In the morning a breathtaking car drives through the series of hill streams to enjoy an amazing hill view as far as the eye can see from the Nilgiri and Chimbuk viewpoints. About Bandarban Hill District

Bandarban Hill District is the remotest and least populated district in Bangladesh. The lure of the tallest peaks of Bangladesh, treks through virgin forests and chance to meet more than 15 tribes of the region up close is growing both among Bangladeshis and tourists from other countries.

Bandarban, a 4,479 km² wide area with a population of 292,900 (2003 est.) inside Bangladesh is bordered by Cox’s Bazaar, Chittagong, Rangamati and Khagrachari. On the other side of the 129 kilometer international border lies Myanmar provinces of Chin and Arakan .

Bandarban has only one town that approaches anything near a city – the Bandraban town. The rest of the area is divided into 7 upazilas , which are in turn divided into varying numbers of unions. Each union is a cluster of paras and villages.

Early in the morning check in the Hotel. Refresh and take rest for few minutes. Take breakfast from the hotel, after breakfast the first day planning is to visit Nilachol, Meghla and Golden temple (Buddha Dhatu Jadi). Nilachal tourist spot is maintained by district administration. It is known as tiger hill. The view of Nilachal is so spectacular for snapping and Meghla Parjatan Complex is the most amazing tourist or visited spot for the tourists coming from all over the country. Meghla is known for a mini safari park, a zoo, boat journey and hanging bridge and the Bandarban Golden Temple is the largest Buddhist Temple with the second largest Buddha statue in Bangladesh. The Buddha Dhatu Jadi temple attracts pilgrims and visitors in all over the world. After vising this places traveler should back in the hotel and take rest.

after taking breakfast from hotel the second day planning is to visit Nilgiri. Start 64 kilometer journey from Hotel to Nilgiri. Nilgiri is one of the tallest peaks and beautiful tourist spot in Bangladesh. In rainy season here creates a spectacular scenery, the whole spot is covered with the blanket of clouds. Traveler can enjoy a cloudy experience. Nilgiri is a nice place for campfire in the winter season. Nilgiri tourist spot is managed by Army brigade of Bandarban. On the way of Nilgiri traveler will visit Chimbuk Hill and Sailopropat. Within 11.00am traveler will reach at Chimbuk Pahar. Chimbuk hill is the third highest mountain in Bangladesh. When it is a shiny day, traveler can see the shades of clouds over the hills. So it will be nice experience. Spent some times at the Chimbuk Pahar the next journey will be at Shoilo Propat. After 1 hour journey traveler will reach at Sailopropat. Shoilo Propat is at Milanchari, 4 km from the town on the road to Thanchi, is also excellent site maintained by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation. Shoilo Propat is one of the most famous and visited natural fall in Bangladesh. Minimum 15 to 30 minute enjoy there. At second day traveler will visit Bandarban City and complete personal shopping. Take dinner at the hotel and finally at night coming back to Dhaka.

