Kevin Gates announces Khaza release date, shares tour

Listen to the rapper’s new single “bad for me.”.

Kevin Gates scored an unlikely hit this year in "Thinking With My Dick," a Juicy J-featuring single from 2013 that went viral on TikTok this year and rocketed to No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 (it's not even the first time Gates has gone viral on TikTok – "Big Gangsta" and "Me Too" have both inspired trends on the platform.) With newfound momentum behind him, Gates has announced the release date of his upcoming third studio album Khaza : June 17.

Below you can listen to its new single "Bad For Me," a song which revisits the narrative of an affair with a drug supplier's daughter, something he's explored on songs like "Plug Daughter" and "Plug Daughter 2." The song joins the previously released Khaza single " Big Lyfe ," and you can hear it below.

He was 2 hours late for his own show. Which we heard was normal for him... We almost left... Was pretty hype once he got there though. I would like to see him in concert again just hoping he'll actually be closer to being on time. All the standing around and waiting with an empty stage felt like a waste of time.

Its was Amazing!:) Loved Kevin Gates aka Luci Brasi of course... This was our first time attending one of his concerts and we'd definitely go again! I was sad that Rod Wave didn't perform but maybe I'll catch him elsewhere.:( The in between performers were okay. YK Osiris was very good and comical too. I enjoyed the way he told his story in a musical way and the graphics were... Sad we were trying to escape the cold & rain went off and left our can goods In the car so we wasn't able to get a memorabilia shirt. There also wasnt any vendors inside nor outside(of course) selling shirts and gear for the concert... Thanks for a fun night at Novo! (Fisrt time at the venue also). Can't wait for the next show!!! :) :) :) (Hopefully with Roddy Ricch, Rod Wave, YK Osiris, Chris Brown, Tory Lanez, Sada Baby and any other great artists)... I had emojis to tell my story but had to erase them :(

Oh my God this is my second time seeing him but I was not as close as I was on yesterday, and I liked to come unglued, when he walked out on stage he put on a great show from start to finish I, could listen to him all night while he preform his hits. I already have my ticket for November 15th, before I knew he was coming yesterday and I jumped on getting VIP tickets to see him. A true fan for life...❤️❤️❤️

Kevin Gates has been trending on social media for the past few days, thanks to his freestyle ‘ Super General ‘ where he was shooting his shot at Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Rubi Rose and more.

On Thursday night, he dropped the intro to the album along with the music video in promotion of his new album Khaza that releases next week on June 17th. Today we also have the official tracklist for the album that features 19 songs in total and no guest appearances apart from Juicy J on the last track ‘Thinking with My D*ck’.

The Three 6 Mafia rapper-featured single ‘ Thinking With My Dick ’ is from from 2013 that went viral on TikTok earlier this year, helping it rocket to No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the official tracklist for Khaza below.

Kevin Gates announces “The Ceremony Tour”

Multi-platinum rapper Kevin Gates has just announced his new “The Ceremony” headlining tour. The tour will be in support of his latest album, The Ceremony , which was released this past Friday via Atlantic Records.

Gates will kick off the tour on Saturday, March 23rd in San Angelo, Texas and make stops in Los Angeles, Boston, New York City, Chicago, and more before wrapping up on May 11th in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Artist presale tickets are available now, with additional  presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale beginning on Friday, February 2 nd at 10am local time at kvngates.com .

Kevin Gates Teases New Album "The Ceremony"

Kevin Gates has new music on the way.

Kevin Gates has dropped off a teaser for a new music video set for release today for "God Slippers." The single is the first from his newly-announced upcoming album, The Ceremony . While fans have yet to learn an official release date for the LP, they got a taste of what's to come on the single, which he unveiled earlier this month.

The announcement comes amid Gates' Only The Generals tour alongside BigXThaPlug, which has seen them make various stops across the U.S. He's scheduled to perform around Texas until the beginning of next month, when he'll move on to other cities in the south. It also comes amid some recent controversy, which was sparked when he taught his 8-year-old daughter how to drive earlier this week. Unfortunately, she wasn't wearing a seatbelt , which led to some concern among fans.

Kevin Gates Has New Music On The Way

"I don't raise p***y," he declared when asked about it. Despite the 37-year-old's antics , his fanbase can't wait to hear what he has in store for them next. His new album will follow his 2022 LP Khaza , which boasts one feature from Juicy J on “Thinking With My D*ck.”

Last month, TMZ caught up with the Louisiana native, who told the outlet how he was getting in shape for his tour . According to him, he got some pointers from Kevin Durant , DeMar DeRozan, and Chris "Lethal Shooter" Matthews. "I work out, I do a lot of stability training, a lot of hip mobility," he explained. "Gotta do a lot of yoga, I do weights. I do squats. They got this person, my personal trainer be tryin' to kill me. Be making me do these deep squats with kettlebells. This what it’s about right now." He added that Durant taught him quite a bit about breath control, which reminds him to "stay in the moment." Are you looking forward to Kevin Gates' new album?
