The Wanderlands tour was perfect! :) Everything was really well organized and we saw and experienced so much in the two weeks. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go to Bali and wants to have a great time :) My group leader Stacia is also such a great person and I felt really comfortable doing this tour with her. She looked after everyone and was there for everyone. She is very attentive and notices when someone is not feeling well. I wish Stacia only the best and hope that with good luck we will see each other again sometime, somewhere!! ☺️

All we had to do was turn up at the time they told us and they sorted everything out for us! The activities and places we saw were so incredible, it was truely was a bucket list tour! Ali, our tour guide, really went above and beyond. He was so incredible! It was an incredible experience. Hendri is an amazing tour guide that made it such an amazing time and I'm so grateful for the brilliant job he does. He is such a genuinely kind person and really good at bringing out the best in everyone, making sure everyone is having a fun time. He legit took care of every detail and was so organised so that we could all have the best holiday and not have to worry about anything. It was clear everyone he crossed paths thought really highly of him and he made such an effort to show kindness have positive relationships with all the locals we met along the way. Some of the experiences you do on intro travel are really memories for life - things like meeting the most beautiful family in a local village and exploring the ocean looking for dolphins and sea turtles and exploring rice fields. Highly recommend :)

Classic Bali Tour

Classic Bali

This tour was phenomenal. The itinerary was great - we got to see a lot and experience Balinese culture without it feeling rushed. Trying to pick the highlight of the trip is hard - the Jatiluwih rice terraces were beautiful, the views of Mt. Batur from our hotel room were fantastic, and the dinners as a group were never short of phenomenal - but our guide, Vera, truly made the experience unforgettable. She went out of our way to add to our trip with extra optional activities, group dinners, and being an amazing photographer. She’s an absolute gem of a person, and an amazing, knowledgeable, and compassionate guide. Thank you G Adventures for a wonderful trip!

Classic Bali & Lombok Tour

Classic Bali & Lombok

The trip to Bali and Lombok was the best choice I could have made for taking away memories that will always be a part of me. The tour was so well planned for people who travel to see the culture and experience the daily life of the people. Our guide Andri Agassi became a friend, mentor and was always there for our well being at all times. He is intelligent, patient, and a lot of fun. I give Andri the highest rating because he made our tour the best of G Adventures.

This was my first tour with Intrepid, and it won't be my last. What an absolutely incredible experience. We saw so many cool things, from waterfalls to beaches to volcanoes, not to mention all the awsome people we met along the way. I can't recommend this tour enough. You'll stay in some really awesome places that are a bit off-the-beaten path, and you'll learn a ton. Seriously, do this tour!

7 Days Bali and Gili Islands Epic Experience

What a wonderful way to explore Bali and its culture from monkey forest, rice terraces to tasting coffee and local fruits. Still not a Durian fan but fun watching the group tasting and react to it. The snorkeling in Gili was crazy. Hand feeding turtles while snorkeling is something you won’t forget and the white beaches and colorful fish make this the best place I have ever snorkeled. The Hotels and staff was amazing at every place we stayed but I need to give special thanks to our guide Yustus…. he was professional , organized, knowledgeable and just fun to hang with. Our driver Pepen was like our 2nd tour guide always helping out. This was a stress free trip because of the way they worked together

Bali Bucket List Boutique 10 Day Tour Tour

Bali Bucket List Boutique 10 Day Tour

I cannot express how well put together this tour is! From the minute I arrived in Bali, someone was waiting for me to help me through immigration which avoided all queues, then my driver Made was waiting for me, he was so lovely! On arriving at the first hotel, (which was amazing), I was greeted with a welcome drink and the lovely hotel staff. I travelled on my own, and this was my first solo tour, so I was anxious, but as soon as I arrived all of that went because I felt so looked after by everyone. I met the rest of the group the next day, as well as our tour guide Andy. Andy is the nicest, kindest man and couldn't do enough for us. He always went the extra mile for us, he was great fun! He really was the best guide! and really looked after us all. We all loved him! All of the hotels we stayed out were out of this world, and the staff, cleanliness, security was 100% up there! All of the drivers that took us to and from places/excursions were lovely, and all cars had air con which was so nice! The surfing was brilliant and the instructors always made sure we were good and safe in the water, they were a good laugh too! When we climbed Mount Batur we had a guide called Augus who was beyond lovely, and so attentive! he really looked after us. The whole tour was so well organised, and managed. The people/staff made it extra special, and it was so nice meeting so many different people along the way, they went from strangers to friends quickly. Which is the why I did a group tour, because I knew I'd meet new people. The owner of Bali Bucket List always made sure we were all good too, he has such a fantastic company! We honestly could not of asked for anything more! I would recommend this tour to anyone and wish I could do it all over again. Thank you to everyone at Bali Bucket List, We all had the best time of my lives!! I wish you did tours in other places!

Bali Tour & Tour Packages Reviews

I really soend very good time with onelife in bali very good experince and operators were profetional i was amaaaaazing trip
I is the 8 days Bali Tour and it was truly amazing. I had the best time in Bali and met wonderful people in our group. We‘ve been really close and had so much fun together. We learned a lot about Bali and the people here. My Highlight was our Snorkel Trip an the Trip to Diamont Beach. Zio is a really good and funny Tourguide. We had a lot of fun and everything was very well organized so there was nothing we had to worry about.
I was very happy during the trip, Bapo is a very nice man who helped us a lot, including during our stay after the Wanderlands trip. He was always very patient with us and has my greatest respect, even when we were sick, he called the doctor, looked after us, brought us food, checked on us regularly and bought us medicine. I can only recommend this trip.

Bali Tours & Holidays

Tourists with their guide at a temple in Bali

There are 17,000 islands in the Indonesian archipelago, but none shine brighter than Bali.

From the green slopes of Mt Batur to the Bintang bodegas on Seminyak’s main party strip, Bali is a volcano-dotted, beach-fringed paradise that’s serene and sensational by turns. But beyond the mega-resorts and yoga studios, you'll find the essence of Bali in the temples, out-of-the-way mountain towns, local markets and lazy fishing villages. Our Bali tours are about  diving the impossibly blue waters off Lovina, being welcomed into a Balinese family home , soaking in the Banja hot springs, or sipping smoothies in Ubud’s cafes . As always, when it comes to paradise, the hardest bit is choosing what to do first.

Learn more about Bali

Local culture.

Between the 12th and 20th centuries, Bali has often been treated as a pawn in the games of kings, rajahs and generals. More often than not, its fate has been closely tied to neighbouring Lombok with fierce battles between the two islands over the centuries as different rulers vied for regional dominance. This history of varied occupation can be seen in Bali today, with elements of Hinduism and Islam present in modern Balinese society. However, there is no historical animosity between the religions, or even between the islands of Lombok and Bali.

One of the defining moments in Bali’s history took place in the 16th century when the collapse of the Majapahit dynasty encouraged the spread of Islam from the surrounding states into the Javanese kingdom. Rather than live under Islamic rule, many Hindu elites chose to escape to Bali. These elites included many artists, dancers, musicians, actors and court-supported artisans, as well as some more artistically inclined priests. The result was an intense proliferation of cultural arts across Bali, no doubt inspired by rich Balinese folklore featuring epic battles of good and evil, gods and mortals. This reputation persists today, with many travellers falling in love with the island’s intricate temple carvings, dance performances, colourful sarongs and handicrafts.

When you combine a love of arts with world-class beaches and deliciously fiery sambals, it’s no surprise Bali’s tourism industry is soaring. It’s not unusual for someone to ask you whether this is your second, third or fourth visit to the island. Many locals rely on tourism to some extent, either by working as tour operators or running hotels, yoga studios, massage parlours, bars, cafes or restaurants.

The destination’s popularity with  Australians  means there’s a gradual cultural creep in larger cities like Seminyak, where Melbourne-style cafes and international clothing labels are particularly popular. If you escape the resorts and head further north from Denpasar, you’re more likely to encounter traditional warungs (eateries) and villages untouched by tourism sprawl.

One last word of advice: always watch where you put your feet. Locals will traditionally place small offerings on the footpaths outside their homes or businesses up to three times a day. 83.5% of the population identifies as Hindu and religion plays a large part in Balinese life. In fact, there is a small religious ceremony associated with just about every aspect of Balinese culture, whether it’s the beginning of a soccer game, celebrating the full moon or cleaning the house.

Food and drink

At first glance it might seem difficult to pinpoint Bali’s exact culinary identity. The mishmash of Indonesian and pan-Asian influences means you’re likely to come across menus that sometimes feel part Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Vietnamese. But no matter what you order, the food will always be fresh and bursting with flavour. Dishes are typically made fresh each day, with curries and pastes prepared by hand using traditional methods.

The most authentic food in Bali is usually found streetside at eateries called warungs. Warungs are common in every village and city, and a good place for a quick feed on a budget. Many will specialise in a small menu of popular local dishes.

Top foods to try in Bali

Babi guling:  This is slow cooking Balinese-style. A whole pig is stuffed with chilli, turmeric, ginger, galangal, shallots, garlic, coriander seeds and aromatic leaves and rotated over an open fire. This dish is commonly seen at celebrations.

Satay:  Sometimes spelt ‘sate’ on local menus, Indonesia is famous for its tasty meat skewers (usually chicken) cooked over hot coals and slathered in moreish peanut sauce.

