of which was a private Louvre after-hours tour.

Normally reserved for VIP guests at Le Bristol , we were the first press group to experience this luxury firsthand.

Louvre Private Tour

When we arrived at the Louvre, our tour guide and a representative from the Louvre’s partnership office met us outside of I. M. Pei’s famous glass pyramid.

A guard let us pass through the entry barrier, making sure none of the crowd behind us came along for the ride. We felt privileged to be entering the Louvre on a day when the museum was closed to the public.

Canova's Cupid and Psyche sculpture in the Louvre on an after-hours tour

Once inside, our bags were checked and we were given visitor badges to wear. From there we went down the escalators into the cavernous entry hall.

It was eerily quiet, and the museum’s interior looked stark in the absence of the usual crowds.

Denon Wing of the Louvre

Our Louvre after-hours tour began in the Denon wing, which we learned was named after the first director of the Louvre. Our footsteps echoed off the empty halls as we made our way up the stairs.

When we arrived at the top, we found ourselves in a silent room full of sculptures. We still couldn’t believe we had the whole museum to ourselves.

Our guide took us through several famous works of art in the room, including Canova’s Cupid and Psyche and Michelangelo’s  The Slave .

In the absence of the normal throngs that surrounded these sculptures, we were able to get a close look and learn about their history from our guide.

Louvre Sculptures

From there our Louvre after-hours tour took us to the famous Winged Victory of Samothrace , then down empty stairs and quiet corridors to the Venus de Milo .

It was hard to believe how much amazing art we were seeing in the absence of other onlookers.

I kept reminding myself to appreciate how unique the experience was, not least because I would be longing for it if I could ever bring myself to visit the Louvre on a normal day again.

Louvre Moat

After the sculptures, our tour moved on through several of the historically-preserved rooms in the Louvre, then came to a place that I had never seen before: the moat. A moat in the Louvre? Yep.

The original foundations of the former fort were still surprisingly intact, and they were right there below all the art on the upper floors. On that particular day they were the backdrop for a contemporary Russian art exhibition.

Marie de Medici Paintings

After learning about the history and construction of the moat and seeing a scale model of the former fort, our Louvre after-hours tour moved onto the paintings.

The room we saw was a large one that had 24 huge paintings of the life of Marie de Medici. They were all painted by Rubens, who apparently took two years to complete the cycle.

As our tour guide took us through the key paintings in the room, I couldn’t help but feel like we were having a private audience with the queen herself.

Louvre Royal Highlights

Speaking of royalty, we next visited the treasury, where we saw Charles V’s scepter and the coronation sword of the French monarchs.

Then the Louvre after-hours tour continued in Napoleon III’s apartments. The opulent rooms were decorated in sumptuous, over-the-top decor that reminded me of their counterparts in the Hermitage in St Petersburg .

The Grand Salon was the most impressive, with its gold-and-burgundy furniture and massive chandelier.

Louvre After-Hours Tour Review

Between seeing all the royal possessions and being privileged on our after-hours tour of the Louvre, we were beginning to feel like royalty ourselves.

The illusion was kept up back at Le Bristol , where dinner at the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant awaited us. But more on that in another post. We (the royal we) need a break first. To be continued…

What an experience! The photo of the lone person walking in the lobby under the pyramid is hard to imagine…

What a treat! Looking at your photos in the absence of crowds is wonderful. I can only imagine your experience in person. Thank you!

OMG! I can’t tell you how jealous I am:) What a wonderful opportunity, thanks for sharing it with us.

Wow! What an amazing experience. You are one of the few people in the world that will ever have a chance to experience something like this!

Due to an ongoing renovation of the Arc du Carrousel, the meeting point may be a bit crowded. Your Walks coordinator will be waiting for you with a sign.

A Night at the Museum: The Louvre After Hours

It was mid-afternoon when we boarded the ms Sapphire riverboat at a pier on the western end of Paris, and within a couple of hours we found ourselves heading back to the city. Herb and I had signed on with Tauck Tours for a seven-night cruise along the Seine River, with stops along the way to the Normandy coast and back. The first night would be an overnight stay on the riverboat in Paris and a private tour of the Louvre.

