First time seeing her live...the lady is a phenomenal performer! She is and always be “American Idol’s, First Lady”!

She served a full plate of entertainment... I feel she could have omitted the moment with the wine, in light of the audience of impressionable young children who were among the fans.

Kelly Clarkson is totally, absolutely, without question, a true TALENT. She has the vocal range to sing anything, and sing it wonderfully. I saw Kelly for the Meaning of Life tour because I really liked the album, but the real gems of the show apart from her bubbly personality and amazing voice is all the hit songs.

Kelly sang all her classics and they sound fantastic, it was really great. Plus she did a cover of idontwantobeyouanymore and it was really wonderful.

Kelly was really great, and I would see her again. Of all the pop-stars I've seen, Kelly completely blew me away with her voice, just so freaking great.

the show opened at 7 pm and she never hit the stage until 9-9:15...she was on till 11:00 but just tool long to sit for a night... why does everyone need a warm up for them.

The ticket is for kelly Clarkson not 2 hrs of unknowns...and Kelly needs a stylist for her outfits on stage - she is too beautiful to dress like she does on stage ...and the one girl in shorts

was dresssed so inappropriately for a stage act.

Where's the glitz and glamour. She looked like she was taking an afternoon walk in the park.

Kelly Clarkson is playing Vegas this summer. Here's how to get tickets

Kelly Clarkson is about to take over Sin City.

The pop superstar has announced she will headline a series of shows in Las Vegas this summer entitled "Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson."

“I’m going to be playing an exclusive Las Vegas engagement this July 28 through August 19 at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood,” Clarkson said on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on March 27 as the audience wildly cheered.

“I am only doing 10 shows. I could only commit to 10 shows. That’s why it’s exclusive. There’s only 10 shows. I ain’t adding more. I’m telling you right now. Mama needs a little bit minute of a break.”

Clarkson typically ends episodes of her show by surprising someone in her audience with $1,000. A few weeks ago, one woman, named Lily, won the cash and said she’d hoped she’d be able to use the money to buy concert tickets to see Clarkson. At the time, the singer hinted Lily might have a chance to do so in the near future.

Sure enough, Clarkson beamed Lily in at the close of the episode to let her know she'd be getting two free tickets to one of the shows, along with a two-night stay at Planet Hollywood and round-trip airfare.

Tickets for the engagement go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster .

Clarkson’s announcement comes on the heels of her other big news. On March 25, she revealed in a video posted to Twitter that she was releasing a new album called “Chemistry," which she had been working on for "close to three years" in the wake of her divorce from Brandon Blackstock in 2020.

“I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing because I didn’t want everybody to think I was just coming out with some just like, ‘I’m angry. I’m sad,’” she said. 

“This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship,” she continued. “And a whole relationship shouldn’t be just brought down to one thing. So there’s the good, the bad and the ugly kind of thing going on in it.”

She didn’t give a release date for the album — which will be her 10th studio release — although she said music from it will be coming “soon,” while music from it will be coming “even sooner.” 

This will mark Clarkson’s first collection of new music since 2021’s “When Christmas Comes Around...” and her first non-holiday release since “Meaning of Life.”

Clarkson had previously discussed the new album , hinting that it was on horizon.

“I had some time, finally. I’ve never had a summer off since I was, like, 16, and I was like, ‘I need it off,’” she told Variety in September 2022. “I think that created the space for me to really have time to go, ‘What am I comfortable with? What do I want to release?’ So I’m working on my album this week. It’s coming out next year.”

The “American Idol” season one winner just announced her ten-concert ‘Chemistry’ Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater from July 28 through Aug. 19.

“‘ll be singing all of your favorites, and yes, I’ll be singing some new ones, too!” Clarkson shared on Instagram .

So, of course, fans of the TV host rejoiced this week when she announced two new concert dates in just a few months. “Just announced!” Clarkson wrote on Instagram . “I’m coming to Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City for 2 nights on May 10 & 11. Tickets on sale now!”

What Can Fans Expect From the Show?

Prior to the announcement, Clarkson’s latest (albeit brief) tour happened in Las Vegas last year titled “chemistry…an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson.” The 10-show residency, which was named after her newest album, Chemistry , included a mix of her classic hits and her newer songs.

Among the classics sung were “Because Of You,” “Since U Been Gone” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” People reports. And, in addition to singing her own songs, Clarkson also continued her Kellyoke segment live on stage with some covers, including “As It Was” by Harry Styles.

