Rihanna performing " We Found Love " in Buffalo, NY

After Rihanna performed at the 2012 MTV Music Awards, she announced that she was to start a world tour to support her upcoming seventh studio album Unapologetic . [1] She embarked on a promotional tour known as the 777 Tour that lasted for seven days before the release of the album. Live Nation further released a trailer for the world tour and the North American tour dates. [2] Tickets went on sale in September 2012. The European dates and tickets were released two months later in November. [3]

Beginning in early March of 2013, Rihanna began to release videos for the tour through her Youtube channel showing behind the scenes footage regarding the costumes, the stage, and dance rehearsals. [4] The final video showed preparations for the first show in Buffalo, New York.

The tour has received generally positive reviews. Jane Stevenson from the Toronto Sun wrote that "bigger was definitely better as the 25-year-old artist, starting an hour later than scheduled, kicked off her show kneeling in a black cape in front of a female statue on a video screen before the full effect of the large-scale production kicked in...And if she was still suffering from the laryngitis that caused her to cancel two shows of the Diamonds Tour in the U.S. last week, you’d never know it from her strong vocals on such ballads as , "What Now," "Love The Way You Lie" and "Stay"...I’ve seldom seen a music artist so aware of her body and how to use it." Sam Adams from The Inquirer gave a positive review for the performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, writing Rihanna "gave herself equally to every new arrangement" and is "either an endlessly versatile performer or a vacant vessel, a chameleon or a cipher." [5] Brad Wheeler from the The Globe and Mail wrote "The 100-minute thrill ride included a two-tune encore, comprised of the bluesy ballad Stay – the woman can sing – and the sky-gazing, swirling, upswooping single Diamonds...Rihanna’s star is hot and still on the rise – Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce is now Sasha Fears." [6]

Mikael Wood from the Los Angeles Times positively reviewed the show stating, "At 25, Rihanna, like many of the suspended adolescents in her fan base, isn't yet willing to decide which one of her many roles will define her. If anything, she revealed more of them Monday night at Staples Center, where her Diamonds World Tour touched down for a sold-out concert that felt like four smaller shows strung together with costume and set changes. The concert was defined throughout by the woman at the center of it." [7] Mike Bell from the Calgary Herald gave a positive review of the show stating, "It was big, bright and bombastic. But she was somehow bigger, brighter and more bombastic. And deserving all of the attention for all of the right reasons, especially that main reason. Rihanna is a pop star. A pretty great one at that." [8] John-John Williams IV from The Sun wrote that "Rihanna gave a stellar performance in Baltimore" and added that she "pulled out all the stops, performing hit after hit." [9]

Jim Farber from the New York Daily News wrote that Rihanna gave a "dense and ambitious show" at the Prudential Center and that the show "sparkled any way you looked at it." [10] Christopher Spata from The Tampa Tribune gave a positive review for her performance at the Forum, writing that she was "captivating" and "happy to be back on stage." [11] Jeff Rosenthal from Rolling Stone commented on her performance in Brooklyn writing: "It could be very easy to dislike Rihanna and all she does – so many people unfollow one another on Twitter just because they're not being followed back – but who cares, her show is good. Her show is good because her songs are good, and her songs are good because her taste is good." [12]

Commercial response [ ]

After the tour was announced, it created mass success at the box office and many venues sold out within minutes. Due to high ticket demands in North America, additional dates were added in New York City, Toronto, and Montreal as a result. [13] Also in Europe, ticket experts predicted stadium dates to sell fast in the UK. [14]

During the performance in Morocco, Rihanna performed in front 150,000 people, her biggest audience to date. [15] She made history by becoming the youngest artist to perform at the Stade de France in Paris, beating out Lady Gaga who previously held the record. [16] She also made history becoming the youngest artist to sell out the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. [17]

Out of the 96 shows, all were sold-out except three.

We Went To Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour New York Show And The Outfits Were Amazing

rihanna diamonds tour

Last night, Maud and I had the pleasure of seeing Rihanna in Brooklyn for the New York stop on her sold-out Diamonds World Tour . Actually, the show was supposed to be on Saturday but there was some scheduling kerfuffle involving The Nets and that's pretty much where my knowledge and interests end because I know ZERO about all sports outside of competitive eating. Anyway, as you know, we've been covering the DWT extensively, as well as the incredible performance outfits dreamt up by her genius styling team Adam Selman and Mel Ottenberg , so here are our collective thoughts on Rihanna's DWT togs IRL. Warning: be prepared for a DEPRESSING amount of envy given the all-custom-everything nature of the clothes that are displayed on the borg-perfect body of a bajillionaire.