Although there were just 32 of us on the cruise – the ms Sapphire’s capacity is 98 – the Tauck team was continuing with all tours and special events as planned. This was travel in the so-called post-pandemic world, and it was immediately clear that everyone on board was thrilled to be traveling again, whatever that would look like and whatever it might mean.

Paris traffic was intense, especially around a notoriously busy intersection near the Arc de Triomphe, and Herb and I were grateful that we had been staying at a central location where it was easy to get around on foot and by Métro. And when our bus turned into an underground parking garage that was connected to an interior entrance to the Louvre, I was equally relieved that I had taken photos of the central courtyard pyramid two days earlier rather than waiting until the tour. Carpe diem, as always!

The Inverted Pyramid

The Louve is one of the world’s most expansive and extensive art museums, with more than 30,000 works on display, dating from the ancient world to 1850. Our family had visited the Louvre fifteen years ago, but not with a guide and definitely not after hours. I remember being overwhelmed by the magnitude of the place and actually preferring the more intimate and Impressionistic art-filled world of the Musée d’Orsay. On this visit, I was looking forward to having a guide navigate the way as well as hopefully gaining a better understanding of the history behind some of the art.

Our first stop was the Inverted Pyramid, I.M. Pei’s interior nod to his exterior architectural masterpiece. Installed in 1993 near the underground entrance to the Louvre, the pyramid serves as a skylight, suspended about four-and-a-half feet above the floor. A small stone pyramid sits below and seems to almost touch the tip of the Inverted Pyramid.

A Few Louvre Highlights – The Sculptures

We made our way through a security check – vaccination cards as well as anything we were carrying – and were briefed about the museum’s mask requirement. Our wonderfully knowledgeable guide talked about the history of the building as we walked to the first works of art. The Louvre was originally built as a fortress in the 12th century and was transformed into a royal palace in the 16th century. When Louis XIV moved the royal residence to Versailles in 1682, the Louvre became home to a variety of art academies. In 1793 it opened to the public as a museum.

And The Paintings

We left the ancient world and worked our way into the fifteenth century. As I took in the artwork, I was also struck by the beauty of the galleries. It was easy to imagine that this had once been a palace on the grandest of scales. To be here with only our small group was extraordinary, and I found myself getting lost in the quiet of the moments. But as surreal as it was, I was constantly aware that Louve staff and security were stationed everywhere we went. Our route was well choreographed, and I was impressed by our guide’s ability to make the tour seem effortless and almost spontaneous.

after hours tour of the louvre

The End of the Day

The sun had already gone down by the time we left the Louvre. Night was falling over Paris, lights ablaze on the Eiffel Tower. As we rode along the Seine to the pier, I was grateful we had one more day in Paris before it was time to leave. One more day. There are never enough days, are there?

after hours tour of the louvre

So envious. I, and a college friend of 50+ years, was supposed to take a Tauck River Cruise to Normandy in October 2020. Clearly that didn’t happen, and I can no longer leave my husband alone for that period of time. When he and I did do the Uniworld River Cruise down the Rhone in 2009, we did see much of Paris that you described, but no time to see the Louvre. Continue traveling so I can appreciate vicariously, Mary.

Thank you, Robin

Robin, I’m sorry to hear that your cancelled Tauck cruise was a victim of the pandemic, but I’m happy you enjoyed this vicarious tour of the Louvre 🙂 There is so much to see in Paris that it is impossible to cover it all, no matter how much time you have or how many times you visit!

Mary, all I can say is…..wow! We’ve been to the Louvre several times, but what a treat it must have been to be able to experience it the way that you did.

Wow is definitely the word, Bob! It was surreal and quite awe-inspiring to walk among all that fabulous art with only our little group.

Not enough. Yes, not enough. You experienced the Louvre at the day time and night time. In one book I read by an Aesthetics and Psychoanalysis Professor, he recommended to have an experience of a night tour of Louvre. I’ve never had one. I wish you felt the difference.

