With renovations complete and the family officially moved in on the show,  1000-Lb. Sisters   fans really want a tour of Amy Halterman’s new Kentucky home. What do we know about Amy Halterman’s new home?

Fans watched Amy and Michael Halterman pack and move into their new home after spending a significant amount of time renovating it. Moving to a much bigger space, the family quickly realized they don’t really have enough furniture to fit the space. Chris Combs was kind enough to donate his old kitchen table to his sister. He revealed it was the kitchen table from their childhood. And, his wife was ready for something that was a little more her style. So, he decided to save his sister some money and give her the table. Chris Combs also liked this idea because it meant the table would stay in the family.

The kitchen of Amy Halterman’s new home has wooden upper and lower cabinets. The cabinets match most of the interior of the home which is also wooden.

This three-bedroom home offers the opportunity for Gage to have his own room. Fans assume the third room will be a nursery for the baby Amy is currently pregnant with.

During the show, Amy Halterman revealed the home has a backyard. So, Gage will have plenty of space to play. She added there was a park right down the street from her home too.

Amy and Michael Halterman’s new home is just 30 minutes away from her previous home. So, she can still visit with her sister Tammy. But, she’s not so close that she can be at her sister’s beck and call anymore.

After searching for 3 years I am finding no 3 bedrooms for 37,0000. Lowest no frills about 250-300,000 in Tennessee. Wonder how she did it?

Hope she takes pride in her new home. As i was watching them packing for the new house i was wondering how many mice are they taking?I was very surprised on the state of her last house.I thought she was cleaner then that.Tammy’s place was in better condition. Maybe she gets help.Anyway a new start! I hope.

I like Amy’s house, those houses are cheaper back there must be manufactured. Good luck Amy and Gage and Michael

I’m so happy for Amy and very proud of her and happy to see that there’s no way for her to help Tammy any more because Tammy won’t help herself. Amy has done everything she can and has gone way beyond the call of duty to help Tammy but all her sister does is manipulate, take advantage, and is verbally and emotionally abusive to Amy and the rest of the family…she’s burned all the bridges behind her, so yeah it’s time to let go. Tammy has gotten herself into the situation she’s in and she’s the only one who can fix it. Obviously she’ll have to be a ward of the state and hopefully they can do something with her…I don’t feel the least bit sorry for Tammy and she needs to stop playing the victim. If anyone is a victim it’s Amy due to Tammy’s cruel, mean, and abusive behavior. Don’t feel guilty Amy…enjoy your new home with Gage and hubby…I’m VERY PROUD OF YOU!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You are so right. It’s time for Amy to live her own life with her little family♥️🦋

Does anyone ever get sick and tired of the family trying to figure out what to do about Tammy when Tammy doesn’t do fiddly squat for herself?!!

Oh lordy, please buy you a new mattress. Heck just go buy the whole bed frame & all. I would never let anyone see my mattress if it looked like that!!!

Amen! That was beyond filthy! Then they drug it through mud and put it right back on the bed. Do people really live like that?

Oh I said the same thing that was a mess

Congratulations 🎊. I was just wondering why even though all them sisters had weight loss surgery. Why are they all still so big. Minus tammy. Ya’ll have to let her be and realize she doesn’t want help. Let her eat herself to death if that’s what she wants. Leave her alone! Oh and I hope you keep a cleaner house than you did your apartment.

You all need to let up on the cleanliness of Amy and her damn mattress! Your not sleeping on it! I’m sure if you lived the lives these kids did ( and many more in this country) your house may look worse. At least she is trying to better herself. Let her alone and quit watching if your so bothered by it!

1,000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton has dropped $37K on a new Kentucky home, The Sun can exclusively report.

Amy decided to leave her sister, Tammy, to start her new life with her husband Michael and their one-year-old son, Gage.

Take a look inside 1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton's new Kentucky home

The Sun can exclusively reveal the three-bedroom, one-bath home was listed for $37K in July of last year.

Only a 30-minute drive away from Amy's old home, the single-story, 1,584-square-foot house was built in 1960, and has a dark red brick exterior with white trimming.