Nasi campur:  Nasi campur feels like a bit of a buffet. Your plate typically comes with a scoop of nasi putih accompanied by small portions of a number of other dishes, including meats, vegetables, peanuts, eggs, and fried-shrimp krupuk.

Nasi goreng:  The old favourite among tertiary students is nothing like the local version. Nasi goreng, literally meaning "fried rice”, is a popular rice dish with pieces of meat and vegetables, and a fried egg added on top.

Sambal:  A fiery paste made using a chili base smashed with secondary ingredients like shrimp paste, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, shallot, scallion, palm sugar, lime juice, and rice vinegar.

Eating vegetarian in Bali

Going vegetarian is relatively easy in Bali as many dishes are already meat-free. Tofu and tempeh are also a standard part of the local diet. Key vegetarian dishes to look out for include nasi saur (rice flavoured with toasted coconut and accompanied by tofu, tempeh, vegetables and sometimes egg), urap (steamed vegetables mixed with grated coconut and spices), gado gado (tofu and tempeh mixed with steamed vegetables, boiled egg and peanut sauce) and sayur hijau (leafy green vegetables, usually kangkung – water spinach – flavoured with a tomato-chilli sauce).

The abundance of fresh fruits in Bali means you can buy fresh coconuts and juices (or fruity cocktails) almost anywhere you go. If you're looking for something with a bit more punch then you could order a Bintang, the national larger or maybe arak – a local liquor made from fermented rice and coconut palm flowers.

Festivals and events

Many festivals in the Balinese calendar revolve around religious and spiritual occasions marked by periods of prayer or silence, and followed by lots of festivities and feasting. Some festivals might be inconvenient for travellers, such as the Day of Silence, but they’re also a great opportunity to gain an insight into local life that many don’t get to see.

Multiple surf contests are held throughout the year at different times and in different places. Check with local surfing schools for up to date information.

Top festivals in Bali

Nyepi (Day of Silence):  Bali’s major Hindu festival, Nyepi, or the Day of Silence, celebrates the beginning of a new year and is marked by inactivity. Legends say that this is a strategy to convince evil spirits that Bali is uninhabited and therefore not worthy of visiting! Jokes on them. The day involves prayer, meditation and quiet reflection.

Bali Arts Festival:  For an island with a strong history of cultural arts, it’s no surprise the Bali Arts Festival has pride of place in the annual calendar. Based at the Taman Wedhi Budaya arts centre in Denpasar, travellers can see village-based dance groups competing for local pride across several traditional dance categories. The date changes each year but is typically held between mid-June to mid-July.

Bali Kite Festival:  From July to October, the skies of southern Bali fill with huge, colourful monsters, critters and imaginative creations. Scores of kites are launched by the locals as part of this special spiritual event. It is believed the kites urge the gods to provide abundant harvests.

Indonesian Independence Day:  Held on 17 August each year, this day celebrates Indonesia's independence from the Dutch in 1945. Expect to see legions of marching school children, flags, kites and fireworks. Don’t expect to get anywhere quickly either on the day or the days leading up to it.

Galungan and Kuningan:  Galungan celebrates the death of a legendary tyrant called Mayadenawa. The celebrations come to a head with the Kuningan festival, which is when the Balinese say thanks and goodbye to the gods. The exact dates of these two festivals vary as they are planned using the 210-day wuku (or Pawukon) calendar.

Geography and environment

Bali is undoubtedly Indonesia’s most popular province thanks to its abundance of beautiful beaches, leafy jungles and impressive mountains. Located just east of Java and west of Lombok, the Bali province includes not only the island of Bali but also a few of the smaller neighbouring islands, such as Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan.

Bali's highest mountain is Mt Agung (3,031 m, 9,944 ft), which is also known as the "Mother Mountain”. One of the other popular volcanoes on the island is Mt Batur. Both of these volcanoes have contributed to Bali’s incredibly fertile soil, which has allowed the rice crop trade to flourish.

Bali is located just 8 degrees south of the equator, which means it enjoys a fairly even climate year-round. The average year-round temperature hovers around 30°C (86°F), with a humidity level of about 85%. It's also surrounded by coral reefs and is part of the Coral Triangle, an area with the highest biodiversity of marine species. Over 500 reef-building coral species can be found here, which is seven times the entire Caribbean.

Bali’s problems with environmental pollution are well-documented, and it’s fair to say that the nearly 5.7 million tourists who visit annually are contributing their fair share. In late 2017, Indonesian officials declared a “garbage emergency” after a tide of plastic washed up a 5.8 kilometre (3.6 mile) stretch of coastline. We encourage all travellers to carry a reusable plastic bottle with them, a reusable tote bag for carrying items and to try and minimise their use of plastics wherever possible.

While you’ll find many of the main tourism hubs, like Seminyak and Kuta, filled with international fashion labels, there are also many local boutiques offering a wide variety of hand-made goods. These include traditional wood carvings (and even some famously phallic bottle openers), silver jewellery, colourful sarongs, eco-friendly bags, bamboo satchels, recycled furniture and a near limitless range of body oils and fragrances. Of course, if you’re looking for a traditional ‘I Heart Bali’ t-shirt or Bintang singlet, these are never in short supply either.

Like many parts of South East Asia, bargaining is a big part of the local shopping experience. Getting a good price comes down to how well you can haggle, but it’s important to have fun, bargain in good faith, and remember to smile. You’ll usually find better prices, and more negotiable shop owners, away from the main tourist strips.

When is the best time to visit Bali?

Sitting a snug 8 degrees from the equator, Bali’s climate is classic tropics. There’s a dry season and a rainy season, and not a whole lot in between.

The best time for a Bali tour (weather-wise) is the July to August peak season, or from December to the first week of January.

Although if you’d like to avoid the crowds (and why wouldn’t you) shoulder months like April, May, June and September make an excellent alternative.

The weather is dry and slightly less humid, and the island in general is a lot more relaxed.

October isn’t too bad either, especially if you’re into water sports like scuba diving, surfing or snorkelling (the rainfall is much lighter than in November).

Do you need a visa for a Bali tour?

The short answer is maybe – depending on your nationality. Passport holders from over 60 countries (including the   UK ,   Australia   and the   United States ) can enter Indonesia with a free tourist visa on arrival which allows you to stay for 30 days for tourism purposes. An immigration officer will date stamp your passport when you arrive and you will not be able to extend your stay. If you overstay there are hefty fines of IDR 1,000,000 (approximately 70 USD) per day.

If there's a chance you might want to stay longer than 30 days, you'll need to pay for a visa on arrival or apply for one prior to travelling at an overseas Indonesian consulate or embassy.

To enter Bali, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

  • proof of onward or return ticket
  • proof of funds to pay for your expenses during your trip
  • completed immigration card (this will usually be given to you on the plane or at the arrival terminal)

Local laws require that you must be able to show your valid passport at any time when required to do so by an immigration office. We recommend taking a clear photocopy of your passport photo page, and visa (after arriving), to carry with you.

This page is for general information only and may be subject to change. It is your responsibility to obtain relevant visa and travel information required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region you visit on your trip. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates.

Should I tip on a Bali tour?

Tipping isn’t compulsory in Bali, or anywhere else in Indonesia. But, like most countries, it’s very much appreciated.

Remember that many Balinese rely on tourism as a main source of income, and a tip is always appreciated.

What is the internet access like in Bali?

In tourist centers like Kuta, Seminyak, Denpasar, and Lovina internet access should be fine, and there will be plenty of internet cafes (or cafes with free internet) to choose from if your Wi-Fi isn’t up to scratch.

In more rural areas, there could be little or no coverage, particularly during homestays. Just remember to plan ahead.

What are the toilets like in Bali?

Restaurants and hotels in developed tourist centers will have Western-style flush toilets.

In more rural areas the traditional squat toilet will be more common.

We recommend packing a bottle of hand sanitizer if you plan to visit rural parts of Bali.

What will it cost for a...?

Indonesia is one of the world's favourite budget travel destinations. Here's what you can roughly expect to pay for a:

  • Street food snack = 0.15c USD
  • Fresh juice = 0.40c USD
  • Bottle of beer in a bar = 1.50 USD
  • Souvenir sarong = 1.80 USD
  • Dinner in a restaurant = 3 USD

Can I drink the water on a Bali tour?

Drinking water from taps isn’t recommended in Indonesia, but for environmental reasons try to avoid buying bottled water every day. There are a number of filtered canteens you can purchase or bring a supply of water filtration tablets that you can drop into your bottle wherever you go.

If you’re travelling on an Intrepid Travel trip, we always carry with us a large drum of water in our truck to refill your bottles on the road. Our hotel operators will also provide water free of charge to refill your bottles.

Are credit cards accepted widely in Bali?

Major credit cards are widely accepted by large shops, hotels and restaurants in Bali.

T hey may not be accepted by smaller vendors such as small family restaurants, market stalls or in remote towns and rural areas.

Make sure you carry enough cash for purchases since credit cards aren't always an option everywhere in Bali.

What is ATM access like in Indonesia?

ATMs are found widely throughout Bali, so withdrawing cash shouldn't be problematic in most areas. Some smaller villages and rural areas may not have ATM access, so be prepared for this before venturing too far from a city or major town.

What public holidays are celebrated in Bali?

Public holidays may vary from year to year. Find out more information on current public holidays in Bali.

Is Bali safe for LGBTQIA+ travellers?

Homosexuality is legal in most of Indonesia, however, revisions to Indonesia’s criminal code are currently being considered that would criminalise gay sex and same-sex relationships. Advocacy groups fear this would represent a profound setback to human rights in Indonesia as a result. The LGBTQIA+ community has also been known to be targeted and harassed by police.