“We’re trying to make it special for everybody,” she said in an Instagram video at the time, per People . “We’re hitting all the new songs from the album in there somewhere. We’re hitting the ones you want to hear, and if we’re not, then you’re just being demanding because we’re singing a lot of songs.”

Clarkson’s new shows, taking place on May 10 and May 11, will definitely be just as special.

James Arthur got the perfect voice to join him on “From the Jump.”

On Friday, the British singer-songwriter released a new version of the Bitter Sweet Love track, but this time featuring none other than Kelly Clarkson for a soulful, tear-jerking duet.

“When I heard Kelly’s vocals on this, my mind was blown. What a great honor to have someone of her caliber feature on one of my favorite songs from this body of work,” Arthur said in a press release.

Clarkson, for her part, commended Artuhr’s vocals, saying she “was stoked” when he sent her the song, which she described as having a “singer/songwriter vibe with pop elements of catchiness that I really dig.”

In the wake of the Roe decision, 21 states have enacted laws to either ban or severely restrict abortion earlier in a pregnancy than the standard set by the law that codified abortion protection in 1973.

Clinton noted that the Arizona law — which was codified before Arizona was even a state — has no exceptions for rape or incest and serves as a potential danger to women. “And the danger to women’s lives as well as to our right to make our own decisions about our bodies and ourselves is so profound,” said Clinton. “And there’s another element to it, which I find so troubling. I mean, there’s a kind of cruelty to it. No exceptions for rape, incest, really?”

“It was my decision and I’m so glad I did it, I love my babies, but to make someone …” Clarkson added. “And you don’t realize how hard it is. The fact that you would take that away from someone, that can literally kill them. The fact that if they’re raped by their family member and they have to — it’s just like insane to me.”

Speaking to the former 2016 presidential candidate, Clarkson then encouraged her viewers to get involved in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, saying it’s sometimes uncomfortable to keep hammering away at the importance of voting, but fearing that things could dramatically escalate over subjects we should be able to agree on.

“It’s hard to preach at someone that you have to care about something but at the same time, I feel like we’re going to end up in some kind of — not to sound dramatic but — some kind of civil war over things that I feel like we shouldn’t be divided on,” Clarkson said. Clinton agreed and said “all you can do” is try to inform people and let them know that, for instance, the Arizona legislature had a vote to try and repeal the 1864 law.

“So that there could be a much more sensible approach. It lost. It matters who is representing you,” Clinton counseled, urging viewers that voting is “your superpower — and it may not seem like it but it really is.”

The conversation had some lighter moments as well, including Clinton talking about her early days dating husband former President Bill Clinton and why Clarkson would never, ever write a memoir.

On April 15, Clarkson brought on Hillary Clinton as a guest to discuss women's reproductive rights, and their reaction to the Arizona Supreme Court's reinstated near-total abortion ban . During their insightful conversation, Clarkson got emotional when recalling complications she underwent with both of her pregnancies.

“I have been pregnant twice, hospitalized both times,” she explained to Clinton. ”I mean, literally, I asked God, this is a real thing, 'To just take me and my son,' in the hospital the second time because I was like, it's the worst thing. I didn’t know I’d get emotional, sorry."

Clinton reassured Clarkson that she was helping people by telling her story. 

“It’s OK, because you're speaking for so many. You’re speaking for literally millions of women in our country and around the world.”

While Clarkson noted it was her decision to have both of her children and she does not regret her choice, she is highly sympathetic towards women who have had similar, scary experiences during their pregnancies. "It was just the worst… To make someone go through that," she said through tears.

Clarkson now has two beautiful children, 9-year-old River and 8-year-old Remy . In a 2020 interview with  Us Weekly , the singer opened up about how becoming a mother has affected her life. 

“I think parenting changes you in the best of ways,” she told the outlet. “It’s made me stronger, but it’s definitely hard. It’s the hardest job out of all the jobs. … I think it makes you selfless. It makes you really prioritize.”

She also talked about her parenting style in a 2024 interview with People . “[I] can be hard on myself, but I think I do a pretty good job. I’m definitely not a helicopter mom,” she said. “I like that they’re independent, but I’m adamant about my schedule, making sure I’m there as much as I can be. There’s no perfect parent; I’m definitely screwing up my children somehow! But I’m doing my best.”

In August 2023, during her  Chemistry  Las Vegas residency , Clarkson brought both River and Remy onstage to sing a dance with her in the most adorable moments. The next day, she took to Instagram to share a sweet behind the scenes snapshot of her beaming with the kids.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station  was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.