The small stone under the Inverted Pyramid is supposed to be a part of the same size Pyramid above, buried under. There seem to be a lot of different stories about inverted pyramid. I don’t remember the Wedding at Cana. I’ve imagined a humble and modest wedding when I was reading the Bible, but this one is like an Indian wedding. Is this for glorifying? The arts and sculptures bring up my memories.

You sound you liked a small group tour. I’ve experienced at the last cruise by Viking. More intimate and focused.

I still have strong appetite for traveling. However, my wife is putting me down as I am getting slower and being burden to other people in the group. Unfortunately, it should be a right assessment. We may change the style and plan a private tour with longer stay at a place. It may cost more but we can relax.

What is your next one?

Have a good day.

Myron, thank you as always for your thoughtful insights! The Louvre at night was indeed magical, which is what I imagine that professor/author was describing. I think a small group or private tour would be a terrific solution. Staying a little longer at one place also would give you a chance to tour at your own pace. Take care and continued good recovery. I hope to see you out on the walking route soon!

And remember, there's no need to consult your guidebook or map, our guides know the Louvre as well as their own living rooms!

Sculptures of the Louvre

The Louvre is not only filled with paintings but it also features many iconic sculptures. Of all the works in the Louvre, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo are some of the most admired. The life-size sculpture of the mythological Sleeping Hermaphroditus carved by Bernini is also an amazing piece of work. These incredible ancient sculptures only represent a fraction of the Louvre's Greek and Roman antiquities you'll get to explore and learn about with your private guide.

Mona Lisa's Smile

Why is Mona Lisa’s smile so mysterious? Is she happy or sad? Leonardo da Vinci’s famous portrait of Lisa Gherardini, titled Mona Lisa , is arguably the most famous painting in the world. The masterpiece also holds a Guinness World Record-breaking insurance policy for approximately $800,000,000! Our guide can't wait to share the stories behind the acclaimed painting, and the fascination with the woman it depicts. Leonardo da Vinci was a true genius who left behind a huge legacy in both science and art.

Renaissance Masters: Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, and more

The Mona Lisa is not Leonardo’s only work of art inside the Louvre, and your tour guide will show you more of da Vinci’s works as part of the Louvre’s Italian Renaissance collection.

Besides Leonardo da Vinci, the Louvre also contains works by Renaissance artist Botticelli, master of the 16th-century Venetian school Titian, and the grand scale artist Veronese. Raphael also has work featured throughout the Louvre, one being the famous painting depicting Saint George on a magnificent horse.

Famous French Art

Although the Louvre is filled with the works of many international artists, you'll also see some truly iconic French masterpieces—after all, you are in France! The Louvre offers opportunities to visit works by Jacques-Louis David, Napoleon's personal painter, and Eugène Delacroix. Delacroix's most famous piece, Liberty Leading The People , is one of France's most beloved paintings, depicting the 1830 French Revolution. It was also the inspiration for one of the world's most famous landmarks: the Statue of Liberty in New York.

A Glimpse of Royal France

Did you know that the Louvre is a former royal palace? With such a strong association to royalty, a visit to the Louvre is incomplete without seeing the crown jewels of France. The surviving French crown jewels are on display in the Louvre’s Galerie d'Apollon.

It was a tradition to have a new crown created for each coronation in France. With your guide's narration, it is easy to imagine the extravagance of the crowns created throughout history for each new king and queen.

At The Tour Guy, we put a huge amount of energy into all our tours, including our private Louvre tour. At the conclusion of this tour, don’t forget to ask your private Louvre tour where to eat and what to do in Paris. As experts in all things Paris, we do all we can to ensure your vacation is filled with amazing French culture, world-class art, incredible food and unforgettable memories!

Louvre Museum Evening Private Tour

One can easily be overwhelmed by the most visited museum in the world. Enjoy the museum at its quietest and most intimate with a private evening tour of the Louvre .

A private evening at the louvre museum.