The modest home includes three bedrooms with wooden doors and floors.

The kitchen includes a sink, stove, and wooden cabinets, while the one bathroom also includes a shower and a bathtub.

There is a backyard with a single tree where little Gage can run around and play.

When Amy , 34, broke the news to Tammy , 35, that she's moving soon, Amy said: "I just made an offer on a house and they accepted it."

Tammy replied: "Okay. Whatever."

Amy said the house is in their hometown and is right next to a park.

Amy continued: "Gage has his own room. He doesn't have to sleep in the kitchen.

"And it has a big a** dining room. I want to get a family picnic table we can put in there."

Tammy said she wanted her sister to "go for it."

When Amy asked if Tammy "would be alright on her own," Tammy responded, "We'll find out."

In a confessional, Amy said: "Tammy would never admit it, but she wants me to stick around because she's afraid of being alone.

"Last time she was alone by herself, she ended up with ammonia and ended up on life support.

"But I still gotta do what's right for my family. Gage comes before Tammy, I'm sorry."

'RAY OF LIGHT'

Fans poured into the TLC Instagram page to comment on the drama.

One wrote: "Amy is such a ray of light. She's focused and determined but Tammy keeps making excuses and you can see she's jealous of her sister."

Another commented: "Tammy's thinking, 'Now who the hell is going to take care of me.'"

A third posted: "Amy feels bad for leaving Tammy alone but she needs to live her life for her and her family."

Yet a fourth encouraged Amy: "You must think of your family, and you must not feel guilty towards Tammy, she's had plenty of opportunities. It's Amy time now."

A fifth said: "I feel sorry for Tammy but Amy has to live her life. Hopefully, that motivates Tammy to get herself together."

'NOT TOO CLEAN'

Fans ripped Amy after she showed off her "not clean" mattress during a recent episode, moving the stained bed from her filthy old house into her new one.

Earlier this season, the  TLC star  invited cleaners into her home, revealing to fans that she struggles with hoarding.

During Monday's show, Amy invited fans along as she and Michael moved from the duplex next door to sister Tammy Slaton into their new, remodeled home.

Amy got emotional during the process, noting the many memories she, Michael, and even Tammy shared in the house.

She recalled getting ready for her wedding in the house and bringing home Gage, her first child.

Fans couldn't focus on the emotional aspect, however, as many were distracted by the mess.

Amy and Michael's mattress, in particular, caught viewers' eyes.

The mattress had an off-white sheet on it that was covered in brown stains on the sides and top.

Amy and Michael moved the mattress with the sheet on it, loading it into a truck and placing it in the house as-is.

Fans were stunned, with one writing: "@TLC made sure we got every angle of that mattress."

One Twitter user wrote: "Me watching them drag this already 'not too clean' mattress on the ground," with a gif of someone looking disappointed.

Another commented: "If the mattress is there for ratings, it's definitely working."

A third Twitter user slammed Amy, saying: "After seeing that mattress, Amy's new house is gon' be just as nasty as the 1st."

Another viewer joked: "what's worse Tammy's attitude or that mattress."

"Amy I will buy you a new mattress and sectional and I mean that please find a way to get in contact with me I got it," someone else offered.

'STAY SAFE'

Tammy shared new selfies just days after the reality star posted from her hospital bed as fans continued to worry about her well-being.

In the first snap, the  1,000-lb Sisters  star had a tube attached to her neck.

Tammy had her hand placed on top of her black wardrobe and her long hair was combed and pulled straight back.

In the next snap, Tammy loosened up her hair and curled up her strands.

Fans jumped to the comments section and hoped Tammy was feeling better with her new look.

One fan said: "Be safe," as another added, "Beautiful. Stay strong."

A third fan mentioned: "Cute... love your hair," while one chimed in, "You look great Tammy."

Recently, Tammy left fans much worried about  her well-being.

The TV star shared a series of Instagram  posts  from what appeared to be a hospital bed.

In one post, she seemed to be hooked up to the machines in the hospital room.

1000-Lb. Sisters: Amy Slaton shares details on her new home and if she will return to the show

TLC's 1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton

1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton has opened up about moving into her new house with her husband, Michael, and son, Gage.

