Street Fighter 6 Guide – Where to find Rashid in World Tour mode

Street Fighter 6 Rashid World Tour location

Rashid has arrived in Street Fighter 6 as the first post-launch downloadable fighter – the first of four. Alongside his inclusion in the Fighting Ground modes and ranked play, he now also appears in the single-player World Tour mode . He’s available to share his moves with your custom avatar, and you can also befriend him, boost your relationship, and learn more about the intricate details of his backstory. But where in the world do you find him?

Where is Rashid in Street Fighter 6 World Tour?

The Street Fighter community is reporting that Rashid will show up in World Tour whether you have purchased him or not . Unlike some of the other Masters in World Tour, you won’t be able to simply find Rashid on the street in a country and ask him to be your teacher. You’ll have to jump through a couple of extra hoops to get his attention.

The quest required to kick things off is located at the Old Nayshall Central Bazaar at Night.

There, you’ll find a new sidequest giver, Azam, who should be a familiar face if you’ve previously met Rashid in Street Fighter 5.

Street Fighter 6 Guide - Where to find Rashid in World Tour mode

Azam will send you on a mission to find a fighter for an educational video he’s making, and luckily, the game will tell you exactly where you need to go next: halfway up the mountain in Nayshall.

There, you’ll meet Rashid for the first time, and you’ll both return to Azam and get in a quick fight. Once that’s over you’ll part ways, but not for long.

Once the quest is over, Rashid can be found at the Old Nayshall Train Station during Daytime . The closest fast travel point is Central Bazaar.

Chat with him once more, and his real introduction as your teacher will begin.

How much does Rashid cost?

You’ll need to purchase Rashid to use him in Battle Hub and Fighting Ground modes. He’s available from the in-game Goods Shop, and comes at the cost of 350 Fighter Coins – a real-world value of roughly USD $7.00.

He is also included in the Year One Character Pass DLC , which offers access to four characters, extra costume colours, and in-game currency (4200 Drive Tickets), for USD $30.

If you purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Street Fighter 6 , you should already have access to him, and if you have any Rental Passes from playing online, you can redeem one to use him for one hour.

How to Find Rashid in Street Fighter 6 World Tour Mode

How to Find Rashid in Street Fighter 6 World Tour Mode

  • Author: Olivia Richman

world tour where is rashid

Rashid is the first DLC fighter added to Street Fighter 6 and he’s already making a massive impact. The fighter-turned-influencer has a snarky personality, charismatic smile, and an incredibly aggressive playstyle that’s already being predicted as OP.

After the most recent update , you can now play Rashid in Fighting Grounds mode, ranked play, and the single-player campaign mode World Tour . This mode is awesome for learning a character’s moveset and playstyle while also learning a bit more about each of their backstories and personalities. If you want to befriend Rashid and learn more about him, World Tour is the place to do it.

How to Get Rashid in Street Fighter 6

As the first post-launch downloadable fighter, you’ll have to purchase Rashid . If you want to buy him individually, head to the Goods Shop and buy him for 350 Fighter Coins (or about $7). You can also purchase the Year One Character Pass DLC, which includes Rashid and three other upcoming fighters as well as more outfit options. This costs $30. If you purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Street Fighter 6, you’ll automatically have Rashid.

Rashid dodging a kick in World Tour mode

Where is Rashid in World Tour

Rashid is not as straightforward to locate as other Masters in World Tour mode. He won’t be simply standing around in the street waiting to be your teacher. Here’s how to locate Rashid in World Tour mode:

  • Head to the Old Mayshall Central Bazaar, making sure to do so at night
  • Locate Azam, who will give you a side quest
  • When you talk to Azam, you’ll learn exactly where to go to find a fighter to create an educational video
  • Head halfway up the mountain in Nayshall

At this point, you’ll encounter Rashid for the first time. He will be busy filming some content of his own. Apparently, Rashid’s story has led him to becoming a streamer in Street Fighter 6. He hopes to travel the world, recording his fights with some of the strongest people he can find.

Rashid livestreaming in World Tour mode

When you approach him, Rashid will have you hold his camera and record him taking on another fighter in the mountains. As expected, Rashid’s cool head and crazy movements keep him one step ahead of his opponent at all times.

“Finding fighters good enough to make a cool video is harder than I thought,” Rashid says.