MARY H.K. CHOI: SO. Barclays Center! Did you know that it doesn't have an apostrophe, like, Barneys? I learned that this morning. I had never been before, had you? #sportsballsuxxx

MAUD DEITCH: I had not! It's so much more bougie than MSG, but I was really impressed by the consistency of the style amongst the fans that we saw. I feel like there's a secret trend vortex that the Navy exists within that I wasn't aware of.

MHKC: Agreed! But first to recap, we went to our 8th Rihanna concert in six months since we were on her 777 world tour late last year. And all her fans turned out in droves, maybe all potentially wearing ASOS?

Rihanna fans outside of Barclays Center.

Photo: Intothegloss' instagram

MD: ASOS and studded pum pum shorts, which, maybe those were ASOS too? I can't believe we've only seen her eight times, it feels like more.

MHKC: I've seen her nine times total but at that point, it's really splitting hairs. It was balmy last night which would explain the booty shorts, but the other interesting thing is that a lot of the girls were also dressed like dominatrix secretaries? Sort of prim and proper?

BUT ENOUGH, we are here to talk about Rihanna's clothes in action. We saw Adam and Mel sitting in the front and man, I have to say I am continually BLOWN AWAY by what they do. Especially in conjunction with Rihanna's VERYMUCH-RIDIC body.

MD: When I interviewed Adam couple weeks ago he said that one of the best things about his job was getting to dress someone with a body like that. I mean can you imagine? The woman can literally wear an oversized T-shirt and some heels and look like she's ready for a formal event... kind of "formal" in a certain sense. She looks "dressed" is what I mean. If I wore that, I would just look like I had forgotten my pants, full-stop.

MHKC: Speaking of T-shirt, I think my favorite aspect of their collaboration is that he continues to highlight her femininity by using masculine motifs and flipping them. She's so sexy and sexualized but it's not infantilizing and it's not soo... BINDING.

MD: No, it brings out the power in her body.

MHKC: You couldn't get further away from the "safe" nude platform heel + flattering midi dress lane that so many women languish in.

MD: It's clear that the three of them are really communicating.

MHKC: Agreed. It's such a modern take on TLC and Aaliyah , you can see some hat-tips but it never looks contrived or costumey or throw-backy. So the first outfit! The sheer black tee with the shorts and the black over-the-knee boots dripping in gold grommets.

MD: Custom Riccardo Tisci , all of it. That was the most classically "Rihanna" look to me.

MHKC: Absolutely. I love Rih x Tisci. She's been heavy into OTKs or Pretty Woman boots this year. Actually, for several years now by my count.

MD: Yes, and the pantsless thing is classic Rih. But I love that rather than going with plain undergarments, they went with a really heavily-patterned shorts and crop top look under the shirt, I really noticed that star on the back while she was dancing, but it seemed almost like a surprise. That whole, "the sexiest thing is to reveal some but not all" thing.

Rihanna performing in custom Raf Simons on her Diamonds World Tour.

Photo: Splash News

MHKC: Totally. She was doing a lot more dancing in general, too. And so much texture, between the sequined jumpsuit and the mesh. It's really a testament to dressing for function without compromising the dumbfounding awesomeness. On that tip, flats were a good look for her opener. That Raf Simmons jersey sitch with the blinding white, OTK LouBou boots was a pretty classic look as well. There was so much light bouncing all over the place.

MD: I wouldn't call those boots OTK, quite. They were beyond OTK.

MHKC: Right. They were nigh-crotch.

MHKC: Under the crotch?

MD: Yes. That's so gross sounding.

MHKC: Crotch-touching boots let's say, because booties are technically UTC, too. It's all under the crotch somewhere.

MD: Crotch-skimming?

MHKC: "Crotch" is gross. EW. Crotch-skimming is the WORST. Basically, they went up really, really high.

MD: Agreed that flats were a good look to start with.