The youngest member of the Slaton family recently purchased a home and shared the accomplishment with fans during Season 3 of the hit show.

Amy’s new home is perfect for her family

Amy and Michael purchased their 1,584 square-foot home in Morganfield, KY for $37,000. Fans may remember seeing them finding the house early in Season 3. Amy said, “We were driving around one day, and we saw the sign and we’re like, ‘that’s our sign, we need to move.’”

At that time, Amy said her son, Gage, “was sleeping in the kitchen and I wanted him to have his own room. I knew we were going to have another kid, so I made sure we had enough room for both of them.”

Before moving in, the couple did some renovations on their home. They replaced the flooring, did some updates to the kitchen and painted the rooms for their children.

Prior to moving, Amy lived next door to her sister, Tammy, in a four-bedroom duplex. The choice to live there was mainly so that she could be close by to help care for Tammy. However, when she decided to expand her family, she felt it was best to get a bigger place.

Amy has been vocal about being on a different path from Tammy and not wanting to stop her life to care for her sister. Moving was not an easy choice, but she felt it was the best thing for her marriage and children.

Although she is currently in rehab located in Ohio, the duplex is still Tammy’s main residence.

The future of 1000-Lb. Sisters is unclear

After an emotional Season 3, the status of the show is still unclear. TLC has yet to make a decision on if the show will continue for another season.

Not only is Tammy in rehab , which could last up to a year, but Amy is not convinced that she wants to return to the show. She feels that the filming schedule is a lot for her right now since she is pregnant .

She stated, “If they cut down my hours, I’ll probably be fine. I like the crew most, but filming can be stressful. You’re there all day and you have to say stuff over and over again. I love the relationships with the crew, but it’s stressful right now.”

Currently, no one else from the family has made any comments on their feelings about the show being renewed. The sisters’ older siblings, Chris and Amanda became breakout stars during Season 3, and fans are hopeful to see them on screen again. An announcement from TLC is highly anticipated.

1000-Lb. Sisters is on hiatus but can be streamed on Discovery+.

Tammy & Amy Grew Up In Kentucky

Both Amy and Tammy grew up in the small rural town of Dixon, Kentucky. The population sits at less than 1,000, and it is considered a rural class area with farms. Dixon is in Webster County, and while it may be small, the town has a post office and its own courthouse. 1000-lb Sisters stars Tammy and Amy attended high school and often left Dixon on drives to and from Madisonville, a bigger city in Kentucky, for stores. For history buffs, The Battle of Burnt Mill took place in 1861, with the town being home to a few Civil War fights (via Kentucky Tourism ).

Tammy & Amy Haven't Left Their Small Town

As shown on 1000-lb Sisters , Tammy and Amy used to live right next to one another in a Dixon duplex. At the time, the move was meant to help Tammy with her multiple health issues. The home consisted of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. As of July 2021, Amy bought her own home for $37,000 with her husband, Michael Halterman . As for Tammy, she is still living in the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. The 36-year-old also bought a home in Dixon, which was recently robbed.

Now, on 1000-lb Sisters season 4, Amy is sharing how hard it is to be a mother of two, while Tammy learned she just made her goal weight to qualify for surgery. Tammy also recently got married while in the rehab center to her now-husband, Caleb Willingham. She can't wait to bring him home to Dixon for a grand tour soon.

‘1,000-Lb. Sisters’: Tammy Says Amy’s Hit ‘Rock Bottom’ Amid Fight With Amanda

This week on “ 1,000-Lb. Sisters ” there was a major fight between Amy and Amanda Slaton!

The episode picked up with Amanda Slaton, who left dinner to get Amy Slaton ’s kids back to the house. Amanda and her brother Chris are concerned about how Amy’s been acting since her split from Michael Halterman.

The family decided to move past the dinner drama and go on a boat trip together. Tammy Slaton was excited about the new milestone, especially since she hasn’t always fared well in the water.

While the siblings are all trying to have fun on the getaway, Tammy is missing her husband Caleb Willingham . She called him up and they were both let down that he couldn’t make it due to health concerns.

