MR. MAFAT PATEL origins from a small village (Bhandu) in India and with just a dream to go abroad, landed in the United States (land of opportunities) in the year 1968 for his higher studies. After the education, he started his career as quality control engineer at Jefferson Electrical Company.

During his student days and as a fresh engineer, he has seen the food struggle of Indians residing in America, especially for the vegetarians. His struggle empowered him to start the Indian food business to enable the local Indians to enjoy the home food despite being away from home and this is the story of the birth of "Patel Brothers" today's largest Indian grocery chain in the United States of America.

Mr. Mafat Patel is a man of many traits and his passion for travel prompted him to venture into the business of travel which in-turn lead to the birth of Air Tours.