Rihanna performing in custom Adam Selman on the Diamonds World Tour.

MHKC: Totally. She stayed in that Raf look for a minute but then rolled out that moto situation. That HAD to be custom, too.

MD: That look surprised me, although we had seen it before in photos. That whole section of the show was surprising, vibes-wise.

Rihanna's backup singers wore these custom Peggy Noland rompers.

Photo: Mel Ottenberg's Instagram

MHKC: Right, because it got HEAVY into that one aesthetic. Even her backup singers were wearing custom Peggy Noland race-car driver rompers. And those repeated motorcycle graphics. That bit went on a touch I thought. Mostly because it felt like a non-sequitor. I couldn't tell what it was all designed to lead up to.

MD: I thought the Peggy Noland rompers were another super boss move on the part of her styling team, to make the backup singers a real part of the theme rather than having them blend into the background, but overall I thought it went on too long as well.

MHKC: The singers and dancers all looked tremendous.

MD: Truly tremendous, so FLY.

MHKC: Remember for that bit, the dancers were wearing black-and-white allover check. Continuity!

MD: With black, mock turtleneck crop tops.

MHKC: GOOD LOOKS. Especially all that Hood by Air.

Rihanna's backup dancers in Hood By Air.

MD: They looked simultaneously ska and mod and also TLC.

MHKC: YES. OK, not to be hateful and meandering but SIDEBAR: how weird was the mood of the show in general? How drunk was everyone? People were SO drunk!

MD: People were Saturday drunk on a Tuesday, which is the worst look. Rihanna's aforementioned black, red, and yellow bustier and pants moto number was custom Adam Selman, BTW.

MHKC: Well, we knew it had to be Adam Selman because that balconette/bustier thing that he did for her during the 777 tour also fit like a miracle. It's like he just extended that bra into a skintight, Piet Mondrian -ish, anime-ish, moto outfit. It accentuated her body like CUHRAZY. The black stripes, that were like piping but laid flat, basically made her look UNREAL. Like, hardbody as F.

MD: The nod to Mondrian is both brilliant and a bit of a shame because I feel like that was lost in the overall design of that segment.

MHKC: I mean, she looked like a superhero, everything was flawless. Especially with her hair all long and wavy and shaved to the side.

MD: And the custom Manolos underneath, which are SNAKESKIN, although we couldn't tell that, really brought it over the top.

MHKC: WAIT. HOLD UP.

MHKC: She has snakeskin custom Manolos and snakeskin Tom Ford OTKs ? Sometimes I envy her life so hard it makes me feel cold inside.

MD: I KNOW, but it's not real jealousy because it's so ungettable. I want a normal person approximation of her life.

MHKC: You're right. I want ZERO of the drama and ZERO of the what's-his-name, but I do want the clothes. Also, to be honest I would probably never wear UTCs or OTKs. IN CONTRARY SUMMATION: DO NOT WANT HER LIFE. Do want that RiRiWoo lipstick though.

MD: UM, yes, that MAC pop-up was very impressive looking.

MHKC: I had fun at the show. She was also very almost basically on time!

MD: I did too! And she played all the hits.

Rihanna performing on the Diamonds World Tour.

MHKC: OH SNAP. We have to talk about that last outfit though because that was our favorite, right? We adored that halter sequin thing, but we LOOOOOVED that ice skater/cheerleader dress?

MD: That was definitely my favorite.

MHKC: That was apparently mirrored unless I was having a stroke?

MD: I BELIEVE the last dress was holographic, but I couldn't tell if it was the same one she for the first show, in Buffalo, which was also holographic with an allover money print. If it was the same, the print didn't translate even from our pretty-good-if-I-do-say-so-myself seats.

MHKC: We did have excellent seats. ALL I SEE IS SIGNS.

MD: MONEY ON MY MIND MONEY MONEY ON MY MIND.

MHKC: That dress was brilliant. Possibly holographic. Most likely made with baby unicorn souls.

MD: 10,000 baby unicorns.

MHKC: Just the souls though. The rest of it doesn't have BODY.

MD: They used the hair for something else... I feel like there's maybe a through-line between the clothes in DWT and Blonde Ambition.