Caleb is facing major issues since Tammy visited him. He admitted he is not doing well ever since she left and his eating has spiraled out of control.

The Slatons all got together for a family dinner, and Tammy reflected about having Amy’s kids with them, saying kids sometimes can make a trip a bit more stressful. Things quickly escalated after dinner, when Amy and Tammy began to argue about how to get Glenn to sleep.

Amy broke down and was yelling, saying she wants to go home, which set off her siblings. Things got so intense that Amy got physical with Amanda!

Amanda walked away to try to calm things down, but she was shocked at her sister’s actions. Amy ended up realizing what she did was wrong and broke down in tears apologizing.

“1,000-Lb. Sisters” airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on TLC .

A new season of 1,000-Lb. Sisters is almost here, and big changes are coming for stars Tammy and Amy Slaton .

In ET's exclusive first look at the dramatic new season, Tammy is getting out of rehab after a long 14-month stay, but the good news of her departure is met with some personal emotional chaos.

Tammy's husband, Caleb Willingham, is told he has not yet been cleared to leave, as he is struggling to maintain his weight loss achievements, and Tammy says she's scared to see what might happen if he goes without him.

"I can't imagine walking out of this place without my husband," Tammy says, "But I lost almost 300 pounds, I'm ready to conquer the world!"

Her joyful reunion with her sister is seemingly short-lived, however, as Amy is struggling with her own problems, including raising two children -- Gage, 3, and Glenn, 1 -- while getting little help from her husband, Michael Halterman.

"I am very overwhelmed and stressed out, and Michael ain't doing s**t. Every aspect of my life is chaotic because I don't have no support," Amy laments through tears. "I feel like I'm at my breaking point."

Meanwhile, Tammy's concern for her husband's health is made worse when he reveals to her during a phone call that he's put on more weight.

"It bothers me that he's backsliding," Tammy emotionally admits. "I don't know if he has the strength to do this on his own."

As the trailer comes to a close, Tammy prophetically states, "I didn’t know, coming home, the world was going to fall apart."

Unfortunately, Caleb died in July , shortly after the scenes featured in the first-look trailer were filmed. He was 40. No cause of death has officially been announced.

Tammy and Caleb met in 2022 while at a weight loss center in Ohio. They got engaged just weeks after meeting.

The new season of 1000-Lb. Sisters premieres Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.

TLC reality series 1000-Lb. Sisters has been a fan favorite since sisters Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton first appeared on television screens in January 2020.

Both Tammy and Amy have had their fair share of ups and downs. From weight concerns to family issues, the pair have gone through both hard times and inspiring personal development in front of the world's eyes.

Ahead of the series premiere in 2020, the Kentucky sisters opened up to PEOPLE about their experiences filming season 1 of the show. Tammy and Amy, who had been "trying to lose weight since middle school, but nothing worked," according to Amy, told PEOPLE that they were "happier and healthier" since ending filming.

"I can go to the store and not worry about my looks because I feel good about myself regardless of what other people say about me," Amy said at the time. "I'm beautiful the way I am."

Tammy commented, "I don't feel like I have to wear a mask or hide my body when I leave the house anymore. I'm not afraid to let people see me."

Now in its fifth season, 1000-Lb. Sisters has chronicled many personal milestones for the sisters, including Amy's 2019 wedding to Michael Halterman and the birth of her two children, as well as Tammy's 2022 engagement to her late husband, Caleb Willingham.

Amy and Halterman have since split. He filed for divorce in March 2023. And a few months later, Tammy confirmed Willingham's death at age 40.

From weight loss surgeries to marriages and parenthood, here are all the ups and downs of 1000-Lb. Sisters ' Tammy and Amy Slaton.

2017: Amy marries Michael Halterman

Before cameras started capturing the Slaton sisters' lives, Amy eloped with then-husband Michael Halterman in 2017.

However, the pair opted to have another wedding in 2019, which was documented on season 1 of the show. In one episode, Amy prepared to try on a wedding dress she ordered online after unsuccessfully shopping in stores.