Both of you will return to Azam and take part in a short fight for the educational video. After that, you’ll part ways but you can find Rashid again at the Old Nayshall Train Station during the day. Chatting with him will lead to him becoming your teacher.

Fans are already pumped about the addition of Rashid in World Tour. Street Fighter players said they loved the cutscene and Rashid’s new story as a streamer. The training and interactions have been called entertaining and fun, so it’s definitely worth finding him.

Akuma rages into Street Fighter 6 on May 22

Akuma rages into Street Fighter 6 on May 22

Akuma will challenge foes worthy enough to face him in Fighting Ground, World Tour, and the Battle Hub.

world tour where is rashid

Legend tells of a man so consumed by his pursuit of strength that his soul and body have now faded into nothingness. Though many wish he were a mere legend, Akuma will rise again in Street Fighter 6 , to challenge foes worthy enough to face him on May 22. Will you harness the power of the Satsui no Hado or succumb to it?

Akuma made his debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a hidden boss and playable character. In Street Fighter 6, Akuma’s thirst for strength has taken a maddening toll. He carves figures of the hundreds of opponents he has felled and places them in the cave he resides, their silence beckoning him to fall deeper into his path of inner strife.

world tour where is rashid

Nakayama-san’s comments on his design: Akuma now has a more striking presence complete with gray hair. We also used Buddha statues and animals as references for his musculature in an attempt to give the character a more memorable aesthetic.

world tour where is rashid

Like the rest of the Year 1 characters, Akuma can become your Master in World Tour. Find him in a new area, Enma’s Hollow, located on the island of Gokuento, but beware the effects of the Satsui no Hado lest you become tormented by its hunger. After increasing your bond with Akuma, he’ll teach you his demonic moves, which you can then assign to your avatar to be used in your World Tour travels or in Avatar Battles in the Battle Hub.

As a man who has spent his life honing his skills, Akuma’s move set will be familiar to long-time fans, but the Satsui no Hado has unlocked new abilities. His fast walk speed and long-reaching normals allow him to control space and the flow of the fight.

world tour where is rashid

Let’s start with Akuma’s iconic moves that make him a well-rounded pursuer. His infamous fireball, Gou Hadoken is back, and can be charged up so that a “red fireball” is released instead, giving Akuma more options upon hit or block. Everyone’s favorite air fireball, Zanku Hadoken, can cover Akuma’s aggressive approach. His dragon punch, Gou Shoryuken, works as an anti-air or as a combo ender. Finally, Tatsumaki Zanku-Kyaku sees Akuma spinning forward in a series of kicks that change properties based on which kick button is pressed.

world tour where is rashid

Like his previous iterations, Akuma uses Ashura Senku to glide on the battlefield cloaked in shadows. Be wary of using this ability since it can be stopped mid-way by an opponent’s attacks. However, Akuma has honed this move’s vulnerabilities and can now use Oboro Throw during the approach to surprise opponents.

world tour where is rashid

Adamant Flame is one of Akuma’s new moves, where he performs a forward thrust engulfed in flames. This move is useful in combos and for exploiting vulnerable opponents due to its long reach. The OD version will wall splat opponents, opening up more opportunities in the corner.

Demon Raid is the Street Fighter 6 version of Hyakkishu. As Akuma leaps into the air with this move, choose to follow up with a low kick, overhead attack, dive kick, or to end the leap early. The OD version of Demon Raid unlocks two more follow-ups: an air fireball and an air tatsu.

world tour where is rashid

Akuma’s Level 1 Super Art is Messatsu Gohado, where he fires a highly concentrated ball of Satsui no Hado. Like most Level 1s, this move is invulnerable on start-up. Akuma has a second Level 1 called Tenma Gozanku where he unleashes the fireball from the air.

world tour where is rashid

Empyrean’s End is Akuma’s Level 2 Super Art where he turns the Satsui no Hado into a powerful flame and ignites it within the opponent. Using this move close to the corner will result in a wall splat where Akuma can continue his pressure or damage. Empyrean’s End is also invulnerable on start-up.

world tour where is rashid

Akuma’s first Level 3 Super Art is Sip of Calamity, another move that is invulnerable on start-up! He throws opponents on the ground with their face and follows up with a single devastating blow.

world tour where is rashid

Finally, the move you’ve all been waiting for: Shun Goku Satsu or the “Raging Demon.” This second Level 3 Super Art can only be performed when his Vitality is low enough for a Critical Art and can be used to end combos. This time, he allows you to see what happens during the one-second worth of nightmares.