Bali, with its Hindu majority, has always been more liberal, tolerant and relaxed in attitude, however public displays of affection are still not the norm for any couples anywhere in the country. Upscale hotels will likely not have any issues with same-sex travellers sharing a bed, however if you are staying in budget or family-run businesses and are allocated separate beds, you might feel more comfortable not drawing attention to your relationship.

Because sex, in general, is a taboo subject in Indonesian society, the issue of sexuality is unlikely to arise while travelling here. Indonesia is generally safe for queer travellers, provided you are willing to be discreet and cautious with public behaviour.

For more detailed and up-to-date advice, we recommend visiting  Equaldex  or  ILGA  before you travel.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance before travelling?

Absolutely. All passengers travelling with Intrepid are required to purchase travel insurance before the start of their trip. Your travel insurance details will be recorded by your leader on the first day of the trip. Due to the varying nature, availability and cost of health care around the world, travel insurance is very much an essential and necessary part of every journey.

For more information on insurance, please go to: Travel Insurance

Are Intrepid trips accessible for travellers with disabilities?

We are committed to making travel widely  accessible , regardless of ability or disability. We do our best to help you see the world, regardless of physical or mental limitations.

We are always happy to talk to travellers with disabilities and see if we can help guide them toward the most suitable itinerary for their needs and, where possible, make reasonable adjustments to our itineraries.

Bali’s highest peak, the dramatic, 3031m-high Gunung Agung volcano, is home to a number of important religious sites. Summitting Bali’s holiest peak requires a very strenuous guided climb, but the ascent and descent can be managed in one day.

Climbing this iconic volcano is one of the best Bali tours, but be aware that this is a serious climb. It’s strongly advised hikers book an established trekking guide. You’ll find many guide services in Sidemen village, 18km from Pura Pasar Agung; as well as Selat and Tirtagangga.

In the resorts, there’s Bali Sunrise Trekking and Tours in Ubud and Perama (bookable through their offices in most tourist centres or at www.peramatour.com). Else climb with Gung Bawa , a good-humoured, highly experienced and dependable guide who speaks excellent English.

Taking a yoga class in Bali is a transformative experience that combines the beauty of the island with the serene practice of yoga. As the gentle ocean breeze rustles the palm trees, you find yourself surrounded by lush greenery and a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

The picturesque setting provides the ideal backdrop for your yoga journey, allowing you to connect deeply with nature and your inner self. The classes are often held in open-air studios or on pristine beaches, enabling you to soak up the breathtaking views while immersing yourself in the ancient wisdom of yoga.

Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, Bali offers a wide range of yoga styles and retreats, catering to all levels and preferences.

Just like climbing Agung, climbing Gunung Batur, is one of the best Bali tours. On a clear day, no scenery in Bali can match that of the Batur area. With its volcanic peaks and silver-turquoise crater lake, the scale and spectacle of this landscape remain unrivalled.

The best way to see it is from the top of Bali’s most climbed mountain, the 1717m-high Gunung Batur (Mount Batur).

Wisps of sulphurous smoke still drift from smaller cones on the slopes of this ancient volcano, which last erupted in 2000. Given the scenery, it’s no surprise that this is one of Bali’s most popular tourist destinations.

Most only visit on a day trip but stay overnight in either lakeside Toya Bungkah or Kedisan and hike to the summit to experience the magic of the scenery at sunrise. A guide is essential for sunrise treks. Use the Association of Mount Batur Trekking Guides , which has offices in Toya Bungkah and Pura Jati.

There are several popular rice paddy walks on the outskirts of Ubud , some of which can be combined into one almost circular trek. Each has views that are perfect real-life versions of the Walter Spies-style paintings you see in Ubud's museums and galleries.

Cutting across the rice fields, the track becomes totally indistinct at times. But these narrow paths that run along the top of the dykes look out across to the amazing Gunung Agung (cloud cover permitting) as conical-hatted farmers work in the glittering rice paddies with the mountain in the background.

Travel tip - if you're looking for a bit of relaxation, our " Rest and Relaxation " trip is perfect for you!

Protected as a marine conservation area, the reefs around Nusa Lembongan attract divers from all over the world, not least for the chance to swim with manta rays and the one-tonne legendary local giant, the mola mola (oceanic sunfish), from early July to the end of October.

The diving here is unquestionably the most dramatic in Bali, but also rarely benign, as currents and waves can be fierce. Many of the reefs are rewarding for snorkelling. Prime spots off Nusa Lembongan that are accessible from the shore if the tide is right are Mangrove Corner and Mushroom Bay.

Virtually every guesthouse and hotel on the Islands can organize trips or contact one of the several dive centres on the island. Seek out five-star PADI dive school Big Fish Diving at Jungutbatu.

Fringed by dazzling white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and reefs that teem with turtles and fish, the trio of the tiny Gili Islands just off Lombok ’s northwest coast are strikingly beautiful and have exploded in popularity.

With no motorized vehicles allowed on any of the islands (just horse carts and bicycles), and swathes of the dusty interiors still taken up with coconut plantations and sandy tracks, the Gilis are as close as you can get to living the tropical dream.

Island life here can be incredibly seductive, and most visitors revel in long days spent snorkelling the reefs, eating fresh seafood and enjoying the spectacular views, with the volcanic profiles of Bali and Lombok filling the horizon.

It's one of the most popular Bali tours, as it's possible to visit any of the three on a day trip from Bali.

Gili Trawangan is the most developed. Diminutive Gili Meno, next east of Gili Trawangan, is the smallest and quietest of the Gilis, with no nightlife except a laidback bar or two. East again, Gili Air falls somewhere in between, with plenty of restaurants and bars but a much larger population of islanders to balance out the tourist influx.

Dive deep into Balinese culture with this tailor-made trip to Bali's Culture & Gili's beaches . Visits include rice field walks, the Gates of Heaven, water temples like Tirta Empul and Tirta Gangga as well as a traditional cooking class. Your trip ends with the beaches of Gili Air and Jimbaran.

A cool, less populated landscape of morning mists and forest, inland north Bali feels like a different island when compared to the crowded southern plains. The Bedugal highlands is an area defined by mountains, lakes and waterfalls with swathes of clove and coffee plantations around hilltown Munduk.

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, an important temple and a destination for Balinese-Hindu pilgrims, is also here. In the east is the active Gunung Batur volcano where occasional puffs of smoke waft from black rock, one of Bali's most popular sunrise hikes. At its base are other walks over parched, ethereal terrain peppered with giant boulders ejected from the earth's core.

Dolphin-spotting boat trips are wildly popular around Lovina and cultural activities including cooking classes are on offer too. Lovina’s proximity to good snorkelling and diving sites, and as a base for day-trips to nearby waterfalls and temples are another key appeal and make this area a good spot to try different activities. The Buddhist monastery and hot springs (air panas) at Banjar, 10km west, and temples and waterfalls east of Singaraja make a good days out.

8. Explore Bali's best beaches

Exploring the best beaches in Bali is an enchanting adventure that unveils a world of sun-kissed shores and turquoise waters. From the iconic Kuta Beach to the hidden gems like Nusa Dua and Uluwatu, each beach offers its own unique charm.

Kuta Beach, with its lively atmosphere and vibrant surf scene, attracts sunseekers and water sports enthusiasts alike. Seminyak Beach, just a stone's throw away, boasts trendy beach clubs and luxurious resorts, making it a hotspot for both relaxation and entertainment. For those in search of tranquillity, the pristine shores of Nusa Dua beckon, offering pristine white sand and calm waters perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Further north, the black sands of Lovina Beach allure visitors with its serene ambience and the opportunity to spot playful dolphins at sunrise. There are tons of tours in Bali that take you to the best beaches. Our " Beaches and Temples " trip takes you to all the best places.

Lying just below Candikuning at 1200m above sea level, Danau Bratan (Lake Bratan) is the largest and most visited of the three spiritually charged crater lakes around Bedugul. Thought to be 35m deep in places. It is surrounded by forested hills, with the bulk of Gunung Catur (2096m), the caldera’s highest peak, rising sheer behind.

The trail to the summit begins at Gua Jepang, caves built by Indonesian prisoners of war during World War II, and passes through agricultural fields ending where dense forest and the ascent begins.

The last few kilometres require climbing over exposed tree roots on muddy trails and at the top is Pura Puncak Mangu, a simple temple built by the first Mengwi raja and, of course, spectacular views of the three lakes below.

Nearby in Munduk, the most accessible of several falls in the area is the pretty Tanah Barak waterfall, also known as Red Coral Waterfall or simply Munduk Waterfall.

One of the best Bali tours is exploring its landscape by bicycle. A thrilling and immersive way to connect with the island's natural beauty and cultural heritage. As you pedal along, you'll be captivated by the ever-changing scenery, from lush rice terraces to cascading waterfalls and dense jungles.

Bicycle tours are particularly popular in Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, and meander through its surrounding countryside. The iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces are a sight to behold, with their intricate green terraces sculpted into the landscape. Take in the breathtaking views as you ride through the rugged terrain, passing by ancient temples and traditional Balinese architecture.

Did you know our Love trip to Bali includes a bicycle tour?

Experience the stunning natural beauty of Bali from a whole new perspective with the Island of the Gods' first and only ballooning adventure. Take to the skies in a 23-metre hot air balloon and soar above the breathtaking Tanah Gajah area, located amongst the legendary rice paddies of Ubud.