"I'm really scared to try on this wedding dress right now," she said in the clip. "The other day I went wedding-dress shopping, and it was kind of discouraging that none of the dresses fit me. So I decided to order a wedding dress online, but I'm scared, because you don't even know if it's going to fit you."

She continued, "And if it does fit, is it going to look good on me?"

2019: Amy qualifies for weight loss surgery, but Tammy does not

In the dramatic season 1 finale of 1000-Lb. Sisters , which aired in 2020, it was revealed that Amy qualified for weight loss surgery — but Tammy didn't.

"This was our final weigh in and I got approved so my surgery's in two days, but Tammy didn't get approved," said Amy, who weighed 406 lbs. at the start of the TLC docuseries.

"Now that I'm approved and she's not, I feel like she's kind of upset with me about it. Most of the time I feel like I'm walking on eggshells around Tammy. You never know what's going to set her off and after this appointment with Dr. Procter, she's a ticking time bomb," she added.

After the sisters left the doctor's office, tension boiled over as they got into a heated row about Tammy's weight.

"I think Tammy is trying to find a [scape] goat," Amy said in a confessional. "If she's going to be successful in this, she's gonna have to learn to take blame for herself and quit pawning it off on me."

2020: Amy gets pregnant with her first baby

Amy's pregnancy journey in 2020 was documented on season 2 of 1000-Lb. Sisters . However, in a January 2021 episode, Tammy admitted that her sister Amy's pregnancy was a surprise that left her feeling "all sorts of things."

She explained, "I was mad and sad and worried about her health and safety since it was so soon after her [weight-loss] surgery." Though she later added, "I'm happy she got pregnant because it was the one thing she most wanted in life."

Throughout the season, Tammy, along with their brother Chris, confronted Amy about her eating habits since getting pregnant. "Amy, you done worked this hard to get the surgery. We need to get you back to where you need to be on your diet," Chris told her.

"Cause you know you ain't been eating right, because of the baby," Tammy said, before telling her brother that Amy "wants to use [the baby] as a crutch."

Amy's first child, a son named Gage Deon Halterman , was born on Nov. 10, 2020, via caesarean section. In a confessional, the new mother called the birth "emotional." She shared, "You can't really talk about [it] because you just love him so much you don't have words to explain how much you love him."

"Yeah, I made this little ball of joy," Amy added with a laugh.

2020: Tammy comes out as pansexual

While dining at a restaurant with her then-boyfriend Jerry, sister Amy, and Amy's now ex-husband Michael, Tammy opened up about her sexuality on a Feb. 15, 2021, episode.

"It means love is love," she explained to Jerry after revealing that she is pansexual. "I would date anybody whether they're transgender, straight, gay."

Jerry was initially confused, and asked if that meant she would date a transgender man.

"Yeah. Or girl. It's about how they make me feel, not how they look," Tammy explained.

Early 2021: Tammy leaves rehab early and gains 15 lbs.

In a December 2021 episode, it was revealed that Tammy had gained 15 lbs. after leaving a food addiction rehab center earlier than planned.

"Tammy's not doing what she needs to do," Chris said during an episode of the show. "She's in a relationship with a dude that's not got Tammy's best interest at heart."

Tammy noted that she was 624 lbs. the last time she went for a weigh-in — and was hoping she lost even more weight to get closer to her 550-lb. goal.

However, the scale read 639 lbs.

"I gained weight back," she explained. "I'm not happy about it. I hate it. I hate it."

Chris was frustrated with Tammy's lack of dedication, saying, "This s---'s unbelievable. Tammy gained about 15 lbs. than what it was three weeks ago, so it sucks. She's pissing precious time away that she really ain't got."

2021: Tammy is put in a medically-induced coma after "her lungs had given up"

Tammy re-entered the Ohio food addiction rehab facility in a January 2022 episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters — however, just one day after returning to the program she was sent to the hospital after she had "taken a turn for the worse," according to her brother Chris.

"They're just telling us that her lungs have given up, and like her body is shutting down," added her sister Amanda. "So at this point, you know, we're facing making funeral arrangements for my little sister."

