I never stopped till yesterday; I had no clue there was a bar here!!! Awesome little pull off on your way to, or from AR; would also be a nice spot to stay a night or two. Nice little pool on the side of the building along with a tiny hut style bar. Down a flight of stairs is a narrow cozy bar. A little scary because it looks and feels like it's on a slant; kinda cool. There's also a back room with a little stage for maybe a two piece band. Gotta also check out the bird who hangs in the bar; just don't try to pet him!! They also had food, but I didn't try anything. My only concern is the ice machine is where the restroom is. The restroom is in one of the old hotel rooms in the back of the building. You walk into the room, the ice machine is on the right, and the bathroom is past it through a door. Now what exactly is stopping some A%##OLE from tainting the ice? There's no locks on the machine, so anyone can access it. I would definitely avoid any iced drinks until the machine was secured or moved!!
What a fun hang!!! Love the staff and the tiki bar is amazing!! Great drinks (great pours) and the view is beautiful. The owners are so sweet and Chip runs around with a parrot named Louie who love to visit with the guests!! They have a full bar and frozen cocktails as well! From 8am- 12 pm they serve breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. The rest of the menu is served all day. Bar open from 11 am - 10pm during the week and open until 1:30 on the weekends (summer hours). Karaoke Thursday nights and live music saturdays.

The last time we visited Table Rock Lake we spent quite a bit of time here, so this time we booked a room. Chip, Evie, and Captain Louie are outstanding hosts, and we were lucky enough to be there for Evie's monthly Harvey Wallbanger birthday cake. Amy the bartender/cook was one of the most friendly and helpful people we've come across. The room had an absolutely lovely vintage kitchenette and a breathtaking view of the sunsetting over Table Rock Lake. Burgers and Hog Legs are among the outstanding menu items, along with Hoagies made with cheesesteak made from real roast beef rather than chopped up food-purveyor stuff. People gather around the pool for fellowship and fun. The Throttle Down does accommodate smokers which didn't bother us, and the people we met and spoke to were fabulous. Good luck to Deztany, the new bartender, and a thank-you to Alex who writes The Paper Rag.
Nice rooms and great place for bikers. The owners are very helpful and friendly. It's right off the lake so there are excellent views.
Outside our room.
Awesome view of lake
Awesome place, clean, fun! People here make sure your stay is great, would stay again!
I'd have to say it's an awesome place to stay ... the owners, all the staff and the locals that come in are all friendly ... everybody at this place treats you like you're family ... we were referred by a friend so we went down over Memorial Day weekend, which just happens to be our Anniversary weekend and one of the owners (she sings with the band) dedicated a song to us. The rooms are clean and comfortable ... we stayed in what they referred to as the "Small Room" ... we thought it was great... They cater to the Biker community ... if you get caught in the rain and you're bike gets dirty (happened to us...lol) you can wash your bike at the hotel. You're a nice (40 miles +/-) to Eureka Springs, AR and even closer to Branson, MO ... some beautiful country to ride in...and when you get back to the hotel, if you haven't eaten ... they have good eats in the bar, you can kick back and enjoy conversation or just go sit on your deck or on the porch and take in the view of the lake... We're going to go back ... again and again ... a great place for riding, making new friends and reconnecting or connecting with old ones ... A moderately priced hotel with a million dollar view, good eats, drinks and good folks to spend your time with (when you're not out riding of course)...
A great fun dive bar. T-shirts and writing line the walls. There was a parrot in there and it was his birthday. The band was fun and took requests. It's a true biker bar. Great beer selection, which are all $3.50! The bartender actually knows the tasting profiles associated with each beer. We wrote on the walls and sang songs all night. A lot of bikers, some people could be customers of Walter white, these shots that she recommended be really expensive. Lotta fun and overall good time. Great place to go if you're looking to party