From the comfort of a cosy wicker basket, you'll climb to a thrilling 50 metres above the lush rice fields and float at the end of a tether, enjoying awe-inspiring panoramas of the tropical forests surrounding central Bali with Mount Agung on the eastern horizon.

Unveiling the Magic of the Island

Hey there, fellow traveler! If you’re dreaming of a Bali adventure that’s packed with culture, nature, and a whole lot of fun, then you’re in for a treat. Bali is like a treasure chest waiting to be opened, and the best way to unlock its wonders is through some epic tours that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

Ubud: Where Culture Comes Alive

So, picture this: wandering through the vibrant streets of Ubud, where art, tradition, and spirituality blend together in the most beautiful way. You’ve got the Ubud Palace, a place fit for royalty, and the Ubud Art Market, where you can snag some awesome local crafts. And let’s not forget the Tegalalang Rice Terraces – those lush, green steps that look like they’re straight out of a postcard.

Temples and Sunsets: A Match Made in Bali

Now, if you’re into temples and breathtaking sunsets, Bali’s got you covered. The Tanah Lot Sunset Tour is a must-do, where you can witness the magic of a sea temple perched on a cliff, with the sun painting the sky in the most mesmerizing colors. And for a deeper spiritual journey, the Besakih Temple and East Bali Tour will take you to the “Mother Temple” of Bali, nestled on the slopes of a majestic volcano.

Adventure Awaits: Nature’s Playground

For all you thrill-seekers and nature lovers, Bali’s got some serious adventures lined up. How about a pre-dawn trek to the top of Mount Batur to catch the sunrise? It’s a bit of a climb, but the view from the summit is absolutely worth it. And if waterfalls and jungle vibes are more your thing, Bali’s got some hidden gems like Tegenungan Waterfall and Tukad Cepung Waterfall that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale.

Beach Bumming and Underwater Delights

Of course, no Bali adventure is complete without some beach time and underwater exploration. A day trip to Nusa Penida will take you to some of the most jaw-dropping beaches and coastal cliffs you’ve ever seen. And if you’re up for snorkeling or diving, Bali’s coastal waters are teeming with colorful marine life and vibrant coral reefs – it’s like stepping into a whole other world beneath the waves.

Planning Your Bali Escapade

When you’re getting ready to dive into your Bali tours, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Look for tour operators who know their stuff and are all about respecting Bali’s natural and cultural heritage.
  • Sort out your transportation so you can get to all these amazing places hassle-free.
  • And most importantly, soak up the local vibes and show some love to the beautiful island that’s sharing its magic with you.

Bali’s tours are like a backstage pass to the island’s best-kept secrets. Whether you’re up for cultural immersion, spiritual exploration, adrenaline-pumping adventures, or just some good old beach time, Bali’s got it all. So get ready to dive in, soak up the magic, and make some unforgettable memories along the way.

The time has come for your trip of a lifetime to begin! Pack your bags, get a pint (what do you mean it’s only 8 am?), hop on a plane and we’ll meet you at Denpasar airport, before taking you to meet the rest of your TruFam at our hotel in Canggu. Your welcome talk with our Travel Ninjas will become a highlight in itself as you’ll be meeting your coolest friends for life and hearing all about the insane stuff to come over the next 10 days. Then spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, popping to the beach or exploring Canggu, before a rooftop dinner and drinks to get acquainted with your new TruFam as your Balian adventure begins. We'll start off with a traditional Indonesian to wet your appetite for all things Nasi Goreng and Sambal! Then we'll kick off with a great night out - for those of us that aren't suffering from jet lag of course...The bars in Canggu are located right next to the beach so get ready for a dreamy night by the sea, soaking in all the vibes - start as we mean to go on right?

temple visits

A group at the temple Taman Ayun in Bali Indonesia

So, what better introduction to Bali's rich culture than heading to two of it’s most famous temples. First we'll make our way to the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun, which translates as ‘beautiful garden’. D’you know why? Well, yeah, obviously it’s a beautiful garden; a garden filled with fantastic architecture, fish-filled ponds, and lush greenery. We'll then head over to Tanah Lot, set on a rock formation in the sea, which, let us tell you now, is a (Tanah) Lot of fun to explore! Exploring the temples is a perfect way to spend our first day in Canggu, the culture in Bali is such an amazing part of Indonesia and we can't wait to explore with you. In the evening we'll take in the spectacular sunset on one of the area’s most picturesque beaches, before a big night out in Canggu, a place where, if you’re looking to party, you’ll thank us. Bring on the joss shots!

Large group wearing blue wet suits with blue surf boards on sandy beach with sea in the background

Surf’s up, dudes. Grab your board, hit the beach and let’s catch some bitchin’ waves (surf slang for amazing). That’s right, it’s time for your very own surf lesson on Kuta Beach, one of the best places to surf in Asia. Our excellent local Kuta instructors will teach you the basics and show you how to make some cool moves in the waves. When we say cool we mean we’ll be well impressed if you can stand up for longer than 5 seconds, but you never know. Maybe you’ll be a natural. For those of you that are more experienced you're free to jump into the waves and practise some more, just promise not to show off! After a day on the water, we’ll head back to chill out at the rooftop pool or have a stroll on the beach, your guide will have so many ideas for your afternoon! Then we'll watch the sunset, cocktail in hand, recounting the day’s surfing stories, like when you did that 360 when no one was looking. Course you did.

ubud waterfalls

A group shot by Tegenungan waterfall in Indonesia

Right, pack your bags. We’re off to the bohemian jungle town of Ubud. Ubud doesn’t need much of an introduction; it's full of famed terraced rice paddies, temples, shrines and, of course, monkeys. Before we get there though, we’ll stop to cool off in the most famous waterfall you’ve never (if you have, 5 points to Gryffindor) heard of, the beautiful Tegenungan waterfall. Optional activities, including taking one of those ridiculous pics of you emerging from the water, flicking your hair back for Insta. Once we’ve checked into the hotel, you'll have a bit of time to look around the town, take in the sites, chat to the lovely locals and have a nibble on some Ubud delicacies. After we've freshened up, we'll head out to one of Bali’s coolest live music destinations, play some pool and get your guide to show you the coconut ice cream parlour in Ubud - it's not one to miss!

cooking class & monkey forest

bali tour de

Gordon Ramsay? Jamie Oliver? Heston Blumen-whatshisface? Yeah, they ain’t got sh*t on you after today, a traditional Indonesian cooking lesson is on the horizon. We’ll start the day by having a bit of brekkie, before heading down to the markets to have a peek at the freshest ingredients Bali has to offer. Then we’ll join the amazing Wayan and his fam (part of our TruFam) to learn how to rustle up some of Bali’s most famous cuisine, as well as Canang Sari, the flower offerings made for the God. And the best part? You’ll get to tuck into the delicious dishes you’ve just made. Then, with our bellies popping with scrummy Balinesian grub, we’ll head and meet some of Ubud’s cheekiest locals at the sacred monkey forest, where it is believed the hundreds of monkeys that live there protect the ancient temples inside. That protection also means they’ll nick whatever you have to hand so that Micheal Kors bag? Yeah, we’d advise not bringing that. The Balinese long-tailed monkeys are big fans of designer brands, smartphones, Raybans and AirPods. After a day with these literal cheeky monkeys, it’s time to head back for dinner with your TruFam where you can eat, drink, monkey around and count up all the unforgettable memories you’ve made so far. Might be a late one.

rice terraces & volcano viewpoint

A girl sat admiring the luscious green rice terraces in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Did you know half the world’s population’s daily diet is 20% rice? No? Well, now, you do. Get ready for one of the most exciting (and famous) things to do in Bali - wandering through the impossibly beautiful and scenic rice terraces of Tegalalang. Trek through Ubud valleys, snap an Insta-worthy pic on one of the many swings (please keep your arms inside the vehicle), and take a swig from a fresh coconut, all the while learning the importance of those little grains in the Balinese, and world economy. This afternoon we'll visit Kintamani for a spot of lunch overlooking the active volcano Mt. Batur. It is mesmerising and the perfect photo opportunity - this day has to make it on the feed! We’ll then head back to either top up your tan by the pool, pick up some souvenirs at the colourful and vibrant local market, or have a pilau fight with your Tru buds (see what we did there).

head to the gili islands

bali tour de

Right. We’ve done the temples. Done the rice paddies. It’s about time we hit up Bali’s famous beaches, don’t you think? Grab your snacks because today we’re jumping on a bus, before riding a ferry over to the stunning Gili Trawangan, an island that might be small in size, but that’s big in ‘Holy sh*t, this is amazing'. First, we’ll check in to our tropical accommodation in the heart of the island, where we’ll spend our final few days, before spending the afternoon having a beer, chilling by the pool, or exploring the many idyllic beaches that are only a stroll away. It is one of the most stunning places in Indonesia and the perfect place to end our trips. Kick back, put your feet up, and paddle in the crystal waters of the Gili Islands before gorging on the mouth-watering food on offer for dinner. Then get your glad rags on (shorts and a semi-clean tee’ll do) as we head out to drink responsibly in the incredible bars this tiny (but mighty) island has to offer. Did we say responsibly? Yeah, course. If you want to. This can be as loose or as civilised as you guys want, this is your Tru party after all.

island hopping adventure

A girl swimming with a turtle in the clear blue sea while snorkelling in Gili Trawangan, Bali, Indonesia