While at the hospital, Tammy was put on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma. Doctors later gave her a tracheotomy and Tammy returned to rehab after a three-week hospital stay.

After 30 days in rehab, it was revealed that Tammy had shed 115 lbs . Amy was also thrilled that the program was working for her sister.

"I'm glad Tammy is finally getting the help she needs," Amy told PEOPLE at the time. "I just wanted the best for all my siblings."

Late 2021: Amy disappoints her doctor as her weight loss stalls

11 months after Amy's son Gage was born, she visited her doctor and surgeon, Dr. Charles Procter, Jr., for a check-up on her progress. However, she admitted that Procter would be disappointed in her after her weight loss became a lower priority due to motherhood.

"I'm kind of nervous, because I don't think I am where I'm supposed to be in my weight loss goal," she said in a clip. "I avoid the scale because then I'm focused on the number going down. And if I see it going up, it's going to make me depressed and wanna eat more. So it's best not to look at it."

Early 2022: Tammy is hospitalized again after she "quit breathing"

During season 4 of 1000-Lb. Sisters , which premiered in 2023, Tammy was rushed to the hospital after she "quit breathing" and "her body shut down," according to sister Amy.

Tammy was yet again given a tracheotomy to ensure that doctors could give her emergency breathing support at any time. Despite the health scare, she boasted, "I'm still here, b-----s!"

Early 2022: Tammy learns that she weighs 717 lbs.

Also during season 4, Tammy learned that she weighed nearly 720 lbs.

"Two months ago I decided to go back to rehab. I weighed the most I've ever weighed," she said, followed by a clip of her standing on a scale while her doctor told her she's 717 lbs.

"I just don't feel good," she said tearfully.

April 2022: Amy's dog Little Bit dies

In April 2022, Amy confirmed that her beloved chihuahua Little Bit had died at 22 years old.

"Rip little bit. I love you so much. 2000-2022" she captioned an Instagram photo of her late dog.

July 2022: Amy welcomes her second baby

On July 5, 2022, Amy gave birth to her second baby — a boy named Glenn Allen Halterman.

"The wait is finally over ... Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman," she told PEOPLE at the time. "The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!"

Summer 2022: Tammy reaches goal weight for weight-loss surgery

Tammy eventually shed over 180 lbs. since re-entering rehab, meaning she was at the weight required to safely go ahead with weight-loss surgery .

"I need to get to 550 lbs. for me to be approved for surgery," Tammy explained in a February 2023 episode. "Until then, I hate getting on a scale. My worst fear is gaining weight. I don't want to disappoint my family or myself."

At a check-up, Tammy stepped on the scale and the doctor revealed she was at 534 lbs.

"B---- are you serious," her sister Amanda said with a smile. "For real? Tammy, you see that!"

"When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second," Tammy said. "I'm like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that's a huge drop."

"I did that!" she added. "I'm feeling thrilled, proud, excited — just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!"

Summer 2022: Tammy prepares for her first weight-loss surgery

After reaching the required target weight, Tammy underwent her first bariatric surgery in the summer of 2022.

An emotional clip from season 4 showed Tammy's family cheering her on as she exited the hospital in a wheelchair.

"They had a poster for me to read that everybody wrote a little something on there to celebrate me. I mean, b-----s this is about me at the end of the day because I'm queen," Tammy laughed.

"I really do appreciate everybody coming. I needed them. I needed to know that they love me no matter what," she said before starting to cry. "I needed to know that they're here for me. They love me. That's one of the biggest things to help push me through to get to where I am now."

October 2022: Tammy gets engaged to Caleb Willingham

In a March 2023 episode, Tammy was left speechless after getting engaged to boyfriend Caleb Willingham. The couple first met at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio.

"So today I decided I'd set up a little something for Tammy," Caleb said of the October 2022 engagement. "I'm rounding everyone up — our friends, even the staff — and at this point she knows something's up because why is she in the parking lot? She starts shaking a little bit and turning red and doing everything that's absolutely adorable to me about her."