Coming with this update is a new stage, Enma’s Hollow, where Akuma resides to continue his hellbent training. Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners will receive this stage on May 22.

world tour where is rashid

Akuma’s Outfit 2 is inspired by his debut look in Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Speaking of outfits, Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma will have their Outfit 3s also available for purchase when Akuma releases, and will automatically be distributed to all Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners.

One last thing before we sign off. With the Akuma update comes the major balance patch we mentioned in the past where all characters will receive changes. We’ll have more to share about this in the future as we approach May 22.

Get ready to unleash your inner demon when Akuma rages in!

With the Rashid update, Street Fighter 6 proves its DLC plan is (almost) perfect

The master of the Turbulent Wind has brought more than just sick parkour and the latest gadgets to the world of Street Fighter 6.

Street Fighter 6 has been out for a little over a month, and surprisingly Capcom has already seen fit to drop its first major content addition for the game in an update led by returning fighter Rashid.

Considered the protagonist of SF5, where he was on a solemn mission to avenge a murdered friend, Rashid is living a lighter life in SF6. An infuriating live streamer who parkours and flips around endlessly for views, it's both great to have him back and see this character in a different place than in the previous game – and a growing roster is also a good thing .

Cover image for YouTube video

But this update doesn't stop there – and it's a great proof of concept for how SF6's DLC setup isn't just for those entrenched in ranked matches and the online battle hub; it's for all three prongs of the game, including those who adored its single-player .

You see, Rashid isn't just a new playable character for offline and online multiplayer battles – he's also an additional Master character in SF6's World Tour mode . Once you own him, a new side quest pops up in Nayshall, the open zone area that unlocks in the second half of SF6's story. Complete that side quest to meet Rashid, who functions like all of the other main characters in the game.

That means Rashid can become a 'master' to the protagonist. Your created avatar can adopt his fighting style, learn his moves, and befriend him. As your relationship advances, Rashid dishes out a couple of side quests that'll take you to various locations around the world. There's voice-acted cutscenes and some comic book interludes along the way.

Rashid Camera shot from Street Fighter 6

It's all lovely, but what I'm actually more impressed by is what else joined the game alongside Rashid. Capcom is clearly aware that a lot of players will have already finished World Tour by now – and so new content is required to make leveling up Rashid's style worthwhile. Their solution is simple, but a perfect fit for Street Fighter: tournaments.

The two main zones in Street Fighter 6's World Tour both feature stadiums – and so both Metro City and Nayshall are ready and raring to go, hosting fighting tournaments for players to participate in. There are daily tournaments, limited to participation once a real-world day and with stronger rewards, plus unlimited 'normal' tournaments you can grind as often as you like. These are honestly rather brilliant.

In Metro City, each tournament has all the trappings of a proper competition – round-based structure, brackets, and even commentators. Prizes are available for winning or placing in the top four. These are end-game challenges, with character levels for these tournaments starting in the sixties. The rewards are clearly geared towards helping players with an end-game grind, unlocking abilities and creating characters for online Battle Hub Avatar matches.

world tour where is rashid

Over in Nayshall, the Tournament takes a different, pre-set format, where you'll need to fight through a pre-defined set of opponents in any order you like, and in the World Tour format – so with huge health bars, two or three-on-one fights, and so on. Each round of this completed gives the player a key which unlocks a mysterious door beneath the arena; each unlocked room containing oodles of useful end-game items. What's surprising is that this new side quest line actually introduces some minor new areas to the world, too. Quietly, and without much fanfare.

Each of the tournaments is also home to familiar faces. This is the part I particularly love. Characters from World Tour show up here as competitors - giving you a chance to face off against the likes of Li-Fen or Final Fight's Thrasher Damnd again, but at a higher level. For the unfamiliar, these World Tour NPCs always have the basis of their moves in existing SF6 characters - but they're all augmented with a few unique characteristics all their own.

Azam and Rashid in a comic-style cutscene in Street Fighter 5.

Rashid even brings one such character with him. Azam, his manservant, appears in Rashid's missions as an NPC foe. Azam uses Rashid's move set, as you'd expect – but as a bigger fella, he also has a unique and absolutely sick-looking wind-powered command grab that sort of makes me wish he was a playable character.