Most visitors get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the Louvre only to end up overcome by the immensity of a museum that displays 35,000 artworks within 9 miles of corridors. Art Journey's solution is to go beyond the same famous masterpieces everyone sees and to venture into the quiet areas of the museum to discover the hidden treasures of the Louvre . And to further go around crowds, another solution is to visit during the evening on Wednesday and Friday nights , for the late opening of the Louvre until 9 pm . With a private evening visit, in summer, the visit ends with the sunset, in winter, it starts at night... In past visitors' own words :

The evening tour of the Louvre was a highlight of our first trip to Paris. Our guide was friendly, open to our requests, and incredibly knowledgeable about the art and the art history of the works we viewed. It was fun and enlightening talking with him. We learned so much in just 4 hours! I just wanted to thank you again for a wonderful, very informative tour through The Louvre - and at night! It was just incredible to feel as if we had that beautiful, enormous place all to ourselves - thank you for the evening tour recommendation!!

Avoid Crowds While Discovering The Louvre At Night

Crowdless empty galleries of the Louvre during a night visit

Venturing within its 9 miles of corridors, an Art Journey private tour reveals the hidden treasures of the Louvre. Photo © Art Journey Paris.

There is a lot more to the Louvre than the Venus de Milo , Victory of Samothrace, and the Mona Lisa . All the famous masterpieces are displayed in one wing of the Louvre. Yet, with three wings and three floors, entire departments of the Louvre are often nearly empty, particularly during the late opening . Our private evening visit will bring you to the quieter corners of the Louvre. Visiting after-hours isn't the only way this private tour is unique. This is a genuine made-to-measure experience , where you are not restricted to a set list of famous artworks. What is on offer is the entire Louvre, all 35,000 artworks on display . You are invited to ask any artist, artwork, or department of the Louvre, any corner within 9 miles of corridors . Please ask in advance to ensure the gallery in question is visible.

I want you to know that your private night tour of the Louvre was an absolute highlight, way beyond our expectations and my wife and daughters are constantly talking about that night. As novices to the world of art, you managed to bring the history and significance of the artists showcased in the Louvre to life in the most interesting and informative way. Your guided tour was a special experience for everyone in our family, from the first-timers in our group to those who had seen the Louvre several times before. You were able to make sure that each person found it to be an intimate and memorable experience. You even kept it interesting for the kids.

An Evening Stroll To Wonder At Millennia of Art And History

Night visit of the Louvre from the glass pyramid

As we welcome requests, we strive for every visit to differ from the previous one. And what are the chances that wandering into the tranquil parts of the Louvre in the evening will be boring? A night stroll at the museum will be like traveling inside a time machine across five millennia and most of the ancient world. It will not be a recitation but a conversation so visitors of all ages will understand what they are looking at . Everyone will wonder at the hidden treasures of the Louvre. And to ensure the best experience, the solution is to take the time , why the ideal private visit lasts around 4 hours .

Thank you also for the outstanding tour of the Louvre, and for your style of engaging us in the discussions and descriptions. I felt like I had enjoyed a semester of Art History. Your incredible knowledge of the Louvre and its treasures, combined with your ability to navigate through the exhibits efficiently, made our 4-hour tour perfect. Thank you again for the incredible evening tour of the Louvre last week. All 4 of us enjoyed it immensely. You helped us to see the expected wonders in new ways, and debunked the common misconceptions! That was entertaining.

A Genuine Private Visit

Imagine exploring the largest museum in the world, and the further the visit goes on, the calmer it becomes. In the evening, as the crowds start to leave, the overwhelming turns cozy , and the noise vanishes , allowing for a serene and pleasant experience in the Louvre .

What an amazing tour we had on the Night Tour of the Louvre. We enjoyed every minute, Your knowledge of the art history and of the museum is fantastic. Thank you for the "Night Louvre Tour". I found your selection of things to see in 4 hours and your commentary, observations and philosophy to be entertaining, interesting, and of very high quality.

10 Tips For Visiting The Louvre (Paris, France)

T he Louvre, a treasure trove of art and history nestled in the heart of Paris, is a must-visit for any art enthusiast or traveler. With its vast collection spanning centuries and cultures, exploring the Louvre can be both exhilarating and overwhelming. To ensure you make the most of your visit, here are 10 essential tips to navigate this iconic museum.

1. Plan Ahead

Begin your Louvre adventure by planning ahead. The museum is colossal, and attempting to see everything in one visit can be daunting. Research the Louvre's layout, highlight the must-see artworks, and create a personalized itinerary. Prioritize your interests, be it Renaissance paintings, ancient sculptures, or Egyptian artifacts, to tailor your visit accordingly.