In the 1000-Lb. Sisters clip, Caleb proposed to Tammy outside of the rehab facility as their friends watched and cheered for the couple."So it's just been a short time but I know without a doubt you are the most beautiful amazing wonderful person I've ever known," he said. "Will you marry me?"

"You did shake your head yes, but she was speechless," Caleb told Tammy in a confessional."For once," Tammy replied with a smile.

"We're engaged! I know it's only been three weeks but I've never felt this way about anybody," she added. "The last two relationships I was never this happy."

November 2022: Tammy marries Caleb Willingham

A month after getting engaged, Tammy and Willingham got married in a small ceremony at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center.

"I was so nervous sitting in the chair, getting my hair done and my make up done, seeing my family all dressed for my wedding," she told PEOPLE of her wedding day . "My brother pushing me down the aisle, seeing all my friends and family just looking their best. And then, seeing my husband and seeing how handsome he looked. It stopped my heart."

She continued, "And then the ceremony! Awesome! Everything! The vows my husband said. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Then the kiss sealed the deal — that was my husband!"

‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton Once Admitted to Being a ‘Hoarder’: Messy House Photos

Octomom Nadya Suleman Children

Bless this mess? 1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton previously got backlash from her haters who called her out for her dirty and unkempt house . However, it seems Amy’s housekeeping and cleaning skills have not improved, especially after becoming a single mom of two sons, Gage and Glenn , following her split from Michael Halterman .

In a TikTok posted in May 2023, the TLC personality showed off her son Gage’s new toys. However, viewers couldn’t help but point out the mess in the background.

Inside 1000-Lb. Sisters' Amy Slaton, Michael Halterman's Divorce: Details On Their Separation

“The new age mom don’t clean,” one user wrote. Meanwhile, another added, “Cute kids but please pick up the trash off the floor.”

In the past, the mom of two admitted to being a “hoarder” as she had trouble throwing stuff away. “Years of generations taught me that way. My grandma was a hoarder, my mom’s a hoarder,” she addressed during a December 2021 episode of the series. “I know what it’s like coming from a hoarder house, where you barely had a snake line to get through the house.”

The Kentucky native, who originally found fame on YouTube, also opened up about the bullying she’s faced on the internet for her messy home.

“In the past, in my YouTube channels, a cockroach was in my video, and then the fans and haters seen it,” she said in a teary confessional, as a cockroach crawled up the wall behind her. “People were hating on me so much that it just broke me.”

The reality TV personality cried as she felt like a “bad mom” for having mice and cockroaches in her home.

“Everyone does,” her then-husband defended her. “We’re having to struggle because we’ve had to take care of him [Gage], and it’s tough.”

While Michael previously had Amy’s back, In Touch previously confirmed that the mill operator filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy on March 13. Their separation date was listed as February 24, according to documents obtained by In Touch .

The split seemingly got messy as at the time, Michael requested a  civil restraining order, which would require them to stay more than 500 feet from each other. It also prevented the exes from making public statements or social media posts about their divorce. Any communication between the former flames was required to go through a court-approved application.

1000-Lb Sisters ' Amy Slaton Breaks Down in Tears During Family Vacation

In the jan. 23 episode of 1000-lb sisters , fans saw how amy slaton had a hard time during the family trip to florida..

Amy Slaton 's beach vacation wasn't all fun in the sun.

During the Jan. 23 episode of 1000-Lb Sisters , fans saw how the reality star had a hard time on her and her family's trip to Florida.

Amy's brother Chris sat down with the 36-year-old—who split from her husband Michael Halterman last March—before the getaway and expressed how he was concerned for her after speaking to their sister  Tammy .

"Amy has a lot more going on than what she's willing to admit," he said during a confessional. "I know from Tammy that she's not taking care of her physical or mental health. I think Amy needs to get some help for all the emotional stuff she's going through. But I'm afraid that if I tell it to her straight, she will shut down."

The journey from Kentucky to Florida didn't make things much better. While Tammy, Chris, his wife Brittany  and sisters  Misty and Amanda all flew in what was  Tammy's first plane ride , Amy drove with her young sons Glenn and Gage as well as with nephew Justin .

