Log into your Ticketmaster account and update your password if needed!

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Ticketmaster will regularly ask you to update your password to ensure the security of your account – you don’t want to get stuck having to change your password while the ticket timer is counting down during onsale as you can risk losing the incredible tickets you have secured.

Instead, now that you know you want to purchase tickets, log into your account and update your password today to ensure you are ready to nab those tickets.

Get to know Ticketmaster’s Smart Queue

If you aren’t familiar with  Smart Queue , it is Ticketmaster’s way of creating a clear and fair process for thousands of fans to buy tickets in a short space of time. Fans enter the virtual  Waiting Room  prior to onsale time before joining the  Smart Queue  – which acts as a ‘virtual line’, helping us protect you and your tickets in a more effective way.

The time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your place in the Smart Queue, so we recommend joining at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.

When the sale begins, the Smart Queue will open and everyone in the Waiting Room is given a place in line. Those who did not join the Waiting Room will be placed at the end of the line.

  • Sign in to your Ticketmaster account at least 10 minutes before joining the Waiting Room. This will speed up your purchase later.
  • Confirm you have a valid form of payment in your account with current email and billing information. This will make checkout a breeze.
  • Resist the urge to refresh. Your page will automatically refresh when you enter the Smart Queue.
  • Keep an eye on the time! When it’s your turn, your spot will be held for 10 minutes to begin shopping.
  • Just like before, tickets are always based on availability, demand, and are not guaranteed.

Find out more about Ticketmaster’s Waiting Room and Smart Queue here

Get to know Mobile Tickets!

All tickets purchased to Jack Johnson’s 2022 Australian tour via Ticketmaster are digital, meaning you can easily access your tickets on your phone via the Ticketmaster app or the web browser on your mobile phone, add them straight to your phone’s ticket wallet, and share them with your friends and family.

No PDFs, no printing, and no paper mean that you’ve always got your ticket with you.

Download the Ticketmaster App, and find more information about Mobile Tickets, here.

Top tip:  To make entry on event day as quick as possible, we recommend adding your tickets to your phone’s wallet before arriving at the venue!

How do I purchase Accessible Seating tickets?

Fans who require accessible tickets can purchase these through the General Public ticketing page. Please select the number of wheelchair, accessible, and/or companion card tickets you would like to purchase.

If you need to talk to a Customer Service Representative, please call  1300 446 925. Please note, this phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and can not process any other ticketing requests.

Make sure you have a My Ticketmaster account

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

Jack Johnson will take his new album Meet The Moonlight  around Australia throughout November and December 2022. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Featuring the first single ‘One Step Ahead’, the second single ‘Don’t Look Now’, the album’s centerpiece and title track ‘Meet The Moonlight’, this latest album marks a major artistic milestone for Johnson, whose decades-spanning career has included countless sold-out tours, over 25 million albums sold worldwide and multiple industry awards, including three Brit Awards and two Grammy nominations.

Once again hitting the stage with his long-time bandmates, Merlo, Adam and Zach, fans can expect to hear plenty of classic Jack including ‘Better Together’, ‘Flake’, ‘Inaudible Melodies’, ‘Taylor’, ‘Sitting, Waiting, Wishing’ and and some soon to be favourites from the new album.

Greening and the environment remain at the forefront of Johnson’s touring with extensive sustainability programs at every show. The Jack Johnson ‘Meet The Moonlight’ Tour will expand green touring practices and continue to promote sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives. Johnson’s tour staff is working closely with promoters and venues in support of the BYOBottle campaign to create innovative plastic free campaigns which eliminate disposable plastic, provide water refill stations, and promote reusables. A ‘Farm to Stage’ program encourages venues to source local, organic food to support farmers in their region. Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson: “I’ve Always Made What Feels Natural to Me”

By August Billy

Jack Johnson’s eighth album,  Meet the Moonlight , has earned the Hawaiian singer-songwriter some of the most complimentary reviews of his two-decade career. Johnson, who’s now 47 years old and a father of three, created the album with producer Blake Mills, whose previous credits include two ecstatic albums with Perfume Genius, Alabama Shakes’ Grammy-winning  Sound & Color , and Brittany Howard’s post-Shakes solo debut,  Jaime .

Since his debut album, 2000’s  Brushfire Fairytales, Johnson has held down a reputation as an easygoing and slyly philosophical songwriter. Johnson’s best-known songs, such as ‘Better Together’ and ‘Flake’, revolve around acoustic guitar and his demure lead vocals.  Meet the Moonlight  is unlikely to upend this reputation, but the album is distinguished by its deft sonic richness and thematic poignancy.

Ahead of an Australian tour this November and December – which includes dates in Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne – Music Feeds spoke to Johnson about working with Mills and sticking to his guns.

Jack Johnson – ‘Meet the Moonlight’

Music Feeds: Blake Mills has produced for Jim James, Alabama Shakes, Perfume Genius. What led you to want to work with him for Meet the Moonlight ?