They call it ‘island hopping’. We call it getting in a boat, racing along the sapphire waters, feeling the sea breeze in your hair, clearing the hangover in a matter of minutes, and visiting the most stunning places Bali has to offer. We’ll hop around two islands - Gili Trawangan & Gili Meno home to some of the best snorkel spots this incredible place has to offer. You’ll see stunning coral, beautiful fish, turtles and maybe even a shark or two. Once you’ve had a gander at Bali’s incredible sea life, you can enjoy a beachfront lunch on Gili Meno, before we head out this evening to enjoy the stunning sunset and an ice-cold cocktail at some of the best beach bars on the island.

bike ride around gili t

A group of five on bicycles by the beach, ready for a bike ride around the island of Gili Trawangan, Bali, Indonesia

Did you know one of the best ways to explore the Gili islands is by bicycle? Well now you do! Today we’ll explore the island on one of Gili’s only modes of transportation, pushbike. We’ll all cycle around the island, exploring all the nooks and crannies of this unreal place, before taking a small trek up the hill to see the best viewpoint Gili has to offer. (Which is bloody incredible, if we do say so ourselves. Which we do, by the way.) Then you’ll get a chance to enjoy one last sunset with your TruFam as you reminisce about your epic time on the trip over a farewell dinner, before finishing off in Tru style with a little party to celebrate what we guarantee have been the best 10 days of your life. There might be some group awards, emotional speeches and we can guarantee that at least one person will cry...you've explore some of the most beautiful places in the world together and built bonds to last a lifetime, of course it'll be totes emosh!

7 Days Bali Itinerary: The Perfect Guide for First Time Visitors

7 Days Bali Itinerary

  • 7 Pinterest

Has the Island of the Gods been on your Travel Bucket List for the longest of times? As one of the most sought-after destinations in the world for travelers, we’ve put together a 7 days Bali itinerary for first-timers, covering everything you need to know, from places to eat, where to stay and things to do in Bali .

To ensure you’re not constantly on the road, we’ve conveniently planned this itinerary, splitting seven days across the not-to-miss parts in Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Mount Batur, Uluwatu and the Nusa Islands.

Choose one neighborhood as base camp, or pick one or two other districts in between. (Bali is renowned for its out-of-this-world accommodations, so we say take advantage!)

Go beach-hopping, explore jungle settings and spiritual meccas, hike to the top of a volcano, join a cooking class and hang ten at a vibey beach bar.

Dine at restaurants with insane views or settings, and start your day off right at one of Bali’s famous trendy cafes.

When is the best time to travel to Bali? With year-round sunshine, any month of the year equates to an incredible holiday, but between May and September is when the island experiences the least rain. (Keen snorkelers and avid divers, water visibility is best at this time of year.)

Here’s everything you need to know about getting around, what to do and see, and where to stay and eat for one week in Bali paradise!

Day 1: Seminyak

Seminyak in Bali, Indonesia

Kick things off with quintessential Bali: beach, views and food!

Considered one of the coolest neighborhoods, Seminyak is a little upscale and a lotta fun, with epic beaches and clubs, busy boutiques, buzzing bars, and a mixed crowd of families, couples and travelers after a good time.

Around the corner from Kuta and Canggu, it’s a prime area for first-timers to make your base for the next seven days. It’s easy to get around, as well as to book day trips or Bali tours from the many operators in the area.

After arriving at Denpasar Airport, hail down a taxi or pre-organize airport transfers in Bali before your arrival for added convenience. Check-in is typically after 2 PM, but certain accommodations allow an earlier time or luggage drop-off.

Lunch at a banging Balinese beach club (1.5hrs)

Mari beach club in Bali

In tropical utopia, is there really anywhere else you’d rather be after touchdown other than breathing in the oceanic landscapes?

After a long flight, refueling on food is always a good idea. For your first meal, there’s no better first encounter than lunch at a Bali beach club — the island is famous for them, right?

Mari Beach Club epitomizes everything we love about them: light woods, bamboo accents, white Balinese umbrellas, insane pools and an ocean so blue in front it belongs on the cover of a travel mag.

Different seating areas are spread across its beachfront and pool areas, from VIP bungalows to seats on the hillside terrace.

Poke bowls, sushi, sharing plates and local dishes, the menu is fresh and diverse. Order a glass of champers or prosecco, pinching yourselves as a reminder you’re actually here!

Explore the town and do some shopping (1hr)

Kim Soo Bali

While there’s loads to love about Seminyak’s beachscapes, it’s the quintessential Balinese boutique stores that grab hold of shopaholic’s hearts!

Get familiar with your local surroundings while exploring and dropping a dollar (or ten), walking along Jalan Raya Seminyak and around the town.

For Balinese homeware pinned on countless Pinterest boards, head to Kara Home Living and Kim Soo (there’s an amazing cafe here, too). Nyaman Gallery is a fab contemporary art space.

For all surfing needs, pop into Drifter Surf , or there’s a Quicksilver at Seminyak Square — on that note, a hyper-local outdoor market sets up around the square here, too.

Shop, wine and dine at Bali Boat Shed (for all casual beach day vibes). Get something tailored now so you have enough time to collect it one week later at The Bali Tailor .

P.S. If you’d rather get straight into Bali’s beach vibes, ditch the shopping and continue hanging ten at the beach clubs, like the popular Potato Head Beach Club .

Time for a coffee refuel (30mins)

Revolver Bali

Before heading back to your accommodation to get ready for your first night in Bali, knock back a quick espresso or artisanal roast from a coffee specialist in Seminyak!

Espresso martini, anyone (you’re on vacation)? Acclaimed Revolver is one of Bali’s famous coffee shops!

It’s a literal bean-to-cup experience at The Koop Cafe. Taking their coffee seriously, they’re not just baristas but growers, processors and roasters!

Order homemade chunky cookies and espresso ice cream from The Coffee Cartel .

How delicious does a pear elixir cold brew sound? How I Met Coffee is an expert in manual drips!

Eat your way through the local restaurants and warungs at Eat Street (2hrs)

Ultimo in Bali

With something to tantalize all sorts of tastebuds, do things the authentic Seminyak way at Eat Street!

Locally referred to as Jalan Laksmana, this foodie hotspot offers tons of variety, from the cuisine to the type of dining establishments. There are chilled-out eateries or fancier fine-dining options, cafes, bars and warungs (Indonesian food stalls).

Warung Nia is one of the biggest and most popular; discover seafood in abundance along Eat Street; and there are a handful of vegan restaurants.

Trendy establishments include Motel Mexicola , Sea Circus , Ultimo , Neon Palms and Barbacoa . Enjoy top-notch service from Chandi — “a gastronomic twist on Pan Asian cuisine.”

Insider tip: Swap Eat Street for a local night food tour in Seminyak.

End night one with drinks with a view

WooBar Bali

Still have some energy left from all the excitement of Day One? Stay on Eat Street and extend your eating into drinking at vibey Motel Mexicola, transforming into a discotech later on!

Change locales and enjoy a glass of wine with a view from a rooftop bar, like Double-Six Rooftop or Above Rooftop Lounge and Bar .

Unwind under the stars at a beach bar, and legendary Ku De Ta or WooBar are both the perfect settings (and always busy).

Inspired by the 1950s, step into the dimly lit, ambient The Shady Flamingo and let cocktails and great music take you into the night!

Day 2: Canggu

Canggu in Bali, Indonesia

Ask any local or expat where the cool kids (and yogis) hang out beachside, and they’ll answer Canggu!

Boasting laid-back vibes, amazing beaches, an avalanche of vegan cafes and bohemian moments around every corner (especially at the markets), today is all about finding your Bali flow.

Catch up on your TLSea, learn to surf, feast on seafood at a trendy beach club, witness the sun setting above an ocean temple, and move into the night at one of the ambient bars with banging views and tunes; it’s the perfect introduction to this island paradise.

(With a strong yoga community, the places to stay in Canggu reflect this. If this is more your cup of green tea, make Canggu base camp.)

Start the day the right way with brekkie at a trendy Bali cafe (1hr)

Kynd Community in Bali

Is brekkie your favorite meal of the day? Bali’s breakfast scene is on-point, and there’s a reason why cafes worldwide are “Bali-inspired.”

If your accommodation includes breakfast, skip this one, but even if it does, you may want to consider breakfasting at a trendy Bali cafe. Stick to Seminyak or if you’re not yet starving, save it for Canggu.

It’s tropicana pastel pink bliss at vegan-based Kynd Community (with a cafe in both Seminyak and Canggu). Add an extra dollop of collagen powder to your morning smoothie, and the menu features bircher jars, avo toast, brunch bowls, acai bowls and more.

P.S. This spot is ideal for a girl’s trip!

Shop the markets for Balinese treasures (1.5hrs)

Love Anchor in Bali

Boho-loving souls, you’re in the right place to shop for all sorts of trinkets, handmade goods and flea market favorites in hipster Canggu, so before you hit the beaches, sweep in a quick peek-a-boo at the markets.

Love Anchor is, without a doubt, the coolest bazaar in town, home to over 50 stalls selling the trendiest items on the block. Operating daily, the weekends are reserved for the fashionistas, but on any given day, pick up homeware, jewelry, clothing and decor.

A playground of local artisans and farmers, the Samadi Sunday Market (operating Sundays from 8 AM to 4 PM) is a picnic basket full of organic and ethically sourced goods.