Tour Itinerary

• Start from Dhaka  Kamalapur Railway Station early in the morning at 7:00 am. Enjoy a good train journey (Sonar Bangla Express) through a beautiful landscape.  Around 1:00 pm, we will arrive at Chittagong and we go for lunch.
• In the afternoon, we will reach Kumira dock station to visit the largest  Shipbreaking yards . We will take a boat ride to the nearest side of the yards. As there is no permission inside, we will follow the high tide to reach closer. A telelens will help you to get better photos.
• Overnight in Chittagong.
• Early morning, we will drive towards Rangamati. Visit the Shrine of Bayezid Bostami on the way. The Bostami Turtles on the ponds are hungry to eat food from you.
• We will reach Rangamati around 10:00 am. Immediately we will start the cruise on  Kaptai Lake.  This is the largest manmade lake in Bangladesh.
• We will visit  Rajban Vihar  &  Chakma King's house  while cruising. There are many Buddhist temples on the hills inside the lake. The lake near the  Shuvolong Waterfall  is wonderful.  We will visit an island tribal village to make a short hike. We will have lunch at the lakeside tribal restaurants today.
• In the evening, Bonorupa Chakma-Marma Bazar is an interesting place to visit.
• Overnight in Rangamati.
• Today, we will start driving to  Bandarban  after visiting the iconic Rangamati Bridge and some weaving factories.
• In Bandarban, our first visit will be to the  Golden Temple  (Buddha Dhatu Jadi) before lunch.
• In the afternoon, we are ready for a short hike inside a beautiful village. Visit  Hatiabandha Tripura Village , the only place where Tripura indigenous people live in this region. This village is located down the hills. This is truly a memorable place.
• Enjoy the sunset and scenic beauty of the hills at  Nilachal.
• Overnight in Bandarban.
• Today is our big day. We will drive to the Chimbuk area to visit some unique tribal villages of the  Murong People.  These villages are truly unique and different from the modern tribes. Meet the tribal community, and know their lifestyle and weaving techniques.
• We will have a cup of coffee with a wonderful landscape view from Nilgiri.
• After, we will visit  Shailaprapat  and  Bawm Village.   After lunch and drive towards Cox’s Bazar.  Visit Sleeping Buddha Temple in Ramu  on the way. Enjoy the sunset on the beach.
• Overnight in Cox’s Bazar.
• After breakfast, take a boat ride and go to  Maheshkhali Island , one of the popular places. Visit Rakhine Buddhist Temple,  Adinath temple, and spend some time on the island. Visit a fishing port  where fishers unload the fish from the deep sea. We will visit a dry fish village which is photogenic.
• Spend a free afternoon on the beach. Overnight in Cox’s Bazar.
• After breakfast, we will enjoy the marine drive to  Himchari & Inani Sea beach .  Himachal  is the place to enjoy the hilly beauties and the waves of the vast sea. Relax with the sound of waves and feel your inside.
• Spend quality time on  Inani Sea beach,  which longs for 18 km. It has a lot of coral stones that look black and green. The blue water and the lines of stones are the main sources of attraction for tourists. The clean blue & shark-free water is ideal for bathing and swimming with no fear.
• After lunch, we will drive to Cox’s Bazar airport.
• Fly to Dhaka and finish the trip with wonderful memories.

What about the permission of Chittagong Hill Tracts?

You must get permission to visit Chittagong Hill Tracts and it’s included in our package. Separate permission is required for Rangamati and Bandarban. We are an authorized company and you must not worry about that.

What kind of meals are included? Is customization possible?

Our Package includes complimentary breakfast at the hotels and lunch-dinner at good-quality restaurants. Bengali local food is spicy. Plain rice, vegetables, fish & meat are available in restaurants. Biriyani & Khichuri made of Rice, lentils, meat, and special spices are the famous food of old Dhaka also available in other cities. Non-spicy food is possible to order at most of the restaurants if you like. In Sundarbans, we have a special chef to make your food. We offer food for vegetarians. But there are limitations of items at some restaurants in remote areas.

Itinerary of 3 Days 2 Nights Bandarban Tour

1st Day- (Chittagong-Bandarban)

• In the morning, tour guide or operator will pick up you by reserved car in Chittagong town.
• A journey of about 2.30 hours by car. After reaching in Bandarban town, check in hotel.
• Visit, to golden pagoda, Ramjadi Nogrojadi temple and walk in the Marma tribal market). We will drive to Nilachol, a tourist spot where you can see the hilly view from top. You will also visit Chakma tribal village, Tripura tribal village and Buddha Jadi statue. Meghla is an artificial park where there you can take boat journey and walk around. A hanging bridge is over the lake.
• Overnight at hotel / resort in Bandarban.

2nd Day-(Whole Day Tour in Bandarban)

• In the morning, we will start to visit. If you want to see the busiest tribal market, you have to go to Marma tribal market on Sunday & Wednesday – very busy in the morning. They sell their tribal vegetable, fruit, meat etc. You can spend here for approximately 1 hour.
• Within half an hour by transport we will reach the boat station to get in boat for boating.
• Walk to tribal village to see their life culture and talk with them to know their life, walking to Marma and Tripura villages. We spend couple of hours in these villages.
• We will drive for long hilly journey to visit Nighiri. On the way we will stop at double hand to see view and continue to Taitanic view point to see village. Nilgiri is the peak to see green hill view. This is a scenic view fascinates anyone.
• On the way back, we will visit some tribal villages.
• After visiting, we start back to hotel or resort.  Overnight at hotel / resort in Bandarban.

3rd Day- (Bandarban visit – Chittagong)

• In the morning, after breakfast we will visit to tribal villages- Tripura tribal village visit ( Hati Vanga)- Bawm tribal village visit ( Faruk Para).
• After lunch, get in bus toward Chittagong. It may take 2 and half an hour to reach in Chittagong.
• We will drop off you at your place in Chittagong. Tour ends.