Jack Johnson: I was reluctant at first because I didn’t know him. But my manager was like, “I want you guys to get on the phone, just talk, see if you like each other.” And sure enough, we talked for an hour, and it was about music, but about a bunch of other stuff – I liked his sense of humour, which is kind of the main thing to me.

He was up for just hanging for a week and playing music and that’s what we did.

MF: He ended playing a lot on the album. What did his playing bring to the songs?

JJ: He has a really interesting way of playing guitar, which is like, when he wants to, he can be as ear-catching as he wants – he can do anything he wants on the guitar, he’s so amazing – but he has a very supportive way of playing, too.

He’d always do these things that would make the part a little more lively. Sometimes it just sounds like one acoustic guitar, but there’d always be one little thing to make it feel like two friends sitting down and playing.

That was really different for me on this album – instead of just starting with a single guitar and building from there, even the first track had a little live element to it.

Jack Johnson – ‘One Step Ahead’

MF: Some of the albums Blake Mills has produced have a bit of baroque extravagance. But it sounds like he met you on your turf for  Meet the Moonlight .

JJ: He’s really good at seeing what your strengths are. I had so much respect for his guitar playing and his production and whatnot. The nice thing is, he would always make me feel really good about the songs I was bringing, and the lyrics, and he would just get so into it that it would make me feel like getting really into it.

He would show up every day and he was never distracted – he was always just fully invested in making music every day. It’s nice, when you’re bringing something as intimate as one of your songs, to have somebody that you feel like is really listening.

MF: Meet the Moonlight  is your eighth album. You’ve never done anything unflattering in an attempt to stay relevant. What keeps you focused on doing things your way?

JJ:  The music I play is very traditional. I know sometimes you can catch little influences of different genres, but in general I’m playing more or less folk music. There’s some bands where I’d be let down if they came out with another album that didn’t stretch the boundaries. Radiohead’s a really easy example – I love Radiohead and I love that every album sounds like a different palette.

There’s other musicians where, I listen back to Mississippi John Hurt and it’s like, I don’t mind that it’s just him and his guitar all the time. And then, there’s some stuff where too much change… it feels like somebody’s trying to stay relevant or doing the changes because they think that might make them feel more relevant.

I’ve never wanted to do that – I’ve always tried to make what feels very natural to me. It’s not out of a safety thing. I’ve never had a desire to make something and then told myself, “Oh, I can’t make that, it’s too weird for me.” Even though I like listening to a lot of stuff, I’ve always made what feels like the natural thing for me to make and what I want to make.

World Snooker Championship 2024 LIVE RESULTS: Jak Jones LEADING Stuart Bingham, Kyren Wilson closing in on final

  • Cosmo Teare
  • Updated : 12:09, 4 May 2024

THE World Snooker Championship semi-finals are back on TODAY in what will be another thriller at The Crucible!

Stuart Bingham is a favourite to lift the crown after dumping Ronnie O'Sullivan out the tournament, but the Englishman is currently locked in a tense battle with Jak Jones as the pair are tied at 8-8.

While the other last-4 tie - Kyren Wilson vs David Gilbert was also incredibly close until Wilson opened up the gap to 14-10 to put one foot in the final.

Full schedule for today

Here's today's full schedule at the Crucible.

Jak Jones is on course to make the final with a two frame lead.

It's a remarkable record for the qualifier who is looking to go all the way.

Stuart Bingham 9-11 Jak Jones

Kyren wilson 14-10 david gilbert.

Jones wins this mini-session 3-1 before the interval.

Momentum seems to be with him now as the qualifier looks to make a dream final.

While Ken Doherty said Jones looked "nervous" early on, he now says those nerves look to be purely with Bingham.

Stuart Bingham 9-10 Jak Jones

The commentators have referenced both players "feeling the heat" in the Crucible right now with both making errors on the 20th frame.

But a great shot from Jones has left him favourite to take this one.

He could enter the interval two frames up.

That was a thrilling frame that swung back and forth but Jones ultimately takes it!

The qualifier is in the lead for the first time this session.

Could we be witnessing a fairy tale at the Crucible this year?

Stuart Bingham 9-9 Jak Jones

After a costly mistake let Bingham back to the table, it looked as though the veteran may have raced into a two frame lead.

But when given the chance, Jones managed to take the frame and make sure this match doesn't race away from him.

Stuart Bingham 9-8 Jak Jones

Back at the table this morning, Bingham takes the first frame of the second session.

Ken Doherty has said that Jones looks "nervous" out on the table today.

Time will tell whether the qualifier can do it today.

Bingham vs Jones back ON

We're back underway at The Crucible as Stuart Bingham and Jak Jones continue their incredibly close clash which stands at 8-8.

Can the qualifier Jak Jones do it?

Or will Stuart Bingham prevail on the ninth anniversary of his 2015 World Championship triumph?

Field of dreams for semi-finalists

One of the four players looking to book their place in the final, will see their world change if they get to lift the famous trophy.