MHKC: Yes and no. To me, you can't invoke Blonde Ambition without getting into Gaultier. Like, maaaaaaaybe if you want to talk about Madonna's play on suiting and Rihanna's masculine sportswear pastiche?

MHKC: But, like, to me, unless you're talking LEGIT cone bra/corsetry I don't think so. I mean, attitude-wise SURE. Like, crotch-grabbing GALORE.

MD: So much crotch-grabbing.

MHKC: And even some of the choreography, especially the more, well, CHOREOGRAPHED stuff I could see parallels. And there's def some "Rhythm Nation" going on with her dancers.—when they were serving all black with the mullet shirt and black caps. That was SO GOOD.

MD: It was so Janet.

MHKC: Yeah, it was a thoughtful show to look at with tons of fashion Easter Eggs. Can't help but wonder if the HELLA WASTED girls who were seated next to us with their ONE THOUSAND BEERS sloshing all over the place noticed. I hope they got home OK.

MD: Right that's one of the more interesting things to think about, for me. Clearly a lot of the Navy does notice, and they react accordingly in their own slightly mall-bound way. But those girls, I'm not even sure they could hear the music above the sound of their own wastedness.

MHKC: Mall-bound? You're going to get murdered by the Navy. Bye. RIP Maud.

MD: I MEAN THAT WITH SO MUCH LOVE THO.

MHKC: AHahahahaha.

MD: Who isn't mall-bound when you're talking about custom Tisci?!?!?!?!?!?!

MHKC: GOOD SAVE. Now we just have to watch the 777 documentary that we've been avoiding.

MD: I will love Rihanna forever and ever, no matter what she does to me. It's really a thing. Amazing.

MHKC: Yeah, me too.

Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour: Costume Breakdown

Rihanna kicked off her huge 27-city Diamonds tour in Buffalo last weekend, debuting her spicy costumes on stage for the first time. The sex-infused looks blend haute couture, urban swagger and urban sportswear all into one envy-inducing wardrobe. Rocking many Givenchy looks, Rihanna shows up Kanye West (who received heat for his leather skirted Givenchy stage look).

See latest videos, charts and news

Last week Kanye reflected on the backlash he received for wearing the Givenchy skirt as concert garb, telling Hot97, “What happens with these type of judges and people who are viewers, when you come in, I had the pink polo and the backpack, then I’m checking all the boxes for that Tribe Called Quest–era and J Dilla and all that, so they champion it. They don’t like Givenchy-Kanye. They don’t like Kanye in a kilt.”

Peso Pluma y Arcángel ofrecen enigmática actuación de trap en Latin AMAs 2024

But we digress. Now back to fierceness that is Rihanna. She first stepped out in an all-black ensemble created by Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci. The look was made up of a black and white leather bra with gold star embellishments, a sheer black silk shirt, gold embroidered satin shorts, and our favorite item: a gold shark tooth necklace engraved with the singer’s name: “RIRI.”

Trending on Billboard

“I enjoyed making these looks,” Tisci told WWD . “Rihanna represents what young and amazing means today. She is punk and talented. She offers intelligence, energy and pure beauty. She is the face of her generation.”

Riccardo also created a dark floor-length black cape, a printed parka with gold bullet motifs, and a punky energetic pink-and-neon dress paired with holographic kicks. Designer Raf Simons also collaborated with Rih on her stage fashions creating a sheer black dress with white Rihanna x Raf Simons text on both sides of the item paired with shorts, and white python custom Christian Louboutin boots.

The “Stay” songstress also rocked looks from her personal costume designer Adam Selman who created a sultry red halter and wrap-around skirt that revealed her perfectly toned abs, a red, white and yellow color-block bustier with matching leather pants. There was also a dollar bill hologram dress.

“Her body is so insane,” her costume designer Adam Selman told the New York Times. “It’s the dream body to make clothes for. You don’t have to try as hard.”

After the show Rihanna expressed her gratitude to fans for a sold-out concert, tweeting, “No words, just DIAMONDS!!! #EPICshit #BUFFALO $old out!!!”