And after a long drive and getting in late, Amy was exhausted. Still, she and her family continued with their plans to go to the beach the next day. But when Amy's sons started crying while she was packing up the car, she broke down in tears.

"I'm hurting and the boy are not cooperating," she told Chris through tears. "Hopefully, they will calm down. If not, I'm going home. I ain't playing."

And while her family members tried to comfort her and the boys, Amy wasn't optimistic about the rest of the vacation.

"My nerves are shot. The boys' nerves is shot, which is making mine worse," she told Justin. "I knew this trip was gonna be like this."

Ultimately, the family made it to the beach, and Amy seemed to have a good time playing in the ocean with her kids.

"It is great to have the whole family here enjoying each other's company," she said before later reflecting on her and her siblings' weight loss journeys . "The boys are calm, I'm calm. We're just having fun. It wouldn't have been possible if we didn't do all this work and get all these surgeries."

But when Gage started crying upon the family's arrival at a restaurant for dinner, Amy again felt overwhelmed. "I'm so stressed out," she cried, "I'm about to go into [a] panic attack."

In the end, Amanda decided to take Gage back to their vacation house to get some rest, and Amy and Glenn joined them. After they left, her family members continued to express their concern.

"I'm not trying to be heartless. I do care, and I understand Amy's overwhelmed, stressed all the above," Tammy said. "But we tiptoe around Amy or walk on eggshells around Amy because she's always on edge for no reason."

1000-Lb Sisters: Queen Tammy Slaton Got Kicked Out Her House (All The Drama Explained)

  • Tammy Slaton faced challenges in her personal life, including the death of her husband and a fight with her sister Amanda, resulting in her being kicked out of her rental property.
  • After being forced out, Tammy moved in with her brother Chris Combs and his family, adding chaos to their household.
  • The chaotic personal lives of Amy and Tammy have provided plenty of material for the producers of 1000-Lb Sisters season 5.

1000-Lb Sisters is back, and Tammy Slaton has caused a stir with her housing situation. As of December 2023, 1000-Lb Sisters season 5 has returned amid a challenging year for Tammy and her sister, Amy Slaton. Amy and her former husband, Michael Halterman, split up for good. Caleb Willingham passed away unexpectedly , and Tammy returned home to Kentucky. Unfortunately, things weren't smooth sailing amidst her grief. Tammy was arrested for drug possession just five days after Caleb's funeral.

With so much going on in Tammy and Amy's personal lives, there was ample anticipation for 1000-Lb Sisters season 5. The previous season saw Tammy losing over 300 pounds and marrying Caleb. Meanwhile, Amy dealt with life as a woman with two children and a marriage on the edge. Between seasons, the two women's lives fell apart. Unfortunately, Tammy hit another bump in the road with her housing situation.

Amanda Halterman Forced Tammy Slaton Out

According to the US Sun , Amanda Halterman, another of Tammy's sisters, owned the rental property where Tammy was staying and kicked her out. The pair had found intensely throughout the past few months, including at Caleb's funeral. One of Tammy's friends quoted the article as saying, " She was renting it from her sister, Amanda... and they just do not get along at all. They fight worse than cats and dogs. " While it's unknown exactly what the fight was about, the pair have had intense arguments, both on and offscreen, over the years.

Tammy Slaton Moved In With Brother Chris Combs

After getting kicked out by her sister, Tammy moved in with her brother, Chris Combs . The 1000-Lb Sisters star lives approximately 38 miles from Tammy's previous home in Sturgis, Kentucky. The house is equally modest, and Tammy allegedly moved in with Chris around November 2023. Chris and his wife, Brittany, welcomed a baby in August 2023, so adding Tammy to the household has likely been chaotic. Chris is often seen as a fan-favorite and has undergone a weight loss transformation.

Amy and Tammy have had chaotic lives since filming for 1000-Lb Sisters part 1 wrapped. While the second half has been highly anticipated, there's much to address onscreen. Apart from the death of Tammy's husband, Amy's separation, and Tammy's drug possession, Tammy is in a different home due to yet another fight with Amanda. Regardless of how much is seen onscreen, the 1000-Lb Sisters gave producers enough material to work with.