While talk is ongoing about the venue of this tournament in years to come, snooker purists know there can only be one....The Crucible.

It was has witnessed some unforgettable snooker of the years and we hope to see more of it this weekend.

Today's schedule

Here is how we are shaping up for The Crucible today.

And we reconvene with the incredibly tight clash between Stuart Bingham and Jak Jones.

Gilbert needing comeback to remember

David Gilbert needs to do the unthinkable today and send the favourite for the World Snooker Championship packing.

Kyren Wilson leads by four frames, only needing three more to book his place in the final.

Should Gilbert steal the match and end up in Sunday's final, it will be a performance to remember.

No closer to knowing finalists

Although you would lean towards Kyren Wilson seeing the match out against David Gilbert, The Crucible is the place for upsets.

With Stuart Bingham and Jak Jones locked in a stalemate, we are no closer to knowing who is going to grace this year's final.

It shows the levels the players are at that everything is still so finely poised.

One thing you can guarantee, The Crucible will be packed for every day's play as snooker's elite tournament decides a winner.

Order of play for Crucible action

Here is how the action is scheduled for today:

Nothing to separate early starters

Stuart Bingham and Jak Jones ended their session tied at 8-8.

There is still a long way to go in this best of 33 frames match.

It is impossible to pick a winner as we have seen so far, the game swinging from one player to the other.

They both will have watched the evening session between Wilson and Gilbert and will be more than aware how quickly their luck can change.

Gilbert blows away demons with century

David Gilbert seemed to be a in a dark place for most of the second half of the evening session.

Nothing was going his way and his potting ability had left him.

Winning the last frame will have been a huge boost to Gilbert, especially in the manner he did it with a century break.

All the crowd were behind him and cheered every single pot.

He will regroup now overnight and feel if he brings his game he is more than capable of staging a comeback.

Jones looking to make Morgan proud

In a weird twist of his childhood, Jak Jones was never really into snooker.

It was a holiday in Greece where former Crucible semi-finalist Darren Morgan saw him playing pool.

He got him on the snooker table and Welshman has never looked back since.

Jones would love nothing more than to book his place in this weekend's final to show Morgan's talent spotting eye is spot on.

jack johnson tour brisbane

A fantastic break of 101 wins the frame for David Gilbert.

Psychologically that will be a huge positive going into the next session.

The crowd roared as the black went in, a brilliant clearance from a player who was really struggling to find some form in the match.

Kyren Wilson 14-9 David Gilbert

Gilbert pots a sensational long red to give himself hope.

He is currently on a break of 38 and leads in the frame 68-1.

If he can seal this frame it will leave him only four frames behind going into the next session.

jack johnson tour brisbane

Gilbert manages a break of 30 but tries a plant into the middle that does not come off.

He was deperately unlucky going into the pack that the cue ball did not leave him an available red.

The frame is finely poised now with Gilbert leading 30-1 but both players trying to play safety shots to not allow their opponent the chance to put a break together.

A break of 30 sees Wilson take the frame 69-23.

Things are just not going well for Gilbert and he really needs to win the final frame of the session to stay in this match for tomorrow.

This next frame could be so pivotal in the outcome of this match.

Kyren Wilson 13-9 David Gilbert

A break of 39 for Wilson but the cannon into the pack didn't work for him.

He leads the frame 39-23 but Gilbert goes for a long pot and is a country mile away from the pocket.

The way he is playing at the moment, David Gilbert must just want to get back to the hotel and regroup right now.

Gilbert amasses a break of 23, potting a fantastic long red into the yellow pocket.

As the crowd erupts as it goes in, he goes for the green next and overcuts it and hangs his head in disbelief.

Kyren Wilson has a chance to take advantage of his opponent's poor form in this session now.

With all the colours remaining, Wilson misses a cut on the black after potting the last red and returns to his seat.

Gilbert looks at the board and concedes the frame.

He heads off for a toilet break and no doubt to try and clear his head as he falls four frames behind.

The craziest thing is, he only needed two snookers in the last frame to be able to win it.

Kyren Wilson 12-9 David Gilbert

After being gifted another chance to get into this frame, Gilbert plays a poor attempt at potting the brown with the rest.

The ball rattles and cue ball comes down the table and gives Wilson the chance to put this frame to bed.

He leads this frame 40-14 with just one red left on the table, which is tight to the bottom cushion.

jack johnson tour brisbane

Both players are feeling the pressure right now.

Gilbert misses a pot and leaves Wilson with what seems a simple red into the yellow pocket.

He rattles it and leaves Gilbert with a chance to address his demons.

Wilson leads the frame 39-5 currently.

Unbelievably Gilbert misses a simple cut of the blue into the middle pocket, things have gone pear-shaped for him in this session.

After missing a pot, for the first time, David Gilbert's head drops.

He presents another chance to Wilson to put together a frame-winning break.

Wilson leads 19-4 at the moment but the reds are spread and the colours are all in positions that present no problem to him.