Vintage-lovers, every last Saturday of the month, Old Man’s is the place to be for second-hand shopping!

Or, there’s the daily Bali Niki Natural Art Market near Batu Bolong Beach.

Learn to surf or chill out on the beaches (2.5hrs)

beaches in Canggu, Bali

Now that breakfast is out the way, and any of your spend-happy travel party members have got their morning shopping fix, it’s finally time for what you came here for … the island-style beaches!

It’s impossible to visit all of Bali’s beaches in one vacation. Day 2 is for exploring the beaches in and around Canggu.

The crowds of young and old swarm to Batu Bolong (it’s probably the beach with the most amenities), Berawa Beach is home to Finns Beach Club (and fun surf), Nelayan Beach is where to escape the crowds and the locals, and expats and surfing crowds favor black-sand Pererenan Beach.

A renowned surfing mecca, swap beach lazies for surf yayzies at some of the best surf spots in all of the island. Echo Beach is reserved for the pros and Batu Bolong Beach has ideal conditions for novice surfers.

If you’ve always wanted to learn to surf, there are plenty of surf schools at Canggu’s beaches.

Feast on a seafood lunch at one of Canggu’s epic beach clubs (1.5hrs)

Sol Rooftop in Bali

With your feet in the sand, endless blue hue views and the smell of sea salt drifting through the air, what better location for a seafood feast than at an epic beachfront destination?

We suggest one of Canggu’s beach clubs for lunch, delivering all the above!

Try not to gasp when entering the stunning La Brisa — we recommend the char-grilled octopus (and a charcuterie board to start).

Slurp back fresh oysters or share a plate of lobster nachos at stylish The Lawn .

Chill out on the hanging nets over the beachfront pool at Sol Rooftop , enjoying dishes like grilled king prawns or scallops with a view!

For a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian flavors, Cafe Del Mar is unparalleled, and this is the second location of Ibiza’s iconic beach club!

Grab coffee at a specialty coffee house (30mins)

Blacklist Coffee Roasters in Bali

Lying in the sunshine all day can take it out of you — true story — especially if you’ve spent a couple hours surfing or water sporting it out! Get a kick of energy with a caffeine boost at a specialty coffee house, then make your way back to your accommodation to de-salt from your beach day and get dressed for the evening.

As if the interiors over at Miel weren’t enough, the speciality coffee matches on every level! (Digital nomads, this is a wonderful environment to catch up on any work.)

See what coffee art arrives on your table at Hungry Bird Coffee where your cuppa is made by the Indonesian latte art champion!

The coffee concoctions from Mimpi Grocery are extra imaginative — hello, iced espresso with passion fruit syrup, fresh lemon juice and tonic water.

A frozen reserve coffee made from rare premium beans? Blacklist Coffee Roasters hails from Australia, so you know the coffee is gonna be good.

With the sun setting over the Indian Ocean’s horizon and the tips of tiered shrines peeking through lush canopies, Tanah Lot Temple draws in the crowds as one of the island’s most sacred sea temples. But it’s also one of the most picturesque places for sunset hour!

Perched IN the ocean some meters offshore, to reach the spiritual site, catch a boat over during Tanah Lot Temple tours, or you can walk across the water pathway when the tides are low.

You can officially say you’ve “walked on water.”

(Around the corner is one more exquisite sea temple, Batu Bolong, and is a five-minute drive from Tanah Lot.)

For couples and honeymooners; another dreamy sunset activity is horse riding along the beachfront!

Dinner time at an upmarket restaurant in Canggu or Seminyak (2hrs)

Uma Garden in Bali

Opt to stay in Canggu for your dinner plans or make your way back to Seminyak. Let’s start in Canggu.

Luma is a date night no-brainer, situated on Batu Bolong. Everything from the architecture to the menu draws inspiration from sunny coastal countries in Southern Europe — think Mediterranean vibes — down to the last archway detail!

Then, over to Seminyak. Smothered in greens and dripping chandeliers, Uma Garden is a go-to pick and is all about cooking with fire!

Unwind with drinks or optional night out partying

La Favela in Bali

Tomorrow brings relaxation in the highlands, so tonight could be an ideal time to show off your dance moves!

Arrive for the cocktail tastings (!!!) at La Favela and stay for the late-night party where international residents spin the decks into the night. Move to the rhythm under its dazzling disco ball, there are premium shishas available and sometimes even live music.

Claiming the title of Bali’s ‘best live music venue of the year, The Orchard Bali is open until midnight. From rock to the blues to soul to jazz, squizz their weekly lineup to see who’s playing and if the genre suits your music tastes.

Day 3: Ubud

Ubud in Bali, Indonesia

Welcome to the jungle, baby!

After a fair share of coastal blessings, it’s time to switch things up a bit and journey into Bali’s lush highlands.

This is the other side of Bali you’ve imagined … Cue the rolling rice terraces, jungle escapes, spiritual temples, meditative yoga retreats and cafes with the most insane vistas! There’s loads to do and see in Ubud , so you’ll want to get an early start.

Many travelers visiting Bali for the first time often can’t decide whether to stay in Seminyak/Canggu or Ubud. Day trip here or if you’re the type that prefers to stay at multiple locations during a vacation, opt to spend a night in magical Ubud (famous for its private infinity pool jungle bungalows).

Breakfast in Ubud in a bohemian dream (1hr)

Mudra Cafe in Bali

Where food is flower-power artistry, displaying all colors of the rainbow in one smoothie bowl, breakfast in Ubud has got to be at the iconic Mudra Cafe .

And while smoothie bowls may originate from Brazil, it was Bali that popularized them on the Gram. This cafe was the first to bring the bowls to Ubud-side, and have been wooing patrons ever since — not only with the food.

Tables and chairs are set beneath an open-plan natural bamboo roof, with all the greens surrounding the balcony space.

Live music often sets the tone, playing healing sound bowls and handpans.

The menu promotes ayurvedic living, with dragon bowls, matcha pancake stacks, reimagined gluten-free cassava wraps, banana leaf curry, poke bowls and more.

Tick Tegallalang Rice Terraces off your bucket list (1hr)

Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Bali

Along with countries like Vietnam, the rice paddies in Indo are some of the most famous across the globe! Found in just about every destination in the country, the Tegallalang Rice Terraces are a symbol of Ubud.

Employing this ancient irrigation system for centuries, rows of rice grass strands filter downhill in a laid-out terrace formation, creating captivating natural patterns.

Coconut palms dance in between the scenery, and here, there is a road above the terraces, and a few houses, restaurants and stays are built between the two, so they literally overlook Tegallalang!

Admire locals going about their daily business, and ladies sell woven hats and coconut water as you walk around.

Check into Tis Cafe overlooking the terraces (45mins)

Tis Cafe in Bali

Just above the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tis Cafe owns the best vistas of Tegallalang Rice Terraces.

Before discovering the rest of Ubud’s magic, a caffeine fix is a good idea (or if not, perhaps a fresh juice or tea), but mainly, the reason for stopping over here is to drink in the insane views (and snap, like a hundred photos).

On that note, the artistic bamboo cafe has set up photo ops for its eager guests, providing iconic Bali jungle swings and bird nests to pose among! Not only that, but there is an infinity pool to swim in, too. Stop it right now!

P.S. For our coffee connoisseurs who are after a specialty/artisanal roaster, head to Seniman Coffee Studio instead.

Explore the unique Ubud Monkey Forest (45mins)

Monkey Forest Ubud, Bali

Home to adorable long-tailed Balinese macaques, the Ubud Monkey Forest is one of the most popular things to do in Ubud !

Doubling as a nature reserve and a temple complex, the sacred space is home to three Hindu temples and a mystifying landscape, traversing through dense forest pathways to its shrines, statues and the Durgama Cave.

Situated in Padangtegal Village, witness cultural performances at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary . For example, there’s the traditional Balinese Lubdaka dance, Frog Dance (Tari Katak) and a Ngaben procession (a Balinese Hindu cremation ceremony).

Lunch next to a … waterfall @ Layana Warung (1.5hrs)

Layana Warung in Bali

How many times in your life can you say you’ve dined on the side of a … waterfall?!

Not only is Layana Warung one of the least challenging cascades to reach in Ubud, but there’s a local restaurant here that goes by the same name.

Situated just above the waterfall, enjoy lunch with a view unlike any other!

The menu is a fusion of Indonesian and Western flavors: pizzas, Caesar salads, satay sticks, ayam bumbu rujak (a crispy chicken Javanese dish), curries, cakes, and even coffee topped with artworks of Ganesha!

Sit on the upstairs balcony, or there is a special section set up right near the bottom of the fall (popular for weddings). Park at the restaurant and walk down to the waterfall — easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Partake in an authentic Cooking Class or Yoga Lesson (2-3hrs)

cooking and yoga class in Bali

With its abundance of nature, Ubud is one of the best places to try out a cooking class, in our humble opinion, with much of the island’s fresh produce hailing from its lush highlands and the plantations scattered around this region.

In the most authentic setting, visit a local market to shop for ingredients, then head to Laplapan village where the cooking action takes place.

There are classes under the guidance of qualified Balinese chefs, those at an organic farm, or even private lessons at a local family’s home.

Cooking ain’t your thing? Swap cooking classes for yoga lessons — Ubud is a renowned yogi mecca — or try a meditation session.

