Wolfgang Petry: Unerwartetes Comeback nach Schock-Nachricht!

Im März erschien das neue Album von Wolfgang Petry und eigentlich standen im Rahmen des Release auch einige Interviews an. Diese wurden kurzerhand aber abgesagt. Eine gute Nachricht gibt es aber für seine Fans, denn seine Hits kann man bald live auf Tour erleben. 

Wolfgang Petry: Interviews zum neuen Album abgesagt

Wolfgang Petry (71) ist seit seiner Entdeckung 1975 aus der Schlagerbranche nicht mehr wegzudenken . Egal ob "Wahnsinn", "Weiß der Geier" oder "Verlieben, verloren, vergessen, verzeih’n" - seine Hits können immer noch Millionen von Menschen heute ohne Texthänger singen. 

Über die Jahre wurde es immer mal wieder ruhig um Wolfgang, doch die Musik hat er nie komplett in den Hintergrund rücken lassen. Erst im März 2023 veröffentlichte er mit "Stark wie wir" endlich wieder ein neues Album. Eigentlich sollte der Schlagerstar im Rahmen des Release auch mehrere Interviews geben . Doch wie "Schlager.de" erfuhr, hat er sich dann doch umentschieden:

Über meine Platte kann geschrieben werden. Aber  Interviews gebe ich keine mehr .

Private Einblicke oder Worte wird es von dem Sänger also in Zukunft nicht mehr wirklich geben. Dafür können sich die Fans auf etwas anderes freuen ...

Wolfgang Petry: Fans können zu seinen Hits jetzt live feiern

Wenn das nicht der Traum eines jeden Wolfgang Petry-Fans ist: In "Wahnsinn! – Die Show" werden seine größten Hits wieder live auf der Bühne performt. Zwar wird der Schlagersänger nicht selbst auf der Bühne stehen, dennoch war er an der Entwicklung der Show beteiligt und der kreative Kopf hinter der Idee. Der offizielle Instagram-Account des Events macht schon fleißig Werbung für die anstehenden Konzerte im Oktober und November diesen Jahres:

Ein neues Album als "Dankeschön" für seine Fans hatte Schlager-Star Wolfgang Petry Anfang Januar angekündigt. In einem Interview hat der 62-Jährige nun klargestellt: Eine Tour als Dankeschön wird es nicht geben. Petry will nicht an alten Erinnerungen "kratzen".

Das ist mit Sicherheit eine kleine Enttäuschung für die Fans: Deutschlands wohl größter Schlager-Star, Wolfgang Petry (62, „Alles“), wird trotz Comeback-Album definitiv nicht auf den Konzertbühnen des Landes zu sehen sein. Petry wolle ein „Phantom bleiben“ und nicht mehr in die Öffentlichkeit zurückkehren, berichtet die „Bild“-Zeitung. Grund für die Entscheidung ist offenbar, dass Petry nicht alte, positive Erinnerungen an seine Tourneen überdecken will, wie er in einem Gespräch mit dem Blatt andeutet: „Die ganzen Auftritte trage ich noch mit mir rum und kann mich an so viele schöne Erlebnisse erinnern. Man sollte das einfach nur so stehen lassen und nicht mehr dran kratzen.“ Zudem fühlt sich der Star mit der, in der Zeit seit seinem Rückzug aus dem Musikgeschäft im Jahr 2006, gewonnenen Anonymität nach eigenen Angaben sehr wohl. „Ich fühle mich nicht mehr als öffentliche Person“, sagte Petry. „Ich genieße es, überall unerkannt hingehen zu können, habe keine Privilegien mehr und werde wie jeder andere behandelt.“ Stattdessen vertreibe er sich die Zeit nun mit viel Sport. Eine Darstellung, die Petrys Sohn Achim (39, „Mein Weg“) im vergangenen Sommer in einem Interview mit der Nachrichtenagentur spot on news bestätigte: „Er treibt exzessiv Sport. Und er referiert über Ernährung“, berichtete Achim Petry. „Stur wie ein Esel und dann auch noch über Ernährung referieren! Das macht keinen Spaß, mit ihm darüber zu reden. Da heißt es einfach: ‚Du ernährst dich falsch!'“ Wolfgang Petrys neues Album „Einmal noch!“ erscheint am Freitag. Es enthält vor allem discoartige Neuaufnahmen alter Hits.