2. Purchase Tickets in Advance

Save valuable time by purchasing your tickets online in advance. The Louvre is immensely popular, and the lines can be exceptionally long. Opting for skip-the-line tickets allows you to breeze through the entrance and dive straight into the cultural wonders awaiting you inside.

3. Visit Off-Peak Hours

To maximize your enjoyment and minimize the crowds, consider visiting during off-peak hours. Early mornings or late afternoons on weekdays are ideal times to explore the Louvre with a bit more tranquility. You'll have a better chance to appreciate the masterpieces without the hustle and bustle.

4. Take Advantage of Guided Tours

Engage in the expertise of a guided tour to gain deeper insights into the Louvre's vast collection. Knowledgeable guides can provide historical context, fascinating anecdotes, and help you navigate the expansive museum efficiently. Some tours even offer exclusive access to certain areas, enhancing your overall experience.

5. Wear Comfortable Attire

Prepare for a day of walking and exploration by wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. The Louvre's sheer size requires a fair amount of walking, and comfortable attire will ensure you stay energized and focused on the art rather than discomfort.

6. Focus on the Highlights

With over 35,000 pieces on display, it's crucial to focus on the highlights to avoid feeling overwhelmed. The Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace are among the Louvre's star attractions. Identify your must-see artworks and plan your route accordingly.

7. Bring Snacks and Stay Hydrated

Exploring the Louvre can be a time-consuming endeavor, and hunger or dehydration can dampen your experience. Pack some snacks and a reusable water bottle to keep yourself fueled and refreshed throughout your visit. There are designated areas where you can take a break and enjoy a snack.

8. Respect Art Etiquette

While admiring the masterpieces, it's essential to observe proper art etiquette. Refrain from touching the artwork, use flash photography, or creating disturbances. Respectful behavior ensures a pleasant experience for you and fellow art enthusiasts.

9. Explore Beyond the Obvious

While the Louvre's iconic pieces are undoubtedly breathtaking, don't hesitate to explore beyond the obvious. Wander through lesser-known galleries and hidden corners to discover hidden gems and lesser-known treasures. You might stumble upon artworks that resonate with you on a personal level.

10. Reflect and Relax

After immersing yourself in the richness of the Louvre, take some time to reflect and relax. Find a peaceful spot in the museum's expansive courtyard, the Cour Carrée, or nearby Tuileries Garden. Absorb the cultural magnitude of your visit and savor the memories created within the walls of this historic institution.

Conclusion:

A visit to the Louvre in Paris is an unforgettable journey through time and art. By planning ahead, utilizing skip-the-line tickets, and embracing these tips, you can transform your Louvre experience into a seamless and enriching adventure. Navigate the labyrinth of artistic wonders with confidence, and let the Louvre's magnificence leave an indelible mark on your travel memories.

A buyer’s premium is the additional charge on the auction hammer price or winning bid, which is paid by the winner. Buyer’s premiums on Charitybuzz currently range from 15%–20%, based on the final hammer price of the auction lot as follows:

20% up to $50,000 15% above $50,000

Charitybuzz reserves the right to change these calculations at any time.

Prospective bidders should inspect the lot page for an item before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not it has been repaired or restored. If that information is not available on the site, prospective bidders assume the responsibility of contacting Charitybuzz to inquire for additional details.

Each Bidder’s decision to bid and determination of their bid amount should be based upon their own examination of the item(s) in question. In any purchase or sale, the estimated value of the item(s) is reflected by the price. The bidder hereby assumes all risks of valuation concerning any and all purchases.

We reserve the right to withdraw any lot before, during and after the sale and shall have no liability whatsoever for such a withdrawal.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with all faults without any representations or warranties by us or the Seller as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, the correctness of the e-catalogue or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, important, medium, frame, provenance, exhibitions, literature, or historical relevance. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, whether made in on Charitybuzz.com, an advertisement, a lot receipt, or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. We and the Seller make no representations and warranties, express or implied, as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights, including but not limited to, any reproduction rights in any property.