Mega fans of Street Fighter and its extended universe may even find a surprise or two tucked away in these tournaments. Word is fans will find a character wearing a pink gi who rolls, taunts, and fires off weaker fireballs. Though this isn't actually the infamous Dan , it's clear one of his apprentices is running around World Tour mode – which is pretty rad.

It's amazing what a small difference a couple of unique moves can add to even otherwise random no-name marks – and the DLC seems to be leaning into that with content that serves to both enhance the big-name character additions and further flesh out Street Fighter 6's world.

If you're a competitive type, you've got a new character to toy with, bringing all the glorious chaos to the meta that such additions do . If you like the single-player, avatar matches, and other casual stuff, there's plenty for you here, too. In this, SF6 does well to relatively decently justify only offering four characters this year where SF5 typically added six per year, too.

world tour where is rashid

It's so close to perfect... and yet Capcom trips at the finish line, in the pricing. To buy Rashid costs 350 Fighter coins (around $7). However, the smallest volume of Fighter Coins you can buy is $10 – theoretically leaving players $3 out of pocket.

Yes, you can earn fight coins for free in other ways. Yes, you can buy the season pass and just get Rashid by default – but that's not the point. A brilliant addition is undermined by the sort of cynical nickel-and-diming usually reserved for the most scummy mobile games, and that's a shame.

On every other front Rashid is a big win, though – and I can't wait for the other three characters over the course of the year. Hopefully Capcom does something about those Fight Coin bundles before newcomer AKI arrives in the Autumn.

How to unlock A.K.I. as a Master in Street Fighter 6 World Tour

Michael Hassall

Michael Hassall

A.K.I. is a dangerous poison-wielding fighter, trained by Street Fighter V’s F.A.N.G., who has a mean and sadistic streak. And she can be your master if you follow our guide.

A.K.I. (or Aki) is a deadly assassin who uses poison to paralyze and defeat her foes, before closing with her unorthodox movement and tearing you to pieces with her vicious claws. But this poison power is also very potent, and for your World Tour Avatar, you might want a drop of poison for yourself. Here’s how to unlock A.K.I., the Maniacal Mistress of Poison, as a Master in Street Fighter World Tour:

How to unlock Aki as a Master in SF6 World Tour

(Screenshot by esports.gg)

To unlock A.K.I. as a Master, first head to the training grounds of one of China’s other martial art masters in SF6, Chun-Li. There, speak to an old lady called Lao Mao, who’s complaining of being tired. She’ll give you the mission  Good Medicine’s Hard to Come By.  Give her an Energy Drink (any size will do) to energize her, and then she’ll tell you she’s also suffering from back pain. She explains that a man called Fang Fei has some herbal medicine that will help her pain.

(Screenshot by esports.gg)

Follow the mission objective to a location beneath the stairs of the MHM Stadium, and there you’ll find Fang Fei, who (of course) is none other than the deadly F.A.N.G.. However, Fang Fei doesn’t seem set on dealing any harm (although he does mention Shadaloo remnants, so take that how you will). He sends you to China to get ingredients so he can make the herbal medicine.

(Screenshot by esports.gg)

When you check on your World Tour map, you’ll now have a new location, Tian Hong Yuan, China. Traveling there for the first time will trigger a cutscene where you’ll witness A.K.I. deal with a pickpocket in her own unique way.

(Screenshot by esports.gg)

After this, speak to A.K.I., and she’ll give you the ingredients and allow you to become her student. You can conclude the mission by returning to Fang Fei, and then talking to Lao Mao.

How to unlock A.K.I. Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6 for free

(Image via Capcom)

A.K.I.’s Outfit 2 is a devilish red dress with black frills that looks somewhat inspired by the gothic lolita style. This turns A.K.I. from deadly to adorable in our opinion, and so is a must-have. To unlock it without paying the 50 Fighter Coins usually required, you can level up A.K.I.’s bond to maximum by gifting her various rewards.

A.K.I’s favorite gift is the Fan, which can be obtained by defeating the NPC Ioannis in Tian Hong Yuan, China with A.K.I’s style.. There's also Mallory, a level 77 NPC in the SiRN Building 3rd Floor who you'll need to perform a perfect parry on. NPC’s go on cooldown after you’ve fought them so you might have to space this out. Additionally, Prepaid cards from Nayshall are a good filler gift. A.K.I also has a unique one-of-a-kind bond item that can be obtained by completing the quest The Secret Sentient Sidekick in Metro City.