Be like Julia Roberts in Eat Pray Love at the Ubud Art Market or rejuvenate at a jungle spa (2hrs)

spas in Bali, Indonesia

Woven placemats, rattan bags, pretty dream catchers, hanging macrame planters, bamboo wind chimes, embroidered cases, hippy-dippy elephant pants and bohemian clothing … a shopping heaven awaits you at the Ubud Art Market!

Makeshift stalls brim with handicrafts, souvenirs, jewels and clothes; some vendors sell fresh goods right off the streets — typical of any Southeast Asian market fare.

Most of the goodies you find at Pasar Seni Ubud (its Indonesian name) are crafted by local artisans from the villages around Ubud.

If you’re not the biggest shopper, swap the market for a spoil at one of the spas in Ubud, such as Mansion Wellness , The Sanctoo Spa, Mango Tree Spa by L’OCCITANE or Ubud Bodyworks Center .

Enjoy an early dinner at a jungle restaurant with views (2hrs)

CasCades Restaurant in Bali

Tomorrow brings an early start, so ensure you’re as fresh as a daisy for Day 4’s antics with an early dinner at one of Ubud’s incredible restaurants with a view.

So many tropical palm trees e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e. … Welcome to dreamy CasCades Restaurant , commanding endless vistas of the exotic valley in front. Their Balinese Rijsttafel tasting menu is a truly special experience, but even the a la carte plates burst with color and creativeness.

Any couples or honeymooners in the house? It doesn’t get more romantic than Swept Away Restaurant , with multiple whimsical seating options, from tables on the riverbank to private terraces (and they can also help organize a romantic proposal dinner).

Feast on elevated local cuisine at Kepitu Restaurant at The Kayon Resort. Its seating arrangements are out of this world, beneath the watchful gaze of a giant statue or with a waterfall cascade right in front of you.

Day 4: Mount Batur & Ubud temples

Mount Batur & Ubud temples in Bali, Indonesia

You’ve explored the beaches, the flourishing highlands and now, it’s time for a new change of scenery: a Bali volcano! Imagine volcanic terrains, natural springs, ashed-out calderas and unbeatable panoramas as low-hanging clouds create misty backdrops.

Of all the unique things to do in Bali, a sunrise hike up the island’s second-highest mountain is unparalleled.

About an hour from Ubud, wake-up calls are around 2 AM, then it takes roughly two hours to reach the summit. Skip the sunrise if that’s too early, venturing to Mount Batur when daylight breaks, or if you love your beauty sleep, venture here mid-morning and skip the other activities.

En route back to the coast, pit-stop over in Ubud again, exploring the rest of the not-to-miss sites.

1,717 meters above sea level, go on a Mount Batur sunrise trek (5hrs)

Mount Batur in Bali

Bali’s second tallest mountain is just waiting to be explored, and not just that, Mount Batur is actually a dormant volcano, last erupting in 2000.

It’s one of the most chosen hiking expeditions to embark on on the island, but its unique sunrise treks are the real winner!

You’re treated to the most sublime views over the island — not to mention the sun rising above it all and through the clouds is a jaw-dropping moment if ever we did see one!

(Sunrise is typically between 5.30 and 6.30 AM, depending on the season, so this activity does require a super early rise, but once up top, it’s all totally worth it.)

There are Mount Batur sunrise tours with breakfast included, enjoyed once you reach the peak. If you’re not the biggest hiking fan, opt for a sunrise jeep tour option instead.

Have a coffee refuel with volcano views (30mins)

El Lago in Bali

Now that you’ve conquered Mount Batur, it’s time for a caffeine kick!

En route back to Ubud, stop over at a cafe with subliminal views of the dormant volcano — sitting in front, give yourselves a pat on the back knowing you climbed to the very top!

Both Japanese-inspired El Lago and nature-driven Okuta are between Mount Batur and Ubud in the Kintamani area, featuring outdoor seating and plenty of photo ops!

Head back to Ubud side via Tirta Empul and to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) (1.5hrs)

Goa Gajah Temple, Bali

Have you heard about Bali’s holy water temples before? Popular with locals for purification rituals (which you can do too), Tirta Empul is a busy spiritual complex where masses arrive daily to experience the special cleansing procession.

Founded in 926 CE, the ancient complex is also referred to as the Holy Water Temple, and around the grounds, you’ll notice water spurts with queues of bathers standing in front.

These are fed by the temple’s natural spring, and locals believe the waters purify your mind, body and soul.

Stop over at Tirta Empul on the way to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave); an 11th-century wonder with etched-out demon figurines guarding the entrance to the temple cave (that’s right, the sanctuary is found within the cavern).

Lunch in Ubud in surreal settings (1.5hrs)

The Sayan House in Bali

After such an active morning, we bet you’ve worked up an appetite. Take advantage of Ubud’s restaurant scene one last time.

Talk about insane views! Enjoy contemporary Asian plates from Indus as low-hanging clouds float on by. How delish does whipped edamame with wonton chips sound as a snack???

Olala, Wild Air is a jungle fantasy that does amazing food and cocktails to match. The best part? Cool off after your morning trek with a dip in its pool overseeing the canopies below.

Self-acclaimed as the ‘best restaurant in Ubud,’ The Sayan House serves up Japanese Latin fusion — uh, yum!!

Add in a last round of sightseeing at the Ubud Palace & Ubud Water Palace (1.5hrs)

Puri Saren Agung, Ubud Palace, Bali

Back to the sightseeing in Ubud, tick off two more important attractions before journeying back down to the coast.

The former residence of the Ubud royal family was constructed during the 19th century, and today, the Ubud Palace is a treat for architectural and art fundis, centering on the traditional kind in this case.

Among the things to do and explore here, watch a generational-old Balinese dance performance.

The Ubud Water Palace is a one-minute walk around the corner, so it makes sense to visit both now.

Officially Pura Taman Saraswati Temple, it’s a classic example of these types of sanctuaries in Bali, typically surrounded by water.

Cross over a lotus pond to the main temple, and when the flowers are in bloom, the lily pads and sacred fleurs make for the most awe-inspiring photographs with the intricately detailed ornate temple entrance in the background!

Dine at a stylish restaurant (2hrs)

Mama San Bali

Back on Bali’s beachside, it’s dinner time in the Kuta surroundings between Canggu and Seminyak.

Travel to the Middle East at Sababa and feel instantly transported, and with a menu that matches the Pinterest-perfect interiors!

For fine dining with insane oceanic views, there’s no better spot than Skool Kitchen . The kitchen incorporates open-flame cooking, and you’ll have a hard time choosing between its small plates and mouth-watering mains.

Sophisticated elegance defines Mama San Bali , with an ever-evolving menu bursting with creativity. They also do an epic Supper Club!

Day 5: South Bali (Uluwatu & Jimbaran)

South Bali (Uluwatu & Jimbaran), Indonesia

While you had a taster of Bali beach life on days 1 and 2, Day 5 is fully dedicated to salty adventures!

After two days in the uplands, you’re back on the coastline. Uncover Bali’s south side, where surf culture reigns supreme.

Uluwatu is an internationally acclaimed surfing mecca. From atop its wave of cliffside beach clubs and restaurants, admire the pros catching barrels below. Further on is Jimbaran (half an hour from Uluwatu), and with less swell, it’s perfect for newbies!

After a few busy days, today is about taking things easy with some fun in the sun — because when the sun’s out … we’ll let you complete the rest.

Brekkie in Uluwatu (1hr)

Nourish in Bali

The breakfast scene matches Uluwatu’s laid-back culture, with a mix of trendy eateries, vegan options or local warungs.

Warm and inviting, Tarabelle has smoked salmon bagels, granola bowls, truffle omelets, french toast and all your regular morning favorites. (Don’t leave without ordering a donut-to-go.)

Clean and whole Nourish delivers falafel wraps, waffles, bagels, eggs bennie, poke bowls and great coffee!

Get ready for a beach-hopping morning (4hrs)

Melasti Beach in Bali

Honestly, if you didn’t have at least one day for beach hopping, you’d regret it! Today, uncover the rare beauty of Bali’s south coast locations, spending the first half of your day on the shores.

The south is renowned as surfer’s paradise, but other than just options for epic breaks and fun lefties, there are plenty of picks for sandy hangs and ocean swims scattered between Uluwatu and Jimbaran.

For beaches that have it all (soft sands, waves, restaurants, beach clubs and other amenities), you’ve got Melasti Beach, Pandawa Beach and Bingin Beach.

Nyang Nyang Beach (Nunggalan Beach) and Thomas Beach are both secluded options away from the masses.

Learn to surf at Balangan Beach, or if you’re a frequent rider, catch barrels at Uluwatu Beach (Suluban Beach), Green Bowl Beach and Impossibles.

Wine and dine at an epic beach club (2hrs)

One Eighty in Bali

Dramatic cliffs around every turn, and rugged landscapes adding mystique; lunch is served!

Lazing on sun beds poolside and overseeing Uluwatu Beach below, the iconic Cliff Restaurant (at Ulu Cliffhouse) wins hearts with its vibes, views and direct beach access. Order a bunch of small or large sharing plates.

Chill out in the glass-bottom infinity pool on the edge of a cliff while waiting for your food and drinks to arrive at One Eighty (a social media favorite).

It’s the one and only Rock Bar !!! One of the most famous beach clubs in Bali, choose between multiple seating areas set up between the, well, rocks!

Pull up a blue beanbag or reserve a private cabana at Sundays Beach Club . Australian Chef James Viles leads the team, and you can expect a seafood-heavy menu.