We and the Seller are not responsible for errors and omissions on Charitybuzz.com, glossary, or any supplemental material. Charitybuzz will not be responsible or liable for damage to frames and glass coverings, regardless of the cause. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

A. Entering Bids

To bid, find a lot page, enter a value in the bid box, and click “Bid.” If you click “Bid” on a lot, you will be prompted to either log in to your Charitybuzz account, or create a new one if you do not have one already.

Once you’ve created an account you will be presented with the lot details, conditions of sale, and standard shipping and redemption details. Once you have accepted the Conditions of Sale, you may proceed with placing a bid on that lot. All bids placed for any lot are governed by the Conditions of Sale for that lot.

You may bid at or above the starting bid displayed as the “Current Price” in a lot page’s bid box. The current leading bid, along with a list of a lot’s full bidding history, will be visible to other users. If the status of your bid changes, you will receive notifications via email and push (if you have the Charitybuzz App installed).

B. Cancellation Rights

As soon you place and confirm your bid amount, your bid is submitted. You accept and agree that bids submitted by you are final. Charitybuzz is not responsible or liable for any problems, delays, or other issues resulting from the use of the Internet, including but not limited to transmission, execution, or processing of Bids.

Charitybuzz nor the Seller is responsible for any errors in bidding. A bidder should make certain to bid on the correct lot. The Bidder should make sure the bid price they enter (including any taxes or fees) is the price they are willing and able to pay. Once the hammer has fallen and Charitybuzz has announced the winning Bidder, that Bidder is unconditionally bound to pay for that lot, even if the Bidder has made an error.

A bid(s) entered by mistake on the part of a bidder is NOT grounds for cancellation of that bid. Each bidder is responsible for his or her own account and bids. In addition, allowing access to another who enters a bid without your knowledge is NOT grounds for cancellation of a bid.

C. Fraudulent Bidding

All Bidders must meet Charitybuzz’s qualifications to bid. Any Bidder who is not a client in good standing of Charitybuzz may be disqualified at Charitybuzz’s sole discretion and will not be awarded lots. Such determination may be made by Charitybuzz in its sole discretion, at any time prior to, during, or even after the close of the Auction. Charitybuzz reserves the right to exclude any person from the auction.

Bids will not be accepted from minor persons under eighteen (18) years of age without a parent’s written consent containing an acknowledgement of the conditions herein and indicating their agreement to be bound thereby on behalf of the bidder.

If an entity places a bid, then the person executing the bid on behalf of the entity agrees to personally guarantee payment for any successful bid.

Any bidder that represents a purchaser is personally and individually responsible for any obligations of the purchaser set forth in these terms and conditions. All purchasers purchasing pursuant to a valid resale license will need to provide appropriate documentation for removal of state sales tax.

D. Winning & Disputes

The successful bidder is the highest bidder acknowledged by Charitybuzz. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on Charitybuzz’s part as to the validity of any bid, Charitybuzz will have final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in question. If any dispute arises after the sale, Charitybuzz’s sale record is conclusive. While Charitybuzz makes every effort to guarantee accuracy, in the event of an error, and a lot is accidentally declared sold by mistake, Charitybuzz reserves the right to cancel the sale and relist the lot in its sole discretion.

By accepting the Conditions of Sale, Bidder personally and unconditionally guarantees payment.

Title to any lot remains with the Seller, any secured party of the Seller, or assignee of Seller, as the case may be, until the lot is paid for in full by the Bidder. Charitybuzz reserves the right to require payment in full before delivering any lot to the successful bidder.

A maximum bid is a secret amount you enter, that represents the maximum amount you are willing to bid. It is higher than the current price and also higher than the next allowable minimum bid amount. If you enter a maximum bid, we’ll bid on your behalf up to that maximum bid amount in response to other bids, according to Charitybuzz’s bidding tiers.

The value and status of your maximum bid will be visible only to you, unless it is the leading bid.

Charitybuzz strongly encourages the use of Max Bids to increase your chances of winning.

When an auction reaches the final 10 minutes before it closes, any bids received in that final 10 minutes push out the previous close time by an additional 10 minutes. This recurring 10 minute extension is known as “Extended Bidding,” and is signified by a banner above the auction timer on the lot page.