Why has coronavirus not closed the Moscow Metro… yet?
The Moscow Metro won’t be closing down because of the coronavirus outbreak, the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, has promised. “The Metro is technologically designed in such a way that trains should run all the time, circulating air, to ensure that all the networks are in good working order,” he said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel. He was answering questions about the measures the city is taking against the coronavirus. If the metro were stopped now, it would take six months to bring it back to full operation later. “Therefore under all circumstances the metro will continue to run.”
What would happen if the metro was shut down?
The Moscow Metro could still technically be closed to passengers, according to Russian experts: Quarantine measures of this kind were introduced in Wuhan, one of China's largest cities, as well as in Kiev, Ukraine.
Moscow does close down some sections of the Metro for repairs from time to time.
But it is not a question of merely turning off the lights and letting employees go home: metro staff need to continue to monitor ventilation systems and the condition of the tracks.
But there is the question of what would happen to the city, if the Moscow Metro were even partially closed down, and to what extent other measures would be able to compensate for the closure, according to Pavel Zyuzin, senior research fellow at the Center for Research of Urban Transport Problems, GeoPractice Managing Partner.
“Overground transport must be ready, and, above all, the procedure for online deliveries of food, medicines and other essential goods must be simplified as far as possible, because they will be most affected. And, of course, this would entail a massive increase of road users in the city,” Pavel says. He recalls that Moscow has experienced interruptions in the movement of trains before.
The one that had the biggest impact was the accident on May 25, 2005, which allegedly happened, due to a power grid overload in the city. As a result of the massive temporary blackout, the movement of trains came to a halt at 52 of the 170 Metro stations at 11 o’clock in the morning. Thousands of passengers had to be evacuated from trains stuck in tunnels, and there was no light anywhere. The operation of the Moscow Metro was only fully restored by nine o’clock in the evening.
Have there been occasions when the Metro wasn’t running at all?
In actual fact, since its opening in 1935, the Moscow Metro has carried passengers every day. It still remains the most popular form of public transport in the city (in 2019, it was used by over 9.5 million people a day!). It is hard to believe that in all this time there has been just one day when the Metro didn’t open its doors in the morning.
It happened on October 16, 1941. During the Great Patriotic War, the metro continued to carry passengers, despite enemy bombing. Trains ran until ten o’clock in the evening, after which people were accommodated at stations to hide from night air raids on the Soviet capital. Moscow experienced the worst bombing in October and November 1941. And the Soviet leadership even took the decision to destroy the Metro in the event of capture, in order to keep infrastructure facilities out of the hands of the enemy.
Mayakovskaya metro station, 1941.
On the night of October 15-16, workers started dismantling the escalators and cutting electric cables, but in the morning the decision was revoked. In a matter of hours, everything was brought back to normal and at 6:45 PM, the operation of metro trains resumed. And soon after, the construction of new stations and tunnels resumed as well ( read more here ).

Russia and Ukraine sent drones targeting each other’s capital cities over the weekend in signs of renewed intensity for their aerial warfare .
Drones were shot down on both Saturday and Sunday in areas around Kyiv and Moscow . Air defence systems for both sides intercepted attacks and no casualties were reported.
Multiple drones that were heading for Moscow and Russia’s border areas on Sunday were downed by Russian air defence systems over the weekend, officials said.
Kyiv has promised to wage a major drone campaign against Russia this winter , as bad weather conditions make it difficult to conduct operations on the ground.
Russian air defence units in Moscow intercepted a drone targeting the Russian capital, mayor Sergei Sobhyanin said on Telegram.
He said defence units in the Elektrostal district in the capital’s east intercepted the drone. Falling debris resulting from the operation had caused no damage or casualties, the mayor said, citing preliminary information.
Russia’s defence ministry confirmed the drone strike on Sunday night, as is typical describing the Ukrainian military operation as a “terrorist attack”.
“On 19 November at 23.20 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] on targets in Moscow and the Moscow region was stopped,” it said on its official Telegram channel.
“Duty air defence systems intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Moscow region.”
A second drone targeting Moscow was also intercepted by Russia’s air defence systems at around 1am.
The UAV was destroyed over the territory of the Bogorodsky district in Moscow, it said.
This comes after Russian authorities on Saturday said they shot down a Ukrainian drone heading for the border region of Bryansk.
The defence ministry said on-duty air defence systems destroyed the drone over Bryansk. It did not mention any casualties or damage from the attack.
Russia has also begun targeting Kyiv again after a 52-day break in air raid sirens for the Ukrainian capital.
On Saturday, Ukrainian officials said all drones heading towards Kyiv were destroyed but some hit infrastructure facilities elsewhere in Ukraine.
A day later, a wave of Iranian-made Shahed drones from Russia targeted Kyiv overnight.
The drones targeted the Ukrainian capital and the Cherkasy and Poltava regions, according to a military statement. Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems shot down 15 of 20 drones targeting the areas.
Serhii Popko, the city’s military administration spokesperson, said the drones attacked Kyiv from different directions in waves that were “constantly changing vectors”.
Ukrainian officials had warned Russia would step up aerial assaults during the winter months.
Meanwhile, the British defence ministry said there were “few immediate prospects” for major change along the Ukrainian frontline as the war enters its second winter.
In a statement, it said intense fighting was concentrated near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, Avdiivka in Dontesk and on the left bank of the Dnipro river, where Ukrainian forces have established a bridgehead.