Live reviews

Rihanna made her entrance through one of the tunnels like a boxer coming out for the main event. Concealing her face under a heavy hood, she slowly found her way onto the platform opposite the stage. A spotlight followed her every move, making the white robe glow, while phone lights provided stars to pierce through the dark night surrounding her. A single microphone waited on a stand as thunderous applause and ear-piercing screams filled the venue, and it served to silence the crowd in an instant. “All along it was a fever, a cold sweat hot-headed believer…” Having exposed nothing more than her unmistakable voice (and fingernails and unmistakable ass) to her audience, there was no doubt as to who was hiding under that robe. The entirety of “Stay” was performed from that position, before she revealed her face. Having attended close to a thousand concerts, it’s not often I find myself in awe at being in close proximity to a musician, but seeing Rihanna standing in front of me, in the flesh, made me realize what a cult of personality she has built around herself. As she continued the performance with “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)”, she was part pop diva, part rock star, part sex symbol, all while never being anything but Rihanna. She is still so young, yet has already solidified herself among the very few people in history who everyone will know by a single name. It was very in the show, but I was already convinced she had earned that status as well. Her voice is her defining talent, but her business acumen, stage presence, attitude, and beauty are what complete the package. - See more at: http://ilistensoyoudonthaveto.com/2016/05/10/rihanna-viejas-arena-05-09-16/#sthash.AluW51yF.dpuf

With all that has happened in France recently, Rihanna faced a stiff challenge getting Parisians and herself in a summery party mood at the Stadt De France.

However, she seemed to instinctively make the right choices to tap into the crowds fears, their need to reflect and their right to sing and dance without care. Rihanna opened the show hidden beneath a white hooded sweater and sang the wistful 'Stay' - a song whose lyrics took on a lot of ambivalence given the current political climate.

The songs from her Anti album were well received even though their lazy, sexy groove is more suited to a more intimate arena. Among the many hits from the album, 'Desperado' and 'Kiss it Better' stood out as they showcased Rihanna's scything vocals and Prince-like funk.

Rihanna also expertly mixed in medleys of favourites such as 'Umbrella', 'Man Down' and 'We Found Love in a Hopeless Place.' An undoubted highlight was 'Diamonds' which was introduced with a genuinely heartfelt speech by Rihanna expressing support for peace and the people of France. She then asked for the stadium to send out its light to France by way of illuminated mobile phones and the result was a spectacular touching moment.

By the end of the show, everyone had fallen more in love with Rihanna and headed back into the dark Parisian night with a little more light in their hearts and minds.

You've seen her music videos. You follow her on twitter. You follow her style, trends, favorites. You sing the lyrics in the shower, driving home with your friends, serenading a lover. But nothing is as real as seeing Rihanna perform live!!! The energy from the audience, the attitude and power that's thrown back off the stage...ah-maz-ing. The peeks and valleys from the soulful serenade of Stay to the sexy shock of S&M it's all new once you hear it live! One of my favorite things about going to a show is not only the excitement building up to it, buying the tickets then getting my bracelet and going in. That's just the beginning. I love more than anything, after seeing a great show and I'm back at home listening to the music, remembering where I was, who I was with, how I felt, what I saw and how much fun we were having when we were rocking out and suddenly, Rihanna isn't just some celebrity entertainer, she is a part of something bigger and the music is suddenly different, better, more meaningful. I've seen Rihanna a couple of times and every time that girl delivers. Her fans love her, she has attitude and swag that makes her real and sometimes the energy leaves you glowing for days and asking yourself, how long do I have to wait until music makes me feel this high again?

It was a great concert from the begining. DJ Mustard started the show, and it was wery good warm up, people were dancing.

Then after a little break came on the stage Big Sean. That was also powerful performance and we really enjoyed that.

After another break started Rihanna's show. She came from the back of the arena to the little stage above the soundmen. Two slow songs were awesome. Than she walked on steel and glass bridge and sing a song Woo and another one above us. See was so close to us, that was perfect. Then the reast of the show was on the main stage. She sings wery well, but the sound was overbassed, and the singing can't be heared clearly, that was mistake. Also she was'n talk much, she gave us one song after another. But the songs are so great. It was generally songs from the new album Anti, great. The show duration was 90min.

I'm so blessed that I was on the show. I was great. Thank you and hopefully see you RiRi again soon.