This dynamically extending period is designed to protect against a practice commonly known as “sniping” or “last second bidding” where bidders attempt to enter a quick bid in the final seconds of an auction to secure a win before competing bidders have a chance to counter.

Live bids lots are a special type of auction lot on Charitybuzz. Live bid lots on Charitybuzz are paired with a real world, physical auction, where that real world auction is often scheduled to occur at a later date. You can distinguish Live Bid lots by the “Live Bid” label in the title of the lot, and additional description text at the start of the lots “Overview” tab.

In a Live Bid lot on Charitybuzz, a lot is created that is similar to any other auction lot on the site. These special lots last for similar amounts of time and bidding occurs normally by our users.

Things start to differ after a Charitybuzz Live Bid lot closes. After it closes and the winning bidder is chosen, that winning bidder’s bid amount or (if it exists) the max bid amount associated with that winning bid, are taken and entered into the associated real world auction. For example, if a bidder on Charitybuzz wins at $12,000 with an unrealized max bid of $15,000, then that $15,000 dollar amount is passed on into the real world auction.

Before the winning bidders bid or max bid amount is passed on, someone from Charitybuzz contacts that winner after the Charitybuzz lot closes and before the real world auction opens. This is to confirm if the bidder would like to increase their bid or max bid amount before it’s entered into the real world auction.

What happens during the real world auction? Each individual one may vary. Charitybuzz does not own or operate any real world auctions, nor does Charitybuzz require any partners to follow a specific auction model. We make no claims to the consistency of real world auction experiences and encourage bidders to contact us for more details as needed.

In our experience, real world auctions tied to Charitybuzz Live Bid lots are typically executed by our partners in a few common ways.

In one scenario, if an auction house and an auctioneer is present, winning live bids from Charitybuzz Live Bid lots are treated as “absentee” bids. This normally means that the Charitybuzz winning bid is placed in the auctioneers books as a bid. As the auctioneer conducts the auction, they will bring up and enter the Charitybuzz winning bid during the course of the auction as the current price or next minimum bid value approaches the Charitybuzz winner’s bid amount. In this scenario, other people in the real world room are expected to bid against the auctioneer, not the Charitybuzz winning bidder. If no one is bidding in the room, the auctioneer will typically keep bidding up the price until the Charitybuzz Live Bid winner wins the real world auction.

In other models, an audience member (including, but not limited to a charity partner employee) might act as a proxy for the winning Charitybuzz bidder. They will usually bid on behalf of the winning Charitybuzz Live Bid winner during the normal course of that auction, using whatever means provided for that auction house (i.e. paddles, etc.)

After the auction is completed, someone from Charitybuzz contacts our bidder to let them know the outcome. If that Charitybuzz Live Bid bidder has won, payment occurs as usual. If that Charitybuzz Live Bid bidder did not win, they will be notified accordingly.

A reserve bid is a bid placed by Charitybuzz on behalf of the seller up to the minimum reserve (if applicable). Bids placed by Charitybuzz on behalf of the seller up to the amount of the reserve, will be counted toward the total bid count displayed on the lot page’s bid box.

Refunds are rewarded on a case by case basis and at the sole discretion of Charitybuzz, LLC.

Experiences auctioned on Charitybuzz.com go through a specific redemption process to coordinate details and complete. That process normally involves messaging and scheduling between all parties (i.e. winners, charities, sellers, venues). Details discussed include but are not limited to experience dates, arrival procedures, airfare, hotel accommodations, restrictions, will-call requirements, and any other on-site notes. Scheduling requires an initial request sent by the customer, and a followup confirmation submitted by relevant redemption contacts.

By using Charitybuzz to bid and win lots, bidders agree to use the Redemption Center exclusively (where enabled) to message and schedule all experiences – doing so is a requirement of redeeming experiences through Charitybuzz. In addition, bidders agree that they are bound by all site terms of use and auction conditions of sale.

The minimum processing and handling charge for this item is $9.95.