Head to Uluwatu Temple for sunset and a Kecak dance show (1.5hrs)

Uluwatu temple, Bali

Sun chasers, stop everything you’re doing and get to Uluwatu Temple in time for Golden Hour!

Apart from beach club locations, it’s the best place to catch the sunset as golden streaks silhouette the temple’s features, molten magic illuminates the ocean and the sky transforms into a pink dream!

Boasting an astonishing cliffside location, the 11th-century temple was built 70 meters above the sea, and is one of Bali’s six spiritual pillars.

During sunset, witness a traditional fire Kecak dance show at Pura Luhur Uluwatu (its official Indonesian name) between 6 and 7 PM.

Day 6: Penida Islands (Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan)

Penida Islands in Indonesia

Fun fact: The Island of the Gods is one of 18,000-odd Indonesian islands, and technically, the three Nusa Islands (Lembongan, Penida and Ceningan) are considered part of Bali. Situated off the mainland, day trips and boat tours to the Nusa Islands are super popular.

Catch a 45-minute ferry from Sanur Harbor to Nusa Lembongan, arriving at Jungut Batu Beach. Or, journey to the islands with private boat tours .

Experience a bit of each of the three sister islands, snorkeling, boating, sunbathing, exploring and eating your way through this lesser-touched tropical oasis.

The last public ferry departs from Lembongan at 4 PM, or alternatively, spend your last night on the Nusa Islands.

(We had a late flight out of Bali and chose to stay overnight on Nusa Lembongan. With the ferry arriving back in Bali close to the airport, we weren’t stressed for time at all — but plan your seven-day Bali itinerary carefully if you’re keen to do the same.)

Before cruising over to the Nusa Islands by speedboat or joining your boat tour , guzzle down a quick brekkie.

In Seminyak, order the ricotta pancake stack from Shelter Cafe (boasting natural interiors and bistro-vibes), or a matcha chai and an oversized smoothie bowl from Cafe Organic .

In Canggu, Koloni is calling with its California-inspired menu, or iam Vegan Babe puts a plant-based spin on staples like a classic eggs bennie.

Arrive by boat to Nusa Lembongan and go snorkeling (3hrs)

snorkeling in Nusa Lembongan, Bali

Majority of the daily commutes arrive on Nusa Lembongan (the most tourist-driven of the three Nusa Islands).

After disembarking from the boat, hail down a local tuk-tuk taxi, drive into the main part of town closest to the drop-off bay, and hunt down a tour operator offering snorkeling expeditions.

(You can pre-organize a snorkel session on Nusa Lembongan beforehand when you’re on mainland Bali with your stay or a recommended operator, or pre-book a snorkel tour online before arriving in Bali.)

You can snorkel just about any coastline, but for the best snorkeling in Bali, the Nusa Islands are where it’s at. Popular spots around this sister island include Lembongan Bay, Blue Corner and Mangrove Point.

Avid scuba divers, switch snorkeling for diving , swimming with manta rays at Manta Point.

Order a quick coffee and then cruise across to Nusa Penida (30mins)

Nusa Penida in Indonesia

Swap seasalt for coffee before catching a quick 10-minute boat ride over to mysterious Nusa Penida.

(The Little Coconut and Bali Eco Deli are two lovely options for a coffee or freshly squeezed juice.)

To reach Nusa Penida from Nusa Lembongan, make your way to the iconic Yellow Bridge. Catch a tuk-tuk over to the bridge or walk here.

At the bridge are local boatmen who take you between the two islands, dropping you off at Toyapakeh Harbour in Nusa Penida. It’s really easy and convenient, and once the eight-seater is full, off you go!

To get back to Nusa Lembongan, it’s the same route and departure points.

Travel tip: Once you’re on Penida, if you feel comfortable enough, rent a scooter to get around.

Pose in front of the T-Rex viewpoint at the world’s most famous Insta beach, Kelingking Beach (30mins)

Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida, Indonesia

You mean to say there’s a dinosaur on Nusa Penida? Well, not exactly, but the famous Kelingking Beach has garnered the nickname because of its T-Rex-shaped cliffside viewpoint.

Blowing up on Instagram circa 2015, it’s one of the most Instagrammed beaches in the entire universe! From a bird’s eye perspective, the shape of the crag looks eerily similar to the upper half of the Tyrannosaurus dino.

Pose for that legendary shot from the rocks 200 meters above the cliff, then take the wooden broadstairs down to the beach bay below — beware, it’s a steep descent, buttttt, there are loads more angles to snap photos for the ‘gram as you do so.

FYI. If you do plan on hiking down to the beach, it’s not the quickest or safest, clocking in two hours. Please take extra caution, there have been some scary incidents.

Step inside a fantasy realm at Tembeling Beach and Forest (1.5hrs)

Tembeling Beach and Forest in Nusa Penida, Indonesia

Who’s up for an adventure? Pretend to be fairies and mermaids at the magical Tembeling Beach and Forest.

One part ocean, one part natural forest pool behind it, this wild and untouched gem is located roughly three kilometers to the south of Kelingking Beach.

To get to the secret beachscape, journey through native coastal forests, and a staircase brings you to the final wonder. Before you touch the sand, there’s a spring directly behind the shoreline, doubling as the most extraordinary natural pool.

While it may be like a scene from a fairytale, it’s not the easiest place to reach. You will need to get a local to drive you down on motorbike, or if you’ve rented your own moped, navigate the downhills yourselves carefully (only for experienced riders).

Boat back to Lembongan, cross the Yellow Bridge and have lunch on the ocean on Nusa Ceningan (1.5hrs)

Nusa Ceningan in Indonesia

Navigate your way back to the harbor, and catch the 10-minute boat ride back to Lembongan, disembarking at the Yellow Bridge on Lembongan-side. From here, cross the famous yellow steel icon and enjoy lunch on Nusa Ceningan!

Keep your bathing suits close on hand because these two locations boast the best type of swimming pool … the calm crystal ocean!

Decked out in funky murals and decor that makes you feel like you’re in Tulum, Mexico, Seabreeze Ceningan is our personal favorite. Chill out in hammocks or nets extending over the sea, and take the coolest photos on the swings in the ocean right in front of the cafe.

Order a signature monster colada from The Sand Ceningan (just a couple meters down from Seabreeze). Built on a small rockery, there’s deck seating and stairs leading to the ocean, also with sea swings and hammocks right in the water.

The menu is a fusion of Caribbean, Lebanese, Mediterranean, Indonesian, Jamaican, Arabic and Algerian cuisines.

Bellies full? Head back to Bali via speedboat!

Complete your Bali trip with dinner at a lovely local restaurant (2hrs)

Gabah Restaurant in Bali

To end off an unforgettable week on the Island of the Gods, book a table at a really nice Balinese restaurant to savor the flavors of Indonesia one last time before you leave.

We suggest staying in Kuta tonight, as it’s conveniently close to the airport (about 15 minutes), and the boat services arrive from the Nusa Islands at Sanur Port (half an hour from Kuta or the airport).

Gabah Restaurant is as authentic as they come, it’s name a Bahasa Indonesian phrase. The natural interiors take you back in time, and all ingredients are sourced from the local markets. Choose between five menus: the Signature, Archipelago, Balinese Delight, Indian Delights and Vegetarian.

For quintessential Indonesian foods, like nasi goreng, chicken satay and curries, dine at traditional Shinta Warung (established in 1995).

With its fusion of Indonesian seafood and Chinese menu, Wanaku continues to impress patrons — and just wait until you get a load of the setting! Sashimi lobster, anyone?

Day 7: Cultural Park & fly home

Cultural Park in Bali, Indonesia

Can you believe it’s all ending so fast?

Check-out of your stay and enjoy one last brekkie in Kuta (approximately 10 minutes from Denpasar Airport and 20 minutes from Seminyak), and if time affords it, add an extra cultural activity in the area to your Bali itinerary before flying home or to your next destination.

Revel in one last breakfast in Kuta (1hr)

Crumb & Coaster in Bali

For the best breakfast (and coffee) in Kuta, Crumb & Coaster kickstarts your day the right way!

Straight off the bat, we recommend the signature (massive) sweetcorn fritter stack or the go-to house omelet.

Other yummies are benedict croissants, smashed avo toast variations, banana pancakes and a classic full English.

From the outside, it could be mistaken for a trendy boutique, and speaking of, there is a recently added shop selling homeware and clothing.

Opening early morning, it’s ideal for travelers with an early start.

Watch a traditional show at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (2hrs)

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Bali

If time isn’t of the essence and you’re blessed with extra hours for a last round of sightseeing, ensure your final endeavor is a cultural one over at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park . It’s the perfect send-off!

Missed the chance to watch a traditional kecak dance performance? Not to fear because you have one last opportunity at the park, with daily cultural performances running between 11 AM and 6 PM.

Witness the famed dance, listen to native Balinese music and get involved in the other daily culture-centric activities.

Home to the tallest monument in Bali, the park’s 121-meter-tall Garuda Wisnu Kencana copper-brass statue is an iconic Indonesian landmark.

Hire a segway and explore the 60-hectare grounds this way and its other larger-than-life monuments, or climb the statue during a ‘Top of Statue Tour.’  There is also the on-site Jendela Bali Restaurant.

Warung Mertha Sari Pesinggahan

Warung Mertha Sari Pesinggahan

Membayangkan nya saja udah bikin air liur netes.

bali tour de

Lokasinya hanya 200-300 meter sebelum obyek wisata Pura Goa Lawah.