Rihanna's Anti World tour concert in Malmö was even better than I expected. I have to be honest, I was not a big fan of hers but of course Queen Riri changed that with her beautiful yet slaying personality and amazing voice. The overall experience was fun althought the only thing that was a littlee annoying is the fact that the concert started a little more than an hour later than what it was supposed to. But I mean.. it's Rihanna, she can do whatever. A tips from me would be to either buy the standing tickets as close to the scene as possible or buy the ones that are high up and on the opposite side of the scene. I was up and although it was long away from Riri it was magical to see all the people and the lights and literary everything. If you're hesirating weather you should go or not I would tell you to go go go, because it is such a beautiful and fun experience to have!

In one word - unforgettable.

Rihanna was in rare form. This tour has a more subdued palette than her other tours, as the stage was a blank white, and all of her outfits were in shades of cream, tan, black, and brown. However, there was a special energy in the room that night. Rihanna seemed happy, comfortable, and more in control than she has ever been. She joked with the crowd, engaged with all sides of the arena, and made sure everyone had a good time. Halfway during the concert, she announced that it was party time, and the stage lit up with these cool colored pods that pulsated in different colors. Other highlights include her flying over the audience, a foam machine on stage, and her dancers exciting the crowd in sparkly outfits.

I envy those who are going to see her, and implore those who can still buy tickets to do so!

Rihanna is probably one of the best pop artists at the moment. I've gone to three shows - first in Portugal, in her "Loud" tour; 2nd in London in a small venue for her "777" tour; and the last one in Richmond park, as part of the "Unapolagetic" tour. All of them were incredibly amazing! Her songs put so much energy in the crowd and it's impossible to not get stuck to her dance moves and stage special effects.

From the lights, sceneries, to the outfits - everything is top quality and very sophisticated and original.

You are able to listen to the top hits, and also some medleys from her older stuff. Setlists are wisely chosen, as they keep the crowd excited along the show.

I would definitely go to her next show - it's always a surprise and somewhat different from what she has done until now.

Daaaammmn. I didn't know what to expect, especially since I found myself more excited for the preshow of 'the weeknd'to the Rhianna tour and contemplated selling the tickets after he and Travis Scott pulled out. I'm glad I didn't. The show itself made me realise just how many anthems Rhianna has to her name. These sprinkled throwbacks were the most memorable for me throughout the show. The set and lighting combined to give a fab production value over all, in particular the very beginning where Rihanna emerged from behind and took a smaller stage before flying off on a clear platform across to the main stage. Overall I really really enjoyed the show. Wasn't quite one that made me jump and wave my arms around, but one that made me appreciate the talent Rihanna clearly has.

Rihanna's Mega 2024 Comeback World Tour: Dates, Tickets And More

23 October 2023, 13:30 | Updated: 24 October 2023, 11:26

Rihanna is 'quietly planning' a huge comeback - here's what we know so far

By Abbie Reynolds

The Rihanna drought has been a long one but get out your Umbrella 'ellas because RiRi is reportedly planning a major comeback with a world tour and two new albums! Here's everything we know so far.

Listen to this article

We haven't had a new Rihanna album since 'ANTI' in 2016 but she remerged in the music scene when she dropped her first song in six years ' Lift Me Up ' for Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.

This year the 'Needed Me' singer's Super Bowl performance became the most-watched halftime show ever. It was her first live performance in more than five years and she took the opportunity to reveal she was pregnant with her's and A$AP Rocky's second child.

As we near the end of 2023 fans are wondering - will 'R9' come this year, or in 2024? Well, despite Rihanna recently giving birth to her second son Riot Rose, it has been reported that she is gearing up for the comeback of a lifetime. RiRi insiders have since shut down the reports, saying 'no tour has been confirmed', but that won't stop the Navy manifesting a tour from their idol.

Even as a mum-of-two the Work doesn't stop, so it wouldn't surprise us if RiRi does announce a tour. Here's everything you need to know about the rumours on RiRi's mega return, including reports of a highly-anticipated world tour.

Rihanna has signed a £32 million deal with Live Nation

Will Rihanna be going on a world tour in 2024?

After reports claimed Rihanna's signed a multi-million pound deal with Live Nation, insiders close to the singer shut down the speculation saying: "No tour has been confirmed for Rihanna.”

It comes after sources claimed that she was planning an international tour in 2024 and 2025.