After Halloween you can now slowly get in the mood for Christmas - for example with "Always when it snows" by Wolfgang "Wolle" Petry (72). His first Christmas album in 23 years will be released on November 3rd. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, the “Weiß der Vulture” singer talks about his favorite song, his biggest Christmas wish and why fans no longer have to expect a live performance.

"I'm fine," says Wolfgang Petry - and that's not a given. The pop star recently made headlines with eye surgery. It was said in September that he almost went blind due to cataracts. However, an operation on both eyes in a Bonn hospital saved his sight. “The operation went very well and was successful,” “Bild” quoted the pop star from Cologne as saying. "I can now see like a lynx again and recognize all the notes and lyrics clearly, which helps me enormously in my work in the recording studio."

And so, over the past few months, a new Christmas album with a total of twelve songs has been created - our own compositions and cover versions of popular Christmas songs. The press release says: "The atmospheric, nostalgic start to 'Always when it snows' is made by the title song of the same name, on which Wolfgang Petry talks about fond memories of Christmas past and how this special time remains for him to this day, to festive pop sounds has lost none of its original magic." In the past, the man with the friendship bracelets often gave his fans Christmas albums like the two-part “Joy,” “Wolles Fröhliche Weihnachts” and the best-of “Joyful Christmas.” Why did he now decide to contribute music to the cradle festival again? “It just happened that way, and I thought it was time again after 20 years,” he explains in an interview with spot on news.

Choosing the new album wasn't that easy for him: "Since I've already recorded so many Christmas songs, I had to browse a lot to find new songs. I then equipped them with the 'Wolle Sound'," reports he and adds: "But there are also a few new compositions." His favorite song is “That Must Be Love”. He explains the reason for this as follows: "I suddenly had so many images in my head, and then I saw the Christ child in front of my door."

What he's really looking forward to at Christmas is seeing his family and "laughing a lot." There are no material things on his wish list, but rather “health, health, health.” Given his experiences this year, that's probably all too understandable. However, he turns down fans who especially want their “Wolle” to perform live again at Christmas: “I’m just letting my time stand there!”

In 2006, Wolfgang Petry said goodbye to the stage after a 30-year career and cult hits like “Wahnsinn” and “Du bist ein Wunder”. His last appearance was at the Goldene Tuning Fork. In 2019 he dared to make another small comeback as rocker Pete Wolf. Even though Petry has retired from the stage, he regularly delivers new music. The album “Stark wie wir” was last released on March 3, 2023. It was a declaration of love to his wife Rosie. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November 2022. The two appeared in front of the camera together for the first time for the video for the album precursor “You belong to me and I belong to you”.

With his typical mix of rock and hits, Wolfgang Petry is one of the most successful artists in Germany. He can now look back on almost twenty million units sold and a total of 27 studio albums. There are also several gold records, five echoes and ten golden tuning forks.

„Verlieben, verloren, vergessen, verzeih'n“, „Wahnsinn“ oder „Weiß der Geier“ – diese Hits machten Schlagersänger Wolfgang Petry zur Legende. Dann der Schock für viele Fans: Vor sieben Jahren gab er bei Dieter Thomas Heck im TV seinen Rücktritt bekannt. Tränen flossen bei seinen Anhängern, die Verzweiflung war groß. Im Februar dieses Jahres gab es dann die Meldung auf die viele gewartet, aber nur wenige gehofft hatten: Wolfgang Petry veröffentlichte „Einmal noch“, ein Best-of-Album inklusive eines neu aufgenommenen Tracks.