Six allrounders in Afghanistan's Rashid Khan-led T20 World Cup squad

Rashid Khan will lead an experienced 15-man Afghanistan squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, the ACB announced on Tuesday. Of the 15 players, eight are currently involved in the IPL.

The squad has only four batters - wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz , Ibrahim Zadran , Najibullah Zadran , and back-up keeper Mohammad Ishaq , but the presence of six allrounders makes up for it. Alongside Rashid, the other allrounders in the Afghanistan squad are Azmatullah Omarzai , Mohammad Nabi , Gulbadin Naib , Karim Janat and Nangeyalia Kharote .

The pair of Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and Noor Ahmad complete Afghanistan's spin quintet with Rashid, Nabi and Kharote. Naveen-ul-Haq is the lone right-arm fast bowler apart from the allrounders, with left-arm pacers Fazalhaq Farooqi and Fareed Ahmad closing out the 15.

This will be the first time that Noor, Janat and, Ishaq - who featured in the last two men's U-19 World Cups - will play at the T20 World Cup. Hashmatullah Shahidi, who captained Afghanistan in the 2023 ODI World Cup, was not selected.

There was no place for left-hand opener Hazratullah Zazai in the main squad. He is one of three travelling reserves to the USA and the Caribbean, alongside Sediqullah Atal and Mohammad Saleem .

Afghanistan are in Group C in the 20-team tournament, with two other Test teams, New Zealand and co-hosts West Indies, in their group. Uganda, their first opponents on June 3, and Papua New Guinea are the other two teams in Group C.

HOUSTON (AP) — Time marches on and all good things must come to an end. But don’t tell that to The Rolling Stones .

What many believe to be the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon as they kicked off their latest tour Sunday night at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

The Stones have been touring for more than 60 years. Frontman Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Keith Richards are both 80, with guitarist Ronnie Wood not far behind at 76. Their tour is being sponsored in part by AARP.

But during a vibrant two-hour show, the Stones played with the energy of band that was on tour for the first time.

“It’s great to be back in the Lone Star State,” Jagger told the packed stadium, filled with longtime fans, many wearing faded concert shirts from previous tours.

Jagger often strutted up and down the stage with seemingly boundless energy while Richards and Wood played many familiar guitar riffs beloved by fans. Jagger often led the audience in sing-alongs.

“The energy level is up and it’s always up with them. The age doesn’t show,” Dale Skjerseth, the Stones’ production director, said Friday before the concert.

The Stones have hit the road to support the release of their latest album, “Hackney Diamonds,” the band’s first record of original music since 2005.

Houston was the first stop on the band’s 16-city tour across the U.S. and Canada. Other cities on the tour include New Orleans, Philadelphia and Vancouver, British Columbia. The tour ends on July 17 in Santa Clara, California.

During Sunday’s 18-song concert set list, the Stones played several tracks off the new record, including lead single “Angry.” They also played classics including “Sympathy for the Devil,” “Gimme Shelter,” Honky Tonk Women” and “Start Me Up.”

After playing “Beast of Burden,” Jagger said that concertgoers in Houston had voted to include it on the set list.

“You can’t go wrong with that,” one man in the audience could be heard screaming.

The Stones also played some unexpected choices, including “Rocks Off,” from their 1972 double album “Exile on Main St.” and “Out of Time,” a 1966 song that Jagger said during the concert had not ever been played by the band in the U.S.

With the 2021 death of drummer Charlie Watts , the Stones are now comprised of the core trio of Jagger, Richards and Wood. On Sunday, they were backed by various musicians including two keyboardists, a new drummer, backup singers and a brass section.

While the stage was surrounded by a large collection of video screens projecting images throughout the show, the main focus of the concert was the band and their songs

Before Sunday’s concert, Jagger spent time on Friday touring NASA’s Johnson Space Center in suburban Houston, posting photos on his Instagram account of him with astronauts inside Mission Control.

“I had an amazing trip to the space center,” Jagger said.

When asked if the band might be thinking about retiring, Skjerseth said he doubts that will happen.

“This is not the end. They’re very enthused,” he said.

This story has been updated to correct a song title to “Gimme Shelter,” not “Gimmer Shelter.”