Getting your item - Items will either be shipped directly from Charitybuzz or from the item seller (Third Party) as indicated. Items shipping from Charitybuzz will be sent within five business days of payment settlement by the winning bidder. All third party items will be shipped within the times indicated on the lot page. Winning bidders should ensure the desired shipping address is provided to Charitybuzz within 24 hours after payment settlement. Charitybuzz will default to the shipping address listed on the winning bidder’s account unless otherwise notified. Please see FAQs for more information.

Items that require signature - Items with a sale price of $1,000 and above are typically shipped with signature required.

Merchandise - The minimum shipping charge for merchandise is $19.95. (Shipments outside the U.S. are subject to additional shipping and customs fees.) Merchandise, unless otherwise specified, will be shipped via professional carrier with standard ground service. Oversized items may require special delivery arrangements, which Charitybuzz will coordinate between the winning bidder and the selected freight carrier. All merchandise is insured for the winning amount.

Will Call Pickups - In some cases, tickets will be left at the venue’s “Will Call” window under the winner’s name. Winning bidders may be required to submit the names of attendees up to several weeks ahead of the event. A valid photo ID for each person listed at Will Call is often required. When available, Charitybuzz will attempt to provide an onsite point of contact, but makes no guarantee that this information will be available for any given lot. Will Call tickets are typically available at the Will Call window at least an hour before the event, unless otherwise specified. The Will Call window is usually located near the venue's main entrance.

After winning - Detailed redemption information will be emailed to the winning bidder. Redemption contact information will be emailed to the winning bidder within two business days of payment settlement by the winning bidder. The redemption contact will work with the winning bidder to fulfill the lot within the appearance times, time constraints, event dates or locations, and other particulars listed in the lot details.

Does your experience require tickets? - Tickets for experiences are shipped to the winner. Please see “How Shipping Works ” above for shipping details for tickets.

Scheduling your experience - Specifics vary per lot. Most experiences found on Charitybuzz are scheduled through our new Redemption Center, allowing you one-stop access to scheduling and communication tools to redeem your experience. Get started today: Create a Redemption Center account. Scheduling for lots outside of the Redemption Center will occur via the preferred communication method of the redemption contact (email or phone), as indicated by the redemption email sent within 48 hours of payment settlement by the winning bidder.

Getting to the experience - Specifics vary per lot. Details will be included for those lots with travel segments included. Experiences with travel often involve… (i.e. prebooked flight, .) Coordinate with your redemption contact directly. If you are a VIP member with Charitybuzz, contact your rep for more information.

During the experience - Specifics vary per lot. Work with your redemption contact to define the details before departing.

After the experience - Specifics vary per lot. All done with your experience? Let us know how it went.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

There’s nothing like a mother’s Louvre.

Jennifer Lopez and her 16-year-old child Emme sweetly held hands while visiting the Louvre Museum on Thursday during a family trip to Paris.

Lopez, 54, and the teen held on to each other and had serious expressions on their faces as fans and paparazzi flocked around them.

They were surrounded by a team of security guards while walking to the museum to soak up the Parisian culture with a private tour.

At one point, the duo was spotted holding hands inside, too, and they appeared to be laughing and in high spirits when they exited.

J.Lo looked très chic in an oversize white button-up shirt and baggy dark-wash jeans layered under a black trench coat.

The pop star pulled her outfit together with casual while sneakers and a white Hermès Birkin bag.

Wearing her hair loosely pulled back in a ponytail, she also accessorized with big white and gold sunglasses and large gold hoop earrings.

Emme, meanwhile, looked cool and laid-back in a textured pink button-down tee, mid-rise barrel jeans and navy Converse sneakers.

Lopez and Emme also were spotted strolling through the Marais district of Paris and dining at the posh restaurant LouLou.

The Grammy nominee’s artful outing comes just days after she co-hosted the 2024 Met Gala in New York City.

She attended the star-studded event Monday night wearing a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown covered in rhinestones and pearls.

The sheer mermaid-style gown took 800 hours of hand embroidery work to complete.

Lopez was also dripping in more than 100 carats of diamonds by Tiffany & Co. for the fashion fundraiser.

The dress didn’t quite align with the soirée’s theme, “ Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion ,” though she still made quite an impression.