The deal with the entertainment company Live Nation "was created to facilitate a world tour," an insider told The Mirror .

"Her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family. She’ll press play on the live show once she’s ready to go back to work,” it was said.

Rihanna welcomed her second son in August 2023

How to get tickets to Rihanna's world tour

In October it was claimed that the star had signed a mega deal with Live Nation. So far, Live Nation have not gone public with any tour dates or planned ticket sales but they will be our first point of call for any updates.

Rihanna and her long-term boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their second son Riot into their lives in August so it might be later into 2024 than we'd like before she returns to stage. A newborn and a tour might even been too much for a powerhouse superstar like RiRi.

As soon as more information on Rihanna's tour and how to get tickets is available, we'll update this page!

When was Rihanna's last world tour?

Rihanna's last tour was The ANTI world tour in 2016 which started in March in Florida, Jacksonville and ended in November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The 'ANTI' tour was the artist's seventh concert tour and was in support of her eighth studio album ANTI. Only Big Sean accompanied RiRi as a support act on her UK/Europe dates of the tour after The Weekend pulled out last minute. For her North America dates Rihanna had Travis Scott as her special guest.

The tour started just after her song 'Work' with Drake hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and she surprised fans across the world by bringing him onto stage to perform with her.

Rihanna shares sweet footage of her son

After teasing new music for years, Rihanna is currently sitting on an abundance of new tunes the insider continued: "[She] has two albums’ worth of material to release once she’s back.”

Rihanna's fandom pushed a theory a few years ago suggesting Rihanna's comeback could actually be a double album. With news that she has two albums' worth of material this theory could be coming true - now that would be quite the Rihanna revival.

After her Super Bowl performance this year she said she was "excited to actually put new music out" but she didn't have any updates - maybe this excitement could spur the new mum to get back into it sooner rather than later.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are now the parents of two little boys

Since her album hiatus the star has featured on a PARTYNEXTDOOR song 'Believe It', as well as releasing music for the Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever soundtrack with 'Lift Me Up'.

She returned to live performing in May of this year when she announced her second pregnancy at her Super Bowl halftime show. Dressed in an iconic red fit beside her dancers in all white, the 'Work' star flashed her baby bump.

Her Super Bowl performance, which became most watched half time show ever, went viral on TikTok with even Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey's daughters North West and Monroe Cannon recreating the routine.

Rihanna hasn’t released new music in years, and despite many rumors and queries from fans and journalists, she hasn’t seriously hinted that a full-length is on the way. As the world waits for something new from the superstar, her older hits continue to perform well, and now, one of them has earned a very special honor.

“Diamonds” by Rihanna has been certified diamond by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The tune has now shifted 10 million equivalent units, according to the music industry organization.

In the U.S., songs and albums can be certified diamond once they reach that 10 million threshold. That figure is made up of equivalent units, which include both pure purchases as well as equivalents, which are generated from streaming activity.

Rihanna has earned diamond singles in the past in the U.S., but “Diamonds” is different from her others wins. This time around, she collects another one of these special plaques entirely on her own, as her similarly-certified smashes were all marketed alongside other artists.

“Diamonds” marks Rihanna’s third diamond song in America. Her Eminem collaboration “Love the Way You Lie” and “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris have both previously advanced from multi-platinum status to the diamond level.

‘Challengers’ Reviews: Does Zendaya Tennis Movie Score With Critics?

‘baby reindeer’ star says real martha searches need to stop, patriots select north carolina quarterback drake maye with no 3 pick in nfl draft.

At the moment, “Love the Way You Lie” stands out as the top-certified track for both Rihanna and Eminem (for him, it’s tied with “Lose Yourself” for this position). The song was certified diamond a little more than a decade ago–shortly after “Diamonds” became a hit. Now, that pop/rap track is up to 13-times platinum status.

Rihanna released “Diamonds” in 2012 as the lead single from her then-upcoming album Unapologetic . The tune shot right to No. 1 on the Hot 100, giving the musical superstar one of her most recent champions on the tally.

Three more hits from Rihanna are headed for diamond certifications, though when they’ll collect their honors is anybody’s guess. “Work,” “Needed Me” and “Stay” are all steady at nine-times platinum status, so diamond honors are in the future–perhaps the near future.

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.