Doch das war ihm wohl nicht genug, denn vor drei Wochen dann die erneute Sensation: Mit „Rettungsboot“ erscheint auf dem neuen Achim Petry Album ein Duett mit Vater Wolfgang. „Zuerst kam die Duett-Idee. Und dann kam er irgendwann damit um die Ecke und meinte: 'Ich mach auch im Video mit.' Und dann wollte er auch immer mehr! “, beschreibt uns Achim Petry im exklusiven Interview wie es zum Duett mit seinem Vater kam. Wenn Wolle „immer mehr“ will, auf wie viel „mehr“ dürfen wir uns denn dann künftig freuen? „Ich weiß nicht, wo es meinen Vater noch hinträgt. Keine Ahnung. Ich glaube, er hat ein bisschen Blut geleckt wieder Musik zu machen und das finde ich eigentlich auch das Beste an der ganzen Geschichte. “ Sein Vater habe wieder in die Musik zurückgefunden, wie uns Achim Petry weiter berichtet. Ein Comeback des gefeierten Schlagersängers scheint also alles andere als ausgeschlossen. Der Wunsch seines Sohnes ist jedenfalls klar definiert: „Ich würde mich echt freuen, wenn er wieder auf die Bühne kommen würde. Ich glaube auch, dass ihm da wirklich was fehlt – musikalisch gesehen. Nicht der ganze Rummel, Stadion und 'Hastenichtgesehen', sondern einfach auf die Bühne zu gehen und einfach wieder Musik zu machen.“

Here we are in the South of Russia. Welcome to Krasnodar, a major economic and cultural center of North Caucasus, also called “the capital of Kuban”. Krasnodar, perhaps, is one of the most interesting resort towns of the Russian Federation. It is a relatively young city founded by the Cossacks in в 1793 on the lands granted by Ekaterina II (hence its former name was Ekaterinodar). Later, when the Soviet system rose to power, the city was re-named to Krasnodar in 1920, and it preserved this name up to date.

Krasnodar is a center of the Russia’s southern touristic zone, located of the right bank of the Kuban River, 120-150 km from two warm seas – the Black and the Azov. It is an interesting fact that the city is located in the golden section of the Earth, almost in between the equator and the North Pole, right on the 45th parallel, also called “the Golden Line” or “the Life Line”. There exists an opinion that the living conditions in these latitudes are most favorable for human.

In spite of the city’s “youth” Krasnodar has many historical landmarks, while its architectural look is various and represented by different styles from Baroque and Classicism to late Modern. In Krasnodar, there is one of the largest Russian churches – Saint Catherine’s Cathedral, built as early as in 1914 and survived by a miracle under the Soviet power. It is also worth while visiting the Krasnodar main Orthodox Church – Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Interesting and dramatic, was the fate of this, one of the Russia’s most beautiful churches, an example of Russian and Byzantine templar style. Alexander Nevsky Military Cathedral was erected in April 1853, but later on, in year 1932 it was blown up by the Communists. And it was not until May 2006 when the inauguration ceremony of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral built anew took place.

Nowadays the Krasnodar architectural variety combines the harmony of old and modern structures. Now, next to the churches there are also modern high-rise buildings (the Marriott Hotel”), shopping and entertainment centers (“Red Square”), modern concert halls (Palace of Arts “Premiere”), restaurants, and night clubs. The city also strikes with its numerous museums, theaters, art galleries. Particularly, if you find yourself in Krasnodar, we recommend you to visit the Krasnodar Regional Art Museum named after F. A. Kovalenko to enjoy a rare collection of Russian avant-garde and Dutch art of XVI century, and also attend concerts of SSAI “Kuban Cossack chorus” to listen to Kuban Cossack, Russian and Ukrainian folk-songs.

Two Krasnodar unusual landmarks enjoy wide popularity among tourists and local community: the Monument to a purse and the Monument to the doggies in love. Do you want to turn round? Then you are to the purse. It is enough to rub your purse over it, and you will have more money. But if you are unlucky in love, then the loving couple of dogs will help you, you should stroke their small paws and love will certainly come to you.
